Hi Aryo Sayogha,
Yup, I have set it on 'Always On'. And it keeps on disconnecting. Ok, I'll ask the ISP then for their regulations.
Thanks for the info because that eliminates one of my questions but lets investigate a little more before contacting your ISP. From looking at you syslog I'm thinking that the AEBS is setup as a Bridge and your ISP Modem is a Gateway. NOTE: All of the information in your syslog are Level 5 Notices and Level 3 Errors.
*O.K. So what is this information about?*
1) Your ISP Modem is a Gateway and doesn't use DHCP to supply IP Address for your Network.
2) A Gateway will only supply 2 IP Address to a single Network Device.
3) A Gateway has a default Route to your ISP Network and it's 117.102.108.1.
4) A Gateway will supply a different IP Address based on their DHCP Lease time or if it's disconnected then reconnected but I think it's not creating all these 117.102.110.248 -> 117.102.108.1 in the syslog.
5) A Gateway will lock on to a MAC Address of a Network Device until it's turned off or looses power. To remove this lock and reset a Gateway, unplug it's connection to your Network Device and turn if off for a few minutes. Then turned it back on and wait until all the light indicators stop flashing before re-connecting it to one of your Network Devices.
6) There're only two MAC Address listed in the syslog; 00:18:f8:34:f7:f9 & 00:24:36:8c:5d:2d so I think they don't match what the Gateway has locked onto.
7) The syslog containing Associated, Deauthenticating, Disassociated, Associated and Installed unicast TKIP key with the MAC Address of 00:18:f8:34:f7:f9 is a Wireless Device renewing the WPA Group Key but this normal.
8) The syslog containing fe80::21e:c2ff:feba:4dfe%bridge0: is using IPv6 for it's IP Address and looks like it's setup as a Bridge and has a MAC Address of 00:24:36:8c:5d:2d so I'm think that the AEBS is setup as a Bridge. This will cause the Gateway to issue a IP Address using DHCP every time one of your Network Devices request a connection and your ISP will eventually notice this plus they may think you're hacking their Network.
I hope I didn't confuse you with all of this because I think there's something not setup properly. Are you having problem you Internet or Local Network?
Let me know and I'll help you fix it.
Later ...

  • Airport keep disconnecting every few minutes

    Hi,
I don't know why, but my airport keeps disconnecting every few minutes, although it reconnects after that.
I'm sure there's no problem with my router since other PCs in my home are fine.
It's totally fine when I use my windows in the macbook (via bootcamp).
Anyone has the same problem or anyone knows the solution?
    Thanks.

I've had this issue for about a week and it has made my Macbook nearly impossible to use for anything other than local disk work.
Last night I tried running the standalone upgrade and it worked beautifully, however, upon booting up this AM I'm back to square one, constantly dropping the connection, ran the standalone update again and back in business with no drops.
While this is appears to be my temp workaround I don't want to be doing this on a daily basis.
HELLO APPLE what is the deal ?

  • Disconnect PPPoE via applescript?

    Hi,
I've a Wireless router running on bridged mode connected to my Macbook through airport. I've created a PPPoE dialer to connect/disconnect.
Is there any way I could connect/disconnect it via applescript? I want to schedule reboot (reconnect) at 12am and disconnect at 7am. I used telnet for my previous router, but this one has some unknown firmware.
I'd appreciate any help on this. Many thanks.

    Hello
Firstly I have to say I can only guess, for I don't use OSX10.5 for myself.
I found a seemingly relevant page here:
    http://blog.heatery.com/2008/06/how-to-connect-or-disconnect-pptp-vpn.html
It contains sample codes to connect and disconnect PPTP VPN session by using application "System Events" under OSX10.5, which I think you can adapt for your need.
    E.g.
    --connect PPPoE
(* Code from AppleScript 2.0 Release Notes* )
    tell application "System Events"
    tell network preferences
    tell current location
set aPPPoEService to a reference to (first service whose kind is 10)
if exists aPPPoEService then connect aPPPoEService
    end tell
    end tell
    end tell
    --disconnect PPPoE
(* A mixture of code from AppleScript 2.0 Release Notes and code from above link *)
    tell application "System Events"
    tell network preferences
    tell current location
set aPPPoEService to a reference to (first service whose kind is 10)
    if exists aPPPoEService then
set isConnected to connected of current configuration of aPPPoEService
    if isConnected then disconnect aPPPoEService
    end if
    end tell
    end tell
    end tell
If you wish, I guess you may replace this line:
set aPPPoEService to a reference to (first service whose kind is 10)
with something like this line, which lets you refer to service by its name:
set aPPPoEService to service "your PPPoE service name"
    Hope this may help,
    H

  • Macbook Pro 2011 keeps freezing and disconnecting from internet

Ever since I upgraded to 10.8 Mountain Lion, my macbook has been acting up and its becoming a real big hassle.
The first big issue is it keeps freezing. Everything freezes, the only thing I can do is move my mouse cursor around but I can't open anything, everything just becomes frozen. Whenever this happens I have to hard reset my macbook and turn it on again all the time. This occurs between an hour of use to 3 days of use, its always random.
My 2nd issue is my airport keeps disconnecting, It doesn't show that its disconnected but I can never connect to anything or open any pages on google chrome or safari.
Can anyone figure out whats the source of this issue? I took it into the genius bar and they weren't even sure either, but then again they didn't do a thorough investigation they just quickly looked at it because I was runnnig short on time.

Been having the same problem since I upgraded to Mountain Lion - MBP (2011) crashing at least twice a day. I noticed that it's Chrome that crashes first, so I'm using Safari for now, so lets see if it makes any difference.

  • How can i connect/disconnect PPPoe via Ethernet connected time capsule??

I connected the time capsule with Ethernet.
I set connect to PPPoe with "Manual" option.
I could easily control "Connect/disconnect" pppoe using AIRPORT (in the menu bar). But I could not find a way to "Connect/disconnect" via ETHERNET. (No ETHERNET icon on menu bar anyway...)
Could somebody help? THanks a lot.

Have you consulted the printer's user manual for setting it up as an Ethernet printer? You will also need to delete your current printer in Print & Fax and when you Add the printer you will need to do so as an Ethernet printer. This means you will add it either as an IP printer using either LPR or IPP protocol - depends on what the printer supports. An Ethernet device requires an IP address that is either manually configured on the device or derived if the device supports DHCP. If the former then the IP address you configure for the printer must be within the range of IP addresses used by your router (typically 10.0.1.2-10.0.1.199 for an AEBS/TC.) This should be covered in the printer's user manual.

  • The password for wireless network was changed.  Airport keeps trying to sign in automatically with old password and won't let me put in new password. Any ideas?

You really should change both the wireless network name and password to avoid potential conflicts with the old and new settings.
Suggest you give that a try.

  • Ipod keeps connecting then disconnecting

I've tried everything possible to try to make my Ipod mini work. I can't connect it to the PC because it keeps connecting and disconnecting repeatedly. I can't restore it since I can't connect it. I've tried all the different USB ports and I've installed and uninstalled all the programs a few times. I've also reset it connected and disconnected. It has worked before but now it won't! This is driving me nuts

Similar problem here too plus when I do manage to get them to connect they will not charge.
Both my classic iPods work fine, in all my computers, and show that they are charging, but my family have 3 nanos, a 4th and two 5ths. Although they all connect to my PC and my laptop fine, none of these will connect correctly to my daughters PC no matter what USB port I put them in.
I have checked in device manager that the ports are powered (500ma) and nothing else is there to infringe on this supply. Still these items connect and disconnect constantly. Ironically every now and then, they will connect and allow me to look at the files etc in iTunes. I have at one point had two nanos and my classic connected to her computer and they all worked fine for about an hour, I thought that I had finally got rid of the problem but one by one the nanos started to play up again so this exacerbates the problem somewhat.
I also get various warnings when the Nanos are trying to connect like, software driver failure to install, it will work faster in a high speed USB port, nano needs formatted to work in windows plus a host of others. When I plug them back into my PC they connect fine, so that all adds to the confusion. If this was one nano I would suspect that it was faulty but it is three different ones.
I have done the 5 Rs, I have even gone as far as upgrading from XP to Windows 7, I have plugged the units into every USB port, I even bought a new PCI/USB card and tried that and still this problem persists.
I would like to hear from someone with any suggestions as to what is causing this and how to fix it.

  • Why does my iPad keeps connecting and disconnecting from the new late 2013 iMac

    Hi there,
I've recently bought a new late 2013 iMac and ever since then I'm not able to connect my iPad 2 to it. When I do connect it keeps connecting and disconnecting  again and again for some reason. The cable is fine and I've tried it with other devices. Just wondered why this is and whether you guys can help me out.
    Thanks a lot!
    CitizenJohnny

    Hi,
I had the same problem and just found a solution. I tryed restoring all content and settings on the iPad (Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings). It took lots of time, however it didn´t work because when I connected the iPad and iMac the problem persisted.
Then I thought it wasn´t an iPad problem but iMac OSX problem. So I searched the web for "Reinstall Mavericks" and found this http://support.apple.com/kb/PH13871?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US.
It also takes like 6 hours with my internet speed. Next day I connected the iPad and everything is just fine.
I described both processes because I don´t know if in the end the iPad reset helped in the solution.
    Hope that helps! good luck

  • IPhone 4s keeps connecting and disconnecting from my new Macbook Air 2013

Ok I've been having this problem, I recently got an 11 inch Macbook Air 2013 and after I try connecting my iPhone 4s it keeps connecting and disconnecting every 1-2 seconds. I already check the community, I know this subject has been asked many times. Nothing worked out though. My cable cord must be fine because it works perfectly on my PC. I updated the OS and iOS to their latest firmware and still nothing. Whenever I try opening iTunes I get this message saying " iTunes could not connect to this iPhone. This device is no longer connected. " Please if anyone fixed this issue I would appreciate some help. Thanks in advance.

I just solved it, I hope this helps everyone who is experiencing the same problem. Apparently the iPhone seems to charge normally and connect to iTunes if the iPhone battery is over 60%-70%. This must be a power issue the MBA has.

Did you do a clean, from scratch install? Or did you use the Migration Assistant to transfe from another Mac?
I had the same bloody issues and after doing a from scratch install I got everything working flawlessly.
The Migration Assistant messed up my KeyChains and seemed to play havoc on my Airport password and various other things.
Someone mentioned, on another post they deleted their keyChains and recreated their passwords. Still a clean install, I think, is the best route.
Do yoiu have to log in again when the connection is lost? I don't it finds it right away and logs in on it's own.
My Airport does not broadcast the SSID and a password is required to access the network.
I hope I have helped you out ...

  • IPhone 4s keep connecting then disconnecting with new MBA

    Hi,
New MBA i5/4g/128 arrived this afternoon. During few hours of setting all my stuff, everything works just fine.
But when I try to connect my iPhone 4s with a official cable, it keeps connecting then disconnecting(about 2 times per second) and won't stop.
Is there anyone met the same issue? please help. Thanks!

    Thanks for the reply
I've tried 2 cables at home. 1 is a offical cable and another one is a 3rd party cable, both of them didn't work, and both of them work perfectly with other PCs.
After read your reply, I decide to try another 3rd party cable at office, it worked.
No idea why, but maybe MBA choose cable more sensitively?
Anyway thanks a lot and have a nice day!

  • [SOLVED] NetworkManager keeps on reconnecting

My NetworkManager keeps on reconnecting no matter whether I use wired or wireless network. This annoys me a few days.
I find that `sudo systemctl restart NetworkManager` could solve this problem temporarily. After reboot the problem arises again.
My system is up to date. And I am using Gnome 3.
Any idea why does it happen and how could I get rid of  it?

@frank604, I didn't enabled dhcpcd, netctl, or wicd.
    I ran `journalctl -u NetworkManager.service` and noticed these lines:
Feb 04 10:36:52 xbull NetworkManager[4339]: <warn> the dhcpcd backend does not support IPv6.
    Feb 04 10:36:52 xbull NetworkManager[4339]: <info> (enp4s0): device state change: activated -> failed (reason 'dhcp-start-failed') [100 120 15]
After some googling, I find this post: dhcpcd not work with NetworkManager 1.0.
Someone metions that NetworkManager 1.0 embed an internal DHCP client, and the DHCP client does not support IPv6 yet.
I edit the connection and disable IPv6, then the problem disappears.
    Thanks for your help!

  • Airport keeps dropping the wireless connection to my network 2 or 3 times a day.

    Hi,
Since apple's recent firmware update for my macbook pro, airport keeps dropping the wireless connection to my network 2 or 3 times a day. It then searches for a network but can't find it, but if I select my network manually it connects immediately ???
Any fixes for this ..... in layman's language please!
    Thanks,
    Steve

It is not the router. There are a number of factors that are involved. If the router is a G/N router you may have to switch to G-Only (or disable N). You may also have a 5 GHz wireless phone or other routers in the neighborhood interfereing with the signal.
    Try this:
    1. Open network preferences. Take note of what IP address is assigned. Then, click Advanced.
    2. Click on TCP/IP and select Using DHCP with manual address and type the IP address below that.
    3. Click OK.
    4. Set your Router to Wireless-G only (or disable N) and change the channel to 11 or some higher number.
This should keep it from dropping the wireless connection. It is a bug in the OS. Apple has not fixed it in 3 years.
You wireless connection will be a tad slower, but you really won't notice.
    Hope that helps.
