AirPrint has stopped working - how can I get it to work?
Yesterday morning my HP110a stopped working with airprint. iPad and iPhone 4 with iOS 4.3, having worked fine before, suddenly cannot find the printer on the network.
Using Safari, I can access the printer's webpage from the iPad and iPhone, my MacBook Pro finds the printer with Bonjour, and prints to it no problem, ePrinting works fine - but AirPrint doggedly refuses to work - 'No Printers Found' being the constant message.
I have been through all the troubleshooting points - checked network, checked all software / firmware is up to date, even updated iOS to 4.3.1 to no avail.
The need to print from the iPad is urgent - as the MacBook pro isn't in the house much. It worked so well till yesterday. Help.
Just to clarify, it only works when the phone is plugged in and charging. What happens when you try to activate it? Is there any error message?

I have a related issue (I think, hard to know for sure from the short frustrated post above).
Since the last update of iTunes (11.0.5), it kind of freezes while checking for and downloading new podcasts. Processor load goes to 100% (sometimes above! figure from Swedish OSX "Aktivitetskontroll" which I can imagine is something like "Activity Control" or "Activity Manager" in English OSX) and stays there for a few minutes, 3-5 minutes is common. During that time the mouse pointer turns into a spinning ball when moved above iTunes. Other apps work ok meanwhile. (Four processors)
Have a fixed connection to the internet, which I have tested while iTunes is frozen. We acheive above 100 Mbit/s downstream, 20 Mbit/s upstream, so the connection shouldn't be the problem.
Any ideas on what to do?

I had already tried deleting the review slide itself, though Captivate wouldn't let me - it just hid it. I tried again using the method you recommended but the slide remained in the filmstrip, so I tried deleting again, then re-added it from the Quiz Settings page ... no joy, same behavior as before.
I checked the Advanced Interaction page and confirmed that all of the scored questions were configuredthe same way as the non-scored questions, with the only difference being the pool that they were drawing from.
Other thoughts? I am by no means a Captivate expert but this one really feels like it shouldn't be this hard, and I'm more than a little afraid that it's the file itself that's jacked up ... -

Because it is set to print to a JPEG File instead of send to a Printer. Change the Print To: pulldown in the Print Job panel to "Printer"

My sound is no longer working, how can i get it to work again?
My Macbook Pro sound drivers are no longer operating, everytime I turn on my laptop a message appears on the screen asking me to stop using headphones and after I click "stop using headphones", there is no sound, my volume levels show a bold mute sign indicating that there is no sound driver. If someone has knowledge in regards to this and potentially are capable of resolving this, please notify me at once as I am impatient of hearing no sound to play music and want my sound drivers to operate once again. When I try to go to the Contacts portion of my Yahoo account, the contacts page appears but when I try to put a contact into the search place, nothing happens. The Calendar works and the Email page works. I can get to the Contacts page through Internet Explorer but I prefer using Firefox. I have the latest version of Firefox.
Update firefox to the latest version. If necessary use http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/.
Some problems have been fixed in Firefox 18.0.2 it may help to update to that version.

I understand that you scanner bulb is to low with your HP Officejet J4680, on Windows 8.1. I am happy to look into this for you!
Some questions for you, if you do not mind:
Are you able to place a sheet of paper on the scanner glass and make a copy of it? Or does the printer provide the same error message?
Is the printer plugged into a surge protector? Or Directly into the wall outlet? Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector. This applies to Inkjet printers as well.
If you make a copy and lift the scanner lid, do you see the light bulb come on, and the scanner bar moving?

After installing, reboot holding down CMD+s, (+s), then when the DOS like prompt shows, type in...
applejack AUTO
Then let it do all 6 of it's things.
At least it'll eliminate some questions if it doesn't fix it.
The 6 things it does are...
Correct any Disk problems.
Repair Permissions.
Clear out Cache Files.
Repair/check several plist files.
Dump the VM files for a fresh start.
Trash old Log files.
First reboot will be slower, sometimes 2 or 3 restarts will be required for full benefit... my guess is files relying upon other files relying upon other files! :-)
Disconnect the USB cable from any Uninterruptible Power Supply so the system doesn't shut down in the middle of the process.
