AirPrintANE is not displaying print dialog on iOS 8.x but works on 7.x and 6.x

I use janumedia AirPrintANE native extension to print from AIR app from iPad. After the February 2015 requirements to compile 64bit binary and for ANEs to support universal libraries I compiled AirPrintANE in xcode using appropriate architecture (arm64, armv7, armv7s). Now it builds and works fine on iOS 6.x and 7.x but does not show the print dialog on 8.x version of iOS. I'm not very confident on objective-c side of this ANE so can anyone more confident suppose what is going on there?

I've installed iOS 8.1 yesterday on my iPhone 5s
It does not work.
I found though the following workaround .
The first time I connect to the site, I just press login without credentials.
The site responds with <401 UNAUTHORIZED> (it may look like a white screen to you but if you drag it down a little you will see it)
Then I make a refresh to connect again to the site.
I apply username and password and this time it WORKS !!!
This is the only way to make it function, as it would.
This still happens with safari, not other browsers.

We use CS6, yes we calibrate using x-rite. I have always had adobe manage colors when printing. This problem just occurred, all my settings are the same as they have been for years. The only thing we did lately is do an update to CS6. We thought it might be our printer but when we use the printer manages color it works fine, The problem with adobe manages color is it is not blending the light highlights like on top of the cheeks with the colors around the cheeks and its putting a faint red between the two it just does not have a smooth transition. I printed a photo that I had printed 4 months ago with no issue, and this time it had the issue that I am dealing with now. Somehow the photo shop manages color is not getting the right info to my printer.

Hae you tried to do a hard reset of your phone? This will not lose any data. Hold the sleep/wake button and the home button until the phone turns off ignoring any slide to power off messages. Then power the phone back on.

you will be ok updating to the new software but there will be some trade off. i have 3 macbooks 2006 that are all running the latest versions.
some of the trade off are
1-2 less of battery life
slow wake ups from sleep
slower start up time about 30-40 seconds longer then what you have now
the operating system will use high % of your processer while idealing
these are not the things you want to hear about a new os compared to the old one but this is how it is even with a new macbook pro. but it's not the end of the world. just make sure you have at least more then 2GB of ram and have a good harddrive and you will be ok.

You don't input the information in manually for iCloud mail. It is automatically set up for you when you sign into iCloud via System Preferences and choose the Mail checkbox. Sign out of iCloud or deselect Mail in iCloud preferences. Open Mail's preferences and choose accounts tab. If iCloud account still exists in the list, delete it. Sign back into iCloud or check the box for mail. The account will be auto created for you.

Waterfox can coexist peacefully with Waterfox. I have both installed, but never use Firefox any more.
Not only can Waterfox run in 64-bit address space, it also is better optimized during compile time than Firefox. (For obvious reasons; Firefox is compatible with many old systems, Waterfox only needs to be compatible with new 64-bit systems.)
P.S. regarding Chris' advice above; Firefox and Waterfox use the same profile, so if that is actually the problem, then it will occur in both browsers.

Hi Grum,
If the formulas aren't filling to the new column, you must have changed something in the template since you first opened it. Numbers is rather fussy about filling row content in columns as they are added. Only rows with the same expression in every Body Column will fill when a column is added. Just as an experiment, start a new Employee Schedule document from the Template Chooser and then add a column by clicking the Add Column handle in the upper right corner of the table. If that works, as it should, then think about what might have changed in your working document to disconnect that feature. Maybe we can figure it out together.

I have try to downlod the latest version but I am getting the same error.
When I try to see parameters in the preference dialog, the righ pane of the preference screen it not changing when I select other options.
I am a litle bit lost...
This is installed on Windows Server 2008 R2. What is strange is that the problem occurs only with the administrator user and not with an other user who is also member of the administrators group.

When I click on View > Connections, Raptor does not do anything.
My coworker system has Windows 2000 and the same version of java. Beside that, there are so many other variables. I am not sure what to look for. Could you please give me more information on what to look for?

Delay in displaying print dialog window

When I click on 'print', in Reader (any version) there is a 90 second delay before the print window appears! This seems to be because Reader 'polls' all the printers in my list, before showing the window.
I can make the problem disappear by deleting the printers which are not connected at the time - but then, I have to re-install those printers each time I re-connect them, and want to use them.
Is there any way to set Reader so that it only 'polls' printers when they are chosen via the dialog box - in the same way that other applications (such as MS Word) do? That way, you only get a delay if you try to send output to a printer that is currently disconnected.
(Sorry if this has been covered before - I couldn't find a thread)

OK, problem solved.
It appears that a printer on a user's printer list would cause the delay each time you attempted to print a pdf. Saw this occur from Acrobat Reader, Standard, and Professional.
The solution is to delete a suspected printer from the Printers and Faxes list, then try printing a pdf. You'll know when you've deleted the correct printer, as the dialog box will come up immediately when you File/Print. Keep deleting until you've got the correct printer.
Network printers no longer installed should be your first suspects. However, we found valid, working printers to be the cause on a couple of occasions.

On our ipad 2, after upgrading to iOS 7, the photo album is completely screwed, and the saved photos are not displaying correctly. How do we get our photos Back?

OK, tried the reset and it seems to have cleared up some problems; however, the picture problem remains.
Maybe there is something further we could do in settings? My wife uses the iPad as her constant companion and likes to take screen shots (pictures) of recipes and such. She keeps them in albums. Before the update to iOS 7 they all displayed correctly regardless of physical machine orientation. Now, post update, when in landscape mode, which she uses 99.9% of the time, her pics do do fully display. By physically rotating the machine, they will appear correctly. We have noticed that there is a new "function" in edit pics for "aspect ratio."
Should we be using this? If so, she'll have to edit a very large number of pics. So I'm wondering if we're missing some new setting. BTW- this display problem also occurs with pics taken with the camera as well.

I do not see print dialog when I click File Print and thus cannot select a different printer from previous printing.

When I click File Print, no dialog appears. Instead, printing starts immediately so, I don't get to select a printer. At some point in the distant past (with a previous version of Firefox, maybe), the dialog must have appeared I must have chosen the Office Onenote printer. Now, whenever I print a web page, Firefox always uses that printer.
I can change to another printer by editing the config file but, I have to do that every time I want to change printers. That's a bit cumbersome. Is there any way to force the print dialog to open when I click File Print so that I can chose a printer that way?
I am using Firefox 3.6.3 with Windows XP SP3.

I was having this issue, first when trying to "Run" and then after saving the exe and trying from the desktop.
To solve it, I simply right-clicked the exe and clicked Run As Administrator. Its installing as I type.

DW CS3 does not display confirmation dialog when checking out file

We have 3 developers set up with DW CS3 Version 9 build 3481.
When checking out a file that is already checked out one pc will
display a dialog box to confirm that you want to check-out the file
as it is already checked out by someone else. This is good as we
want this dialog to appear. However on the other 2 pc's there is no
dialog box displayed and the checkout process continues as if the
file was never checked out.
The text of the confirmation dialog box reads as such :
"index.cfm is checked out by first.lastname. Are you sure you want
to override his/her checkout?". I have been through the preferences
and verified that we have setup the sites in the same manner but we
still have this issue.
Is there a known bug regarding this feature? Is there a
preference setting somewhere that I have missed?

Are each of your developers sharing the same local site?
That's why you are
getting this error if they are. The proper setup would
involve THREE
locations:
1. Local sites (unique to each workstation)
2. Staging server (shared by all workstations)
3. Production server (the live site)
You would have TWO site definitions, which would be -
(for each workstation)
1. Local = #1 (unique location for each workstation)
2. Remote = #2
(for one MASTER workstation)
1. Local = #2
2. Remote = #3
Use the first site definition for day-to-day work and
checking files in/out.
Use the second site definition ONLY for pushing files from
the staging
server to the production server.
That's the only way it will work....

Adobe Creative Cloud does not support APPLE latest IOS operating system, but does allow Windows 8.1 to be accepted. This seems a shame to me, as
Apple IOS is the leader in graphics, photography. The advertising states it is usable under both APPLE IOS and Microsoft 8.1 windows operating systems. Adobe Support Chat Sooraj tells me on 02/19/2015 that i must buy two computers to have it operate on both operating systems. Adobe will not support apple's Boot CAMP allowing both operating systems.

Flash objects not displaying in Firefox (but works fine in Chrome and IE)

Well, I'm trying to embed a Shockwave Flash object into a website I'm building. It displays in Chrome and IE, but it doesn't show up at all in Firefox. It's just white space. Ive tried it on two machines, so it's presumably the code. Both the machines have Adobe Flash enabled... I'm not sure what the problem is. I've not worked with embedding Flash objects in HTML before, so, it's probably something really obvious. I just used the insert command on dreamweaver and it wrote the code that I'm using. If anyone can help me, it would be much appreciated. Here's my code:

If you can't post an address for a page demonstrating the problem, could you check the Web Console (Ctrl+Shift+k) and Browser Console (Ctrl+Shift+j) for any messages related to the Flash media? For example, does either console show that Firefox is requesting the SWF file? Does either show an error in content type or any kind of security message?
