AirSAMStateMachine.c 3259 1510 error

I have an airSAM-error that I have not yet seen posted.
airSAMStateMachine.c 3259 1510
My Treo 700P no longer syncs unassisted. I'd greatly appreciate help/advice.
Thanks
Post relates to: Treo 700p (Sprint)

This error message nearly always happens with a corrupt offline calendar event.  The fix for this is:
In Outlook, click on Calendar to view the calendar.
Open the File menu.
From File, select Folder, then Properties for "Calendar".
Under the General tab, click the button for Clear Offline Folders.
Your Calendar items may disappear. If this happens, you can restore them from the Exchange server later. For now, don't restore it.
Perform a HotSync operation.
Open the HotSync log and look for the OLERR message. If it's not there, you have resolved the issue.
Whether or not OLERR returns, you can now restore your Calendar data from the Exchange server:
In Outlook, open the Tools menu.
From the Tools menu, select Send/Receive, then Send/Receive All.
Your Outlook client will contact the Exchange server and display your Calendar information from the server.

I have been trying to download the latest update for an ipod touch and at first I got the message Error = -3259. (something about timeout) I followed 3 or 4 different instructions to fix the problem. I now have a problem in that everytime I try to download the update now, I get error message 1479. It can download anywhere up to 21mb before the message appears. Can anyone help me please?? This is driving me nuts!! Cheers

    Hi There,
Firstly did you get a response for this
For the last three months I have been trying to download my favourite daily podcast and I always get err 3259. It is quite strange as it is only this particular podcast, others seem to work fine.
I have read many posts on this, and have tried to log in and out of itunes, I have not downloaded any anti virus software so dont think i can disable this, not sure about how to disable a firewall or if even I have one.
I connect wireless to a Belkin modem. This is my home connection so have no other intermediaries.
Nothing seems to work, all I can think I have changed in the last three months is I run my i tunes off my external hard drive.
Can anyone help me as this is my daily dose of home and my favourite radio dj's and am having withdrawals!
    Thanks so much in advance.

  • Rep-1510 Error

I am running a matrix report whenever I Select "All" in department list it takes long to process then gives me error message "REP-1510 Group Manager unable to compute column 'CS_Net_Sal'
where as it is not a case when I select a particular department !!!!
Is it a Bug ? if yes where can I find the patch ?

    Mr. Navneet,
My report Version is Reports 6i, and CS_Net_Sal is a Summary column based on CF_NET_SAL(Function column) below is the function and columns datatypes are number :
    (Gross_Salary + Allowances ) - Advances
the design of the report is "Matrix With Group"
as long as I am running department wise there is no problem but if i select "All" departments it shows report progress for 5 minutes then gives me the error message "REP-1510 Group Manager unable to compute column 'CS_Net_Sal" and I dont think the report involves too complex calculation. And if u can tell me please from where can I find the latest patch for reports 6i.
    Thanks

  • 3259 "Timeout" error - what I've tried - HELP!

I've been unable to access the music store for, I suppose nearly 2 months now. To the best of my knowledge (because it was so long ago now) I first noticed the problem when trying to update my ipod with the latest software. It seems that the store was working one day, and the next it wasn't. I've tried everything I can think of to no avail. I emailed apple for support which still provided no solution. I've tried
    - disabling Windows Firewall
    - disabled my download manager / accelerator
    - disabled antivirus (NOD32)
    - disabled all 3rd party services and startup programs in msconfig.exe
-uninstalling itunes/quicktime as according to apple.com's instructions and reinstalling while all 3rd party services are disabled
    - updating XP with latest patches
    - using another PC (same ISP) which has NOT been updated with windows updates (running IE6)
    - using an older version of itunes (6)
    - flushing the DNS cache
    - enabling SSL 2.0 in Internet Explorer
    - using IE7
None of the above helped in the slightest.
I did manage to access the store using an old dial-up connection (different ISP). Apple support is suggesting that it is an ISP problem - I'm not inclined to agree, as the store was working one day - then just stopped. I've also noticed that this seems to be a large scale problem, with many people getting the same error, and with so many ISP's I doubt it is an ISP problem.
I'm open to suggestions... can anyone help me because it appears apple can't/won't. Thanks

Sorry zalzan, I've tried original versions of 7 AND 6. However my problem didn't start with me updating iTunes, the store was working one day and the next it wasn't. I've also tried using iTunes on another computer on the network and it no longer works too. This 2nd computer is practically never updated with XP updates by the way.

  • REP-1510 error in matrix report

    Hi,
In my matrix report,I need to calculate a column based on the formula columns in other matirx groups.I know the reason for this error.(Formula column in one group should be based on the values in the same group).
But I dnt know how to arrive at the solution without getting data from different groups.
    Please suggest me any solution.
    Thanks.

What do you mean by "calculate a column based on formula columns in other matrix groups"? Do you want to sum them up? Do the columns have a 1 to 1 ratio with their rows? Can you try to describe your data model better. My hands are tied without knowing the bigger picture.

  • 3259 Error

I am unable to update iTunes and my iPad to latest O/S. On each attempt I get about 10% there and get the 3259 network error. I am running XP and although on a wireless network, this PC is directly connected to router. I have tried all the "tips" I can find on the web including completely disabling McAfee virus scan and firewall. Still unable to download. iPad becoming useless and the apps I want need the newer O/S.  Paid $29 for an apple support call but they basically checked  settings (proxy etc), had me flush DNS (do all the things you can find on the web if you look long enough) and still nothing. Purchased subscription to Paralogic to assist with updating drivers, repairing register, fixing broken links, etc. still no luck.  Has anyone found the real answer.

Usually it's because you are not making internet connection via wifi.

    Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

  • Error on saprouter installation (Windows 2003 server)

    Hi everyone,
We are setting up our SAProuter server specifically for our SAP remote connection and Solution Manager setup but encountered an error. I am using Windows 2003. I've already acquired certificate by issuing command sapgenpse get_pse -v -r certreq -p local.pse. I have no idea what the error is all about. Unfortunately, I am no Network Admin expert if this is about network issues. Would very much appreciate some enlightenment and help from you guys. Thanks!

Hi Markus, yes .pse file is located in the same directory as the saprouter executables.
Also, when I tried to execute sapgenpse get_my_name -p local.pse I got the ff. error:
    D:\SAProuter>sapgenpse get_my_name -p local.pse

And then tried running sapgenpse get_my_name -v -n Issuer and got the ff:

I really am so confused as to what is happening here since it seems I successfully acquired the certificate and when I run sapgenpse seclogin -p local.pse -O administrator I got the ff. message which seems successfully completed:
    D:\SAProuter>sapgenpse seclogin -p local.pse -O administrator

  • 700p + Activesync + AirSAMStateMachine.c 1913 3

Been trying for weeks. No luck. Have a 700p (Sprint), trying to sync wirelessly over the air with Microsoft Exchange Activesync Server 2003. Has never worked. Sprint and Palm advanced technical support unable to help ... Using Versamail and EAS update download ... My IT folks say my settings on the phone are correct -- and the server indeed works (all the 700w phones on our network are able to sync flawlessly, but the 700p has never worked).
After every attempt I get following error message on the phone:
    AirSAMStateMachine.c 1913 3
Any clues, tips, suggestions, hints, truly appreciated.

I reset my treo to factory defaults and first setup my email and it gave the same error. Except the error code was different. It's AirSAMStateMachine.c 530 3
    Any suggestions?

Are you sure its 1510 and not 1015?
If it's 1015 this error is typically caused by attempts to downgrade the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch's software. This can occur when you attempt to restore using an older .ipsw file. Downgrading to a previous version is not supported. To resolve this issue, attempt to restore with the latest iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch software available from Apple. This error can also occur when an unauthorized modification of the iOS has occurred and you are now trying to restore to an authorized, default state.

  • Bind 9 DNS Server chroot cannot work on Solaris 10 u6 and u7

My Old verion "Solaris 10 x86 Generic_Patch_118844-30" can be run "Bind 9 DNS Server" in chroot mode.
And this is no any problem.
I have been try to use "Bind 9 DNS Server" in Solairs 10 x86 u6 or u7.
The result is not any problem.
But when I turn it run in the chroot mode. the "Bind 9 DNS Server" cannot run.
I have been manuelly run the named:-
    /usr/sbin/named -c /etc/named.conf -t /chroot/dns -u named -f -g
    The respond is :-
    13-May-2009 02:17:46.623 starting BIND 9.3.6-P1 -c /etc/named.conf -t /chroot/dns -u named -f -g

13-May-2009 02:17:46.629 exiting (due to early fatal error)
Look like the bind 9 runing in the chroot mode after that cannot find /dev/poll
Even I use Bind 9 version 9.6.0, the result is same.
So, I don't sure the problem are the Bind 9 or Solaris 10 u6/u7
I try to continous install New verion Bind 9 in my old version Solaris 10.
THE Result is NO ANY PROBLEM in old version Solaris 10.
And I already bypass the SMF problem.
Anyone can tell me what the problem in solaris 10 u6/u7?

Looks like something reported similar bug:

  • Can anyone help - VIA VT6656 WLAN Controller - GPL source code package

I recently purchased a new netbook, and I would very much like to run Arch Linux on it. I downloaded the Chakra installer USB image, copied it to a SDHC card using dd, and then booted from it. Everything appeared to go swimmingly during the installation except for the Wireless LAN device, it was simply not detected.
Unfortunately this appears to be a very obscure device. There is nothing like it mentioned on the Arch Linux wiki. I tried several ways to try to discover what the chip was, and to find a Linux driver for it. It appears to be a VIA chip, reported by lshw as a "VNT USB 802.11 Wireless lan adapter". It appears to use the VIA VT6656 wireless chipset. This one:
    http://www.via.com.tw/en/products/netwo … ss/vt6656/
I tracked down a "bug" on Ubuntu forums about the chip that I think it is.
    https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/162671
This Ubuntu bug report includes a message that, very recently, VIA have released new GPL v2 license source code for a driver for this chip. There is talk about trying to get the driver included in the Linux kernel, and other musings about the possibility of making a dkms package for it.
The source code is Version - 1.19.12, released on 02 February 2009. The source code is a 4.4 MB zip file, so it is probably too big to attach to this post.
    Link to source code:
    http://www.viaarena.com/default.aspx?Pa … bCatID=176
So this post is a hopeful appeal for help. I do not personally have the skills required to compile this source for myself, and thereby make a working driver for Arch from it. Would there possibly be anyone interested enough to take this on?
I would be immensely grateful if so.

It's possible the 1.19.12 release needs a kernel older than our current 2.6.29 version.
Oh, and the Arch "automated package compiler script" is called makepkg, and it's the heart of the Arch Build System (ABS). Full details available in the wiki.

  • Cant simulatanously download Podcasts?

Hey while downloading a large amount of Podcasts for Tutorials (Final cut, Motion, CS3) i cant seem to download 3 of them at once?
i have disabled ALLL Antivirus and spyware blockers, logged out then logged back in, and updated to 7.6.2
but when i start to download them again i get 1 out of the 3 with 3259. so now the only way i seem to get them is to download them 1 at a time. Any fix???

Ahh yes. 3259 is a timeout error. This has been a problem for many users lately (and they're getting very frustrated!). Many people say disabling anti-virus software (especially McAfee) does the trick. Also, disabling Simultaneous Downloads will eliminate the error.
However, the error occurs because the default connection settings in XP allows only two connections to any given server from your computer. Since all of the podcasts you are trying to download are located on the same server, you can only download two at a time, even though iTunes allows you to have three simultaneous downloads.
Luckily, I have a fix for this. (Note: I did not develop this method. However, through my extensive Googling , I have never heard of it being used (or even mentioned) to solve the iTunes 3259 timeout error. Also note: I have tested this method using the same podcast you showed in your screenshots, with iTunes 7.6.2.9, and it works.)
    Ok, let's fix this!
*+(Note: The following procedure involves modifying the Windows Registry.)+*
    1. Make sure iTunes is completely shut down.
    2. Open Notepad and copy the following into a blank document, *NOTE: replace "open bracket" and "end bracket" with actual brackets!*:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
    *+open bracket+* HKEYCURRENTUSER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings *+end bracket+*
    "MaxConnectionsPerServer"=dword:00000005
    "MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server"=dword:00000005
    3. Choose "Save As" and in "Save as type:" choose "All files."
    4. Save the file as "conregedit.reg" or whatever you wish to name it, making sure you have the extension .reg
    5. Locate the .reg file you just saved and double-click it. Click "Yes" when prompted.
    6. Open iTunes. You should now be able to download podcasts without the 3259 error!
