Airtunes works with music but not with tv show

I have an AE wired to my to my A/V receiver and I play itunes music wirelessly thru the AE and it works fine. Problem: I downloaded a TV show and the audio will not stream via the AE and will only play thru the computer. The video works fine fine in both cases as I have it hooked to my TV via my A/V receiver from my Macbook display port. I am running itunes 8.1 and my AE is on firmware version 7.4.1.
Anyone know why the songs audio works and the tv show audio does not?

Thanks for that fast and definitely a fix at this time. It also works with internet radio, not just the iTunes radio stations. Now my wife will be able to listen to KFOG from San Francisco and I can actually hear my movies, since I am using a MacBook and it is just not loud enough.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Check your settings. The iPads have a small switch on the right edge. It can be used as a rotation lock to keep the screen from automatically reorienting itself as you move around, but you need to have the tablet’s settings configured properly. That same switch, right above the volume buttons, can also be set to function instead as a mute button to silence certain types of audio.
If the switch is set to work as a mute button, you can change its purpose to “screen-rotation lock” by tapping the Settings icon on the home screen. On the Settings screen, tap General on the left side, and on the right side of the screen flick down to “Use Side Switch to.” Tap to select Lock Rotation or Mute to set the button’s function. Even if you set the side switch for your preferred use, you can still mute the Mini or lock the screen. Just double-click the Home button, and when the panel of apps appears along the bottom edge of the screen, flick the row from left to right with your finger. Tap the icon on the far left side of the row to either lock the iPad’s screen or mute the iPad’s alerts, notifications and sound effects. Music, podcasts and video are not muted unless you turn the volume all the way down.

Add artwork works for music, but not for TV or Movies

I am unable to add artwork to movies or TV shows, although it does work for music. Whenever I try to add it to a movie, I go "Get info"->"Artwork"->Select the file and it shows up in the preview window. However, when I press "OK", I get an odd "movie reel" type icon where the image is (picture attached above, sorry about poor quality), which after a few seconds reverts to the original artwork (not the artwork I'm trying to change it to). Anyone know what could be going on here? I've only noticed it since the recent iTunes update. Thanks

Bluetooth works for music, but not calls

When I pair my Xperia M2 with my PLT_BBTGO, eventhough both Phone Audio and Media Audio are checked, the media audio only seems to work. I tried placing a call while my bluetooth was paired and it only worked through the phone itself, instead of the headset. The same happened when I received a call. The music player works fine.
I've used these headset with my old Nokia phone, and they worked fine.

Airtunes works from Mac but not XP

My config:
Powerbook to the router via ethernet. (DHCP with fixed assignment)
Windows XP connected to the router via ethernet. (DHCP with fixed assignment)
AirPort Ex. 1 connected to the router via wifi (DHCP)
AirPort EX. 2 connected to the router via wifi (DCHP)
The Mac will stream to either or both AEs via iTunes. The Windows XP machines recognizes the speakers but when I try to select either one of them, I get the following error:
"The remote speaker <SPEAKER NAME> is not compatible with this version of iTunes."
I upgraded the XP machine to iTunes version 6.0.5.20 (latest as of this writing)
The firmware on both AEX is 6.3
Any suggestions. The Mac goes everywhere with me, and I need the Windows box to handle the household music when I'm away.

Even tho you have the Windows Firewall Disabled, it still may be blocking ports.
To turn it off completly, navigate to: Start>Control Panel>Windows Firewall>Advanced> and uncheck all of the checkmarks in the boxes in the first box.
Give that a try.
Are you running any other software firewalls? That could be blocking it as well.

I am not sure...but have you heard that NS 6/Mozilla are use based on standards. So they dod not support some of the proprietary JS/CSS/Misc functionality of IE or NS 4.0+ versions. It is 2015 and iTunes still wants to tell me what to listen to. This problem still persists. The only solution I have found is to select "Manual ..." and pick one by one the items to sync.
When I select items to sync by artist or genre they do copy to the device. Then iTunes continues randomly selecting music until the device is full. When I want to load the Nano for a road trip I don't want 20% of the tracks to be Chakra meditation. When little Nano is docked on the nightstand alarm clock I DON'T want to hear Motorhead, Ministry, etc.
For all the effort aPple puts into seamless integration and ease of use ... Why the heck is it so hard to say NO? Sync these tracks and NOT those. Stop asking me to log in to your cloud service BTW. I do not want it.

Try:
- Reset the dock
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
Otherwise you are out of luck. Apple is not making any more update for the 4G.
Also check with Phillips. Maybe they have an firmware update available

Hello - I have an Ipod touch and the sound was working with no problem, but now I can hear the music but not the actucal singing. I have read that it might be the playback speed, but I do not see an option to change that. please help!

You either need WiFi or Cellular (or both). If you have neither, you can't connect to the internet.
Most people use WiFi at home and Cellular while away from home, or connect to public WiFi networks where there are some.

Medical app from Intuit works in IE, but not Firefox.

Encrypted medical app works in new IE, but not Firefox. Everything works down to the end, and click on "continue" and nothing happens. A tech and I have spent hours on this. Did not work on FF5 or 6. Did not work on old IE, but did on fresh new version with no data files copied in.

To start, page is missing DOCTYPE declaration... a MAJOR problem. The DOCTYPE declares which set of rules the browser will use to display the page. Without it, different browsers go crazy or do not work at all.

Spry menubar works in IE, but not Firefox

I added a very simple Spry horizontal menubar to the top of all pages in my web (I'm using DWCS4 and Spry 1.6). When I preview it in Firefox locally, it seems to work, but when it is uploaded to the web server it works in IE, but not in Firefox. Instead of a menubar, I see a stack of bulleted hyperlinks. In IE, it displays properly.

I just tested your site with firefox (latest version) and it works just fine. I also tested it in IE: 7.0 and it worked fine for that too. Looks like you have either fixed the problem or you have a different version of firefox than me or something.
