Ajax Framework not displayed in 7.3

Hi,
I'm testing the new Portal with Netweaver 7.3 - SP004.
I've tried to use the Ajax Framework, but after the Login the Framework is not displayed.
You can only see a background and the SAP Logo in the top left corner without any buttons or anything else.
I tried to type in this URL
(http://<host>:<port>/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.portal.navigation.afp.setup.AFPEnabler)
to activate the framework , but than the following Error Message appears :
Portal-Runtime-Fehler
Ausnahme bei der Verarbeitung des Requests; senden Sie die ID der Ausnahme an Ihren Portaladministrator
Ausnahme-ID 11:34_14/02/12_0023_7745551

thank you very much for your fast reply.
The 7.3 was created by an upgrade.
My own user is defined as a administrator. With that user I get the "Content-", "User-" and "System Administration" if I log in about the following Desktop rule:
IF User = beckalex
THEN Portal Desktop = pcd:portal_content/every_user/general/defaultDesktop
So I defined the following Desktop rule to test the Ajax Framework with my own (admin) user:
IF User = beckalex
THEN Portal Desktop = pcd:portal_content/every_user/general/defaultAjaxframeworkContent/com.sap.portal.afpDesktop
If I add this rule to the Master Rule Collection, I just get a Splash Screen. After the Splash Screen an empty background appears with a thick border, the SAP Logo in the top left corner and a search function in the top right corner (search is not working).
Is it still possible there are missing roles, although I got the Administration Content with the default Desktop? Or do you got any other ideas?

Firefox will not display a complete page only framework w/o background. have reloaded 3X still junk.

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed the maximum file size (1 MB).
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

If images are missing then check that you aren't blocking images from some domains.

Ajax framework : how to remove the Trex search field ?

I am trying to remove the TRex search field in an ajax framework. As for the "normal" framework I make not visible the tool page, even in the headerless framework, but it is still displaying...
Has someone ever face this problem ?

I am not sure if i got your question currectly
In general on the Ajax Framework page there is the masthead iview
On the masthead iview there is a property "Enable Search" that allows you to enable and disable the search box in the page.
Please try to use it
There is now search box of the framewrok in headerless window
the search box is probably part of the application.

Crystal Report not displaying in production server

I am using crystal report with ASP.Net web application which is working fine on client machine, client machine configuration is: •Windows 7 64bit •Visual studio 2012 •.Net framework 4.5 •SAP Crystal Reports, version 13.0.2000.0 I need to deploy it on Windows Server 2008 machine; however, when I deploy web application on this machine Crystal Report opens when do not display data. Kindly help to get around with this issue. Thank you in advance

Firefox 3.6.6 Not Displaying Gmail Contacts & Calendar and at least 1 other website correctly after using Microsoft Windows Easy Transfer

In migrating from an XP PC to a new Win 7 PC, I downloaded Firefox to the new PC and it worked fine - got my Gmail contacts, calendar, etc. Later I used Micros Soft's Windows Easy Transfer to move data, profiles, etc to the new PC. Then could log onto Gmail but it would not show Contacts or Calendar. I then uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it - nohelp, then I did a system to Restore to before I did the Windows Easy Transfer - no help, then I manually moved my Firefox Profile from the XP machine - no help. BTW at least one other website does not display correctly: http://www.hollandamerica.com/main/Main.action. NOTE - through all this Internet Explorer has shown these sites correctly.

Oops - for some reason, this problem now seems to have gone away. May have had something to do with Flash. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Korean font not displaying correctly. Internationalization Issue

I'm not sure if this is an internationalization issue but I have an Adobe Air project that isn't displaying Korean correctly. I basically have created a MovieClip in Flash CC with a textfield child. When this movieclip is instanced in Air, it's text is dynamically assigned from a web service. The font used works fine except for Korean so we had to switch fonts when using Korean text. This is where things get interesting. If I try to programmatically change the textformat.font to use the Korean font, the font switches but just the Korean characters aren't supported. However if I set the textfield's font to the Korean one in Flash CC, everything displays fine. The font is embedding the same in both instances and is including 'All' characters.
I'm not sure if this is a bug or if I have to add a flag for Korean support somewheres in the build settings. I've created work around for now which has two textfields, one with the font we need and one for korean only. As the data from the webservice is parsed it detects for Korean characters in the string and if it finds them it makes sure the Korean textfield is used. Kind of a dirty way to do it but it doesn't seem to like changing the font family around.
Anyone else notice this?

It's the latest AIR 15 SDK with the Flex framework.swc and framework_fb.swf added for binding support
I overwrote the code since it was only a couple lines but here's what I was doing for the way that broke

The font changes because english characters showed up, however even though I click embed all fonts, korean characters do not display. I have to set the font on the textfield using the Flash CC tools and it works fine.

Greek language not displaying in jsp page

My application is based on struts framework...
we doing in multilanguage.
When i select greek the followingis displayed:

even i've did the pageEncoding code in jsp page...
i dont know why it is not displaying but i maintaining properties files for greek language. so, when i call the greek language, the greek properties file was located and display the content... But for other languages like dutch, portuguese, spanish is working fine...I keep the resource properties file in the same place where other language files placed.
Is there any more changes i want to do...
I call this greek lang. externally but should this related to database(SQL Server 2000).

Dreamweaver images not displaying

Hi,
I have a site that is not displaying images. I have a blank box in the middle of the page that is supposed to display three images every few seconds. I have looked at the code and cannot see that issue.

Ajax Framework Navigation Detection

Hi
We are currently adapting a component to work with every framework on the portal.
This component has to detect navigation(and respective node) and then do a amount of actions on pre-defined services with Java Code.
The problem is as far as i can understand the Ajax framework uses client Side Events to navigate(using LAPSI javascript) and the navigation_helper_service .getCurrentSelectedNode does not work.
How can i track the last navigation made in this Framework?

IR column Header value not displayed entirely during filteration

I have a IR, when I click any column Header and it shows the list of values as a dropdown.
some of them (which are larger) get cut off.. means the the entire content/value are not displayed within the dropdown. [width of dropdown is fixed and no of characters in the content/value is more..]
how can we fix this?
Also.. is there any we can increase the width of the Select List window when we click any column header in IR.

Hi,
jQuery is not included to Apex 3.2 by default.
If you have not include jQuery library's to e.g. your page template or page header, then it is not "installed".
You can run your app and inspect HTML source to be sure.
You can download jQuery and jQuery UI and place files to your HTTP server folder. Then load those in e.g. page template header.
Or use jQuery files from Google by placing to page template header.

As an FYI: Adobe discontinued developing the Spry framework last year. And Spry was removed from DW CC. You can keep using Spry if you wish, but most of us have switched to other solutions that work better in IE10 and Touch Screens.

Navigation Bar Not Displaying in Opera10

Hello again,
There seems to be an issue with the navigation container in my website, and it is not displaying at all in Opera10. It displays fine and visible in every other browser. I thought maybe Opera 10 requires some extra position settings, and the navigation bar is at the very top of the page behind the header. So I tried to put a z-index value on the container, to see whether or not it is behind the header, and in fact, I still could not see it.
My website has a header image at the very top of the browser, with a horizontal spry drop down menu right underneath it.
Does anybody have any ideas? I am not sure which details to provide with this question, however I can give any details upon request.

I have just read the "new to spry forums?" quick info, and I realized that I only have the version 1.4 framework. I will upgrade to 1.6.1 immediately, and the issue could be possibly resolved.

APEX - New Installation - Pages not displaying correctly

I installed APEX 3.0.1 on my XP machine, which also has Oracle Enterprise 10.2.0.1 installed. I checked the installation log - no errors.
I performed the following to get it working via the Embedded PL/SQL Gateway:

dbms_epg.set_dad_attribute('APEX','document-path','docs');
dbms_epg.set_dad_attribute('APEX','nls-language','american_america.al32utf8');
dbms_epg.set_dad_attribute('APEX','document-procedure','wwv_flow_file_mgr.process_download');
dbms_epg.set_dad_attribute('APEX','request-validation-function','wwv_flow_epg_include_modules.authorize');

However, when I go to the login page, the images are not displayed and when I try to use some of the other links, I repeatedly get prompted for a password for XDB.
The page error is:

Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Hi Joseph,
the installation instruction isn't really clear on that, but "Embedded PL/SQL Gateway" is not supported for pre-11g databases. See http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/database/application_express/html/3.0_fsps.html#08
