I woke up this morning on my own 19 minutes late because my alarm didn't go off! I RELY on that thing to get me up in the morning! When I checked it, it was going off in silent mode but the volume was all the way up and there were no headphones connected... I always make sure that the volume is up on everything, being that every app has it's own volume setting now >:(, every night before I go to bed...

I'm trying to delete my bulk mail and it's loading only so many at a time. One loading period will pull up maybe nine and the second loading period will load up five. And sometimes, when I highlight mail to delete them, they disappear before I even click delete...
TextFree With Voice:
I am getting told by a few people that I'm not answering their calls, but it's not my fault being that it's not notifying me that someone is calling nor does it show up in my recent calls (missed calls) until maybe 30 minutes AFTER they call... In fact, it's STILL not showing me a certain recent call and I know for a fact that this person called me because it's the only number I gave them...
Oh and in addition to these problems (would have went to a different forum for this but it took me 5 minutes to even get this far)... Does anyone else have a problem with their iPod Touch 4G home button? Ever since I've gotten it, it seems like I have to press and hold or just press harder than any recent iPod Touch generation would require...

Well it could be a firmware issue with the router.. Try updating the router with a latest firmware from the cisco website.
And also try using the iPhone 4 with any other network like (Hotspot or Cafe) and see if the voice does work over there or not.
Also regarding the E1000 router , Try to change the wireless channel on the router you can try with channel 6 , 9 or 11 and then observe the iPhone connection. It could be an interference issue.

Song as Alarm Clock Tone Stopped Repeating with iOS 8

This is a statement of fact rather than a question since the Feedback page doesn't allow me to submit anything.
Since the update to iOS 8, my selected MP3 as my Alarm Clock tone no longer repeats. It used to repeat in iOS 7 until you manually turned off the alarm or the Snooze. Now it only plays once and shuts off. Then the Alarm dialogue box remains open. I've overslept twice because of this problem.
I would also like to be able to use my own created ringtones as my Alarm. I am able to use them for my Voicemail and other Alerts, but there's no option for that within the Alarm Clock. Only purchased ringtones.

Happened to me, too (first morning after upgrading). One of those reasons I hate to upgrade and always put it off as long as possible...you never know what they're going to f**k up for you. Add my voice to the chorus of dissatisfied alarm clock users. Why DO they mess with stuff like this?!?

Alarm clock problem and question

My son is having problems with the alarm on his iPhone 3G. Sometimes it simply does not go off. He has tried resetting, it didn't help. I searched the forums and noticed that some other people have had the same problem. Perhaps the upcoming software update may help.
In the meantime, here is my question. There are several alarm clock apps in the app store. If he downloads one of those to use, will the battery drain be increased? He has heard that non apple apps like alarm clocks really drink up the battery life.
Any hints, clarifications, etc. greatly appreciated.

I'm in Iraq and I use my alarm daily, to wake me up. I haven't had a problem, until I updated my phone to the 3.0 version software. I'm going to try to email support to see if there is a fix coming out; and if not, to notify them of the problem. I suggest anyone with this problem, do the same.

Alarm clock problem after Sync with N73

I have a problem with the alarm clock in my N73 (RM-133). From the moment on I had my phone synchronized with Outlook via Nokia PC Suite, the alarm clock fails to start the phone from power-off state - it switches on, and then the software crashes. A working alarm clock can only be restored by formatting the phone with *#7370# and therefore losing all settings and data.
Another thing that can be seen is that, after a Sync, if I set the alarm clock, turn off the phone, immediately turn it on again, the alarm clock is still set to its time, but the alarm symbol (the little bell) is no longer displayed.
I have absolutely no idea what the reason may be. It can not be incompatible installed apps, as the problem also occurs after a total reset without changing any setting in the phone. I have already once changed my hardware on warranty. I am always using the latest (unbranded original Nokia) FW available, same goes for PC Suite. Any ideas?

Oj, just relax and buy another phone, that's exactly what Nokia wants! I did so after 3 times sending back my N73 for various defects (keys, display, camera), then took a E65 for 2 years (which is far better, but not perfect, worked after 1 time exchange with a faulty SIM card reader), now I have a N82 which I had to exchange 6 (six) times for not having several stuck keys, scratches on the display, dust inside the display. This N82 now "only" makes strange noises when pressing keys like double-sided adhesive tape not properly fixed. Nokia knows about that problem (asked today in a shop). They fix it, but can't guarantee it getting better.
So... just sit back, relax, and throw all your expectations about quality from Nokia over board, learn how to be happy for getting some (mostly useless) answer from the support at all, and never think you could get a masterpiece of a working phone from Nokia if you pay them 'only' 400 bucks.

You know what's AWESOME????? I ran tech tools, then wondered why I got a kenel panic instead of a restart... over and over. So i searched on here and found out that my applecare techtools in NOT Tiger friendly???!!! AAAAHHH! When you "fix" the volume structure, it mean "fix" like tony soprano means it.
I'm on the phone with applecare right now, but it looks like i got rid of my cockroach problem by burning the house down.

IMAP Mail and syncing with Server

So I would like to convert from POP mail to IMAP. I have created a new account in Mail and so far I have been able to receive emails no problem. The issue is that sent emails are not being saved and I cannot save drafts. I can send emails fine but I do not have any copies of them. It seems as though mail is having trouble communicating with my server. The option to save sent and drafts IS selected. After speaking to my hosting provider, the issue seemed to be in the PORT on the Advanced tab. It was set by deafult to 143. they suggested I change the port to 110 which is what they support. When I do that and then subsequently send an email, I get a SENT EMAIL folder under the SENT folder in MAIL. Same with drafts and I am able to send emails, but NOW I can;t receive them. They are being delivered to my server as I checked throught my web portal, but Mail wont bring them down.
the whole reason I am switching to IMAP is so that I can sink RECIEVED, SENT and DRAFT emails between my two computers.
Any ideas please?

Well, if you did that, then it should be no surprise that you cannot receive mail now. Change the port back to 143, which is what should be used for an IMAP account. Port 110 is for POP.
After changing the port back to 143, which mailboxes related to the IMAP account do you see in Mail? Where/how do you see them? Do you see a Sent Messages and/or a Drafts mailbox with a generic folder icon (i.e. other than the standard Sent and Drafts mailboxes) anywhere in the mailboxes list in Mail? Do mailboxes on the server appear as subfolders of the account's Inbox?

Is it safe for iPhone to run alarm clock app and be on all night, every night?

Is it safe for the screen to be on all night every night running an alarm clock app? Yes it is plugged in and charging.

I use the builtin alarm clock app all the time without any problems.
I don't plug the iPhone in because it appears to use very little battery while it is sleeping.

My macbook air is updated but now I can't download updates for My Alarm Clock, apps and iTunes.

My Mac will try to download the app to 100%, but then it tell me that it is unable to download. I have tried to turn off the firewall and restart. My itunes will not update My Alarm Clock or anything else.

Tap the App Store icon then tap Updates at the bottom of the display.
For your Mac...
- Temporarily disable anti virus software if installed.
- Apps such as Little Snitch, Net Nanny, and Hands Off can prevent apps from downloading including Mountain Lion.
Quit the App Store if it's open.
Now open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder

Click Go then move the Cache.db file from the com.apple.appstore folder to the Trash.

Any indicators for 3rd party Radio alarm clock docks and iPhone 5?

Has Apple created any guidelines for the iPhone 5 when using an older radio alarm clock dock, using the lightning to 30 pin adapter ? My iPad is no problem, but my iPhone 5 (when I have it in hand) might be. Any ideas?

HT4623 I have recently updated my software to iOS 7.1 and I have found that my alarm clock still works but with no sound! All other sounds working, txts, ringtone, music etc.. Have tried turning it on and off, volume, and the do not disturb is off, help..

So i created an new adobe account and wanted to login with this account into creative cloud. but everytime i am in creative cloud i only can accpet and verify the old email, i can't do something else. i uninstall creative cloud and install it again from the new accout, but everytime i only can verify the old email. Could anybody help me and say how i can register with my new email , so that i can verify with my new email?

Viewing HTML e-mail and problems with = (equal sign)

I am having problems with apple mail rendinering html e-mail messages. There are extra = in the message body. The = appears to be line continuation character in the HTML. I have no problems viewing the message in Thunderbird or Entorage, but Mac Mail is a problem. The = appears to be displayed as a literal rather than part of the html reconstruction. Any thoughts as how to resolve this issue?

Looks like there is a common theme there. It is probably just that the original message has been corrupted somehow. Some mail clients try harder to understand corrupted data than others. I can't really tell from your original post. With mail messages, you really need to have the original data, not copied and pasted and not forwarded. If you have such a mail message, save it as raw source, put it into a zip file, and e-mail it to me. I can tell if it is an Apple Mail problem or a MS problem. HT3576 Can you get sound notifications for mail and iMessage with the new iPad. Under general sounds I have a sound selected for both of those. My volume is turned all the way up but I still don't get sound notifications with these apps. Suggestions?

I have sound turned on under general> sounds. The volume is all the way up and I can hear it when i adjust it. However under notifications sound is not an option for mail or iMessage. Just badges and alerts. Both of which are on. I would really like to hear my notifications. Any suggestions.

last days I got an email that my Creative Cloud subscription has been reactivated. I have this subscription not terminated or disabled. Shortly later my payment was confirmed.
When I now open Photoshop CC 2014, I get the message that there would be problems with the payment, and I can change it in my Adobe account.
