Alarm Clock won't go off if you have a waiting alert

On my Pre the alarm clock will not go off if I have a waiting waiting Calendar reminder. This has happened three times this week. I have calendar reminders for tasks that day and if they are waiting for me to acknowledge them the alarm clock will not sound. Has anyone else had this issue?

As minor as it seems, I can't wait for the clock/alarm to be upgraded. I use it all the time and this one leaves a bit to be desired. I hope one of those small 3rd developers is working on one right now It my biggest disappointment (well that and visual voicemail).

I have the same problem. The iPod is only a week old and the alarm worked on 30th of December, but today (1st of January) it has refused to work.
I've tried restarting the iPod, force quitting the clock, changing time zone and I've even tried setting an hour ahead & behind, in case the problem was connected with the daylight savings setting on my Mac.
The alarm won't work and I'm stumped!

Try to reset:
Hold the Sleep/Wake & home buttons until the screen goes dark & the Apple logo appears
To power off:
Hold the Sleep\Wake button until you see slide to power off then slide to power off

Perform a Reset...
Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
Release the Buttons...

i mean that after i use my phone it won't go to a black screen after a few minutes...i guess maybe its called to 'sleep' but the screen stays bright...the light doesnt dim.

When loading video or tv shows it is taking as long as 14 hours plus - if I leave the loading screen it doesn't continue to load? So you have to wait without leaving the screen for 14 hours?

Am I doing something wrong here? If anyone has advice - I would greatly appreciate it. This is the first apple product that I am disappointed with

Do you have to wait for FCPX to Render 100% before sending to Compresssor?
I don't quite understand how the process works. Is FCPX rendering the footage for me to see in the viewer or is it rendering the final output as well? I had always assumed compressor did the final rendering.

Your timeline needs to be rendered prior to compressor being able to encode your vision.
There are two processes here
1. Rendering, creating an effect, movement or some other piece of vision that requires rendering to provide playback at 100% of the project/time line specifications.
2. Encoding, converting your project/timeline from the editing codec, to a format suitable for delivery, eg, ProRes 422, to a web/DVD/iPhone friendly codec, eg h.264, mpg2 etc.

That is a good place to keep all your Apple equipment's information.
If the seller already registered it have him un-register it. No one else can.

IPhone alarm clock fails when volume off

I set my alarm to wake me up this morning. It went off, but made no sound. I'd turned my iTunes volume low.
Surely it makes sense for the alarm clock to, by default, make a sound?

Not sure if you figured this out yet, but on my iPhone 3gs, I am able to turn the system volume all the way up (using the physical buttons on the left side), then turn my music on in the iPod app, lowering the volume using the iPod volume controls. Even when volume is set all the way down in the iPod app, I still hear the alarm as loud as my system volume was last set. Try it out, hopefully it works for you too.

Alarm clock on iPad turns off when I open cover:

Recently (the last 2 weeks) when I have an alarm on my iPad set to go off in the morning, this is what happens: I hear the alarm going off. I open the cover to hit snooze. In the past, when I opened the cover, I had the option of hitting snooze or ok. (Ok to turn off alarm clock alarm.). The odd thing that's been happening now is, when the alarm goes off, the minute I open the cover, the alarm stops. I can't hit snooze or OK, because opening the cover is triggering the alarm to turn off. I haven't changed any settings. No one else uses my iPad 2. It's not happening every day, just randomly. IPod 4-upgraded to ios 6.1 and now voiceover won't shut off and I have to triple click everything which has eliminated scrolling and swiping as options

Last night my daughter downloaded the ios 6.1 upgrade to her ipod touch 4th gen. It automatically went into "Voiceover" mode and to select anything you have to "triple-click" it. WE turned both things off but they don't turn off. Also cannot swipe or scroll due to the triple click issue. HELP!

Triple click the home button and try going to Settings>General>Accessibility and turn VoiceOver off. You may have to use three fingers to scroll the screen to get there. If problems see:

Hopefully your MacBook Air is stilll in warranty or you have Applecare? If these problems are persisting after the MBA has had time to dry out thoroughly you need to make a complete backup and then get an appointment to take it to the Genius Desk at the nearest Apple Store or an Apple Certified Repair facility. I would not risk further damage by continuing to attempt to use it.

New Mac book pro won't move off 'thank you screen'

Hi All,
Transfered files from old mac to new mac during first start-up, this went ok, but after clicking 'start using your mac' the wheel has been spinning for a number of hours without moving on!
It won't do anything and is stuck on this screen!

- if there is lint in the head phone jack that will cause the phone to think headphones are in there, use compressed air to blow out the jack, if the problem persists, then call 800.my.apple and if the phone is under warrenty they can help you.

HT5037 It all started when I couldn't order a Photo Book ... then I had to download Mavericks ... then the i-photo update ... How long DO you have to wait before you know if you actually have downloaded this?

It all started when I could not order a Photo Book ... then I had to download Mavericks ... then I tried to upgrade i-photo ... but it would not take my debit card ... so I had to find a credit card ... then it would download, but it took hours and did not confirm that it had downloaded ... which it hadn't because I still can't order a photo pbook ... then it would download ( but I suspect I may have had to pay for it twice ) .... and now i-photo won't open because it says I need the Library Upgrader ... and it too seems to have stopped halfway through downloading.
I JUST WANT TO ORDER A PHOTO BOOK. I HAVE THE MONEY. WHY ALL THE PROBLEMS? WHY, OH WHY, OH WHY?

Perhaps, as your problem seems to be with the App Store, you need to post on that forum or contact App Store support - there's a link on the right hand side of the App Store window.
A small tip: explaining your problem clearly is best. Wrapping it all up in idiosyncratic punctuation and histrionics doesn't make it any easier to understand, and gets in the way of solving your problem.
