Alarms not shown on agent details panel
Hi all,
we are conducting experiences with SMC in our environment, and encountered a strange problem. The agent is up and running on a specific client, and we trigger an alarm on the client (e.g.: setlocator on).
The alarm properly appears in the panel "Domain Status Details", but when I select the alarm and click on details a new panel opens with the name "hostname Details", and on the alarm tab, but no alarm is shown there.... So I can't acknowledge the alarm, and also the action, defined in the attribute editor, is not executed.
To complicate things this happens on some clients, but on other clients this works fine.
The SMC server is a T2k with Sol10, SMC 4.0, the clients are t2ks, v440s, v240s with SMC4.0 AddOnV5 and patch 12768x-04, sol9 and sol10.
Any one any idea how can we solve this, what can be the problem? If you need any additional info, then please tell me, I'll provide it.
Many thx in advance!
Zoltan

HT1977 Why are Apps not shown in left hand panel in itunes when my ipad or iphone is synced
I recovered my hard drive from backup in windows vista and reinstalled itunes. When I sync my ipad of iphone and select apps, the screen layout is shown in the right hand panel but the apps do no show up in the left panel. Before the recovery operation the apps were found in the left panel categorised as iphone and ipad.
Now I cannot temprarily delete apps in case they are permanently deleted.Great help - am running iTunes 12 and the last tip worked great .. Ta.. .. But......
I have now downloaded all my purchases from iPad into my 13" MacBook Air and its taken nearly 2G of disk space (which on the wee Air is a big problem !). I guess its transferred lots of files but apps like Adobe Draw and Sketch which I suspect have some big files do not show up down the page under the App > Files section in iTunes and many other apps are missing from here.
How can I find and delete all the files that have been sucked into my MB Air after restoring purchases. I have not chosen to backup my iPad to the Air, but who knows what iTunes has decided to do -
RAISEERROR not shown in Agent Job Log File Viewer
I use a RAISEERROR for a critical error in a CATCH. When the Job is run, it does fail but it gives the following message. How do i get my @Note to show in the Log File Viewer? Also, where is the log referenced 'WITH LOG'. I looked at the SQL Server Agent

Can't change parameters that are not shown on initial parameter panel
I have a Crystal Report that is based on an Oracle Stored Procedure. This was created using Crystal Reports 2008, and it is published on a Business Objects 3.1 environment.
There are actually 7 parameters in the stored procedure, of which only 2 require the user to select. When the report is opened the user is asked for a date and a type to be evaluated. The report opens for a specific location, and the data associated is returned. When the WebElements submit button is hit it passes these 3 pieces of information, along with original information, new information, reason and user passing information. All of this is functioning.
The issue is when I publish the report. I set the location and do not pass it along. What I need is for the information the user does not enter to not appear on the input parameters in InfoView. I tried setting them as nulls initially, and not showing them on the parameter panel. Once these were set I was not able to change them on the second pass (with use of the submit button). Next I set them to specific values which the stored procedure looks for. That way I set them on the CMC and do not pass them. Once again this locks the parameters and I can not change them on second pass of the report. If I show the parameters and populate them on first pass, they can be changed on second pass.
Is there a setting in Crystal Reports I need to set to allow the parameters to not show on the startup parameter panel and yet still be changed?
ThanksHello Scott,
I recommend to post this query to the [BusinessObjects Enterprise Administration|BI Platform; forum.
This forum is dedicated to topics related to administration and configuration of BusinessObjects Enterprise, BusinessObjects Edge, and Crystal Reports Server.
It is monitored by qualified technicians and you will get a faster response there.
Also, all BOE Administration queries remain in one place and thus can be easily searched in one place.
Best regards,

Timeout problem - record is not shown properly in detail page after timeout
Hi,
I am using JDeveloper 10.1.3.1.0.3984
and JHeadstart 10.1.3.1 Release 10.1.3.1.26
I have a Master View Object where there is a field ID (for example M_VO).
There is a page associated with M_VO (Page_M_VO.jspx)
There is a Detail View Object (for example D_VO)
There is a page associated with D_VO (Page_D_VO.jspx)
There is a link from M_VO to D_VO using the field ID.
When I open the page Page_M_VO.jspx and select an ID and go to the detail page Page_D_VO.jspx, it goes to the detail page Page_D_VO.jspx. It works fine.
But the problem is:
If for example I have three ID (111, 222, 333), in master page if I select 222 and go to detail page it shows the appropriate records for 222 as I selected 222 in master page. If I keep the detail page open for more than the timeout minutes specified in web.xml and then try to access the detail page again it ask for userid and password (which is fine). If I put userid and password, then it shows the detail page with the first record which is the record associated with the ID 111. But before timeout I was working with the ID 222, so it should show the record associated with ID 222 as I was working with ID 222 before timeout.
Can anybody help me to solve this problem?
Thanks
Syed Jabbar
University of Windsor
Windsor, ON, CanadaI would put my money on the fact that since your application is timing out, it is dropping any state that your View Objects otherwise had before the application timeout.
So upon reauthorizing and reaccessing the application (and going directly to the detail page) the View Object is reinstantiated and only knows to go to its default data set which is 111.
If my assumption is correct, I don't think you could really implement this without a lot of trouble. -
Total records not shown in bottom panel
Hi all,
I am running Forms 10g. When my forms runs, the total record count does not shown in the bottom panel but a question mark instead. For example it would show 1/?
Could you tell me why it would do that?
Thank you. This is because forms do not know, how many records will be retrieved from the database.
If you go to the last record, forms will show you how many records are in your block.
You can set the Query All Records block-property to yes to see immediately how many records there,
but if there are a lot of records to fetch, it might results in a long query time. -
Bug in details view: index columns not shown correctly, stops at 4th column
I do have two indices on a table which are shown in the details view. In the column 'columns' only the first 4 columns are shown that belong to the index.
If I choose an index in another detail view, all columns are shown correctly.
Where to report this bug?I just realized this was an issue today.
Once one knows that only 4 columns are shown in the summary and that you have to click on the index name for any index that shows 4 columns to see if there are more, well that extra click is pretty simple and not a big deal.
The problem is BEFORE one knows of this. For weeks, when reviewing some indexes created by others, I was under the wrong impression about some indexes because I thought they only had the 4 columns shown. I didn't know at that time that I had to select the index and look at the detail section.
It wasn't until I just happened to click on one of them and saw more columns listed that I realized there was a bug. And yes, as far as I'm concerned, this is a bug not a feature.
At an absolute minimum, there should be something done so users know they have to look at the details. Perhaps the heading could be changed to "Columns (up to 4)" or the ellipsis or (more) could be added as someone else suggested. Even just an additional comma would help. I can't imagine why it was written to stop at 4 anyway - why does that make any sense?
This is the first time I've come to this forum so I'm not sure how to request an enhancement. I'll read a few other threads and see if I can tell. -
Appointment Details are not shown in Outlook 2013 Calendar Schedule View
In Outlook 2013 Calendar one has got five standard views to view appointments and meetings:
Day, Work Week, Week, Month and Schedule view.
When hovering with the mouse over an appointment the details are shown in Day, Work Week, Week and Month view but
not in Schedule view.
Is there any configuration setting to turn this feature on in Schedule view?
Remarks:
- In Outlook 2010 this problem does not occur.
- Within the scheduling assistant, the details are shown in Outlook 2013 when hovering with the mouse.Hi,
I tested on my Outlook 2013 and got the same result. When hovering over an appointment, the details are shown in Day, Work Week, Week, Month, but it's not shown in Schedule View.
I haven't found such a setting to change this, it seems to be a product limitation so far.

ALTER SESSION SET statistics_level = ALL ;

ESignature details not shown.
Hi All,
Using Jdev11.1.1.6(webcenter and UCM PS5).
Use Case: Admin User will check in agreement(document to UCM) and Client User will accept that agreement. To accept the agreement, user needs to click on accept button which will create ESignature watermark in all the pages of the document.
Issue: On page1, we have Doc viewer taskflow to show the document and a button to accept.
On click of accept button it will navigate to page2 which has doc viewer task flow to show the document along with ESignature details.
But ESignature details are not shown on page2, when we open in seperate browser(either in Firefox or others) ESignature details will be shown.
Even we have tried refreshing the page using F5 as well.
Can you please suggest me a solution.
Thanks,
Raj Gopal KHi,
this question should go to the UCM forum or WebCenter. I don't see a generic ADF problem statement

finder is not showing correct file in cover flow mode. The files shown in the top panel are one file off.
This problem occurs after I move a file or files to trash. If I remove one file, then the sequence is one file off, if I move two files to trash then the sequence istwo file off. For example, if I delete file 1 and highlight (click on) file 3, then the cover flow panel shows file 2, when it should show file 3.

Front panel is not shown completely.
Hi.
I have worked on a project more than three months and last week I was faced with a strange problem. When I switch from 'block diagram' to 'front panel' window it is not shown completely. I had this problem in LabVIEW 8.0 then I removed it completely and installed LabVIEW 8.5 but after two or three days it happened again. I do not think it is related to my laptop because I tested it on three different computers. I deleted all objects in 'block diagram' and 'front panel' windows but the file still has this problem. I attached my file and some images. When I compile and make an executable file it still has the problem. The 'image3.jpg' shows that file. When switch from another window like word to this window it is not shown completely. I do not know what to do.
Thanks a lot.

Flex panel not shown as disabled.
I am creating a flex panel and a C++ plugin for Photoshop CS5 and CS6 on both Win and Mac. My C++ plugin captures events like layer selection change, document view change etc and dispatch events to flex. In flex I register these events and appropriate functions get called. All this works perfectly.
For example, when user selects another layer from Layer Palette of Photoshop my plugin dispatches an event. This event is captured in flex and a method is called. Inside this method i need to disable my panel, do some processing and then again enable my panel. This works fine on Win XP and on Photoshop CS5 but not on Mac and Win 7. And if I do a mouse over on my panel when some processing is going on then my panel is displayed as disable otherwise it is displayed as enabled. I am using the following code:
In C++ the layer selection change event is dispatched. In flex it is captured and a function "LayerChange" is called.
public function LayerChange(event:CSXSEvent):void { this.enabled = false; CursorManager.setBusyCursor(); //do some processing
this.enabled = true; CursorManager.removeBusyCursor(); }
Can someone tell me why the panel is not shown as disabled until and unless mouse moves over the panel?
ThanksPaul,

The Flash Player is single-threaded. So it will not render anything while it is in the middle of a function stack. You need to truigger your updating logic with a Timer in order to see anything rendered.

Hi,
In the case where a sub vi's panel is not shown during execution, does it matter if I include front panel indicators on the sub vi's panel? (these indicators were there for debugging purposes). Is there any performance penalty for this? Thanks! If the frontpanel is not loaded it has no time penalties. But a frontpanel is sometimes loaded because of property nodes!

Distribution patch not shown in control panel
Hello everybody,
I have following question:
After installing a distribution patch it is not shown in the software applet of control panel either as separate product nor as an update to the existing one, even if the "show updates" checkbox is on.
Is a problem of the patch or general problem of LabWindows/CVI 2010?
Regards,
MarekHi,
Some packages don't show their exact version in MAX or in The Windows Control Panel. For example LabVIEW 2010 with the F1 patch (2010F1).
In MAX : Open Max. Look at the software versions.
Some packages show their exact version
One way to view the version :
Please keep in mind the patches are typically released on a per issue basis and the primiary intent is to provide a fix that typically needs immediate attention.
