Exists "GUI" for view this instances of process archiving in Weblogic?
In albpm 5.7 the option is "Launch archiving viewer" in "ADMIN CENTER"

Configuration
I've completed the following steps based on a blog item.
1. created an archive user with the corresponding roles
2. updated the destination DASdefault with the created user -> destination ping = OK
3. created an archive store BPM_ARCH based on unix root folder
4. created home path synchornization with home path /<sisid>/bpm_proc/ and archive store BPM_ARCH
5. start process archiving from manage processes view.
Process Archiving
Manage Process -> Select a process from the table -> Archive button -> Start archiving by using the default settings.

I don't have a specific answer sorry, however I do recall seeing a number of OSS notes around BPM archiving whilst searching for a different issue last year - have you checked on there for anything relevant to your currnet version and SP level? There were quite a few notes if memory serves me well!

BPM 11g support process archive
Hi,
Is BPM 11g suppots process archive?
Can anyone help me on that?
Regards,
Anandh PHi Raj
1. Terminate means you want to End that Process no matter where it is at any instance of time. Say if I have BPM Process with 10 SwimLanes it can be at any of the Lanes with any User. I am taking simple Example with Human Tasks, but you can apply for other component like Timer servces etc.
2. I hope you are aware of 2 things specially for Human Tasks: Action named "Withdraw" and a role named "Process Owner". For any human task, under Actions menu you should See a Withdraw option. You can code your application to capture this output using XOR gateway and if outcome is "WITHDRAW" directly end the process and go to End Node. If you have many places like this, there is easy way instead of running wires eveywhere. Create a simple throw even that goes to End Node. And after each human task check outcome if Withdraw, that that error, which will end the process. I hope you got the point.
b) The reason I mentioned Process Owner is, generally I do NOT give Withdraw control to each User who can work on any Task. If accidentally that User do this action, thats it. The process ENDS and you can never retriive it back. So under .TASK file, I preven Withdraw action to Asssignee and Instead give this action only to OWNER (Process Owner). Process owner is like admin who can pretty much see any tasks and I would give him all the permissions like these Withdraw, Reassing, Suspend etc etc. This gives more controlled power to your application. Anyhow, in bpm workspace, login as process owner and search for any Task aged for long time and jus Withdraw it.
You can do all the above using APIs also as far as you have Withdraw action going to the End Node.
If your requirement is something else, ignore above notes. But still you can think along the above lines, if all you want is to Kill a Running Process anytime.
Thanks

API to retrieve files in process archive
Hi
In the BPEL API there is a method IBpelProcessHandle.getContent that can retrieve the content of a file in the process archive file. Is there an API to retrieve the files that are inside the archive file?Repost

Process/archive query help
i need a little help with a query. i have create below a simple example of what im trying to acheive.
i have a process table which i need to query, i then save to the archive table in another program, but then the next time i read from the archive table also.
CREATE TABLE "PROCESS"
( "JOB_NO" NUMBER(6,0),
"OP_NO" NUMBER(2,0),
CONSTRAINT "PK_PROCESS" PRIMARY KEY ("JOB_NO", "OP_NO"))
Insert into PROCESS (JOB_NO,OP_NO) values (100,10);
Insert into PROCESS (JOB_NO,OP_NO) values (100,20);
Insert into PROCESS (JOB_NO,OP_NO) values (100,30);
Insert into PROCESS (JOB_NO,OP_NO) values (200,10);
Insert into PROCESS (JOB_NO,OP_NO) values (200,20);
CREATE TABLE "ARCHIVE"
( "PLAN_NO" NUMBER(3,0),
"JOB_NO" NUMBER(6,0),
"OP_NO" NUMBER(2,0),
CONSTRAINT "PK_ARCHIVE" PRIMARY KEY ("PLAN_NO", "JOB_NO", "OP_NO"))
Insert into ARCHIVE (PLAN_NO,JOB_NO,OP_NO) values (1,100,10);
Insert into ARCHIVE (PLAN_NO,JOB_NO,OP_NO) values (1,100,20);
Insert into ARCHIVE (PLAN_NO,JOB_NO,OP_NO) values (1,100,30);
Insert into ARCHIVE (PLAN_NO,JOB_NO,OP_NO) values (2,100,10);
Insert into ARCHIVE (PLAN_NO,JOB_NO,OP_NO) values (2,100,20);
Query needs to return the following records.
2 100 10
2 100 20
1 100 30
null 200 10
null 200 20
although im not sure as yet whether i need the 3rd record or not. (sorry)
i know this seems very simple, but i cant seem to get my head round it...
i currently have this but its EXTREMELY SLOW (140mins)when i incorporate the 'OR PLAN_NO IS NULL' line. The number of records in ARCHIVE is about 2,000,000. without the line "OR PLAN_NO IS NULL" the query takes 3 seconds.
SELECT ARCHIVE.PLAN_NO,
PROCESS.JOB_NO,
PROCESS.OP_NO

AND ARCHIVE.JOB_NO(+) = PROCESS.JOB_NO
AND ARCHIVE.OP_NO(+) = PROCESS.OP_NO
ORDER BY ARCHIVE.JOB_NO,
ARCHIVE.OP_NO
thanks in advance all...SQL> select a.plan_no,p.job_no, p.op_no

ALBPM Workspace - Process Administrator
My ALBPM workspace through the Process Administrator i.e. the ALBPM Server is not opening..But it works through studio...What could be the possible reason? Anyone?
I give the URL as http://localhost:8686/workspace
The Process Administrator Console is running at http://localhost:8686/webconosle
The engine is running
The project is deployed..
The project runs via. the Weblogic Portal but does not through ALBPM Server workspace..
Why is that so?
Anyone?As you are using the ALBPM Enterprise for Weblogic, all the ears will be deployed on weblogic. Check if all the ears are deployed properly and all of them are up and running in the weblogic console.
You need to open the follwoing link to get the workspace.
[http://|http:///]<hostname>:<port>/workspaceadmin
hostname: is the machine name where weblogic is deployed.
port: number on which the weblogic server is running.
ex:
[http://localhost:7001/workspaceadmin]
Thanks. -
Invoking ALBPM published process
Hi,
I am presently trying to invoke an ALBPM processes using Web Services. I am able to get it work fine in Studio. However, When I publish it to Enterprise I lose track of the WSDL endpoint ? I am presently using "Process Execution" option to generate the web service and it has no global activities.
Could somebody let me know how to trigger this process once it is published onto Enterprise ? i am using Oracle Weblogic Server as my J2EE engine.
Regards,
RudrakshHi,
You can find the answer at post: Process exposed as a web service does not work when deployed
Hope this helps,

Error with ALBPM 10g / JAX-WS and WebLogic 10g
Folks/People/Community:
I have an application client running over weblogic 10g. This application needs to be integrated with an external WebServices running under ALBPM 10g and implemented using jax-ws.
So far our application client running in standalone mode outside the weblogic server works without problems. But, running inside WebLogic 10g the application cannot establish connection with this external webservice and the exception is attached here. Also I'm sending our client source code.
Please, do you know if WebLogic 10g requires special configurations in order to enable this type of communication?. We have other applications already integrated with other WebService providers without problems so far today. Only this interface is failing and honestly I don't know what is the problem.
Thanks a lot in advance for your help!.
Gabriel.

Deploying Enterprise Archive into weblogic 10.3.4.0 application server
Hi All,
I am trying to deploy enterprise archive into web-logic application server. This ear contains two modules. web service module and web application module.
This application was previously running on Apache tomcat server and now i am migrating to web-logic application server.
I am getting following error when deploying to the web-logic application server. Below exception.
For web service and web application, I am using Hibernate and Spring frameworks. Following are the dependencies of web service

Form processing error in weblogic
Hi all
'm having this really strange problem in weblogic. I've developed a small portlet for a propritery portal. The portal is an web application and runs on a j2ee servlet engine. On my development machine im using tomcat as the servlet container. On the deployment server the portal in which the portlet is going to be deployed is running on weblogic.
So my problem is that on one of the jsp's in the portlet i have a form of type enctype="multipart/form-data" for uploading files to the server. On tomcat the form processing works fine (im using the MultiPartParser class from com.oreily package). But when I deploy the portlet in weblogic enviroment I get an exception when trying to process the abovementioned form.

How can I get composite processing time through Weblogic System MBean
Hi All,
Can anybody please tell me where to find SCA Composite processing time under 'System MBean Browser' properties?
We have a requirement to access composite instance processing time from Oracle Weblogic MBean through java.
Please note, component wise statistics can be found in +'oracle.dms'+ package under 'Application Defined MBean'. Also +'oracle.soa.config'+ & +'oracle.mds.lcm'+ packages under 'Application Defined MBean' doesn't provide details composite wise.You need LineIn. Scroll down on:

How to increase JVM Process size for WebLogic running SOA Applications.
Hi,
I believe 32 Bit OS can address up to 4GB memory so theoretically 32 Bit JVM can use 4GB but practical convention is 2GB as other 2GB is used by OS itself and also this default JVM Process size is set somewhere and I also believe that if JVM is 32 bit on 64Bit OS even though JVM will run on 32Bit Virtual Machine so JVM does not know that it is 64Bit OS in that case again it can use max Process default size up to 2GB.
And for 64Bit JVM, I can allocate more than 4GB depend on my available RAM size to Xmx, MaxPermSize parameters in java.exe file and after that I can set the same value in “setSOADomainEnv.cmd” or to “setDomainEnv.cmd” file.
But I am 99% sure by just assigning more memory value to Xmx, MaxPermSize in “setSOADomainEnv.cmd” file only won’t work (not setting Xmx in java.exe), if it would have worked then in my case when I was assigning 1536 to Xmx in “setSOADomainEnv.cmd” file then why it was showing out of memory error. I think that is because it was only taking default 2GB for my 32 Bit JVM not considering 3GB or 4GB. So i think i have to change default memory size what JVM can use (<http://www.wikihow.com/Increase-Java-Memory-in-Windows-7> but i am using windows 8 so for that I don’t know the option to change this default Process Size)
I also believe that first JVM start and before start it check how much memory it can use from it’s own –Xmx parameter in some ware configuration or java.exe file and after that it allocate that much size of JVM Process Memory in RAM then after it loads Weblogic or Java Applications in its (Heap + Non-heap + Native Area) which are parts of JVM Process memory
I read post on :< http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3143579/how-can-jvm-use-more-than-4gb-of-memory > and < http://alvinalexander.com/blog/post/java/java-xmx-xms-memory-heap-size-control >
All used :
java -Xmx64m -classpath ".:${THE_CLASSPATH}" ${PROGRAM_NAME}
java –Xmx6g //command which will call java/JVM interpreter which will hold –Xmx parameter to set Heap size for JVM
before JVM comes in memory (JVM process memory)
now my question is can I manually open any configuration file or java.exe same like “setSOADomainEnv.cmd” or “setDomainEnv.cmd” (I know since java.exe is exe I can’t open simply but I want similar work around)
so that I don’t need to type java –Xmx6g every time when I run weblogic (and then later I can change weblogic “setDomainEnv.cmd” Xmx and PermSize to more than default size 4GB to 5GB or 6GB in the case of 64Bit OS)
Please correct me if I am wrong in my understanding.
Thanks.These days the VM will detect a "server" machine and set up the memory appropriate for that.
You can create a simple java console application and have it print the memory settings (find the appropriate java class fort that.)
There is of course the possibility that your application is running out of memory because it is doing something wrong and not because the VM doesn't have enough memory. You can force that in a test setup by LOWERING the maximum amount of memory and thus making it more likely that an out of memory exception will occur. -
Archiver Issue| Automatic replication process | Archiver thread blocking
Hi,
Recently, we are facing a strange issue with Archiver auto replication process. Sometime, archiver thread is blocking and auto replication is stalling. We observed this issue after we apply latest OUCM patches downloded from Oracle support site.
As an work around, we are doing UCM restart.
Anybody got this kind off issue? We are following this up with Oracle in parallel. Any help regarding this is highly appreciated.
Gowtham JWhat version/patch set/core update of UCM are you using?
