Album Art Not Appearing in Album View

I have just upgraded to iTunes 10. I have all of my music attached to album artwork. The artwork shows up in Cover Flow, but does not appear in Alum View. I don't know if that is because in some cases I only have one song from an album instead of all of it, or not. I do not know how iTunes is determining valid artwork.
Any help you be appreciated.

The "why" seems to be that that somebody thought that in the old layout albums with only one or two tracks were consuming too much screen area because of the way that artwork followed by album, artist and rating could create large unused areas where details would go. I can't say I've noticed anyone actually complain on these boards about it as a problem but there you are. Personally I find the solution worse, particularly at home where I have a small screen, as the new layout uses much more space horizontally. I also miss the vertical grid lines and user selectable artwork size. All in all an uneccesary attempt to fix something that wasn't broken.

After inserting a new SSI using the insert menu (typical code result: ) the properties bar seems to get stuck .. displaying the ssi code and not allowing me to select other elements on the page to edit properties. A restart of Dreamweaver solves the problem. But boy is this annoying.
All of the includes do display properly when uploaded to the web server and viewed in a browser.
I've searched the forum.. and read any post that seemed even remotely relavant and have not been able to solve the problem.
I would really appreciate your help. I am a web designer and have used Dreamweaver for many, many years.

If Dreamweaver is acting erratically, or if you see a message saying "the following JavaScript error(s) occurred", it's usually a sign of a corrupt cache file. The first thing to try should always be to delete the file cache. If that doesn't work, delete your personal Configuration folder. Full instructions are in Deleting a corrupted cache file.

Stationary credated in Mail does not appear properly when viewed in Outlook, is there around this? Or, can I export (as a PDF) the email drafted in Mail with stationary that does not have the meail info on top of the page . Thanks so much for your help.

No real solution to problem 1, stationary tends to look different depending on the client, as for 2 Mail does not export to pdf but can print to pdf, however you still get the mail headers.

Fcx4 bin clips are not appearing in the viewer after clicking on them.

I have the same issue. I am using apex.oracle.com for some test applications, but for last couple of weeks when I login and click the "Application builder" I could not see my applications there (around 4-5 of them)! It says No applications found.
Neither I have any application groups setup nor do any criteria given in "Application" search field under "Application builder".
The only way I could access some, if not all, of my applications is to pull it from the link under the context box "Recent" (which you can see in the right hand side of the "Application builder" page.)
Any help is greatly appreciated. This issue is not a show stopper as I could still pull out my critical applications from the recent link, but its definitely a worrisome issue.

Heading elements do not appear in design view

Hello,
heading (h1, h2 ...) elements do not appear in design view. anybody know how to fix this?
btw seems like DW gets worse with each successive version.

I really don't have any troubleshooting advice because I can't reproduce the problem and have not seen this problem being raised previously in the forums.
If you have deleted the personal config file and cache and that hasn't helped, it may be time to uninstall and reinstall.
Also double check your computer for any viruses or malware etc.,
Depending on what version you are using then, you may want to run the uninstall scripts to make sure you remove *all* files associated with the software and start from scratch.
If you are having problems with Creative Suite 3, I would suggest using the CS3Clean script: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cs3clean.html
There is a different version for Creative Suite 4: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cs4clean.html.
WARNING: The CS3Clean and CS4Clean scripts remove from your computer EVERYTHING related with the CS3 and CS4 suites, apart from any documents that you have created using Adobe programs. Make sure you have your installation disks and serial numbers available for reinstallation.
If all else fails, then you may need to contact Adobe Technical Support.

Firefox 4 upgrade how do I reset Yahoo toolbar as its does not appear in dropdown VIEW list? Also Norton Internet Security 2011 does not flag up safe/unsafe sites on browser. Help

Just upgraded to Firefox 4. My Yahoo toolbar has disappeared and I can't work out how to reset it as it does not appear in the View drop-down list. Also NIS 2011 no longer flags up safe/unsafe sites when browsing.

For the Yahoo toolbar, make sure you have the latest version that is compatible with Firefox 4, available from https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/yahoo-toolbar
Symantec need to update their Firefox add-ons so that they are compatible with Firefox 4. They have indicated that for Norton 360 they plan to release an update to Norton 360 to support Firefox 4 in early May - http://us.norton.com/support/kb/web_view.jsp?wv_type=public_web&docurl=20100720113635EN&ln=en_US
I do not know about the time scale for updates for other Norton products. Pending the update by Symantec, if you want to use the Norton add-ons you will need to downgrade to Firefox 3.6.
To downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data". If you select that option it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.
You can then install the latest version of Firefox 3.6 available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use your current bookmarks, passwords etc.
To avoid possible problems with downgrading, I recommend going to your profile folder and deleting the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Deleting these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of installed extensions, checking their compatibility, and reset toolbar customizations.

Album Art not appearing on iPhone

For the life of me, I cannot change the songs from "Abbey Road" to appear as that album on my iPhone. By that I mean each individual song will have the album art when played, but in my list of albums, "Abbey Road" will appear blank. That, is, not the blue music note, but actually just white space. It's not a matter of the tracks not having identical info, as they do. I have repeatedly selected them all, got the info and made sure they have the same album title, band name, image for artwork. I have also tried removing the folder from the iTunes music library, then adding it to my library again, variations of this, etc. The files themselves will all look uniform with the album art if I go into Finder, etc. I tried renaming the album with jibberish like "AAAAAAAA" and it will work. Everything will be perfect...track names, artist info, album art....but then the second I go and change the jibberish to the words "Abbey Road," it gives me the white space again on my iPhone.

SOLUTION: After 48 hours, 100% of the artwork is now appearing. If it's in iTunes, it's on the iPhone.
However, there's a few hoops I jumped through to make it all work:
In iTunes, if album art is not showing in the Grid view, buy you know you have album art associated with it, select Get Info on any of the tracks. Magically, the album art appears in Grid view. Repeat for all albums with missing art.
When you're all done with the art, in iTunes, select [store] [update iTunes Match]
Wait 24 hours
It appears that the iPhone processor is not fast enough to display album art quickly with a large library. On my iPhone it takes about 10 seconds to load a full page of artwork in Album view. If you're flipping quickly through your library, expect it to take a while to catch up. It appears that album art is loaded via an Internet connection, because they do not load in Airplane mode. So, it seems that the robustness of this UI depends on your Internet connection.

Cover Flow Album Art Not Appearing

Hi!
I have a large Itunes library and before the 7.3.1 update all of my album art was appearing correctly in both the "Now Playing" box and in cover flow. Since I have installed the 7.3.1 version of iTunes, alot of album art is appearing in the "Now Playing" box but NOT in cover flow. This is only for a select few (40+ albums), and the rest are fine
Can any help me out this with this?

7.3 is broken.
I replaced it with 7.2 and all is well until they fix the problem. This list is full of this problem!

Album art not appearing...

Hi all very new to this, but looks like people are getting some good help here. I was approved by iTunes a few days ago. I am using hipcast for hosting and feedburner for tracking. I think I have done everything correct so far. I have been reading around that sometimes it takes a while for album art to propagate across the apple servers. I wanted to have you guys take a look at my feed and see if that was probably the problem, or if I goofed something up.

Please when you have a query post the URL of your feed, not its contents. For the record, your feed is at

This is the feed which iTunes is using. The Feedburner feed is irrelevant since it has not been submitted to iTunes. If you want to use the Feedburner feed you will have to follow the steps detailed here to point iTunes to it instead of the current one.
The 'podcast image' is correctly referenced in the feed: it can sometimes take several days before it appears in the Store, and even longer before it appears in the Search results. Give it a few more days and it should appear.
However the image referenced in the feed does not appear for subscribers: if you want subscribers to see an image you have to embed it in the actual media file. Please see this page for a detailed explanation.

Album Art not showing in Artists view!

My issue is that the artwork shows in the Albums view but when I switch to Artists view, some dissapear.
Check "Demi Lovato", "Avril Lavigne" and "El Cuarteto de Nos" for reference to my problem.

Why tracks visible in playlist do not appear in songs view ? Missing songs...

Hi all, (please forgive my English)
Versions :
Itunes : 11.0.1 (12) 64bits
Mac OSX : 10.8.2 (Mountain Lion)
I discovered new mp3 do appear in Itunes playlist (recently added songs playlist) but do not appear in the main song list (songs/artist/album views).
As you can see in pictures below, I can find (and play) some songs in the search bar, but I can't find them manually in the main list (song view).
Here are 4 files in finder. The older one was already in Itunes.
Then I drag and drop 3 of them in itunes.
(I'm not using the synchronised mode with Itunes library).
As you can see below, 3 new songs appeared in playlist. Search bar shows 4 songs, everything seems ok.
Then, in artists view, there is only the older one. Meanwhile, idtag is correctly set.
In song view, there is the same problem. As you can see, the list is sorted by artists, and the 3 new files are missing.
I can even play song that is not in this list... (trough search bar).
For example, here is how is defined the mp3 being played (not present in the song list).

ITunes artwork does not appear in fan view

This is very irritating. I am using the touchsmart music app on my brand new IQ522UK to control my iTunes library. Everything is fine except there is no artwork shown in the fan view. All the artwork appears in the normal album view.
Any ides?

I cannot reproduce the problem. Can you please press CTRL + ALT + S and provide the build ID number back to this thread.

Calendar items not appearing in weekly view

I have a number of account on my Z10 including work email. The work email items are not appearing in the weekly view, just on a daily or monthly view.
Any ideas?

Are you able to see these entries under other views within the Calendar? Do the entries display with a lock on them or not at all? Is this account set up on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server with BlackBerry Balance?

All day event not appearing in month view

If I know there is an all day event on a day and I click into it from month view it is there. But for some reason I cannot see any of them from moth view. There is no colored or gray bar indicating an event.
There is one in week view. And if there is a timed event it appears in month view.
In a separate, and puzzling, event I lost all my events. Putting them back in, but not sure if this happened with 1.4 or new Facebook update.

There is an old thread on this issue. Its by design that all day events do not show up in month view and not a bug. Many users (myself included) would like this to change. I suggest using the feedback and feature request page to let them know.

Img Does not appear in Design View

Have an image that I would presume has a simple enough presence in the page...

...and sure enough the image appears as expected at runtime.
But within Dreamweaver Design View it does not appear at all.
Why?
I have multiple other images on this page that all appear within the designer as expected, but not this one.
My main problem right now is that I need a map associated with this image and would really like to use DW's tools to create and position the <area> tags.
Has anyone seen this sort of behavior in DW8 before?

Had created the row w/out <td> cells to carry the top banner (sort of cheating) on spanning the cells i guess ( )
Anyway, re-wrote so that the banner table was independant and did not require span and picked up the data table independantly.
Problem solved and designer picked up the image precisely.

Curious though that the image is dependant on the <td> tag. I would have expected any image called within the page to display in the designer regardless of location in the html.
Oh well, fixed and onto the next challenge.
