Album doesn't show media files on z ultra

Album do not show images and videos which are present in internal storage.... Walkman has same problem also

- Go to Settings -> Apps -> All -> Album -> Clear data and restart your phone.

Quicklook doesn't show PDF files

Quicklook does not show PDF files and Preview doesn't open PDF files. When I select file => open, all PDF files are grey and cannot be selected. In Finder I select a PDF file and press CMD-i. In the information window I select open with Preview, but nothing will changed. PDF files can only be opened with Adobe Acrobat. When I drop a PDF file from finder to safari, the PDF file will be visible in safari. When I select "open in preview" in safari, preview doesn't show the pdf file. I can see an error in the console "CoreSercviceUIAgent Error -60005 creating authorization". qlmanage -r and qlmanage -r chase doesn't help.

Firefox doesn't show jpg files from a web page while other browsers do

I have created a page and uploaded www.nutechequipments.com/equipment.html page doesn't show the jpg files in only firefox everywhere including Dubai. But all the other browsers show the uploaded jpg pictures in perfect manner. In Firefox only the table is loaded with placeholders. It is not a problem with my computer. It is the problem all over the world.

You have backslashes (\: escaped as %5C as seen in Tools > Page Info > Media) in the scr attribute of the images and that doesn't work in Firefox.
You need to change the backslashes to forward slashes

Album doesn't show up on iTunes

A thing which I really like to do is to buy music on iTunes. But the thing is that the newest album I bought doesn't show up in my iTunes media library. I had that problem before and solved it by downloading the newest iTunes available but right now I'm running the newest iTunes (11.0.1 on my MacBook Pro with Mountain Lion), restarted iTunes a bunch of times and rebooted my MBP. It still doesn't show up in my iTunes media library, although I can find it on my Hard Drive and just play the songs with a different program.
In addition it shows up on my iPod and in the media library of my PC. So why doesn't it show up on my MBP and how do I solve that problem?

There is a setting on iPod settings to allow album art on iPod. This needs to be trned on.

Finder doesn't show all files

When I add new photos to iPhoto, they do not appear as a file or item in Finder Documents list. I thought Finder was supposed to show all files and items that you create?

Album doesn't show up after importing a CD

I imported a CD to iTunes, but it doesn't show up in iTunes. The files are however stored on my iMac, but they don't play when I try to doubleclick them in Finder.

It is several days my MacBook Pro is turned on:

and Finder is starting to behave strange...
the first thing I noticed is that it doesn't show anymore the contents of application packages (ie. right click on a .app and click Show Contents, shows an empty finder window, like there were no files, but from Terminal I'm able to see contents).
also some other files are not visible. for instance I just downloaded a file in Safari, but I can't see it in its folder with Finder, but I can see it and open it with Terminal.
before trying a reboot, what could I do to solve this issue?
perhaps restart Finder? but what is the correct way of restarting it? killall Finder (or some signal other than SIGTERM)?

To restart Finder, hold the option key whilst "right-clicking" (or two-fingered tap on a trackpad), on the Finder option in the Dock.
You will see an option to "relaunch". Select it, and Finder will restart.

Finder doesn't show socket files

Hi Community,
if we navigate into a folder by using the Finder (e.g. /private/var/run) the Finder is hiding the socket files but in a Terminal we can see this files without the hidden flag. The Finder Setting 'AppleShowAllFiles TRUE' doesn't change this behavior. But the Finder in Snow Leopard is showing this files. Is there a way to setup the Finder to show this files as well? How does the system hide this files in the Finder?

JDeveloper doesn't show all files in the directory

I think some basic functionalities are missing in JDeveloper, one of these basic functionalities is the importing of files. You can't import existing business components in your project, so you have to put them in a directory physically.
I did it like that and now I'm facing this problem that some file's aren't being shown in the application navigator while I select system navigator, I see that they are in the correct path. I really don't understand why my project doesn't include the files in the application navigator...
Can anyone tell me what's wrong or what to look for?

JFileChooser doesn't show any file!!

I am developing an java application that uses JFileChooser to choose a directory. However, very strange, the JFileChooser opened does not show any file or directory in C: drive nor D: drive. How can that happen? Anyone knows?

Try specifying the default location in addition to the component.

CS4 doesn't show CS4 files to open

Just upgraded from CS3 to CS4. No problem with CS4 defaulting to open my files. The problem I'm having is when I try to open an Indesign file from inside Indesign, only the old CS3 files show up. I've tried adjusting it to show all files, nothing works.
If I explore through windows, I can see the CS4 files in the folder no problem and they open up just fine. Any idea how I can fix this?

First, are you sure you're looking at the correct folder when you use the menu command? Do the files have the correct file extension? Have you tried replacing your preferences?

Downloaded an album, doesn't show on my computer

I just downloaded an album and it seemed to download ok. It shows in my purchase history, but when I click on it, I get an error saying the location doesn't exist. itunes then gives me the option to locate it, but it doesn't come up. I go to my download history to download it again, but it won't let me. This is driving me crazy and I don't know what to do to either locate the file, (I download to an external hard drive), or to download it again. Thanks for the help.

open iTunes, select edit, then go down to preferences and click on it, select Advanced (the last panel on the left) you can see at the top : iTunes Media folder location. You can also see a path to iTunes Media in you PC (or Laptop). Uusally like this :
C:\Users\(Your name)\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media.
Follow that path exactly and you get to iTunes default folder. open it and start search inside this folder. I believe you can see something called (Album Artwork) it should contain your perchased album. If it's not there, then open (iTunes Media) double click on Music folder and you can see all your Music in folders. Your album should be in one of these folders... hopefully this would solve the problem.

Adobe Bridge Doesn't show all files in a folder

I am using a MacPro with 8GB of Ram and 1TB HD running Mountain Lion. I have a network folder that has about 320 GB of files in it. This is spread out between about 255 different Illustrator files. When I view them in Finder, all the files show up. When I view them in Bridge, I can only get 200 to show up. If I click refresh, it goes to a different number. If I repeat, it changes again. This worked on the old Machine but doesn't seem to work on the New one. I'm guessing its a setting but can't seem to find that particular one. Has anyone ran into this? Any ideas?

While Bridge is not assigned for use over a network your problem seems cache related to me. When in a problem folder go to the menu tools / cache / and choose purge cache for folder and see if this helps you.

EExternal hard drive (WD Elements) doesn't show uploaded files on MBP

I have uploaded files onto my WD Elements hard drive (2 TB) but they don't show on my late-2013 Macbook Pro 15" running on Mavericks (version 10.9.4). How can I access them without losing anything?

Make sure the format is ExFAT, because Mac OS X doesn't read NTFS unless you have a utility to read the HDD you have. I own a WD Elements 2TB portable hard drive and I had to format and partition the little thing for my rMBP 13 for storage and Time Machine.

Download window doesn't show downloaded files

Started having this issue a few weeks ago:
When downloading files, the Download pop-up window shows file download progress as it should. However, when download is finished the window clears and nothing shows in Download pop-up window.
When I search for file through Finder it appears and works fine.
I searched and found a related post that doesn't exactly match my issue. http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=11080958
It references Speed Download as the issue which I don't have.
Any suggestions appreciated.

Klaus, thanks for the prompt reply.
I did look at the safari/preferences/general and the 'Remove download list items' is set to 'Manually'. As a test, I changed it to 'When Safari Quits' and downloads still do not appear on the Download pop-up window. When I switched it back to 'Manually' the problem still exists. Any thoughts?

edit: just remembered this issue appeared around when I installed Google Chrome. I've since removed Google Chrome and issue remains.
