Album purchase billing information?

Earlier today while browsing iTunes, I attempted to purchase an album on iTunes with my MacBook pro. When I clicked the button to complete my album, it came up with a message saying something about how my billing information has changed. At the time, I didn't have a credit card to use and verify it with, so I clicked cancel instead. It deducted the money that I had in my account from my iTunes giftcard, and I went from $13.30 to somewhere around $3.00...since then I have re-purchased the album and it downloaded just fine. Is there any way that I could get my money back?

Contact the iTunes Store Customer Service department using the form on their Support page (select the category and subcategory closest to the issue you're reporting) and explain your situation to them.

The credit card in your account for your CC must match to what the CC company has on fike for you

You mean the fees that apple charged to test my credit card information are refundable?
Yes. Again, it's just a hold, not a charge, and your bank will release the hold withing a few days.
It refunds only after I purchase?
No. No purchase is necessary. Again, it's just a hold placed to make sure the card is valid.
If I don't purchase anything just change info will it refunds too?

Is there any way to create another Apple ID while still using billing information and purchases from a previous one?

We have 5 iDevices on one account and I cannot use features like iCloud without mixing information with the rest of my family. We've made due for years, but it's getting very tedious. I would love to have my own ID and password but still be able to be under my parents' billing information. (The more I think about it, the more I begin to doubt the liklihood of the possibility)
At the very least, is there a way I can create a new ID and keep/transfer the purchases (and all other information like contacts, notes, etc.) I've made on the original account without starting over?

Thank you for providing the details of the App Store issue you are experiencing. To be able to purchase or download apps again, you may need to update your billing information. It sounds like you do not want to associate a credit card with your account, so you may be able to select "None" as a billing option in your account settings.

Is there a way of shifting purchases from one account to another with the same billing information, so that I don't lose purchases made by my iPhone when I sync?

The AOL address I was using for my iTunes account has been deleted due to me not signing in for awhile and I'm afraid that I will lose all of my purchases made from my iphone when I sync it into iTunes for a much needed update and so that I can (hopefully) transfer its data to my new iPhone 4...
The only time I have synced my current iPhone was when I activated it but since then I have not been able to sync with my computer and now have a new one.
Sorry about the garbled way this is written but I desperately need help:
1, Is there a way of shifting purchases from one account to another with the same billing information?
Or
2, is there a way of recovering my old account and changing the details?

You don't need to access your e-mail account, just get into your Apple account and change the e-mail address. If you can't access your Apple account, then you have a bigger issue to contend with.

You made a purchase and exhausted the credit on your card before it processed. All purchases are final. Contact iTunes Store support. You need to settle up before you can purchase or download anything else.

Hi, I have the iPhone 5 a couple of months now and I have set up my apple id since the day I bought the phone. Only over the last week when I have to update my apps (free apps) or try to download free apps I am asked for my billing information. As this has never happened before the last week, I am wondering why this is? Thanks on advance. P.S. my card details are saved I only need to put in the security code and expiration date. I am told I have to verify my payment before I can make purchases, but there is no payment due.

It sounds like you may need to verify / update your iTunes Store account billing information again.
The first thing I would suggest is to log out of your iTunes Account on your iPhone
Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Tap on your Apple ID account > Tap Sign Out
Then restart the iPhone and follow the instructions below:
(You will most likely be prompted to enter the security code and expiration date for your credit card.)

Is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :
If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorizations have the correct information on file.
And/or try contacting iTunes support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Express Lane, then iTunes > iTunes Store

Part of the validation for credit cards is that they need to be registered to exactly the same name and address that you have on your iTunes account, which prepaid cards tend not to be. Do you have a proper credit card that you could use ? Or are iTunes gift cards available in your country so that you could try using them as your payment method ?
Until you have a valid payment method on your account and what you owe iTunes has been paid off then you won't be able to download any item from the store, including free apps (and updates to apps).
