  • I am trying to move my  albums  with the pictures to a flash drive but I get the pictures but not in the album.

How can I move my albums, including the title of the album , with the pictures to a flash drive. Every thing I try I only get the pictures but they are not in the album.

Create a folder on the Desktop with the ablum name.  Then export the contents of your iPHoto album into that folder.  Drag the folder  onto the flash drive.

  • Creating Albums in the Photo App

How do I create albums in the photo app on my iPad if I don't have a Mac or pc to sync to?

With iOS 5+ you should get an Edit button at the top of the Albums screen in the Photos app which lets you create new albums, and you can then copy your photos into those new albums - the photos are only copied or pointed to by those new albums, so if you delete the original photo on your iPad then it is also deleted from all albums that you've copied it into.

    Hi LoboCatholic,
I apologize, I'm a bit unclear on the exact nature of the issue you are desscribing. I am not certain that this will address your specific issue, but if you are having photo organization issues in iOS 8 on your new iPhone 6, you may find the following article helpful:

  • No pictures show in either the Pictures app or filemanager after 2.0

I can see the pictures across a USB connection,   but they dont show up on the playbook.  The pictures App is blank with just the wood background,  not even the sample pictures show up.

Mine do are they in the wrong folder perhaps.

  • How do I find the new U2 album on the music app on my iphone? Is there something I need to do to be able to see it ?

Open iTunes app on your phone.  go to Purchases.  It may be in the more section, (The ellipsis icon over the word More). Tap Purchased.  Tap Music. Tap Recent Purchases.  Tap the iCloud icon next to the tracks you want to download.  On my phone the songs were at the beginning of the list because I haven't purchased anything since it was announced this morning.

  • Can I "preview all" of an album with the iTunes app yet?

I was shopping yesterday and someone asked me if I wanted to buy a certain cd and I said "No, I want to preview it first on iTunes before I buy the whole album." I tried looking all over the iTunes app on my iPhone, but couldn't find a way to preview all the songs without tapping 'play' on every song. Has Apple thought about adding a button at the bottom of an album to the iTunes app. (like on the iTunes computer software)  for people like me to preview an entire album on a mobile device? It would have been nice to preview the album while I was doing my other shopping, then come back and buy the album if I liked all the songs.

Get Toast™. It's an easy way to do what you are asking about.
It allows you to set the levels (as well as normalize) of your individual tracks so they can all be at more consistent levels, if that's what you desire. Toast also has the AU plugins for each track, if you want to use any of those. It does trimming and crossfades also.
Bias Peak Pro™ is good software for mastering, but much more involved. It depends on how far you want to take it. Their LE versions are decent also- check the specs to see if they have the functionality that you're looking for.
As noeqplease is saying, this takes time and patience, and several (many) trial burns. Check them on as many varied sound systems as you can. You might want to keep notes so when you get back to your studio you'll remember what needs doing. Tracks may need multiband compression, and/or limiting, and/or expansion, or eq (gasp!), and possibly even remixing to get everything where it needs(?) to be. Level normalizing of an entire project CD is much more than simply clicking on the Normalize function of an editor software.
    Best of luck & cheers,
    BB

  • How can I delete photos in the "Edited" album in the iPhoto app on my iPad??

How can I delete photos in the "Edited" folder in the iPhoto App on my iPad?

What a pain...you must go through all that to remove it?! So many unessary steps!
I also find that when I sync up a new photo folder to replace the old set that I previously wiped out and replaced it staggers afew pictures from before in with the new and will not show all of the new....so frustrating!!!  I even close out iPhoto and go into the photo album and all the photos that synced up which are the ones I do want are all there....it's so different than what I see the album in iPhoto.  Why Apple WHY??

  • IOS4, iPhoto: How Do you Add a Photo in It's Own Album in the Photo App?

Hi. The updated to iOS 4 erased one of my albums where I had a photo of Mother Mary in green monochrome as my wallpaper (green and black look for the iPhone). How do I add a new album into Photo App, put the image in that album and set it again as my wallpaper using Setting App? Thank you in advance.
    (I'm using iPhoto, 10.6.4 and iMac i7 (8GB))

You create a new album in iPhoto, put whatever pictures you want in it, and then resynch to iPhone. You cannot create albums on the iPhone

  • Is ther a way to quickly delete whole albums in the music app in iOS 7?

I often download new music and need to remove old music to make space.  I use Match, so I almost never sync with a computer these days, and even when I do I don't manage my music that way.  The music app in iOS 7 seems to have no way to delete albums, just individual songs.  This is very tedious when I want to remove one album and replace it with another album.  Happily, I can still download a whole album with one tap.  Has anyone found the secret to deleting albums?

it looks like they took out the "Show" option under Mail settings completely and added a Flag choice instead. Don't know why.

  • Is there a way to create folders in the pictures app?

Since I got my Playbook I've been very impressed with the camera quality, way better than my phones 1.3. So I've been taking a lot of pictures. I have taken a lot of my car because I'm making a website for it and want a lot of pictures of it, I take some random ones just for the fun of it, and in school my friends take pictures of themselves with it (it blows the ipad 2's camera quality away) I'd like to put them in separate folders in the pictiures app so that way I don't have to go through all of them and if people want to see the pics they took in school they don't have to go through all of the ones of my stuff on there. I know there is automatically a folder for downloaded pictures, and another for wallpaper like if you got a wallpaper app and download pictures from it. All of my pictures I've taken are in the "camera pictures" folder, so is there a way I can create folders in the app and organize them?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

If you create the folders as a child within the main pictures folder, then they will show up in the app separately. I have many folders with pictures in.
You will need to move the photos manually - they will automatically go in the Camera folder.
    Hope that helps.

  • Is it possible to recover some pics from a project if the album with the pictures has been deleted ?

Hello! I've accidently delete an album of pics from Iphoto and from my computer. I tried to recover them with several program but it's not working.
The strange think is that i still can see the pictures i'd like to recover in a project, as vignette. But if i look at the project, it is said that there's no picture in it... Any idea how i can do to recover my pics ?
Bonjour!
    GRAND MERCI!

The thing is, i don't understand why i still can see the "vignette" of the photos if the photos have really disappeared from my whole computer !
Events may keep a thumbnail of he last photo they contained, even if the photos have all been deleted.
Can you explain me how to restore my iphoto library ? ...the thing is, i haven't done any backup before haha...
    We can't do magic, sorry.
Have you tried recovery software on the card, or only on your Mac?

  • Albums and the Pictures Folder

Why do some Albums I've created in iPhoto appear in the Pictures folder of Finder and others don't?
    PowerBook G4   Mac OS X (10.4.7)

The phrase "they are entries in the iPhoto database - by default the iPhoto library in your pictures folder - if you move your iPhotolibrary to an external drive they are there - " answers the question.
If it is of use to you or others, don't do what I did, read the help menu item below first instead:  In ignorance, long ago I did the following:
moved images out of yyyy database files into custom name files in the same HD/Photo Library
deleted the yyyy database files on HD in attempt to save space
    deleted images from application
Since keywords etc said to move with image files into HD, my old-fashined tree recreates a poor wheel, making back up a tedious process.
    From iPhoto Help:
IMPORTANT: There is also an "iPhoto Library" folder located in the Pictures folder in your home folder, outside the iPhoto application. If you move, delete, rename, or otherwise touch files or folders within this folder, you may be unable to see your pictures in the iPhoto application.
The files within this folder should only be manipulated by a customer care representative.
