ALE Customizing Problem

Hi all,
I am customizing ALE Between two servers : sand ( client 900 ) and vat ( Client 600 ).
I want to transfer material from sand to vat.
I have made ports and RFC Destination as required on both the servers.
Ports and RFC Configuration on Sand is as follows :
RFC Destination name : VAT600
PORT Name            : VAT600
Ports and RFC Configuration on VAT is as follows :
RFC Destination name : SANCLNT900
PORT Name            : SANCLNT900
SANCLNT900 is the logical name of the client 900 of sand server.
VAT600 is the logical name of the client 600 of VAT server
Customer distribution model is also made on the sand server.
Partner profile on sand server is as follows :
Name          : VAT600 ( logical name of the vat server ).
O/B Parameter : matmas
Partner profile on vat server is not made . I think it has to be made after distributing the model to the vat server.
Now when i try to distribute the Customer distribution model  from Sand to vat server , the system gives following error :
RFC destination for synchronous communication (message type SYNCH) 
Partner profile LS VAT600 SYNCH does not  exist.
Generate partner profile                         
or specify outbound partner profiles for message type SYNCH        
Please tell me where I am wrong.
I dont know how to overcome this problem.
Please help me.

i thing you need to set the partner profile in the VAT ( client 600 ) also before you distribute the Customer distribution model in clien 900

    What I want to do: Sending a IDOC with a ALE transactional, and this for all creation or modification of customer in SD (transaction VD01, VD02).
    I have already create a full ALE for ORDERS (V1).
    My problem is in transaction NACE (condition for output control), in the displayed list in field APPLICATION I don't see DB. If I put the cursor on application field and with F4 I obtain a list from table T681A and in this list I can see DB.
    I am vorking in vesrion 5.0.
    So my question is: Can I for customer use Transactional ALE with DB application?
    If yes what I have to do to set "DB" in NACE's list?
    IF no, I will use change pointer ! Or other new method if exist and you tell me.

    Try transaction V/46. here you can determine the cust output procedure and assign the required condition types.
    Further, assign the procedure to the required account groups in  transaction OVT0.

  • Consignment fill-up - Output Printing Problem - Z customizing problem

    Dear Gurus,
    I have customized and copied the following 2 sales documents types:
    - OR
    - KB
    into ZSTA and ZKB
    When I create a Sales Order using VA01 and ZSTA, and chose 1 material + 1 service, the printed invoice clearly shows 2 items for each one of them.
    When I create a Sales Order using VA01 and ZKB, and again chose 1 material + 1 service, only the material appears on the invoice and not the service...
    Does anyone has an idea about where the problem might come from?

  • ALE custom function module for IDOC_INPUT_COSTCENTER

    We are setting up an ALE to update cost centers in our HCM system from our ECC system.  In conjunction with the cost center update I need to convert the company code (it's not straight-forward enough to use a conversion rule) so I have created a custom copy of IDOC_INPUT_COSTCENTER and included my conversion logic there. 
    I have done all of the necessary configuration steps associated with the custom function module; created message type ZCOSMAS, process code ZCOSM, etc.  When I execute BD16 it is passing the correct message type and process code to the HCM system but I am getting a status 51 'Function module not allowed: IDOC_INPUT_COSTCENTER'.
    I must be missing some piece of configuration in my HCM system that should trigger Z_IDOC_INPUT_COSTCENTER rather than IDOC_INPUT_COSTCENTER.  Can anyone tell me what I have missed?

    I thought that I had found found my problem in the model view but I was mistaken.  I am still getting status 51 'Function module not allowed: IDOC_INPUT_COSTCENTER'.
    It should be using Z_IDOC_INPUT_COSTCENTER.

  • Creating an ISP Bill for Customer Problem, What did i do wrong?

    Ok so the point of this program is to create a bill for customers selecting different packages for this ISP. Now i have done all the code, made the methods and what now, but there is a problem, in my main method which tests the methods in my class, the object does not get passed through the method and my toString method does not return the output. i will post the code below, did i do anything wrong?

In any case, neither your totalCharges() method nor your toString() method is defined to accept any parameters--much less an object as a parameter.
    and my toString method does not return the outputHow do you know that? Your toString() method is defined to return a String. Where in your program do you attempt to display the String that is returned?
    did i do anything wrong?If you call a method on an object, and the method returns something, you need to assign the returned value to a variable--otherwise the returned value will disappear into the ether. Subsequently, if you want to display the returned value, you have to take steps to do that as well.
    It sounds like you need to revisit a simple "Hello World" program and play around with it a little bit.

    Application Linking and Enabling (ALE)
    In this document you will learn the step-by-step procedure to setup the ALE system and go through a transaction between two clients
    For our purpose we have two clients
    namely Client 100 and Client 200.
    System name is SAPKDC (FOR BOTH 100 AND 200 CLIENTS).
    Distribution of Material Master Data Between two Systems
    1) SETUP LOGICAL SYSTEM:  (Note: Do Not Create This Step)
    To do this follow the following steps
    Execute SALE Transaction Code
    On The Screen Click on Sending and Receiving Systems.
    Then Click on Logical Systems.
    Then Click Defining Logical Systems.
    Click New Entries Button
    (E.g. (LG100 sending system)
    (LG200 receiving system))
    Enter two logical system names and their description.
    Save
    Comeback to SALE Transaction Code screen.
    2) Now you have to allocate the created logical systems to respective clients.( Note: Do Not Create This Step)
    LG100 assign to client 100
    LG200 assign to client 200
    To do this, do the following.
    Click Assigning Client to Logical System.
    Ignore the message that comes up on the screen.
    Select client 100
    Click details button on the toolbar icon or press F2.
    In the logical system box, enter LG100.
    Click on the save Icon
    Click the back button.
    Now select client 200.
    Click details icon or press f2.
    In logical Systems box, enter LG200.
    Save
    Back.
    Comeback to SALE Transaction Code screen.
    3) Maintain RFC Destination: (TR.CODE:SM59)

    Connection type is  3
    Give a description for the RFC destination.

    Short text as Distribution for MM Data.
    Enter Technical Name as LGMODEL.
    Select Model View and Click on Add Message Type Pushbutton on App toolbar of the Screen.

    Model View as       LGMODEL.
    Sender as           LG100.
    Receiver as      LG200.

    Industry sector as      Mechanical Engineering
    Material Type as           Finished Products.
    And then Click on Data Pushbutton on the App tool bar.
    Select views.
    In the select views box for materials check basic data 1 AND 2.
    Click enter icon.
    In the next screen that you get
    Give the text of the material as NEW MATERIAL.
    Base unit of measure as KG.
    Gross Weight as 200.
    Net Weight as 100.
    Weight Unit as KG.
    In the description area language (E) and material description.
    Click Save.
    Now I Created a Material in Client 100 , I want to transfer this data to Client 200.
    6) Execute BD10 to transfer the material in which you specify
    the material as LGMATERIAL and
    message type as MATMAS (client100).
    Then a Screen will be displayed in which it shows that
    1 Master Idoc Generated .. Enter
    1 Communication Idoc Generated..Enter.
    *******LOGIN to Client 200.
    7) Execute BD11 to get the material in which you specify
    the material  as LGMATERIAL and
    message type as MATMAS (client200).
    8) Execute Tr.code MM03 and give the material as LGMATERIAL
    and see that the material is displayed as it was in Client 100.
    If not follow these steps.
    9) Execute Tr.code WE19( for rectification of errors in client200).
    Specify the Existing Idoc Number and Executes it .
    A Screen is displayed in which you specify the corresponding Function Module as INPUT_IDOC_MATMAS01 and execute it.
    10) Execute Tr.code MM03 and give the material as LGMATERIAL
    and see that the material is displayed as it was in Client 100.
    Now the Material is correctly displayed in Client 200.
    11) Monitoring of IDOCS.
    Transaction Codes:
    IDOC Display of Status: WE 05.
    IDOC Date and Time:   WE07.

  • Ale Custom filter group

    Hi All,
    I need to transfer cost centers via ALE. The issue is that the filter which I have to implement in the distribution model is based on company code (unlike controlling area which is the standard filter group for message type cosmas).
    I searched a number of sites, but couldnt find much information on how to create custom filter groups in ale.
    any suggestions?

    Find the Detailed Steps below.. You can implement The Same Example for Company code field...
    <b>These are the Steps to Implement Data Filtering in ALE.</b>
    <b>Filter Objects: These are the Fields based on which you define The Conditon.</b>
    For eg: Matnr, Mtart...
    1. Create a Filter Object (If it is not available for ur Requirement)
       Tcode: BD59
       New Entries:
       ALE Filter Object type : MBRSH (Industry Sector)
       Segment type :  E1MARAM
       Segment field : MBRSH
       Save.
    2. Link the ALE Filter Object type to the Table field in DDIC
        Tcode: BD95
        New Enries:
        ALE Filter Object type : MBRSH (Industry Sector)
        Table Name : MARA
        Table field : MBRSH
        Save
    3. Creating Data filtering using this Filter Object type
        Tcode: BD64.
        Expand ur Model view.
        Under the Message Type MATMAS
        Double click on No Data filter / Data filter Active.
        Create a Filter Group.
        It will list out all the Filter Objects of the Message type:
        (you should find the New filter Object type)
       Double Click on the Filter Object type MBRSH .
       Assign the Filter values
       Save.

  • GRC 10.0 Workflow customizing problem

    Hi experts,
    We are working with GRC Access Control 10.0 and when doing the customizing tasks related with workflows we have an issue that doesnt let us continue.
    Here is the background information.
    We are in the "IMG/Governance Risk and Compliance/General Settings/Workflow/Perform Automatic Workflow Customizing" or easiest, we are in transaction code SWU3.
    Here we have: Maintain Runtime Environment, all green, Maintain Definition Environment, all green, Maintain Additional Settings and Services, a red cross :(.
    So, when opening the tree of our red cross task, we find that the only task that is with a red cross is "Maintain Web Server".
    So, we execute the task, and here we have the following information:
    Service = Webflow (Internet)
    Address web server = http://<our web server>:8000/
    Protocol Address = HTTP
    Path of service = sap/bc/workflow_xml/?
    URL = http://<our web server>:8000/sap/bc/workflow_xml/?
    And here is something that kept our attention. When we push the button to test the URL, our IE opens a page but it is in blank (it doesnt show anything).
    As we saw that, we thought that the service was not active and so went to transaction SICF and checked it, and yes, when you test the service, it doesnt work.
    We finally, checked support packages upgrades and went to SP5 in our GRC server and SP5 in both plugins in our SAP ERP server.
    And, here we are. Have no idea what else to do or check.
    Any suggestion?

    I have just checked my SICF settings and found that we have not actually activated those services at all and our NWBC sessions work fine now.
    Have you activated the sap/bc/nwbc and sap/bc/webdynpro services?
    Also, have you activated the required BC sets for the standard content on Access Controls? This removes the need to do a lot of the basic setups but you still need to follow through the event linkages to check the successful generation etc.

  • Customs Problem

    Dear All,
    I have created import PO of 100 Nos.  Vendor has send 100 Nos.
    To receive it I need to pay to cusotms, hence I have done MIRO for Customs commisionarate for 100 Nos where it is debiting for 100 Nos.
    At the time of GR, I found only 80 Nos balance are in transit loss. Hence I am doing MIGO for 80 Nos.
    At this time Customs clearing account is Crediting for 80 Nos only.
    Due to this Customs clearing account is kept Crediting balance for balance 20 Nos hence it is not knocking off. As I paid to customs I can't able to claim back.
    How to solve this?

  • ALE Configuration problem in FI

    Hi all,
    I need some help on a solution to set up for FI doc ALE distribution using standard tools.
    The goal is to send Invoice Documents (FB60) from an R/3 to another external R/3 system via IDoc, using standard messages, functions, etc.
    I am looking for some guidelines and technical explanation on how I should proceed.
    I saw that message type FIDCMT should be used. Do I need to enhance User Exit  EXIT_SAPLF050_007?
    I found some explanations in OSS Note 114814 and on other forum threads but I am kind of confused on what I need to do exactly. Some setups in BD64 were described in other threads, is that relevant?

    first of all u have to find out the user exit.and then if u need to add fields ,then u can write the code here. and then determine the outbound partner profle using tcode WE20. AND then u can u can assign those things in bd64 bussiness model.and if need filters u can set there.

  • Edit Customer Problem and Logical Port

    Hi Experts,
    ISSUE 1
    In Web Service Administration, when I look at /iwcnt/actionitemvi_document service in details, I can see one Endpoint only, that is Binding_T_HTTP_A_HTTP.
    In the Troubleshooting Guide, in section 5. No Workflow / Reports reach the SCL from backend system, there are mentioned two endpoints: Binding_T_HTTPS_A_HTTP and Binding_T_HTTP_A_HTTP - all other setting, I have, are the same on my server as mentioned in the troubleshooting guide. So why there is diffrence in binding on that particular service?
    The other thing I noticed, is, that when looking closer on the logical port creation on backend system in the Behind the scene video, it mentions, that the Path Suffix include binding_t_http_a_http whereas in the Troubleshooting Guide it is showing binding_t_https_a_http - why this?
    What is the right path suffix for the logical ports at the backend system?

    ISSUE 1:
    This is very likely because SSL is not configured. First of all can you go to SOAMANAGER -> Business Scenario Configuration and deactivate and activate the DUET_ENTERPRISE_ALL. When activating check if you are getting errors for the Assertion profiles (my guess would be, that you are getting errors).
    In this case check the SSL configuration from SMICM -> \[Menu] Goto -> Services
    Here you should see an active service HTTPS. If that is not the case, check that the SSL certificate is created (STRUST) and make sure that the required profile parameters are set (see also Deployment Guide -> "To configure the use of SSL in the SCL host" on page 33 at http://www.service.sap.com/instguides -> Duet -> Duet Enterprise 1.0 -> Duet Enterprise SAP Deployment Guide)).
    Regarding the backend configuration for the logical ports in LPCONFIG. Here it depends on how you have setup the configuration on the SCL. If you released the services with HTTPS then the URL in the backend has to be HTTPS binding, if you configured it via HTTP, then it has to be HTTP binding Did you perform the connection tests as described in the videos or in the checkpoint of the troubleshooting guide?
    ISSUE 2:
    Can you take a look also on the SAP side in SRTUTIL? Do you see any additional error information there? You might also want to check the errors from the log viewer /IWFND/VIEW_LOG

    Hi Dilip,
    Sometimes the IDOC gives the status 25 with msg <b>IDoc ready to be transferred to application</b>.
    In this case run the program RSEOUT00 and give this IDOC number as input and run to get the status 03.

    Actually the port details are given in unix directory flat file. so, we didn't create ports manually in our system.
    But the error occurs due to port configuration only.
    why the error has happened like this.
