ALE filtering for CREMAS

Experts,
Here is my scenario: I have distributed an ALE scenario for message type CREMAS (vendor data). I have filters at the purchase org and company code level, which are child segments to the general data. However, and Idoc is still created for the general data, when the filter criteria is not met at the lower level.
Question: How do I prevent the Idoc from being created (for general data), if filter for lower nodes of Idoc are not met (other than another filter on general data)???

Example:
CREMAS msg type
LFA1 - general data
---LFB1 - company code
---LFM1 - purchasing
If LFB1 and LFM1 get filtered based on criteria, the LFA1 general data segment (E1LFA1M) still gets created. I do NOT want this Idoc created at all...

Were you able to solve your issue? I have the same problem where I only want to create an CREMAS idoc whenever the company code data on the vendor is changed.

ALE Vendor Confirmation (CREMAS)

Hi,
When a Vendor is created FK01 the ALE is settings done to send the Vendor code to another SAP system. But now it will be Unconfirmed in both the systems.
(LFA1-CONFS and LFB1-CONFS will be '1')
When the Confirmation is done using a different User in Sending system using FK08, this data is not ALED to the Receiving system. So we had to do Confirmation seperately in both the systems.
As the IDOC type for CREMAS does not have a segment field for LFA1-CONFS and LFB1-CONFS (Confirmation status) we can create an Extension IDOC segment and send it.
But I find that the standard ALE Inbound Function module IDOC_INPUT_CREDITOR does not have an option of Confirming.
Its does only a XK01 or XK02 but not a FK08.
Cause a confirmation can only be done using XK08 and that too with not with the user who had created the Vendor.
Please mail me if any of you have done an ALE Automatic Vendor confirmation in the Receiving system.

Full Master Data Distribution in ALE - Vendor Master CREMAS(Full Distributi

Hi Experts,
   I have to do a Full Master Data Distribution in ALE - Vendor Master CREMAS(Full Distribution) using BD21.
   I have already read the blog of Mickel and incorporated the code in Change_Pointer_Read.
   It is still not working. Should I include the code at the end of the Function Module. If yes, how to code at the last as
   I can include my code at the SAP suggest Enhancement and End Enhancement.
   Is there any way I can create the implicit Enhancement at the end of the Function Module.
   I will appreciate any help to make the Full Distribution work.

   My requirement is to send the whole Vendor Master in a IDoc even though for eg there is only one field change in address field of Vendor Master. Full Master Data distribution. But the program BD21 creates only IDocs with segments where the changes are made in the particular tab like address.
   Is there any Enhancement or way to enforce the whole Master Data(CREMAS) to be distributed.
   I will really appreciate any helpful answer .

Filters for HR replication

Hi all,
We are working on SRM 5.0(Standalone scenario).We need to replicate the Org structure from R/3 to SRM.Can anyone tell me how do we apply filters suring HR replication for bringing in only the required Org units/users during replication.
I found a note Note 389326 - HR-CA-ALE: Filtering of links by linked object type describing the same but not very much clear on what needs to be exactly done for applying filters during replication.
Any input will be appreciated!

I think it is NOT the valid business case.
Let me explain
Assume you have Org 1, Org 2 and Org 3 and replicated successfully to SRM. Next assume your users belong to Org5 (i.e level 5).
In this scenario, you will not replicate Org 5 and the positions under Org5 also will not be replicated. Same for Person also.
There is no way in the standard SAP SRM replication process.
you can link the Org5 users to Org3 as you don't want to replicate Org4 and Org5

How to apply filters for union all report in OBIEE 11g

Hi All
Can we apply saved filters to union reports in obiee 11g?
I am able to apply saved filters for normal reports but not for union reports.
The catalog pane is blank, when i click on result columns or each criteria.
The only option i see is to manually create the filters for each criteria, dont i have any choice to use a saved filter for union report?
Is this a bug or something i am unaware. Please guide me

Filter is created based on subject area.we can't use save filter in any other subject areas.
now we can use new filter for union reports.

Internet Filtering for iPod Touch

Maybe try turning off safari on restrictions and then installing k9 interent browser app, they're a internet filter, the app allows access to the internet with thier standard setting of filtering for the internet browser. Its quite good, its free, however you cant customize what it blocks from being seen when you browse the interent.

Colour filters for RGB separation?

I want to colour-separate an image to create false-colour - start with a UV-only photo matched with an RGB photo, then separate the B & G of the RGB so I can map UV to B, B to G and G to R as insects see things. The images are film, not digital raw.
First, I have to find colour filters for Elements 9, and there don't seem to be any installed. Any sources that others have used without problems?
I assume that converting each separated image to B&W then to the desired colour, then superposing as 3 layers will work, but is there a better way?

Thanks for the info -- it inspired me to experiment with this. I was amazed that I could separate the original colour image into 3 separate B&W layers and then recombine them into a full colour image. One thing I found is that the colourized B&W layers need to be combined using the "Screen" mode, not "Multiply".
Just for the helluvit, I faked an insect's vision of a flower using the OP's layer replacements. I don't have a UV image of the flower, so I used PSE's "Infrared effect" in the B&W conversion dialog. That effect is certainly not the same as a UV image, but will have to do for this experiment. When comparing my result with images on the Web that created a false colour image of insect vision, I saw that I needed to add a Brightness/Contrast layer at the top of the stack, with the Brightness set to -100 and the Contrast set to -50. Here's what I ended up with:

how can i create filters for OPENHUB Destination for the below scenario.
Make some kind of u201Clogicu201D to support a filter on an open hub. E.g. only data from month 2011-04 and until today are u201Copen hubu2019edu201D each day and data before 2011-04 must be u201Copen hubu2019ed u201D e.g. each weekend.
The filter on the open hub can be different from open hub to open hub. We must be able, to filter one or more fields from the open hub.

ALE Configuration for PEXR2002 IDoc and PAYEXT message type sending to XI

I need ALE Configuration for PEXR2002(Basic Type) IDoc , it's message type PAYEXT.
I don't know ALE Configuration for sending data from SAP IDS to SAP XI.????
I need ALE Configuration doc/pdf??

I was wondering if you have had any luck creating the configuration for PEXR2002 Idoc, PAYEXT message types, and sending the result set to XI.
I need to perform the same task within our R3 environment using the FTP protocol in XI to send the file to the Bank to be processed.

ALE configuration for Outbound Idoc - Help me

Hi Experts,
I am newbee in SAP and XI. I was trying to send MATMAS Idoc from R3 and i was running into some issues. So i would appreciate if someone can help me.

I did all the steps mentioned in the above link ( Creating Logical Systems, Assigning Client and RFC destnations, Creating distribution models ..... etc)
and then everything went well and i saw success messags in all the steps.
I used BD10 to send material and it went well. But when i check TRFC queue, i see some error messages; "No service for system SAPRDI, client 800 in Integrion Directory"
And all the messages are hanging in the TRFC queue.
Note: I havent configured anything in XI yet. I wanted to make sure IDoc gets to XI client first.

I created RFC destination (SM59) and Port (IDX1)
Then i sent another material (BD10) and checked tRFC queue. i found bunch of error in the Queue.
1.connection to host 10.4.23.120, service sapgw00 timed out / CPI-C error C
No service for system SAPRDI, client 800 in Integration Directory
partner not reached (host 10.16.176.29, service sapgw00) / CPI-C error CM
connection to host 10.16.136.127, service sapgw58 timed out / CPI-C error
Note: i have noticed entries for R3 in SLD as below
System Name: RDI ( not SAPRDI as mentioned in the error message)
System Home: r3ides
That might be reason. If so, how to change it in R3 box? Any suggestions?
Please send me if you guys have any links or docs to address this issue.

In XI
1) Create RFC Destination towards R/3
2) Create Port
3) Load Meta data
In R/3
1) Create RFC Destination towards XI
2) Create Port
3) Create PF
Q1) Coming to File-IDOC Scenario do we need to do the Same Settings ????
Q2) In this File-IDCO Scenario do we need to create RFC Destination in R/3 towards XI ????

for IDOC TO FILE
We need to create the rfc destination at XI side so as to send the acknowledgement to sap r/3 as soon as idoc has been received.This is the reason WHY WE NEED RFC DESTINATION AT XI SIDE
There are are only 2 major difference in Ale settings for FILE TO IDOC AND IDOC-FILE
i.e for FILE-IDOC
1) No need to Distribute the modal view
2) For partner profile Specify the INBOUND PARAMETERS
FOR STEP BY STEP U CAN SEE THE SETTINGS GIVEN BELOW
We need to do the following settings in XI
1)   Create an RFC Destination to the Receiving System in transaction code (SM59)
a)   Choose create
b)   Specify the name of the RFC destination
c)   Select connection type as 3 and save
d)   In the technical settings tab enter the details SAP SID/URL and system number#
e)   Enter the Gateway host as same details above SID/URL
f)   Gateway service is 3300+system number#
g)   In the Logon /Security tab, enter the client, user & Password details of Destination system
h) Test the connection and remote logon.Both should be succesful
2) Create Port Using Transaction Code IDX1
a)   Select Create New button
b)   Enter the port name as SAP+SID (The starting char should be SAP)
c)   Enter the destination client
d)   Enter the RFC Destination created in XI towards R/3
e)   Save
3) Load Meta Data for IDOC Using transaction Using Transaction (IDX2)
a) Create new
b) IDOC Message Type
c) Enter port created in IDX1
                    SETTINGS IN SAP R/3
     We need to do the following settings in R/3
     Logon to Sap R/3 System
1)   Create an RFC Destination to XI in transaction code (SM59)
a)   Choose create
b)   Specify the name of the RFC destination
c)   Select connection type as 3 and save
d)   In the technical settings tab enter the details SAP SID/URL and system number#
e)   Enter the Gateway host as same details above SID/URL
f)   Gateway service is 3300+system number#

2)   Create communication Port for Idoc processing Using Transaction(We21)
a)   First Select Transactional RFC and then click create button
b)   Enter the destination port name as SAP+SID (The starting char should be SAP)
d)   Enter the RFC Destination created in SAP R/3 towards other system.
e)   Save
3)   Create Partner Profile with Inbound Parameters (WE20)
a)   Create New
b)   Create the Partner no. name as same the logical system name of the destination system
c)   Select Partner type LS
d)   Enter details for Type: US/USER, Agent, and Lang
     Then Save
e)   Select Partner no. and LS which were create above
f)   Now we have to give some Inbound Parameters.So click on ADD TO Create Inbound Parameter
g)   Select Message type
h)   Double click on Message Type and Then Enter the details for Message Type and Process Code.
I)   save
4)   In Transaction SALE, Create Logical System
a). Go to Basic Settings-> First Define logical systems
     and then assign logical systems
b)   Double click on Define the logical systems
c)   Give data for your Logicaal System and Name
d)   Now click on Save.Here one window may appear just click on Continue.Now the Logical System name is ready
e)   Assign the logical system name to the client
ALSO WE NEED TO CONFIGURE THE IDOC ADAPTER AS RECEIVER TO CONVERT THE IDOC-XML TO IDOC
