ALE - support end 2008 ?

Hi,
I have heard that the servicing (support) from SAP of interface ALE will be end in 2008. Is that correct?
Will ALE be detached from XI?
Does anybody know some information about using ALE in the future?
Thanks Michael

Hi Michael,
No , not at all.
What so ever you heard is wrong.
Basically ALE means APPLICATION LINK ENABLING .
this is a Concept which is implemented in SAP as a configuration to make SAP communicate with SAP and NON SAP systems .
This is not a perticuler TOOL or THIRD PARTY product.
Be cool, SAP will Support it and enhance its capabilities.
Regards,
Ramesh.

  • Windows 2008 R2 domain controllers with Windows 2003 forest functional level Supported after Windows 2003 support ends in July 2015

    Hi
Anyone knows whether Windows 2008 R2 domain controllers with Windows 2003 forest functional level will still be Supported after Windows 2003 support ends in July 2015 ?
    Thanks

When Windows Server 2003 support ends, you should not have a Windows Server 2003 Domain Controller running if you would like to be supported by Microsoft. This means that there will be no reason to have a DFL or FFL that is lower than Windows Server 2008.
So, if you are keeping Windows Server 2003 FFL to keep DCs running Windows Server 2003 then this is not supported.

  • Does the Sun Ray software support Windows 2008

    Hey guys,
I need to implement Sun Ray software to connect to windows server 2008 running as a terminal server, but as i understand the current release does not support windows 2008 connection. Am I right?

You may use a third party tool called "VNC". This is a great tool to connect (any) ms windows system either it has server windows or client, but should have installed "VNC" on it.
    Yom may download from
    http://www.realvnc.com/products/download.html
You should install on solaris and windows systems on theri respective versions.
    GOOD LUCK!

  • Is weblogic 10.3.3 support ending

Can someone help me to find out if Oracle is stopping the support for weblogic 10.3.3.
I heard recently that we need to upgrade to 10.3.5 since the support for 10.3.3 is ending.
So, Does this also mean 11.1.1.3 support ending?
Can someone throw some light on this.

The link Tom shared goes up to 10.3.0, but for WLS 10.3.1 - also known as 11gR1 11.1.1.1, please check here:
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/ias/files/oracle%20fusion%20middleware%2011gR1%20(11.1.1.x)%20certification%20matrix.xls
If the full link doesn't show up - go here:
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/ias/files/fusion_certification.html
Note that 10.3.2 of WLS is in FMW 11.1.1.2, which is covered by the FMW 11.1.1.1+ sections of the spreadsheet.
There is a special note in the spreadsheet for 11.1.1.2 minimum JVM requirements:
"Minimum JDK Versions That Apply To Oracle Fusion Middleware 11gR1 (11.1.1.2+)
Oracle Fusion Middleware 11gR1 (11.1.1.2+) requires a minimum JDK version. The following minimum JDK versions apply:
    Ÿ Sun JDK 1.6.0_14+ (32-bit, 64-bit).
    Ÿ Oracle JRockit 6 Update 14 R27.6.5+ (32-bit, 64-bit).
    Ÿ HP JDK 6.0.05+ (32-bit, 64-bit).
    Ÿ IBM JDK 1.6.0 SR6+ (32-bit, 64-bit). Note: IBM JDK 1.6.0 SR6+ can be downloaded from http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/java/jdk/aix/service.html"

    Have a good one, too.

  • Will automatic update select 'Adobe Reader X' after support ends for 'Adobe Reader 9.5.5' on 6/23?

After the recent update for ‘Adobe Reader 9.5.5’ the end of support for this version is June 23, 2013. This is installed on an edition of ‘Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2’. System type: 32-bit Operating System.

Probably is the best way to go if end of support for ‘Adobe Reader 9.5.5’ is June 23, 2013. Does automatic update select the latest version of ‘Adobe Reader X’?
