Alert Configuration Link error

We have done the ALERT configuration.After which we get a link as shown below through e-mail..
http://hostname:port/rwb_mdt/index.jsp?rwb=true&objectName=name=is.01.uctvt701,type=XIServerEngine&messageid=24F2553025E611DD829B0016357312D2
The problem is in the above link
objectName=name=is.01.uctvt701 should be 'QR1CLNT100' instead of the value 'is.01.uctvt701'.
where QR1CLNT100 is the business system.
Similarly type=XIServerEngine should be 'type=XIIntegrationEngine'.
Any idea what and where could be the problem ?

Runtime workbeanch RWB - Alert Configuration link not working

Hi,
We are having issue opening one of the link in our SAP PI system.
The link is http://Hotname:51400/rwp -> AlertConfiguration and
Alert inbox.
All other links [Component Monitoring,Message Monitoring, Performance Monitoring .......] on this runtime workbeanch page (http://Hotname:51400/rwp) are working fine, except ALERT CONFIGURATION and ALERT INBOX.
Please suggest a solution.

Thanks for all your suggestions.
I have checked the FQDN hostname parameter in the exchange profile and it is as per.
Also the t-code ALRTINBOX is working fine. The inbox is getting displayed in the web browser.
Going back to the problem I have reported, when the link http://Hotname:51400/rwp -> AlertConfiguration is executed in turn this service is running the service u201Csxms_alertrulesu201D [Default_host/sap/bc/bsp/sap/sxms_alertrules/ from SICF].
I have manually checked this service from SICF - sxms_alertrules -> Test service, even this service is failing to run with error u201CInternet Explorer cannot display the webpageu201D
The link is hitting the browser with link u201Chttp://Hostname.Domain.net:8014/sap/bc/bsp/sap/sxms_alertrules?sap-client=100u201D
The service is active but still this service is failing.
Can anyone suggest solution out.

Alert Configuration: SMTP Error in SOST, Container variables not filling.

I have been configured in XI System following sdn and Michal's blog.ALRTCATDEF,SCOT settings have been done and When i try to test the alerts , alerts are reaching alert inbox but not to mail. And also in alert long text container variables are missing I have been requested my basis team to implement sap note 835031. What exact cause for this could any body explain me. And also Please suggest me what has to be done when i get error in SOST 'Message cannot be transferred to node SMTP due to connection error (final) ' Do i have to follow steps mentiond in below link:

Mail Alert Configuration

In productive scope XI the configuration of the alert has been presenting/displaying some problems, I believe that you can be so that in these machines it exists to cluster, because in atmospheres DES and QA this working as it corresponds.
The problem is that the message that is sent by mail is different from the mail defined in the category of alert
Subject: Alertas Runtimeworkbench (The triggering application determined you as a recipient)
Mje: Possible Subsequent Activities
but in Alert configuration
subject : Error ...&SXMS_MSG_GUID&
mje : text of description of the interface with error

Q6: I moved the Alert Server to a different host. Why don't I receive any alerts anymore?
A6: In the transaction SM59 check the R/3 connection CentralMonitoringServer-XIAlerts.If it doesn't point to the new Alert Server, delete it. It will be created automatically with the correct host when the next alert is created (provided the information in the Exchange Profile has been updated).
Q7: How can I transport my Alert Categories and my Alert Rules to a different system?
A7: The Basis Alert Framework provides a menu Transport in the transaction ALRTCATDEF which allows you to create a transport request for the Alert Categories. However this works only if you have created the Alert Categories in the customizing client (c.f. the documentation of the Basis Alert Framework). For the Alert Rules you may create a transport request by runnning the report SXMSALERT_CONFIGTRANS.
Q8: I don't receive any alerts, however when I test the alert category using the report RSALERTTEST, the alert is delivered.

A10: This is due to an error in the Business Object Repository when the value of a container variable exceeds 255 characters. Please implement the correction described in note #947738.
Q11: Why do I sometimes receive two alerts when an error happens in a receiver adapter?
A11: This happens because two independant components of the Adapter Framework react simultaneously on the error. The problem will fixed with SP17.

Links "alert configuration" & "alert inbox" show page not found error

Hi,
One of our test servers is at SP9, SR1 installation.
When i tried to access "Alert Configuration" , "Alert Inbox" links in RWB, the link pages dosen't get dispalyed. It gives the follwing error
404 Page not found ... The requested resource does not exist.
Should we try redeploying RWB sda..?

I'm Pruthvi working in SAP-XI.
When I try to click on the Alert-Configuration and Alert-Inbox I'm getting the same error you got :
404 Not Found
The requested source doesnot exist
From your blog I got to know the below things :
1) We will get HTTP port number and full host name value from the t-code SMICM -> Goto -> Services
2) We have to give the HTTP port number value in Exchange Profile in com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.httpport
3) We have to give the full host name value in Exchange Profile in com.sap. aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.r3.ashost
4) Also I have checked in the t-code SICF and all the required services as described in sap note 768456 were present over there.
Apart from the above do I need to check for anyother services (or) parameters that needs to be installed for setting the alert configuration.
Also You said that PMI store is already configured during post-installation steps
Can you please let me know what is PMI store and how to check it is configured (or) not and also where to see it.

The current ABAP program "CL_BSP_MODEL==================CP" had to be
terminated because one of the
statements could not be executed.
This is probably due to an error in the ABAP program.
What can you do?
Print out the error message (using the "Print" function)
and make a note of the actions and input that caused the
error.
To resolve the problem, contact your SAP system administrator.
You can use transaction ST22 (ABAP Dump Analysis) to view and administer
termination messages, especially those beyond their normal deletion
date.

The system discovered an invalid value while accessing a string
reference:

The check value should be hexadecimal "ED".
This is not the case.
How to correct the error

Error while opening Alert Configuration in RWB

Hi Everyone,
When I selcet Either Alert Inbox or Alert Configuration in Runtime Work Bench, I am getting error as
404 Not Found
The requested resource does not exist.
Do we need to configure/Deploy anything to access Alert Configuration.

Perform following steps. , if not performed earlier :
1.Go to exchange profile
http://<IP>:<Port>/exchangeProfile/index.html
Then RuntimeWorkbench -> com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.r3.ashost = " Mention FQDN here "
->com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring..httpport = 8000
2. Reinitialize the RWB service by : http://xiserver:50000/rwb/rtc?op=init
3. RZ10 - Make an entry for /icm/host_name_full
*************************************************8
You should give fully qualified host name for the xi server (parameter, icm/host_name_full). Also set the same in exchange profile parameter com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.r3.ashost.
- Creating HTTP Destination pmistore in the Java Environment
from XI installation guide (config in visual admin)
- Check if services in transaction SICF for RWB - if they are activated
- on your XI box go to TCODE - SE38 and run program - RSXMB_ACTIVATE_ICF_SERVICES.
- check SAP note: 750287 (XI 3.0 Runtime Workbench: Alert configuration does not start) and change values in your ExchangeProfile.
- check if you can accept cookies.
It should work friend....!!!!

Error while opening Alert Configuration

Dear All,
When I am trying to open Alert Configuration from RWB then it is giving me the following error:
URL http://sapxiprd.nissap.com:8000/sap/bc/bsp/sap/alertinbox/index.htm call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.
Note:
The termination occurred in system XPR with error code 403 and for the reason Forbidden.
The selected virtual host was 0 .
ErrorCode:ICF-NF-http-c:000-u:SAPSYS-l:E-i:SAPXIPRD_XPR_00-v:0-s:403-r:Forbidden

Kindly help me what is the error and how this can be resolved.

Go to Transaction SICF and check for the activeness of Service called /bc/bsp/sap/alertinbox.. if not make it active.
Also check this SAP note: -517484

PI 7.0 Alert Configuration Problem BSP Page Error

Hello,
We are facing the issues for the alert configuration tab in Runtime workbench for PI 7.0.
We have added the fully qualified domain name in exchange profile and 8000 port is also updated for RWB.
We have activated all the SICF services by the report
RSXMB_ACTIVATE_ICF_SERVICES and all the services are activated successfully.
But still When we click on Alert configuration we can see the page but we when we try for
any function, its giving the following error.
Error log is:
Access via 'NULL' object reference not possible.
the termination type was : RABAX_STATE
http://s71cam.corp.wrgrace.com:8000/sap/bc/bsp/sap/sxms_alertrules/main.do was not called due to error
Also in ST22 I can find the following dump:
Dump:     OBJECTS_OBJREF_NOT_ASSIGNED
Error analysis
    You attempted to use a 'NULL' object reference (points to 'nothing')
    access a component (variable: " ").
    An object reference must point to an object (an instance of a class)

I want a Scenario Where if i get any Error for my Business Service i need an Mail to be triggered.
Can any one suggest will it be better to use BPM for this. If so what are the steps for that?
I had done all the Steps specified in the following blogs for Alert Configuration.

I had done all the steps and when i get an message mapping error.
I am not able to get mails, but able to see the error in RZ20 under my specific namespace.
please suggest me.

Service Unavailable error in Alert Configuration

Hi all,
I have done all the Alert Configuration in the ABAP Stack using the tcode ALRTCATDEF.as mentioned in weblog:
/people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/09/09/xi-alerts--step-by-step
But when I click on the Alert Configuration tab in RWB, i get the following error:
Application Stopped:
Details: You have requested an application that is currently stopped
Can anyone tell me what can be the possible reason?
Do i need to start any particular service?
Pls guide

Thanks for your help.
The steps u told to follow are working well and now i can see a logon pad when i click on the Alert Configuration tab in RWB.
But now the problem i am facing is that none of the user id and password work for this logon. The error msg getting displayed is:
Incorrect client, name, or password. Log on again.
I have followed the SAP note: 750287 completely.
I have already used the id for RWB given in ExchangeProfile.
Which other user id and password should i use?
Is there anything else im lacking?
Pls guide.

Hey
Please make sure that you have added fully qualified domain name under the parameter com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.r3.ashost in exchange profile.
It wont work if you only have hostname there.
You may need to restart Java engine after the change.

Administration-Configure link to show as startup page Error

Hi Experts,
When i try to click on "Administration" under porfolio management in the portal, i get this error "Configure link to show as startup page".
I did the following steps:
1. Go to transaction SPRO->SAP xRPM-> Global Customizing->Process and service settings-> define navigation.
2. Double click on link group definition
3. Select link group 300 (Administration.)
4. Double Click on Map Link Groups to Object Context and enter your default portfolio..... fill out the following fields : Portfolio Type (The type of your default portfolio), Object type (RPH), role (RPM_PORT).......
5. Restart the J2ee Engine after the above steps.
Still I get the same error.
Please tell me where i went wrong/ to solve this issue. Is there any way to solve this?

Please check whether you have mention the 'Link Group' as well in Map link Groups to Object Context.

Alert Configuration / Alert Inbox - "404 Not Found" in PI 7.0

Hi ,
We are trying configure Alert Framework in PI 7.0.
When we are opening the Alert Configuration page through the link
http://<Hostname>:5<Sys.No>00/rwb/index.jsp -> Alert Configuration we are getting error " 404 Not Found"
But when we changed the exchangeProfile parameter com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.httpport from 5<Sys.no>00 to 8<sys.no>0 we got the page displayed there.
But when we click that page it asks for authentication again !!!
And where we need to fix this redirection problem from 5<sys.no>00 to 8<sys.no>0 ..
the parameter -> icm/HTTP/j2ee_0
is holding this value
PREFIX=/,HOST=localhost,CONN=0-500,PORT=5$$00
Please suggest.
