Alert: Health Set unhealthy - Clustering
We have SCOM 2012 R2 setup to monitor our Exchange 2013 CU5 enviroment and we have gotten this error message about our Clustering going in to an unhealthy state a couple of times. We have checked the FSW and everything seems OK on its end. I
cannot find much out there on this message, so any help would be greatly appreciated:

Hi,
According to the error message, "Offline is offline. Please verify that the Cluster service is running on the server.",
I suggest double check whether the Cluster service is running as well. If not, please restart the service manually to verify whether this issue exists.
Please also refer the blog below to double check whether the FSW online:

Any solution for this alert, how to rectify it, but OWA is running perfect for all users.Hi,
Sorry for the late reply.
Do we have Exchange 2010 coexistence?
If it is the case, I know the following known issue:
Release Notes for Exchange 2013
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj150489%28v=exchg.150%29.aspx
Please note the "Exchange 2010 coexistence" session.
If it is not related to our problem, please check the IIS log.
If there is any detailed error code, like 401.1, 401.2, please let me know.
Hope it is helpful
Thanks

FrontendTransport health set unhealthy (OnPremisesSmtpClientSubmissionMonitor)
FrontendTransport health set unhealthy (OnPremisesSmtpClientSubmissionMonitor) - The client submission probe failed 3 times over 15 minutes.
Seems like these alerts have started comming for some of the servers, where mailbox and CAS role is installed together. when i cehcked the queue, all seems to be fine. Performed the below mentioned steps, but the issue didn't fixed:
1. invoke-monitoringprobe" command doesn't work.
2. Have restarted "health manager service" didn't work.
Still the alert value is in uhealthy state, have anyone come across the same issue, if so, can you share what are the steps that we have take?
Your answers are much appreciated!Hi,
Please check the Monitor Result and Probe Result in the following path and see if there is any related message.
Event Viewer\Applications and Services Logs\Microsoft\Exchange\ActiveMonitoring\ProbeResult( or MonitorResult).
Based on your description, everthing works well except this alert. However, there is a way to hide the alert by overriding the monitor using the command below:
Add-GlobalMonitoringOverride -Identity "FrontendTransport\OnPremisesSmtpClientSubmissionMonitor" -PropertyName Enabled -PropertyValue 0 -ItemType Monitor -ApplyVersion "version"
Hope this is helpful to you.

ThanksHi,
Please run the following command and post the output:
Get-ServerHealth -Identity Servername -HealthSet Outlook.Protocol
In addition, I recommend you run "test-mapiconnectivity" and check event viewer on exchange server.
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb123681(v=exchg.150).aspx
Use the Test-MapiConnectivity cmdlet to verify server functionality by logging on to the mailbox that you specify. If you don't specify a mailbox, the cmdlet logs on to the SystemMailbox on the database that you specify.
Thanks.

How do you stop calendar alerts from setting themselves on iOS 7?
After my upgrade to iOS 7, my wife's gmail calendar items on my iPhone now all have alerts set for 5 minutes before the event. In Gmail, the none of her events have alerts set. I'd like that to be how my iPhone shows them. I have tried to fix by deleting her calendar account and re-adding. Didn't work. I didn't have this problem before the upgrade to iOS 7. Events without reminders in gmail should not have reminders on my iPhone, right? I have the default alert time set to 5 minutes, but that should only control new calendar items, right? On my work calendar, event alert times are still controlled correctly (if the event has a 15 minute alert, it stays at 15 minutes). One last piece, I successfully upgraded my iPad without this problem happening there. Suggestions?
Did you automatically sync? If so, try manually syncing. At least this way, you will have control of the music you sync. No duplicates.

Add a custom alert monitor set in Central Reports of NWA 2004s
Hi,
I installed recently netweaver administrator 2004s to use central monitoring. I created a new CCMS monitor set with RZ20 and was hoping to see this set in the Monitoring -> Central Reports view set of the NWA (drop down box with all the Alert monitor sets defined in the CEN), but it wasn't there. Is there a way to add custom alert monitor sets created with RZ20 in the Central Reports "View Set" of the NWA ?
Thx

Exception: Cluster address must be set when clustering is enabled
Hi,
I've created a simple web service and deployed to a cluster. When i invoke the WSDL url (http://localhost/webservice/MyService?WSDL) through the browser i get the enclosed exception (listed at the bottom)
I can easily solve this issue by explicitly stating a cluster address witihin the admin console ( Environment->Clusters->Cluster Address:), however the documentation states that i do not need to do this. ( http://edocs.bea.com/wls/docs100/webserv/setenv.html#wp220521 )
Can someone clarify that indeed I need to explicitly declare a Cluster Address when deploying and invoking web services within a clustered environment.
Thanks

You will have to specify the address for the cluster to get this work. This was done because if cluster address is not specified, there were other issues that popped up.
Its works as designed.

Alert me setting - daily or weekly summary
When I add a alert to my document library, I get the confirmation that the alert has been succesfully created.
A daily or weekly summary does not work. Only an immediately alert works.
Does anyone have an idea?
ThanksTry running "stsadm -o getproperty -pn alerts-enabled -url http://sharepoint" from your box to start with.
This should confirm that alerts are enabled. Then run...
stsadm -o getproperty -pn job-daily-alerts -url http://sharepoint
and
stsadm -o getproperty -pn job-weekly-alerts -url http://sharepoint
This should return a value if set or false if not! If not, then this is your problem. To correct run...
stsadm -o setproperty -propertyname job-daily-alerts -url http://sharepoint -propertyvalue "daily between 22:00:00 and 06:00:00"
and
stsadm -o setproperty -propertyname job-weekly-alerts -url http://sharepoint -propertyvalue "weekly between Fri 22:00:00 and Mon 06:00:00"
Replace http://sharepoint with the relevant value for your site collection and the -propertyvalue with the required value and you should be away!

IOS5 Bug: How to Repeat Messages Banner When Repeat Alert Is Set x Times
Under Settings >> Notifications >> Messages, I have the following settings set
Notification Center: ON
Show: 10 Recent Items
Alert Style: Banners
Badge App Icon: ON
Show Preview: OFF
Repeat Alert: 5 Times
View in Lock Screen: ON
I noticed the Alert Style: Banner does NOT repeat, but the Alert Style: Alerts will repeat and initiate a popup. Does anyone notice this when the Repeat Alert option is set? It would prefer to get the Banner how ever many times it is set in the Repeat Alert.
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks. What you've described is the way it works. The Alert repeat applies to the Alert type of notification, not to the banner.
You can view the banner alerts at any time by swiping down from the top of the screen -

The name of the instance for which the threshold is set. This is NULL for database-wide alerts. In cases in which this parameter is not NULL, this should be set to one of the INSTANCE_NAME values found in the GV$INSTANCE View.
object_type
Either OBJECT_TYPE_SYSTEM or OBJECT_TYPE_SERVICE.
object_name
The name of the object.
Usage Notes
Note that this subprogram does not check if the value of the instance_name parameter is meaningful or valid. -

SushamaHi,
Step1:
1. Start the Exchange Profile via: http://<j2ee-host>:<http-port>/exchangeProfile
2. Select the section "RuntimeWorkbench" on the left frame.
a. check for parameter com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.httpsport, if not existingu2026..
3. Click on "New Paramter" on the right frame.
4. Insert the parameter name: com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.httpsport
5. Insert the https port of the Central Monitoring Server into the value field. You find the value of this parameter when you start the tcode SICF on the Central Monitoring Server. From the Menu "Goto" choose the entry "Port Information". Select the value from "Service" column of the row "HTTPS".
6. Click on "Save".
Step2:
Initiate RWB using URL - http://<j2ee-host>:<http-port>/rwb/rtc?op=init
Step3:
You may perform full CPA Cache Refresh only If you were allowed to perform.

Can I prevent calendar alerts from setting themselves?
I use my calendar constantly. After I add a new event I see that there are NO alerts set, this is how I would like it to stay. Once I am done, I move on and add another event. If I come back to that first event I had added and tap on it to see details, I also see that there are two alerts set for 10 minutes before the event. I then go back in and reset them to "none". This wastes a lot of my time. Is there a way to prevent this from happening? I'd like to keep them defaulted to no alerts unless I want to go in and set one occasionally. Any help you can give would be appreciated. Thanks!
You can't prevent users from resizing a pop-up.

Alert : Please set DoRevClassUpgrade=1 as the config entry
Webcenter Content 11g
Alert
•RevClass upgrade has been skipped due to a large number of records to be processed. Please set DoRevClassUpgrade=1 as the config entry to do the upgrade at next startup.
What's this mean?
How to solve this Alert?Hi ,
Check <domain home>/ucm/cs/data/alerts/alerts.hda
Stop the WCC server, and remove these two lines:
csRevClassesPopulateWarning
<$lcMessage('!csRevClassesPopulateWarning')$>
from alerts.hda, as well as the two blank lines that follow (if present). Restart WCC server.
Hope this helps .
Thanks
Srinath

Will Oracle release a new version of the schema processor soon, fully implementing pattern facet matches for strings? In accordance with the Last Call recommendation? Or will there be a wait while W3C puts together its release draft later this Summer
