Alert Messages - Can they be reset

I clicked the box "Do not show this message again" and now I would like to retrieve and reset the alert messages. Is there a way to do this? Thanks for any help!

If it is the alerts for when you delete a song or non-empty playlist, you can restore the setting with a free program I wrote, available here:

If it is a different alert, you have to close iTunes and delete your iTunesPrefs.xml file in<pre>C:\documents and settings\username\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes</pre>

Yes.
But if it's your iPhone, and you are old enough to support it, you can go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase all content and settings
This will clear the iPhone completely, and you can then set it up as your own device with your own ID, etc.

Has anyone done a configuration with CCMS monitoring, where we can have separate email alert for RED alerts and separate email for YELLOW email alerts?
I know we can use the method CCMS_TRIGGER_AUTO_REACTIONS, and define the RED and YELLOW methods as parameters...my question is while assigning as autoreaction method for individual node/MTE, where and how do we define the methods?....Do we assign CCMS_TRIGGER_AUTO_REACTIONS as the central auto-reaction method...or only the individual methods CCMS_OnAlert_Email_V2_yellow & CCMS_OnAlert_Email_V2_red ?

Will I be able to send alerts for Adapter Engine errors (Through the use of Alert Categories), if I am not using BPM?

Hi,
From your answer, can I confirm that alerts I defined in ALERTCATDEF can be used by for Non-BPM interfaces?
The essential difference between BPM and Non-BPM alert triggering is BPM allows a control step to trigger an alert.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Is your problem with streaming audio broadcasts to and are you outside the UK ?
If so you may have fallen prey to the BBC's Content Distribution Network which often seems to produce problems they keep re-issuing advice such as:

You can't. The only way to get songs in the Music app is to sync from a computer or to download from iTunes.

Yes.
On their iOS devices, under Settings>iTunes & App Store, they should use your Apple ID. When they log into iCloud, iMessage and Facetime, they should use their personal Apple IDs.

Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

"Current browser"? When viewing anything, or just when using an APEX app?
Ans .. Just when using apex app....even if the apex app is minimised ..The current browser will be the one where I am using apex app...
What i am looking for some scheduler .. to check ..in the table every 5 minute for change if there is a change..then a popup alert be shown...
Split it into [at least] 2 components, database and browser. I'd expect someone calling themself a "DBA Architect" to have some ideas about the database side of things, even if not clued up on JavaScript and AJAX?
I dont think its a database isssue... When i say to check every 5 minutes ..it could be easily done via dbms_scheduler ...I am having issue in getting the popup alert message...

Xi Alerts - Can a field in the payload be a part of the alert message?

I have a requirement in my alert configuration wherein a specific field in the message payload needs to appear in the Alert message. In the std configuration I see field containers for std things like message ID, services etc... but how do i pass payload fields in the alert
I am on Xi 3.0 Sp20... this a rfc to jdbc sync scenario... and we are not using BPM...

Hi,
you can send the fields of the payload in alert using the RFC call SALERT_CREATE...where you can the payload value...
you can call the RFC at the mapping level only like lookup or using some udf based on the field validaation.
but for standard cases you cannot....

You can go to the Mail page at http://icloud.com , click on the cogwheel icon at top right, choose 'Rules' and set up a rule that moves all messages from this person to the Trash. However there's no way of producing an 'undelivered' message.
As to deleting the account, this isn't possible; you can abandon using it and start another. If you do this, messages to it will pile up until the storage limit is filled, at which point they will be bounced with an 'Account over limit' message. Alternatively you could set up a 'Vacation message' in the Preferences which would inform anyone sending to that address that it was no longer in use.

IPhone in lost mode, if a person guesses the 4 digit passcode can they see/send messages and contacts etc?

I have lost my iPhone. Someone has found it. I got an email message when they turned it on and called it immediately. Unfortunately they turned it off, after the first call and now it goes straight to answerphone. It has been in lost mode for three days. My question is simple, if the person guesses the four digit passcode, can they send/see text messages and emails, can they see contacts etc. Do they need my apple id and password to access and use the phone or simply the four digit code?

Yes, i appreciate that. I do hope they don't, however the passcode is VERY simple... If they guess or if it was actually taken by someone that knows me or saw me enter the code, then can they use the phone normally once it's entered, will i get an email or will the phone come out of lostmode on the app? Sorry for the repeated question. I will shortly hit the 'this solved my question' button

You cannot make your @icloud.com address the login address for the ID. However you can change your ID, currently a Gmail one, to any other functioning non-Apple email address. The Gmail address would then no longer access your account, and so even if someone were to obtain posession of it (is that even possible) it wouldn't allow them to get into your account.
If you want to change your ID to another email address please follow the procedure outlined below, particularly noting the first step.
Firstly, if you have 'Find My iPhone/iPad/iMac' enabled on any of your devices, turn it off.
Create a new email address, for example at Yahoo or Gmail, or anywhere convenient (or you can use an existing address as long as it has never been associated with an Apple ID).
Go to http://appleid.apple.com and click 'Manage your Apple ID'. Sign in with the current ID.
Where it says 'Apple ID and primary email address' and gives your current ID email address, click 'edit'.
Enter your new address and click 'Save changes'.
Now you will need to go to each of your devices and sign out in System Preferences (or Settings)>iCloud - 'Sign out' on a Mac, 'Delete this account' on an iOS device (this will not delete the account from the server).
Then sign back in with your new ID. Your iCloud data will disappear from your devices when you sign out, but reappear when you sign back in.
I re-iterate: before you start, turn off 'Find My Mac' (or whatever) or you will need the services of Support.
