Alerts in SAPAPO P20

Hi All,
We got access to Alert Monitor last week and start using them, but on one of them getting error message  that missing authorization on Orders.
Could you please help where is the issue and what to do

Hello Ankit
When you will receive above authorization error, please immediately check SU53 for authorization object and other details.  Take a screenshot and share those details with your security team. Security team will be able to help you with missing authorization to particular characteristics.

  • How set up alert Monitor with available to promise profile?!

    Gurus,
    I read a lot of notes about alert profile but I ´ve been in doubt.
    I set the monitor alert in /sapapo/amon1:
    - Selected alert type
    - Selected some products and my allocation
    - Assigned alert profile - defined the bucket
    Check instruction:
    - Activated "ATP Alert Act."
    I vent seen any place to assign my alert profile in /sapapo/bop. Is it possible or necessary?
    When I redetermine the alerts for my profile in /sapapo/amon1 any alerts are showed.
    I don´t want to use macros to create alert.
    I created a scenary to see an alert:
    My scenary
    Availability: 100
    Order confirmed: 100
    I changed my orders to 50.
    Availability: 50
    Order confirmed: 100
    Execute alert monitor
    Result: No warning

  • Alert Profiles

    Hi All,
    I have a Issue with Alert profile the description of the same is under.
    We have configured an alert profile to generate Alerts for 7 Months(future periods) and I have assigned the same to my Userid so that I can see the alerts in the Interactive Demand Planning screen.
    When I call the Alerts screen from the Interactive demand Planning screen, I am able to see the alerts for all the seven months, however when I am checking the alerts from Alert monitor (/SAPAPO/AMON1), I am able to see alerts for only one month i.e the current month.
    Can anybody suggest as to where I am going wrong?

    Hi Raghu,
    Check whether you have assigned any selection IDs in your Alert Profile. You generally do this along with the planning book / data view assignment in your alert profiles. If you have assigned a specific selection ID to your alert profile, only alerts generated for those selection data is displayed in your alert profile. In interactive planning, you can however see alerts generated for other data as well. It is probably this difference that you are seeing in your case.

    I have configured Overall Profiles for Alert Determination in the Background using PP/DS alerts. Is there a way i can automaticall assign this alert to other users? Or the users should just assign it to themselves?

    In /SAPAPO/AMON1 - Alert Monitor  click on Favourite Management.
    Select the user from Favorites for User and than assign alert profile according to user role.
    Hope you have activated alert in IMG : Alert Monitor->Activate/Deactivate Applications in Alert Monitor.
    Alerts are shown in interactive planning (/SAPAPO/SDP94) but not in alert monitor standalone (/SAPAPO/AMON1): In interactive planning, whatever what selection profile you use to load the data in the planning book, the alerts are found since the system considers just the data as loaded in the planning book. However, in alert monitor standalone, the selection id defined in the alert profile plays a big role. The alerts will be shown depending on the objects defined in the selection id and the aggregation level defined in the job when generating the DB alerts. For instance, in case of resource, it is strictly necessary to use a selection id that has resources only. If the selection id contains also locations for instance, the system tries to find alerts linked to the location resource for which for which there are none because the alerts are on the resource level only.
    Alerts are generated but cannot be displayed in ALV grid: Check if there is a filter criterium in the layout which doesn't match with the existing alerts.
    By scheduling the program /SAPAPO/READ_ALERTS_BATCH , you can determine and save dynamic & existing DB  alert situations.
    Configuring Overall Profiles for Alert Determination in the Background  to use above program to generate alert.

  • Settings in Diagnosis group

    The diagnosis group in the Univariate profile associated wtith the Master profile has the settings for MAPE, MPE etc. These tolreance limits are also in the alert profile on the forecast tab. Which of these takes precedence if the values are different in both the places?

    The settings you maintain in the Diagnosis Group can give you the Forecast alerts which will be available to view ONLY in the Planning Book without the need to do any further configuration. BUT these alerts will NOT be seen in Alert monitor with just the Diagnosis Group.
    "As per note 375965, the settings of alert monitor in Tcode /SAPAPO/AMON1 does not influence the generation of alerts." - this means that, having an alert profile or the setting in the Alert Profile(/SAPAPO/AMON1) does not lead to generation of the alerts in the first place, its the diagnosis group that is the trigger for these alerts.
    BUT If you want to see the alerts in the Alert Monitor classified as an Error (Red ) message, Warning (Yellow) message, OR just Information (Blue) Message, then you HAVE to create a Forecast Alert profile and maintain these tolerance limits for the respective Error metrics in the Alert Monitor. In either case having a Diagnosis group is a prerequisite.

    Hello,
    Freeze alerts are used to Put alerts on hold with the freeze/unfreeze tool. After a refresh, new alerts are marked with a + and alerts that have disappeared are marked with a -, as compared to the last frozen alert situation.
    This is used to Simulate the alerts for creation and view the impact of the alerts created and then can mak the decision to save or to unfreeze the alerts.

    1.. Please pay attention:
    "The /SAPAPO/DELETE_LC_ANCHORS program must not run during the upgrade or
    during the download/upload procedure (see Note 632357). Otherwise, you
    may experience a loss of data." - SAP note 1064405.
    If you are running upgrade or migration =>
    you could see "CCMS ALERT--- /SAPAPO/DELETE_LC_ANCHORS".
    Check/fix it only after the upgrade/migration was finished.
    2. If you are NOT running the upgrade/migration =>
        check the LCA connection settings in LC10-> Integration
       In Administration report Tab In the "Postprocessing" field of the "Initialize liveCache"
       subarea of the "Configuration of application-specific functions" area, enter the report name
        "/SAPAPO/DELETE_LC_ANCHORS" in change mode, save.
        Do NOT initialize the liveCache in LC10 after that, if it's not recommended by SAP support and it's not a brand new installation.
        Please review the SAP note 640107.
    3. I recommend you to use the /n/sapapo/om13 -> check, review the red lights, click on 'i' info box & see the hints how to fix it.
        If you still have questions/problems to fix the red lights in /n/sapapo/om13 -> check
        => create the SAP message to the BC-DB-LCA component & get SAP support.

  • BADI /SAPAPO/AM_ALERTLIST - How to fill values in new field catalogue

    Hi,
    I need some help for passing values into the field Catalog of an ALERT Monitor.
    The requirement is to add new fields in the ALERT Monitor and then populate them with values form the PRODUCT view.
    I have implemented method MODIFY_ALERTLIST of BADI /SAPAPO/AM_ALERTLIST. I am able to add the new columns but I am unable to add the values. Actually while debugging i found that even though the NEW values are going into the table T_ALERTS, but the space between the New Added values and the original value is HUGE. Therefore when the Field Catalog is displayed in the Alert Monitor, the NEW Values are not shown.

  • Short dump while running Alert Monitor

    Hi,
    I am getting a short dump while determining alert in Alert Monitor through T. Code /SAPAPO/AMON1. The error says as below:
    Runtime Errors         BCD_NO_SIGN
    Short text : A packed number contains no sign.
    What happened? : Error in the ABAP Application Program, The current ABAP program "SAPLKKBL" had to be terminated because it has come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.       
    Information on where terminated : Termination occurred in the ABAP program "SAPLKKBL" - in "FB_OUTTAB_SORT2".

    Please checkon the following
    1) In the overall profile of alert monitor, check the relative
    time interval whether specified correctly
    2) Under the alert profile in Overall profile, check the
    threshold values are defined correctly
    3) Check the SAP Note 151709 , 189061
    Please confirm your findings.

  • Change PPDS Alert Email Format

    Hi,
    I ran the ppds alerts in the background with program /sapapo/read_alerts_batch and set up the email profiles in /sapapo/amon1 Goto menu "Alert Determination in the background". When the background job runs, it did trigger an email to the user. However, the format of the PPDS alerts are totally different from the alert monitor. It only has the location description and product description displayed but not the product codes and location ids.
    Does anyone know if this can be done via a config change somewhere or BADI?

    Ruth - Did you figure out how do we get the actual alert message in the email and not just a vague msg. I am facing the same issue and need a resolution.

        We are using Data base alert macros for day's supply of SNP.But it seems macros are not working.Planning book day's supply key figures value not refelcting in alert monitor(amon1).
    our setting is 0-30 days-Information;
                         31-50-Warning;
                         above 51-Error

    Hi Venkadesh,
    I think you put your indicator upside down.
    0 to 30 should be error and avobe 51 information.
    Another comments: to check if the macro is working: after running it, in interactive or background, check table /SAPAPO/AM_ALERT to see if you can see the alert or not.
    If you can see the alert in the table but not in the profile, then the issue is your profile; if you can't see your alert in the table neither, then the issue is the alert creation in the macro...
