Alerts like Netware messages

For issueing important messages to users currently I am using message built in. This serves the basic purpose but at the same time these messages disturb the user while they are working on something else. I do want the users to get the message but the message box should be something like netware message where the message box pops up minimized and does not interfere with current working of the user.
Does somebody has any idea?
I do not want to send E-mail to users. I tried calling another form in the minimized state but it screws up the current form the user is working in.

did you try the NO_ACKNOWLEDGE in message()?
But it may not be as perfect as you expected. I am not sure if there is other way to support netware sort of thing, Java bean etc?

I'm trying to see if I can add an alert or reminder message for the end user who will be filling in a form that I'm creating from Acrobat Pro X.
Does it require a script if so, could anyone share one that is already exists?
If it doesn't need a script, how can I set that up?
What I want to do, is to remind end-user to fill in Numbers Only and not text. I have already set my properties for numbers only and provided an example. But, In-case end users did not understand, I'd like to have a message for them to say that they must type in number and not text.
Currently, with the limitation I've made, they couldn't type in any letters but, they might be frustrated and not fill in anything!

Is it correct to put that code under VALIDATE > run custome validate script, within the Properties box?
Because I tried it, and it worked only AFTER I typed a number onto the field.
Since my goal is to have the alert BEFORE, so if someone typed in a text, they should see the alert and correct themselves to type in a number instead.
Please clarify.

Raising alerts if no message processed

Hi,
I would like to to raise an alert if NO message is prossed in the scheduled window for eg : 3 - 5pm every day for particular receiver channel ? As I dont have any control on the IDoc sender.

This requirement may not be possible in XI/ PI. May be setting alert logic in your receiver system would help.

Now I here again, my Mac os X version is 10.7.5
Prosessor is 2.66ghz intel core 2 duo
memory 4gt 1067 mhz DDR3
Graphic card: NVIDIA GeForce 9400 256 MB
After effects version is 11.0 if I am checking it right
I have used after effects about three mounths and suddenly it just quiet working. That´s not good for my work. Luckily I got almost everything in premiere pro. Because I can´t even use files from AE in Premiere pro.
I have rebooted machine.
I haven´t reinstall AE yet. I will.
How do I trash preferences and from where? I cannot open AE at all.

Mails/Alerts-triggered for messages stuck in queues and failed in moni

Hi,
I have two doubts.
1) Messages are getting stuck in smq2 of my ECC and PI system. I have to manually push them. Is there any mechanism in which we can get alerts/mails when messages get stuck in queues.
I have already gone through the blog /people/santhosh.kumarv/blog/2009/05/19/sap-xipi-alerts-for-queue-errors and I have implemented it in ECC system. But no mails were generated.
2)Is there any method in which I can get alerts/mails when a message fails in sxmb_moni of ECC system?

I made a report with the following code in it and executed it. So I think that should work even if the job for it is not scheduled. There were messages stuck in queue. But no alert was generated. I had also created alert category in ECC.

Is there a way to still get audible alerts of new messages without having any banners or text appear in the lock screen?

I'm trying to make sure I am doing this correctly. How do you set up alerts for both text messages and iMessages so that even when the phone is locked you will still get an audible or vibration alert as soon as the message is received? And is there a way to do this without having any text appear on the lock screen that shows who the message is from. My phone stays in locked mode most of the time but I still want to recieve alerts for new messages as soon as they arrive. I'm also concerned about privacy so I don't want any text or preview or even any information about the sender to appear on the lock screen. I just want a vibration or audible alert.

Open the Settings app > Notifications > Messages. Scroll down adn turn OFF "View In Lock Screen". You may want to consider setting Alert style to none, but this will not impact what happens when the screen is locked.

even maybe not on Windows (I faced this on Unix), proceed with invalid objects as in : Note 1453935 - Invalid DataPump objects after Windows patch collection > 25
this is the leftover of some previous 10g patching. Once objects are recreated, recompilation will go ok.

you can trigger alert for any of the component failure.
for this u nees the ccms configuration.
than you need to configure in RZ20 and RZ21.
steps.
1. create alert category in ALRTCATDEF
2.enter long text
3. add fixed recepient.
4.go to RZ21.
5. select display overview for method
6. serch for method CCMS_Send_Alert_to_ALM.
7. copy the method and create ur own Z method.
8. open ur method.
9. under control tab select ONLY IN CENTRAL SYSTEM TRIGGERED BY CCMS AGENTS.
10. in parameter tab give ur alert cat created before.
11.under release tab select AUTO REACTION METHOD.
12. go to RZ20.
13. a list of system will be displyed select ur own xi system
14. now select the queue name for which u want to trigger alert.
15.goto property button and double click.
16. go to method tab and click on method assigment.
17. goto method radio button and assigne the method u created in RZ21.
done.....enjoy....

I struck to the use of Alert and Fault message type.
(a) Can we use Alert in scenarios without BPM ? If yes where can we use?
(b) Can we use Fault Message Type in scenarios except Proxy ? If yes, how?

Hi Rabi,
In order to use Alert for your File to File scenario, you need to setup Alert Configuration.
To configure alerts, you need to create the following:
1. Alert Categories in tcode ALRTCATDEF
- Here you need to define the alert message that will be sent once error occured and alert has been triggered. You would need to define here the recipients who will receive email notifications about the error message.
2. Alert Rules in Runtime Workbench
- Here you need to define which alert category you would use based on the rules you set. You can define if the error is in the Integration Engine or in Adapter Engine (for errors in File Communication channels). Also, you need to define condition for the alert by selecting the sender and receiver systems, interfaces that would be involved for the alert.

Settings>General>Network>Roaming>Data Roaming>Off. If you really want to be absolutely certain, Settings>General>Network>Cellular Data>Off.

Warning message behave like error message why

I have done a simple test program where i have put
MESSAGE W015(ZXXX) with "XXXXXX"
and this when i execute will bahave like error message
I even did like MESSAGE I0015(ZXXX) with "Xxxxx" display like I. and this also behave like error message
Note: my code is found between the start or selection and end of selection

That is the normal behaviour for warning messages issued in START-OF-SELECTION (as already suggested, check the documentation).
If you want your program to issue a message and continue running (for example the behaviour of the status message) yet show it like a Warning message, you can use the DISPLAY LIKE addition (only in newer releases):
START-OF-SELECTION.
MESSAGE s000(oo) WITH 'test' DISPLAY LIKE 'W'.
WRITE sy-uzeit.

It works, but there were no alerts posted when messages were received, either on my Mac or my iPhone!
Anyone else?

When a reply was received to a message I sent my iPhone gave its customary incoming message sound. The computer was powered off; no idea if any alarm was sounded or sidebar alert was flashed.

Error message behaving like Abort Message

In my program code , there is a error message written, but when this error message is triggered it is displayed as ABORT message and it is skipping the transaction.
SORT zt5.
READ TABLE zt5 INDEX 1.
IF sy-subrc <> '0'.
MESSAGE e208 WITH 'No tiene vistas autorizadas'.
ENDIF.
Could any one tell the reason why it is happening.

Hi Kasturi,
if you issue a ERROR message in "PBO/ AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT it behaves like ABORT message.
if it is of type "WARNING/INFORMATION then it behaves
as "SUCCESS message(On the Status BAR)
