Alerts Missing Remarks/Text

Hello Experts here is the scenario
USER A
USER B
User A goes into SAP creates a sales order adds the order alert pops up. User A writes in the Remarks and sends saves.
User B gets the email and decides to authorize it. User B is able to see the USER A remarks with ease. User B authorizes the order with a remark.
User A gets email which shows accepted order. User would like to see remarks but cannot see the text button is grayed out.
neither USER A nor USER B remarks/text are visible.
I believe that this is a must and only makes sense for the remakrs to be visible
if in the above scenario the sales order is accepted but with a condition,
The person adding the order will not see the condition
Thank you.

Hi Alexander,
Based on your description, my understanding is that the characters are missing in the alert emails.
Was there any customization on the default alert template or did you use custom alert template instead?
I recommend to check the outgoing email setting for the web application where the announcement list exists to see if the Character set is 65001 (Unicode UTF-8).
Please go to Central Administration > Application Management > Manage web applications > highlight the corresponding web application and then click General Setting and select Outgoing E-mail.
To narrow the issue scope, please create a new list and then test the alert to see if the issue still occurs.
Best regards.
Thanks
Victoria Xia

  • No Voicemail But Missed Call Text Alert

Hi EE, I'm new to EE, previously I've been on Vodafone and O2.  With them I always had a feature where I revieved missed call text alerts when ever my phone was unavailable with no signals either in Underground Tube, Indoors or if the phone was swithced off without having to activate voicemail. Do you have anything similar or can you please provide such feature at your earliest.  Thanks.

Yes, EE do have this, but I think you do need your voicemail enabled to allow this as the setting to switch this on or off is in the voicemail settings menus.

  • An answer: Do you miss your texts when on duty?

I use my iPhone for a pager and when I am in the garage and other places making noise, I often miss the notification. Note the pager is a text message, that just rings, then goes away. It is not a phone call that someone knows is unanswered. I am expected to take each pager call and expected to hear it. So a problem for me as I have to put my life on hold when on pager duty for fear of missing the notification.
BUT, it turns out, if you plug your iPhone into an external speaker [through the headphone plug, not the docking station connector], the ring tone is amplified! OK so maybe you all knew this, but I did not. So for example, on my push bike was always a time I missed the text tone. Even though I had it maxed out on loudness, and with vibration on, I could not hear it above the wind rushing through my helmet. Nor could I feel it. Incredible the number of pager notifications I missed that way.
Now no problem; I wear one or two earphones, the ear bud type and I can hear the ring tone, stop and take the pager. In my shed, plugged into an external speaker, I have no problem hearing it. Note that I don't play music or stuff through the earphone or speaker, though I guess you could. On my bike I just have the buds in my ears and when the pager goes off, I hear it.
Problem solved for me in a very elegant way; I wish I had discovered this earlier.
I hope my answer to an unasked problem helps at least one of you.

You can also set text alerts to repeat up to 10 times. Settings>Notifications>Messages>Repeat Alert.

  • Setting audible missed call/text reminder on 6600 ...

    Hi,
I can't figure out out to set the audio/vibrate reminder for missed calls/texts on the 6600 slide.
As it is now, every time I get out of the shower, or wake up or anything else, I have to take the phone out and physically check the screens to see if I've missed an important call or message.
Also, since this phone doesn't vibrate very strongly, you can miss a text if you happen to be walking at the time. That's why I really need to find where in the menus you set the reminder tones on.
    Any hints?

you should be able to customize your profile to notify you either with signal/chirp or via vibrate that it is coming. this is a s40 phone so i am not very familiar with that, but it is worth a try. let us know if this is what you were looking for
That defines the alert when the message arrrives.
What the OP wants is constant audible reminders after the fact so that the phone keeps on nagging you until you've read the messages or made anote of the missed calls.

  • Modify Standard CCMS Alert E-Mail Text

    Hi ALL,
I have configured CCMS Monitoring and its working Perfect.
Alerrt E-Mails are generated, but the Text of these E-Mail is Techno savvy and cryptic.
Is there any way I can Modify/Customize the CCMS Alert E-Mail Text.
    Thanks

    Hi,
Auto reaction methods triggered in sattelite systems are sent to client 000 and then through SMTP server to the external mailing address.
In central auto reaction methods we make use of info sent by CCMS agents to trigger an alert in the central Solman system using the custom created central auto reaction method, assigned to a specific MTE class for a  satellite system.
this is the new method modified to be able to do the configurations from the central system itself instead of doing the setting in the individual satellite systems, and as it makes use of ccms agents its faster.
the configuration is same almost in both cases, just go through 455140 S-note, and follow the similar steps in solman system.
Please let me know if any problems,
    Thanks,
    Regards,
    Kaustubh.

  • ALERT Category Lont Text (email) fomatting

I have Alert Management configured to send an email alert correctly. I need some formatting for the email and therefore I choose to edit the alert category long text using SO10 ( remembering that the Text-id is ALRT ). while editing the Alert's Long Text using SO10, I add bolding, paragraph formatting and some IF statement as I would in a sapscipt for as commands. Print Preview of the newly updated standard text ( example used ALRTFRMWRKTESTL for SAP supplied alert category ASRTFRMWRKTEST ) show the formatting looks great, but when we triger the alert and view the correponding email based on this long text, we find the formatting is lost. Is there a way to hae the formatting show in the email?

    Hello,
I Think you are able to send the email with HTML tags.
You can also use the famous FM ZOUTLOOK to send email with the format you want, but you can only do it with you oulook client.
    hope this helps

  • HTML in Alert Category Long Text?

    Hi All,
Can I include HTML in the Alert Category Long Text and have it show in the alert email that's sent out?
    Thanks,
    J Wolff

I donot think this would be possible...but i maybe wrong...
The reason is that the content type set by the alerting framework for the mail that it sends is "text/plain", so even if you have html tags it would just be interpreted as plain text only...
If by some chance we can set the alerting framework to send emails with a content type "text/html"..then it would be possible..
    Thanks,
    Renjith

  • Using the paste options randomly misses out text, don't use it and use the 'Paste Special...' option instead (MS Outlook)

Also there seems to be no obvious way to report Office bugs.  This is leaving little room for improvement.  Not sure if there has been any planning on this front???
For example, [MS Outlook] using the paste options randomly misses out text, (don't use it and use the 'Paste Special...' option instead).  But how do I communicate this to the Office team without knowing at least one of the team personally (which I
    don't)???

    Hi,
Do you have this issue when pasting in other programs?
If you are pasting something into Outlook, some formats and images may get lost, especially when you choose the Paste Options as Keep Text Only.
Once you have this issue again, please try with "Keep Source Formatting". This may keep the Sour Formatting and you may not get the text lost.
If you have any feedback when using our products, I suggest you press Ctrl + Alt + 7 or Ctrl + Alt + 8 to submit it. Microsoft will always listen to users' voice and make the products better and easier to use.

  • Disable Popup Alerts While Writing Text or Email?

Is there any way to disable the annoying alerts that pop up while you're in the middle of writing an email or a text? I'll be right in the middle of typing something and the alert will pop up; next thing I know I've hit the alert with my thumb and {{ whoosh }} off I go into some completely other place. It's so freaking annoying! But I don't want to disable the alerts all together--only while I'm typing. Alerts are the only way I know if I received a message since the iPhone has no blinking light or other reminder.  Anyone else annoyed by this? Any known fixes/workarounds/solutions out there?

They're email alerts. When I'm typing a text message or email and I receive a text or an email, the alert for that text or email pops up right in the middle of my screen while I'm typing (see picture) so I accidentally hit the alert and either hit "Close" or "Options" by accident. If I hit "Options," I've sometimes accidentally hit "Trash" and then I have no idea what the alert was even for. I use my iPhone for business and I've lost opportunities because I've accidentally trashed things.
Surely I can't be the only person this is happening to.

Will the receive the missed calls/texts when you turn the do not disturb button back off?

remove case and screen protector- make sure mute swith is off - clean out headphone hole with compressed air
    then if no result
    reset all settings
    settings-general-reset-reset all settings
    now reconnect to wifi
settings- wifi- click network name- enter password - join
if issue persists back up and restore as new via iTunes
    if still persists have repaired

  • All text behaviors are missing except Text Animation

Final Cut Studio 2 installed several weeks ago. I started up Motion 3 for the first time today. Upon clicking "Add Behavior" icon all of the text behaviors are missing except Text Animation. (ie. Text-Basic, Text-Fade, Text-Glow, etc). Am I missing something? Thanks.
