Alerts through Solman

Hi all,
I am using ECC6, BW 7, PI 7.2... I would like to setup Alert monitor through Solution Manager 7.2.
Should I have to go each PRD server and setup RZ20 CCMS alert, or I can direct setup in solman and add all logical server(s) in solman ?
our enviornment already setup for EWA, but we want to setup Alerts through solman
I download ADM106 and ADM107 but all of shows CCMS monitoring...
please advise or guide me step by step procedure... or any short cut

I think you much understand what I am trying to saying, I know how to setup RZ20 and RZ21 and
auto-reaction method, go to each system and setup MTE values for different nodeu2026
But my problem is differentu2026
I would like to setup through solution manager from all server MTE, I donu2019t want to touch any production server and setup MTE at this timeu2026 I just want to setup all server add in solution manager and want alerts will show, when ever getting any problem
Example here:-
Right now I login one by one system Go to RZ20  SAP CCMS monitor Templates  buffers  server-name  Table space  and its shows swap memory too high with RED color
I like to see same thing shows in solution manager (donu2019t need to login each system and check)
Is there any way to setup please let me know or just point out step by step 1..2..3..4.. what I need to do ?
I know it will take little time you guys but that would be really help for me

Hi Eco
You mentioned, you want to stop BPMon alert e-mail right.
If I understand your situation correctly, you might already setup BPMon and activate.
To setop the BPMon alert, you can remove e-mail notification setting from BPMon session where you setup
monitoring object, key figure threshold value.
In your BPMon setup session, under the specific business process step to that you assigned some monitoring objects,
you may see area called "notification".
Here you might defined e-mail sender and receiver setting, also condition to send e-mail.
So if you remove your setting in this area (leave it blank) you will not receive e-mail alerting to that monitoring object.

I am getting the alerts generating in the RZ20 in the target system but not getting the alerts on mail. (attached image)
Anyone have any idea?

Can you please check the standard job SAP_CCMS_MONI_BATCH_DP is running in your system, which sends the alerts from RZ20 to SOST. If not schedule, please schedule the same and check after this job completion.

Alerts through Email Using BPM

Hi Friends,
can anybody help me on BPM as i am new to BPM.I need a help from you , i want to send an alert through Email using BPM can any body send me a sample scenario related to this one.

In BPM you create the Alerts. In Alert Configuration (in RWB) you can define for each Alter Category whether it is to be forwarded via Email.Prerequisites for that:
1. XI/PI must have been configured to send Mails (SMTP)
2. All receivers must have maintained an Email Adress in SU01
3. Only users defined in XI/PI can get the mails.
4. Schedule the regular sending of Emails out of the XI/PI system using transaction SCOT
5. The Mail Server (Lotus Domino or Exchange Server) must accept Mails from XI/PI system (Server and Port). Ask your Mail Guys.
6. If you do not define the Mail Server as IP address in SMTP configuration take care that the XI/PI is able to resolve Server Name to IP Address (e.g. by maintaining local hosts ob XI/PI).

Alert through emails

Hi Experts,
Is there any possibility to send SAP B1 alerts on email to the users.
While creating alerts through alert management,there are several check boxes like SMS,email etc.I tried sending alerts through email but not succeeded.
My requirement is to send the alerts to all SAP users through message and also through email.
Kindly help me out.

Dear Experts,
Following are the steps i performed in order to receive email alert
1. Created a user with email id.
2. I selected minimum stock deviation alert.
3. I checked both internal and email.
4. Did a goods receipt and a sales invoice to trigger the relevant alert.
5. Internal got triggered now wish to know how to get the same through email.
6. Is there any references available from SAP?
7. Can SBO Mailer be used for the same? Do guide.
As guided further these steps were also followed,
1. SBO Mailer setup
2. Give SMTP server in the general settings.
3. Test connection proved successful
4. Checked Send notification by internal mail
5. Connect Database
6. Schedule based on minute
In spite of all these done the alert did not generate through Email. The version imy client is on is SAP B1 2007B PL15, Could you be kind enough to guide how the same can be perfomed.

Configuration Report through Solman

Hello Experts,
I mapped all the configuration activities for MM, SD,HR,etc modules in solar02 and consultants are doing configuration in dev system through solution manager. Now my query is how we can show that or figure out that we have done configuration through solman in dev system??
Is there any Tracebility functionalityor other functionality is available to check this in solman or dev system?

You can have the reporting using SOLAR_EVAL txn code since it has the reporting functionality based on the Configuration Tab in SOLAR02.

CCMS alert through Solution Manager

Hi,
Is anyone can tell me how to setup CCMS alert through Solution manager for R/3 system landscape
how many step are req.
This means that system alerts which occur in the local CCMS, are passed to the SAP Solution Manager via RFC connections between the SAP Solution Manager and the satellites. The system shows these alerts in a graphic or in Sessions.
I would like to handle the alerts, without having to go to the local CCMS of the satellite systems.
I will really appriciated for step by step procedure...

Automatic sending of Alert through e-mail

Hi All
We have one alert which is generated with a query. Now afteer generating this alert we want to have system to send automatically this alert to some recepient via e-mail.
Now will you please tell me the procedure to be follwed to integrate this so that the generated alert is e-mailed to selected employee of the organisation.

Sorry for the delay in replying to your suggestion as there was some problem in our system for which communication was not possible. Any way after going through the settings as you have advised we could not get the required result i.e. alerts are not been sent through mail. We have outlook integration installed and in "Administration ==> Add-ons ==> Outlook Integration ==> Deafoult Settings" check box "Sent E-mail via MS Outlook" is set. Till then alerts are not been sent to email of the user.
Please suggest what else to do.

Sorting alerts in SOLMAN Alert Inbox by time of the alert

Hello Pankaj,
In Workcenters sorting Alerts is done a bit differently than in DSWP > Solution Monitoring > System Monitoring.
When you are in System Monitoring Work Center > Alert Inbox - Then on the top right hand corner is the Settings link.
>Click settings and select the sort tab.
>Here you can select the columns to sort the Alerts on.
>You can choose Server, Instance, Full Name, Current Status and System. Additionally you can specify the sort direction ( >Ascending/Descending ).
>You can specify more than one field.
>Once done click apply, to apply the sort, and/or clcik save to save the sort criteria.
Actually this is a much more powerful sort feature here in Workcenter than in DSWP > Solution Monitoring > System Monitoring where you clicked the header of the column and pushed either the sort ascending or sort descending bush buttons.
I do hope this help solve your problem in solman_workcenter.

I have a scenario where in whenever a CIC agent creates a complaint in the CIC web client a workflow is to be triggered which would send alerts to the agent to inform the customer about the status of the ticket.
My query is how can we send alert to CIC web client through workflows.What are the settings that we need to do for this...

To test if your Alerts have been defined correctly, go to SE38. type RSALERTTEST and then click on execute it will ask you for your ALERTCATEGORY, give the name of your ALERT CATEGORY and click execute.
If you configured alerts properly you will get a message that tells "alert is generated" and will give the ALERT ID.Now, go to RWB open ALERT INBOX and see if you have got the alert message in your ALERT INBOX.

Looked through the forum and could not find an answer. Is it possible to receive and e-mail when a new voicemail is left on my Iphone? I often don't have my phone with me but am near a PC and want to know when I receive voice messages.

Alert through mail

I am getting alerts in the alert inbox(RWB). But the requirement is to send the alert to the mail(Outlook). I did the required configurations in SU01 and SOST but still I am not getting any alert in my Outlook inbox.
Please provide me the steps to configure the alert to the outlook.

1Goto t-code SCOT; double-click SMTP and specify the mail-host and mail-port for the respective mail server.
2)Make the u2018Node in useu2019 check box as checked.
3)Click on the u2018Internet->Setu2019 button under u2018Supported address typesu2019 to specify the email-address of the recipient
4)Goto Menu->Settings->Default Domain and specify the domain id of the company.
5)Save the settings done in SCOT.
Testing:
1)To test our alert configurations run the report u2018RSALERTTESTu2019.
2)Specify the alert category that we have created in ALRTCATDEF. Execute(F8).
