Alerts to admin before expiry of the document

Hi EveryOne,
I have created a folder in documents folder of KM Content. Then, I Enable Time Based Publishing Process. And, I set values for Valid From and Valid Until in Life time tab of each document in the folder. This process has done successfully. Here, I need an Alert message to the particular user before document expiring.
Pls some one give tips to me.

Hi Venkat,
Ther is no such mechanism implemented within the standard. Anyhow, you can implement your own scheduler task which works like the ones for the TBP service do, but checks not if the actual time as later than the ValidUntil value but if it <i>will be</i> later in x minutes / hours / days, and in such a case, create a mail to some admin or the creator of the document.

Sounds like the user settings of the Office installation is set to Admin. Has the installation been done by some script?
You can check if this is the case by looking at the File - Options and have a look of what the username is set to. I think it would be relatively easy to ask the user to enter their initials.

Hello, i have one question. Please help me with indesign... i have prepared photoshop document with pantone color in channel pallete... This photoshop file i have imported in indesign document and when i export it from indesign to pdf so color (pantone) overlay over cmyk... i have pantone color just for parcial paint not for proof for customer.
For example: i need to disable all pantone colors before i export document into pdf file. It is very clear process what i need to do but without find some solution. I know about pallete preview in window/output/... in indesign but this do not fix it! Please help.

Ok... i understand to overprint process... i have spot color (pantone) in imported image because of preparation to partial varnish... but i'm wondering how can i export the indesign document to pdf without the spot color which recolores my design recolored and i can't it send to customer...

Approval Status of all the documents which were in 'Approved' state, now showing as 'on going' status after migration to SP 2010.

I have recently migrated my SharePoint 2007 portal to SP2010, However, to my surprise i have noticed all the documents in different document libraries are having 'Approval status' as 'On going' status which suppose to be 'Approved' status.
I mean, before migration all the documents status was 'Approved' and after migration it is showing as 'on going'.
This is absolutely incorrect, can someone help in this.
How can i retain all the documents status as 'Approved'

In UCM, can I keep the documents invisible before admin approves it

Guys,
I have an idea.
User A uploaded a document to UCM, but I don't want the document shows on UCM until administrator approves it.
Is there anything I could do to make it happen?

My workflow on Document Library needs to keep logs of:
- When a user is assigned the document for approval/rejection, did he actually open it or download it before approving?
How to get this information please in workflow logs please? (I know this information exists in SharePoint Audit logs but that does not work for me - I need this in workflow logs).

That means you are looking at the form online with a browser that uses its own (incompatible) PDF viewer, not the Adobe Reader plugin.
Either
download the form to your local disk and fill it from there

I have no idea what you're talking about. Are you sure it want a "signature" and not "password"? If it asks you for password then the document is encrypted and you need to know the password toopen it. The fact that it is a "public" PDF, whatever you mean by "public" does not mean anything. If it is not that then:
Which product are you using, which version (including minor), which platform (Win/Mac), which OS/version? Please, include screenshots of the alerts, warnings that you get.

Why I cannot open in my Mac the documents of Pages open before in iPad after download the new version of this aPPLICATION?

I bought the Page application. I download the new version in my Ipad. When i wish open a document in my Mac, if I have openned before in my Ipad, I can´t. If you want to use documents created by the iOS 7 version of Pages, with Pages on your Mac, then you must upgrade your Mac to OS X Mavericks and update Pages to the newest version that only runs on Mavericks.
The only alternative would be if Pages for iOS 7 allows you to export the document for Pages for Lion.

InCopy workflow in InDesign: Is there a way to find the document in which an ICML file has NOT been checked IN again before saving the doc?

The situation:
We are working with the InCopy feature (checking in and checking out ICML files).
The problem:
I might have saved a document with an ICML file still checked out.
The question:
Is there a way to find out which document was saved with the ICML file still checked out?
or in other words:
Is there a way to find the document in which an ICML file has NOT been checked IN again before saving the doc?

thank you for your answer and your reasonable recommendation. Unfortunately, this only works when the ICML content is used in one INDD file. In our case, we use ICML content in multiple docs (various manuals with the same safety instructions, warranties, adresses etc.).
So, is there a way to trace back where an ICML has been used?
Is it possible to find out in which document the ICML is still checked out?
