Aliases Mobile Me Vs Icloud - Unexpected result.

Hi!
I just migrated from Mobile Me to icloud. I was using all available alias spots (let's call them 1,2,3,4 for the order they were created).
I understood that existing Mobile Me accounts could keep their aliases. I can receive email to all of my aliases now under icloud, but I can't send from Alias 1. Which is a problem, because Alias 1 is what I use for my business correspondence, and have been using since about ten seconds after I created my mobile me account and realised that the dumb user name I chose would become my email address forevermore. Alias one doesn't show up under the alias tab either, but I emailed it and I did get the email, so I know it's working.
I hope someone has an idea...

All the aliases should have migrated properly. You could try MobileMe Support (I know you're on iCloud but there is no free support for that unless you happen to have AppleCare, and MobileMe Support have helped some people). Go to http://www.apple.com/support/mobileme/ww/ and select your country. In the next window click on a category to expand it, then on a subject to get a link to 'live chat'.

I'm completely up to date with Lion.
I'm trying to move from Mobile Me to iCloud, but get an "Unable to complete your move to iCloud because of an unexpected server error" message on my Mac Book Pro when I open system preferences, it tries to finish moving me to iCould, but fails and gives me the error message above.
My Mobile Me account status is saying I have been upgraded to iCloud.
I have already successfully completed the move on my iMac and two iPhone 4's?
I have tried repair permissions and deleted the keychain, but the problem still exists!
Can anyone provide a solution? I am getting very frustrtaed, as I have so much stuff to do, I didn't want to waist any time on this issue!

This lead me to the solution for my issue: deleting the ~/Library/Application Support/iCloud/Accounts folder.
I spoke to an Apple MobileMe Support girl and she was useless!
I've wasted over 24 hours trying to sort this issue out - not a happy Apple user!

last thing you can try would be go to settings, general, settings, reset all settings
if that does not work, a factory restore will be needed...

After 1st Gen iPod touch reset, cannot configure mail for Mobile Me or iCloud account

I recently reset my iPod touch 1st Gen, v. 3.1.3 (7E18) and have not been able to configure Mail to check the Mobile Me or iCloud mail server. I get an error msg that the user name or password must be incorrect, but they're not. I assume this is due to the old IOS not being up to date with iCloud technologies, but I was able to get mail on this device before resetting. I don't use it much for email, but do carry it on trips as a backup access device to get to mail and calendars. I dont really want to use Safari to check mail when there is a mail app for doing so.

Have you enabled iCloud and PhotoStream on yhour iPhone and Macs? Once you have the last photos taken by iPhoto will be uploaded to PhotoStream. That's the only iCloud photo sharing available from the iPhone and it's only to share with your other mobile devices, like the iPad, and your desktop Macs. PhotoStream only presents 100 photos for 30 days and then replaces them with the next 100 that you've taken since the first.

Network Model - Arcs create unexpected results

Hello Spatial Users,
I have created a road network using the "Automatic" Network Definition, loaded all the nodes and links, and everything seems to be OK. It all validates, links and nodes have the correct values. It is an undirected network.
I can create shortest paths, but the issue I'm having is arcs within the links are returning unexpected results. It is as though the start of the arc is used and then it follows the arc and jumps back to the end of the line - so the shortest path is not the shortest with all this jumping from start to finish of the arcs within the line string.
Do I need to convert the arcs to lines or am I missing something else? I was hoping that because it was 'undirected' this would resolve this issue.
We are using 11.1.0.6.0.

Hi, Kerryne,
NDM doesn't support arcs in its spatial path representation. For arcs it will only use start and end pt of the arc. You need to approximate arcs as linear segments for link geometry to get a more accurate path geometry.

Unexpected result from treenode.getPath() ???

I am using Jtree in application.
The tree is as following
- Desktop
      -C:\
          - Folder1
          - File2
     - D:\I want to expend the node Folder1 as selected node. To do that I got the FileNode Folder1 and do
TreePath path=new TreeaPath( folder1node.getPath() );
int row=tree.getRowForPath(path);
jtreetable.expend(row);
But the problem is with the path returned. I must get the path [Desktop, C:\, Folder1] but I am getting path [Folder1].
What I am doing wrong. Is there any other way to expend a particular node programatically ?

Unexpected Result with Application Process

Hi Everyone,
I have an application process which is producing unexpected results. The code is below. What does is, updates one table, then based on that update inserts some data into a different table. The process workes fine. However, when the table gets updated it updates by 2 when it should only update by 1. Does anyone see where i am going wrong?

There are no triggers on these tables im working with. A way to get around waht im tryin to do is have 2 application processes, one for the update and one for the insert. but to do this i would need them to be fired off using the same button.

Method from Random class yields unexpected results

I understand that the following code should generate a random integer within the range of 0 - 3, but the range is actually 0 - 4. Can someone tell me why it doesn't behave as expected? Could it be the version of Java I'm using?

Colors in JTable - unexpected result when scrolling

Looks like I'm having a problem with a JTable.
I have a list of items and they are distinguished by 2 colors (so the end-user can differentiate between them). Anyway, the table colors work ok but when using a JScrollbar the table receives an unexpected result � few of the first items (which are not identical) share the same color.

IMEI number is no use.
If you can't track it using find my phone.
Then report the lost to the local authority and your phone carrier.
