thanks for reply
As I know, iconButtonFormat makes item place the center.
The customer wants item to place right-middle side.

  • How to align a String value to the right side inside a table column?

    Hi,
    I have a text view inside a table column which is mapped to a string attribute. I need to align the text in the text view to the right hand inside the table column. But its always getting aligned towards the left side. I have tried by setting the <b>hAlign</b> property of Element properties of Text View to <b>right / forced right</b> but still the text is getting aligned to the left side.
    How do I align the String values in Text View towards the right hand side inside a Table Column?
    Thanks and Regards,
    Sayan Ghosh

    Hello Sayan,
    if i do get it right, you are adding an TextView element to a Table Cell. Then you should consider setting aligment within the particular cell. By calling:
    YourCell.setHorizontalAlignment(CellHAlign.RIGHT)

  • Alignment on a specific character in an af:table column

    Hello,
    I have an af:table with columns containing vehicle kilometer counter, average speeds, running hours... These values may contain décimals, but not always. And I would like these values to be aligned on the decimal separator (. or ,) in the table column. Could you tell me how to do this?
    The only solution I have found now is using text-align=right and using minFractionDigits/maxFractionDigits. Working, but not very attractive...
    Thank you for your help
    Stephane

    The approach used by you - seems to be fine for me.
    1) For aligning the text to the right, you would need to use the text-align:right as an inlineStyle property for the column.
    2) For formatting of numbers, you can use the specify the pattern directly-
    <af:column sortProperty="Salary" sortable="false"
    headerText="#{bindings.Employees.hints.Salary.label}"
    id="resId1c8" inlineStyle="text-align:right">
    <af:outputText value="#{row.Salary}" id="ot8">
    <af:convertNumber groupingUsed="true" pattern="###,###,###.000"/>
    </af:outputText>
    </af:column>
    Thanks,

  • Vertical Alignment in table columns

    Using JHeadstart 10.1.3.4.
    Different display types are differently positioned in table columns. Single text seems vertically centered; text fields with multiple lines are vertically aligned at the top of a table column; vertical radio buttons are vertically aligned at the bottom of a table column. The resulting display is quite messy.
    I have not found any formating option in JHeadStart that allows for controlling vertical alignment. Am I a missing something?
    If JHeadStart 10g does not support controlling vertical alignment directly, how should this be handled? Does JHeadStart 11g add such vertical alignment support?

    Hello,
    If you need anything special considering vertical alignment in tables, you can simply perform that in the resulting JSPX page. In other words, just alter the JSPX file to whatever you need.
    Save your customizations in JHeadstart using velocity templates, so your page is regenerateable while keeping your changes. See the JHeadstart Developers Guide on how to change such customizations in the templates.
    Also in release 11 there is no vertical alignment (yet); I suppose because for most tables, each row just has a single line and vertical alignment is therefore not needed. However, I have put it on the wish-list, so we will check on it later. Thanks!

  • Tables - Column vertical alignment

    Good day for everybody,
    I have a table with two columns. The first one has an inputText with 1 line. The second one has an inputText with 3 lines.
    So the row height is calculated to fit the multiline object and, by default the inputText of the first line is bottom aligned.
    I tried to change the first columns vertical alignment by setting the InlineStyle - vertical-align property (setting it to top or middle) but nothing happend.
    So, the question is: How can I change the vertical alignment of the inputText of the first column so it is center or top aligned in its table cell? (Unfortunately I couldn't find this out by myself).
    Thanks in advance for any help.
    A.Gurisatti

    Try nesting your text in a CellFormatted. You can also try nesting it with in a panelGroup. If you are attempting to algin you text with css there is some browser dependencies in play.

  • JDeveloper 10.1.3.4: text-align for table column has no effect

    Hi,
    I am using JDeveloper 10.1.3.4. In a tabe I have a column that displays numbers, which are left-aligned by default:
    Applied
    $50.00
    $2,160.00
    $50.00
    $2,260.00I want to have them aligned to the right to look neater:
    Applied
             $50.00
          $2,160.00
             $50.00
          $2,260.00Or better still, have the cell with the longest string aligned to the center, and all the other cells align to it by the decimal point:
        Applied
          $50.00
       $2,160.00
          $50.00
       $2,260.00I looked in the property inspector and the only thing that looks closest to the purpose is text-align. I set this attribute to right (text-align:right) for the column, and for the outputText, but neither has effect. Everything is still flush to the left. How to get it right?
    Thanks!
    Newman

    Hi, Branislav,
    Nice meeting you again.
    Last time the question was about formatting the total amount returned from the method, from String to Number, Re: JDeveloper does not handle expert SQL, cannot add query clause in view link, which can also format the number as currency.
    This time, your answer again solved my problem. I was looking in the inline styling section, and did not notice this property in the General section. Thank you so much for your help!

  • Move Table Column with AppleScript in Microsoft Word

    Microsoft Word has a flaw (in my opinion) with tables in that it aligns the left and right text with the margins rather than aligning the table columns with the margins. This results in sloppy tables, because the left and right borderlines lie outside the margins.
    I would like to fix the word tables by
    calculating the left cell padding and right cell padding in points and setting them to variables {left_pad,right_pad} respectively
    move left column by left_pad to the right
    move right column by right_pad to the left
    The script I was working on does not work, but I will post it to show my thought process as I hone in on my solution.
    tell application "Microsoft Word"
        --595 points is width of A4 paper
        -- Set page margin in points to variables
        set {l_margin, r_margin, t_margin, b_margin} to {(get left margin of page setup of active document), get (right margin of page setup of active document), get (top margin of page setup of active document), get (bottom margin of page setup of active document)}
        get {l_margin, r_margin, t_margin, b_margin}
        -- Set specific Paragraph margins
        -- NOTE: If you select a table thinking you wish to drag just the left margin to the right, or the right margin to the left, this code does not accomplish this because each cell has its own paragraph formatting. This code will set the margin for every single cell, because each cell has its own margins! (separate from padding).
        set para_sel to paragraph format of selection
        set paragraph format left indent of para_sel to (centimeters to points centimeters 0.5)
        -- Aligning left and right columns of table with the margins
        -- NOTE: There is a command to set left row indent, but not right row indent (very stupid of Microsoft)
    end tell

    I have worked up something that seems to work (although I cannot promise it is the best way). Hope it helps anyone else who has this need.
    tell application "Microsoft Word"
    activate
    set findRange to find object of selection
    clear formatting findRange -- clear any previous formatting used in a find operation
    set forward of findRange to true -- find forward
    set style of findRange to "List Bullet" -- the style to look for
    tell findRange
    set gotIt to execute find find text "" -- do the search w/o matching any text
    end tell
    if gotIt is true then -- if a match was found
    copy object selection -- copy it to the clipboard
    set mySelection to (the clipboard) -- then put clipboard into a variable
    set myOffset to ¬
    (get selection information selection information type ¬
    (horizontal position relative to page)) -- now put selection info into a variable
    display dialog mySelection & return & (myOffset as text) -- then display it
    end if
    end tell

    I don't think you need the f:ajax tag - you should be able to do the synchronization between the tables with the built-in partial page refresh functionality.
    Just define the partialTrigger property of the second table to point to the firsttable.

  • Need Number fields to be right aligned in ADF table.

    Hi All,
    I have af:outputtext in the column of ADF read only table and view attribute which is associated to this field is fetching numbers (type is Number). But by default in my page data (numbers) is displaying with left aligned.
    But my requirement is to display numbers to be right aligned. I tried by setting Horizontal property to 'right' (text-align = right), also tried by seeting Styledclass property to AFFieldNumberMarker / AFFieldNumber css properties. But still numbers are displaying with left aligned.
    Please tell me how to fix this issue?
    Thanks,
    Sadanand

    Hi,

  • Image in table column header to the right of the text?

    Does anyone know how I can put an image on the right of the text in the table column header?
    If I do column.setGraphic it positions image on the left, how can I change the position of the image?
    For that matter how can I set alignment of the image? Like if I want it in the corner (even left corner will do) and not next to the text?
    Appreciate any help !

    You can do this with CSS (needs an external stylesheet, can't be done (easily) with an inline style).
    Something like
    .table-view .column-header-background .label {
      -fx-content-display: right ;
    }(Untested... you may need to experiment a bit.)
    The structure of the table view control from the css perspective is documented here: http://docs.oracle.com/javafx/2/api/javafx/scene/doc-files/cssref.html#tableview

  • How to achive table column header style (vertical text)?

    Hi,
    Can we show adf table column headers with vertical text, and with rotation. For eg. "Dept Id" lable should show up as similar to what the below HTML does:
    <html>
    <div style="float: left;
    position: relative;
    -moz-transform: rotate(1000deg); /* FF3.5+ */
    -o-transform: rotate(290deg); /* Opera 10.5 */
    -webkit-transform: rotate(290deg); /* Saf3.1+, Chrome */
    filter: progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.BasicImage(rotation=3); /* IE6,IE7 */
    -ms-filter: "progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.BasicImage(rotation=3); /* IE8 */">Dept Id</div></html>

    Hi,
    I've used the below style classes in CSS, but still not getting the accurate Column Header Vertical Text. Also, in IE browser column header text is shrinked vertically when headerClass styles are applied!
    Any help appreciated!
    .sch af|column::column-header-cell {
    vertical-align: bottom;
    padding-bottom: 10px;
    height: 80px;
    .schc af|column::column-header-cell-content {
    -moz-transform: rotate(270deg);
    /* FF3.5+ */
    filter: progid: DXImageTransform.Microsoft.BasicImage(rotation=3);
    /*IE6,IE7*/
    -ms-filter: "progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.BasicImage(rotation=3)";
    /*IE8*/
    -o-transform: rotate(270deg);
    /*Opera 10.5*/
    -webkit-transform: rotate(270deg);
    /*Saf3.1+, Chrome*/
    position: relative;
    vertical-align: bottom;

  • Grouping Table Columns

    Hi All,
    In my webdynpro application we need to "Group Table Column".  I am using NWDS 2.0.9. The "Insert Group COlumn" feature is not there in NWDS 2.0.9. If so how ca i group my table columns. Can anyone provide me a solution for this.
    Regards,
    Divya

    Hi Divya,
    I have done this in my application too.
    I have used two tables,
    The things you need to do is,
    1. Create a scroll container
    2. Create 1st table,
    3. assign the columns coming under its header.
    4. create the 2nd table,
    5. assign the rest of the columns under that header.
    6. Table properties to be set
    7. Now make footer visible false for both the table.
    8. visible no of rows = -1
    9. assigning same context or model node to both the tables will make it as one table itself, and selecting row in one table will also select same row in other table.
    10.Dont keep wrapping as true in any table cell editor, because if there occurs any wrapping in one table, the alignment of rows will be disturbed for both.
    11.And using scroll container instead of footer will not create the scrolling event of footer in the application.
    This will solve your problem.
    Mohak.

  • How to set field alignment in a table in jdev 11.1.2.3?

    hi,
    How to set field alignment in a table in jdev 11.1.2.3?
    eg: to diplay a number field in a table as right aligned.
    I have tried to set field(amount) VO UI Hint Format Type:Number; Format: 0000.00
    and jspx as flowing, but it doesnot work.
    Thanks.
    bao
    <af:column sortProperty="#{bindings.VO1.hints.Amount.name}"
    sortable="true"
    headerText="#{bindings.VO1.hints.Amount.label}"
    id="c44" width="60"
    align="center">
    <af:inputText value="#{row.bindings.Amount.inputValue}"
    label="#{bindings.VO1.hints.Amount.label}"
    required="#{bindings.VO1.hints.Amount.mandatory}"
    columns="#{bindings.VO1.hints.Amount.displayWidth}"
    maximumLength="#{bindings.VO1.hints.Amount.precision}"
    shortDesc="#{bindings.VO1.hints.Amount.tooltip}"
    id="it58"
    secret="false"
    inlineStyle="text-decoration:overline;">
    <f:validator binding="#{row.bindings.Amount.validator}"/>
    </af:inputText>
    </af:column>

    Works for me:
            <af:column sortProperty="#{bindings.EmployeesView1.hints.Salary.name}" sortable="false"
                       headerText="#{bindings.EmployeesView1.hints.Salary.label}" id="c7" align="right">
              <af:inputText value="#{row.bindings.Salary.inputValue}" label="#{bindings.EmployeesView1.hints.Salary.label}"
                            required="#{bindings.EmployeesView1.hints.Salary.mandatory}"
                            columns="#{bindings.EmployeesView1.hints.Salary.displayWidth}"
                            maximumLength="#{bindings.EmployeesView1.hints.Salary.precision}"
                            shortDesc="#{bindings.EmployeesView1.hints.Salary.tooltip}" id="it6">
                <f:validator binding="#{row.bindings.Salary.validator}"/>
              </af:inputText>
            </af:column>JDeveloper 11.1.2.3
    Salary is shown right-aligned.
    What happens if you get rid of your inlineStyle on the af:inputText
