All accounts are locked

Hello,
Today I tried to login to my lab and found my account is locked. Tried to login with other accounts, but they are too locked :(
Waited for some time, but still account reamins in locked state.
My built in account was renamed to ADMIN, I tried to login with this account, but it is disabled (it was disabled by me)
I do not have back up of my AD
DC - Windows Server 2003 
Troubleshooting done so far:
Rebooted in DSRM, tried to modify default policy
Went to Sysvol\Domain\Policies\{31b…}\Machine\Microsoft\WindowsNT\Secedit\Gpttmpl.inf and changed following values
ResetLockoutCount = 1
LockoutDuration  = 1
LockoutBadCount to 100
Rebooted in normal mode. Did not help.
Tried again with following values:
ResetLockoutCount = 1
LockoutDuration  = 1
LockoutBadCount to 0
Did not help.
Please help me from here.
I do not have backup, so cannot restore from it.
Please don't ask me to destroy the lab and create again

DC was affected with conficker D Virus.
Cleaned the virus after loggign in to DSRM, then rebooted again with following values in gpttmpl.inf,
and it worked
ResetLockoutCount = 1
LockoutDuration  = 1
LockoutBadCount to 100

    I installed the Leopard patch successfully and subsequently tried to install the new lightroom patch, but could not because it said I needed an administrator name and password. My password would not work. I checked in preferences under accounts and found that all my accounts are labeled Standard. I have no administrator account. all accounts are still there, but they are all Standard.
    Does anyone have a workaround for this situation?

  • Installed 10.10.1 Now all accounts are messed up!

    I installed 10.10.1 and now all my user accounts are messed up. They act like they are brand new, No settings are saved. Can't log into iCloud…  Error is "You can't sign in at this time" It's been that way for about an hour. This is bad!
    I installed 10.10.1 from an admin account where I have Server installed… The Cache was corrupted so I had to delete that!  All else in my Admin account seemed okay.  Then I logged into my user account all everything is messed up. First is asked me for my password because it needed to "rebuild my library" thinking that it was talking about my iPhoto library because it does sometimes need updating… so I entered it and now No iTunes Library, iPhoto Library…. I logged out and back into my account and anything I did to the settings even after the install is not saved… I checked an it's not listed as a guest account. Mail has no accounts and when I try to sign into my Gmail account it just locks up solid!

    Booted single user, home dir and all content owner/permissions looked ok.
    System Preferences > iCloud, signed out of iCloud, deleted iCloud content from Mac, tried to sign in again which failed with the usual "Cannot sign in now".
    Console log shows new error now:

    So same problem, my Mac no longer trusts Entrust certs. This time, I manually went to https://setup.icloud.com/ with Safari and it also complained about an untrusted cert but also said the cert was valid:
    Clicking Always trust... brings up a dialog box, You are making changes to your Certificate Trust Settings. Type your password to allow this, which hangs with spinning beachball.

  • All files are locked, a new entry in permissions and more

    Following instructions from here on how to try to correct another issue, I was repair permissions and to boot in safe mode. Since then all kinds of things are messed up.
    I had to reset PRAM because the home and boot screens were were all stretched out of whack (this situation has occured once before shortly after getting this new machine)
    EVERY SINGLE DATA FILE created prior to this safe mode is now LOCKED. EVERY ONE!!!!!!  If I try to save any file so far I have tested, I am told the file is locked and I do not have permissions. My user mode didn't have administrative control before, but I changed that because unlocking everything to use it was more complicated having to enter the username and password. New files created are also locked. However, a new Pages file I have tested shows locked but it will save to the same file with a CMD-S.
    Having to unlock files to save work in them really slows work. Apple not allowing Save As on Apple apps is getting really tedious. I tried with a non-Apple app (PhotoShop) and its files are locked after creation. This means I have to unlock every stupid file before I can save it, then it relocks If I go into Get Info to unlock the file, as soon as i close that window, the file shows locked when I do a new Get Info. This is not a good user experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have hundreds of thousands of files used in publishing, graphics, photos, and music. I tried to save an existing Photoshop file back to the Desktop and was told I could not save because was locked - that I needed to unlock the file or enclosing folders. When Photoshop closes it says can't save Preferences because file is locked.
    If I unlock the Sartup drive it relocks as soon as the Get Info window closes.
    In Sharing and Permissions the user called Everyone has a custom settings and some files even have two Everyone entries. Newly created files have had the User with Read & Write and Staff and Everyone with Read Only. My user folder Get Info shows locked with the user, staff and everyone with Read & Write permmissions. If I unlock in Get Info it reverts to locked after I close the Info window.
    Safari opens to the same page on this forum where another problem was discussed. I have reset selected items in Safari that I thought might have caused this, but no change.
    Pages keeps opening a page that was thrown in the trash and is not even on the computer (at least doesn't show in the finder),
    Numbers keeps opening a file that was opened and saved days ago.
    iDVD will open the same project each time, even if something else has been worked on since.
    I have cleared recent entries in these programs and the field keeps coming back when I open again.
    I unchecked  the Restore windows when quitting option in General Sys Prefs and when I open it again it is checked. I know that Lion will reopen a page if I quit without closing the window first. Now, at least with Apple apps, the same file opens now whether it exists or not as well as the new file I am opening by clicking on it.
    I have run permissions check in Disk Utility several times.
    It seems that it is affecting Apple apps that remember where there were last and the visiting history.
    Autosave on apps other than Apple can't save because the files are locked and I get error messages.
    iPhoto files saved on a firewire drive are also show locked but testing on a duplicate file, I found I can edit with PhotoShop and it will save the changes.
    With Finale, it has saved the files, even though locked. The odd thing is that in the finder it shows the correct creation and modifided dates, but it shows an old last opened date. Pages documents show all three with correct dates/times.
    I suspect there is at least one if not more Pref plist files that needs to be fixed, but I have now idea where to start.

    Make sure you are logged in as the admin user.
    Right or control click the MacintoshHD icon then click: Get Info
    At the bottom of the Get Info window, click the gold padlock icon. You will be prompted for your admin password.
    Under Privilege where you see: Read & Write "toggle" the arrows to set your permissions for system / admin etc.
    Close the Get Info window.

  • Power Macintosh 7500/100 thinks all floppies are locked.

    My new (to me) Power Macintosh 7500/100 is thinking all disks I put in it are locked. Is there a way to fix this without replacing the drive?

    This is how I clean floppy drives:
    1) Remove floppy drive from the computer.
    2) Remove the cover.
    3) Use a can of compressed air, making sure all the loose dust is gone.
    4) Use cotton swabs to reach the tighter spots, making sure all dirt is cleaned out.
    5) Lubricate the mechanism and springs with 3-in-1 multipurpose oil, a silicone grease or something similar. Do not use WD-40 or white lithium grease - these won't last long.
    6) Reassemble the drive and install it back into the computer.
    7) Use a floppy drive cleaning diskette/kit to clean the read/write heads of the drive. Although this can be done manually with rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab, it is more safe to use a cleaning diskette because you cannot damage the drive this way. If doing it manually, please be careful and don't stretch the read/write head spring too far - otherwise, the upper read/write head will never go down again.
    If you follow these easy procedures, your drive should be good as new. Good luck!

  • Can't send mail, says all accounts are offline...

    I have been trying to send emails all day, and for some reason it is not doing it. It says that my accounts are offline, and when I run Connection Doctor, it won't fix anything at all! AHH!! I don't know what to do at all, I have 5 different accounts, and none of them work. My firewall is not the problem, and I don't know what to go from here.
    It used to work, I installed Leopard last week, and everything was fine until now.

    You need to provide more information. What kind of email (POP or IMAP)? What is your network configuration like? Can you access other online resources? Is your email available via the web, and if so, can you get to it now?

  • Preferences for HP Envy 5530 All mine are locked don't know how to change to get them unlocked

    I bought HP Envy 5530 thinking great I can have instant ink cartridges and great its wireless so I don't have to have cables.  My problems are that when I print I cannot change the print preferences.  Every option is locked for me and I don't know how to change them - is this because I am wireless.  I just want to be able to print not online but from my laptop for crafting at home??  Pleae help I have been in this state for months now and I can't seem to get help from Customer Support???

    This might happen if you are not logged in as the administrator. Does this still happen when you are logged in as the administrator?

    Also, to provide the best print quality, when you select certain print setting combinations, other preferences which cannot be applied are grayed out.
    Are all the preferences locked or only some?

  • When I open Mail, all accounts are offline.  It takes time to get them back online.  This is an on-going problem that has been chronic and it has finally gotten me "inspired" to ask the Community

    When I open Mail, all accounts appear offline.  I have to get back "online" before mail is delivered or sent.  Hassle.  Any Ideas??

    I was having this same issue all week. I'm also using 10.8.5 It was driving me crazy. I think I found a solution. I downloaded and installed the latest security update from Apple in the App Store. I have not had a reoccurance since (?). Maybe that will help you as well.

  • ALL Accounts are EXPIRED & LOCKED. How do I reset them?

    I downloaded Oracle9i about a month ago to test out. I finally
    got time to do so and all the accounts say EXPIRED & LOCKED 25-
    Oct-2001.
    Do I have to reinstall and start over, or can I reset them?

    Which graphics display card do you have?
    If you have an ATI card with Catalyst drivers then try to disable "Morphological Filtering" in the Catalyst drivers:
    * Catalyst Control Center > 3D Settings > Disable Morphological Filtering

  • Mail lost all passwords and has taken all accounts offline

    Using OS 10.9.4, Mail Version 7.3 (1878.6) and Keychain Version 9.0 (55153)
    My mail went offline Saturday and I haven't been able to get back into it. I have verified access into all the accounts using Browser based access so have ruled out their being server issues etc.
    Chrome kept asking me for passwords from keychain after the latest OS updates, I checked with Keychain and it stated that my Keychain file needed be repaired, so I selected repair, Chrome fixed and no longer asks. However now I cannot get into Mac Mail, all accounts are shown offline, it won't store any passwords and repeatedly asks me for passwords if I try and update or take the mailboxes on line.
    If I go into Keychain I cannot unlock the keychain (ie click the padlock to unlock the login keychain)  and I have nothing showing..
    Is there any known issues with keychain? I don't know enough about it to try things without risking breaking it...
    Any suggestions gratefully received.

    Back up all data.
    Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
    ☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
    ☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
    ☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
    Select the login keychain from the list on the left side of the Keychain Access window. If your default keychain has a different name, select that.
    If the lock icon in the top left corner of the window shows that the keychain is locked, click to unlock it. You'll be prompted for the keychain password, which is the same as your login password, unless you've changed it.
    Right-click or control-click the login entry in the list. From the menu that pops up, select Change Settings for Keychain "login". In the sheet that opens, uncheck both boxes, if not already unchecked.
    From the menu bar, select
              Keychain Access ▹ Preferences ▹ First Aid
    If the box marked Keep login keychain unlocked is not checked, check it.
    Select
              Keychain Access ▹ Keychain First Aid
    from the menu bar and repair the keychain. Quit Keychain Access.

    My PDC is locking up my domain administrator (administrateur in french) account.

    consider resetting the password of the account mentioned above.

    There is absolutely no events in the security events log, not a single "Audit Failure" event for the "administrateur" account.
    I tried to change the name of the domain administrator account from "administrateur" to "administrator".
    Now there is "Audit failure" events poping up in the security event logs.
    Once again the Source Workstation is the PDC. I guess those events are there because it receive credential validation for an account who doesn't exist anymore since it have been renamed in "Administrator".

    This event is generated when a logon request fails. It is generated on the computer where access was attempted.
    The Subject fields indicate the account on the local system which requested the logon. This is most commonly a service such as the Server service, or a local process such as Winlogon.exe or Services.exe.
    The Logon Type field indicates the kind of logon that was requested. The most common types are 2 (interactive) and 3 (network).
    The Process Information fields indicate which account and process on the system requested the logon.
    The Network Information fields indicate where a remote logon request originated. Workstation name is not always available and may be left blank in some cases.
    The authentication information fields provide detailed information about this specific logon request.

    On the PDC i checked :
    Services : None of them are started with the "administrateur" account
    Network Share : There is no network share ...
    Task Scheduler : None of the tasks are launch with the "administrateur" account.
    And the logon type (3:network) seem to indicate that the login comes from an other computer but i have nothing to look for, not a single IP.
    Any ideas?

    Lockout tool confirm that the domain administrator account is locked on my PDC. I didn't run eventcomb but i though it only helped parsing security event logs which i did "manually". Anyway i'll try eventcomb after this week end.
    About the conficker worm : I looked into it and this worm was exploiting a vulnerability in the server service. It have been patched by MS08-067 (KB958644) and this kb isn't available for Windows 2008 R2 and Windwos 2012 so i guess Windows 2008 R2 have
    fixed this vulnerabilty.
    So i doubt its a conficker type worm.
    Also i gave the PDC role to another DC (let's call him DC2) and now DC2 is locking the administrator account so it seems that the computer locking the account is doing it through the network and it's not something executed on the DCs.

    Hi,
    If you have set up a collection for the signature field, then you can specify the fields that are to be locked when the field is signed. This is under the Object > Signature palette. This is the best route and should work robustly. I would be inclined to test the form/signature field using the collection first.
    You can test to see if the access property of a field is not "open" and then take appropriate action:
    if (Textfield.access !== "open") {
         // field is locked proceed with submission
    else {
         // field is open, stop submission
    This is a simple example. A function would need to be set up to run through the whole form.
    However, I don't think it will give a good user's experience. For example, if the user fills in the form and signs it and there is an issue with the script. The submission may fail, but the user may not know how to solve it.
    I would recommend setting up the collection of fields that you want locked and then test that. No script involved.

  • All calendar entries for all accounts just duplicated today, how do I remove?

    Today, 10/9/14, when I opened Thunderbird I had to re-enter the gmail account passwords (I have multiple gmail accounts in Thunderbird and Lightening). After doing so, all the (1000's of) calendar events for all accounts are now duplicated. Am using the latest Lightening 3.3.1, Thunderbird 31.1.2. If I go to Google Calendar directly, there is no duplication so the problem (seems to be) that Lightening is reading in the events twice. Must be a simple edit to some profile file but which one and how to edit?

    Hmm - I don't use Mail (I use Outlook - and that's where my iCloud mail goes, too, never to Mail as I've never set it up in Mail).
    If you've deleted the iCloud account in Mail, you may want to check your iCloud System Preferences and make sure that you have "Mail" unchecked.
    But I don't know really... just another reason I don't use Mail, I guess.
    I DO know that I have a very personal account still active in Mail - but I only use it on Outlook 2013 for Windows, so I never get any alerts, etc. I don't know why you'd be getting any sort of error messages from Mail - unless it has something to do with iCloud preferences...
