All appears in order per the Doctor, yet scan error message continues

I have deleted and reinstalled software and drivers for the HP Deskjet 3050, J610.  Ran HP print and scan doctor, and the results indicate all ok with the scanner.I have went to the help pages and restarted the WINDOWS 7 Windows Image Acquisition. The printer will scan from PAINT.
When I test scan, or scan the message comes back HP Scan-An error occurred while scanning. I do notice on all file extension types the resolution option is blank, with no choice of options, and the printer gives message, successful scan.

As Paint is working, the Print and Scan Doctor is functioning, and you have restarted the WIA protocol, we do not have a lot of options left. We can still try the following:Uninstall the software.Restart the PC.Click on Start and type cmd where it says Search Programs and Files.In the black window that appears type in msiexec /unregister and press enter.In the same window type in msiexec /regserver and press enter.Now  type in sfc /scannow and press enter.Run the Microsoft Fixit tool by clicking on this link.  Under Section 2 Select Print, Fax, Scan, Share or Save and run the four suggested steps by clicking on each Run Now one at a time.Restart your PC.Disable your Firewall and Antivirus software temporily.Run the installer again.Try scanning from HP Scan (with the Firewall and Antivirus software still disabled).If you are still unable to scan using HP Scan then something within your operating system is corrupt. At this point your options are to contact whoever manufactured your PC or reinstall Windows. I hope this helps and I hope you have a great day!

    If you get a network timed out error, try disabling the security software on the computer during the download and install.
    You can also try a direct download andinstall by:
    iPod, iPhone and iPad Firmware Download
    Nera the top of the page aretheinstructions for selecing the download for the install.

    Thank goodness for this thread! 
    I installed iOS5 last night and was having the same problems described above with my iPad 1 32 GB + 3G.  Unknown Error (1) and was unable to restore. 
    I took my ipad to the local Apple Store today and was told by the genius that it was a hardware issue, and because the warranty had expired, there was nothing the Store could do.  He suggested that I try calling AppleCare.  Then I asked to speak with a manager.  He apologized again and said there was just nothing the Store could do.  I was close to leaving, when I asked a second time if it would be possible to see a Manager. 
    After asking a second time, he called a manager.  After explaining my issue to her, she immediately authorized him to give me a new iPad !   Anyone with this problem should definitely go to the store and be polite but adamant.  You should get a new iPad.

    You have limited opportunity to attempt to create a backup of your created files.
    That is what the SafeBoot or safemode appears to allow you -- at the moment.
    Since the hard disk drive exhibits signs of failure or other major issues, plan
    on a replacement in the near future. You may be able to get the computer to
    start up in a regular full OS X (not safe mode) but consider its hours are limited.
    An externally enclosed hard disk drive (with own power supply, not relying on
    Mac ports to run it) is a good basic means of which to use a disk utility to make
    a copy or a Clone of the current OS X. This may help retrieve an archive that
    could be used along with a Time Machine backup, to restore your Mac once you
    get a new hard drive installed inside.

    I have reset both my torch and playbook back to original only thing that I kept was my contact. And still problems I am a few min away from leave my loved blackberry and going android !! Or heaven help us Phone
    Issues 1) playbook wont connect to desktop manager anymore

    I know you are going to ask I have updated everything last time and it is all as update as it can get. 
    As for now as I wait I am going to wipe my phone again and just set everything up again !! If I have to even my contacts AHHHH Help I am starting to think crazy thoughts 

    Did you try to eboot the your PC or laptop where your device is connected ?
    I experienced this with my windows laptop, after a failed to do an update, I restart the laptop and my Torch, then retried, and it's worked

  • 6500 All in One - Won't print in black, no error message

    Twice now I've returned a black cartridge to Staples, thinking there was something wrong with it because the printer would print fine for the first 20-40 copies, then just stop.  When it happened a third time, I started thinking maybe it's not the ink cartridges.  The printer just won't print in black.  I can change the font color to blue and all's well.  When I try to print something in black, the printer ACTS like it's printing but nothing shows up except any color items.  The diagnostics don't show any problem, the printer has no error message, even shows the ink cartridge full (which it is) ... but it just won't print in black.

    I purchased a WRT160N router and everything worked fine for a while. After a few days, I would lose the wireless connection. I spoke to the geeks at Best Buy, and they said the unit was probably bad, so I exchanged it for a new one.
    Before setting up the new one, I figured I'd uninstall the Linksys EasyLink Advisor software in case the new router had a different version. I then started to install the software. But now the installation fails with error message "Could not start the Linksys Updater Service". I tried manually starting it, but it aborts with an error message "The process terminated unexpectedly" .
    Does anyone have any suggestions what I should do now? 

    Well if you are trying to setup your router using the setup disk, you can exit from the setup and configure all the settings on your Router Manually.

    Pretty generic, but its a start, the process in question is cft_flow_lookup.
    This may be an indication of a deeper resource issue.

    Quit iTunes.
    Go to My Music folder.
    Select the iTunes folder, right click > Properties.
    Click the Security tab and make sure you have full Read/Write privileges.
