ALL apps have stopped working...ALL of them.

I just snyced the iphone to our new iMac for the first time...up loaded an "update" for the iphone. Now, none of the apps work. While I'm in the iTunes store and after a sync takes place, I get a message saying my computer isn't 'authorized'. Following the FAQs for this, I can't see the selections it's talking about for authorizing/de-authorizing.

Upper left corner of your screen, you'll see the magic Apple. When running iTunes, you'll then see iTunes File Edit View Controls STORE all on a strip (the menu bar).
That's the one you want.

    The Silver Creek apps pre loaded on my tablet have 'stopped' working. This happened after only 4 days after their initial use. Do these apps have a trial period of free use or do I have another problem?

    No, they're not on a trial period. Try opening the settings, selecting "Apps" on the left," selecting "All" on the right, selecting each app, and then clearing the data and cache.

  • Standalone (.exe) Flash 8 apps have stopped working with blank white screen

    We have some standalone executable flash applications coded with Flash 8. These are the Microsoft Office 2007 command reference guides produced by Microsoft. Recently they have stopped working and now just display as a blank white screen when run.
    As they are self contained Flash 8 movies, I'm unsure what would cause this.
    Any ideas please? Could they be converted to a later version somehow? Or converted back to SWF so they can be recompiled back to exe with a later version of Flash? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

  • All Google and Twitter apps have stopped working on iPhone 6

    I've had a new iPhone 6 for about a month now and suddenly on the same day last week, all google/twitter related apps have completely stopped working, like they can't access my network connection.
    Google Maps, Hangouts, and Gmail are all showing the same issue, they say there is no network connection even though there is. 
    Twitter won't even let me sign in because it says it can't locate the server when I enter my login credentials (and I've tried multiple accounts, all with correct information).  Most odd is that even 3rd party twitter apps like Tweetbot don't seem to work either, as they won't let me login.  When I try to login using the Twitter section of iPhone settings, it tells me my login info is incorrect even though I have checked multiple times and it is. 
    I've tried deleting all of these apps and re installing, to no avail. 
    Anyone?

    Extremely frustrated to find that after plugging my iphone into my comp for the first time since i've had it (about 3 months). I knew I had a good reason for avoiding plugging my iphone into the comp, because I have 2 other ipods and hate the way itunes tries to take over and do everything. No, i'm quite happy to manual manage the files on it. Especially when irritating things like this happen.
    So I plugged it in for the first time on Saturday, and guess what, now NONE of my apps work anymore. Seems to be a common problem that no one at apple cares to admit. (http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=8294502) this old thread details the problem I am having. Now the apps start to open and close and dont work. Awesome.
    I would've been more than happy to eat humble pie if i'd done ANYTHING dodgy to this iphone, but I haven't, and apples OWN device controlling application destroyed the functionality of the device, which I now have to figure out how to fix myself. Of course, apple wouldn't have any documentation on this issue.
    Its sad really as up till now Ive had a flawless experience with the device and enjoyed everything about it, mostly how it works so well and everything is easy to do. Extremely irritated about this - will be telling everyone who cares about this experience.
    Now, apple, or more like apples forum goers, how do i fix what itunes has done???

    Three days and no response, 3 others mentionining same problem.
    Apple clearly do not care about customers or have any interests in bug fixing their own software. This is clearly a widespread problem which has nothing to do with user software, the bug is in iTunes and apple dont even care to admit it or fix it. It doesn't even look like they monitor their support forums at all!
    I was considering buyign a macbook. Ha ha ha. Good luck. Not anymore.
    Have even called support and Apple are USELESS and I will not forget this experience, as will my friends.
    My advice? Get an android phone... we all know that it will only take a month or two till google gets a much bigger app library. Hey and guess what - they'll let you maintain your phone manually if you want, and dont force you through some stupid clunky, resource intensive, bug filled program which makes everything stop working. Exactly what it did to me on first connection.

  • Apps have stopped working one by one...

    I have an iPad 2.  Every time there is an update, I install it.  My problem however, is that the individual apps have slowly stopped working one by one over the past several months.  I will tap one and it will start to load, then crash.  Sometimes the app will load and start, then crash after a few seconds or when I actually try to do anything with it.  I would say that at least 50% of the apps on the device are now doing this.  I don't understand what is going on!  All apps are showing as being updated, there is no new system update needed.  Seems like my iPad is slowly rendering itself useless to me.  Thoughts? Suggestions?

  • HELP!!! All CVP VXML apps have stopped working.

    I have had a number of applications loaded and running fine up until now. I am now working with a developer who has written 2 sets of new class files for 2 new elements. The 2 sets are a phased approach - Phase 1 is to test the elements with "hard coded" data. They worked just fine. Phase 2 is to test the elements accessing a Web Service and retrieve actual info from a database (vs. hard-coded in Phase 1).
    When I put in the Phase 1 classes, the "hard-coded" data was retrieved and all of the applications continued to run fine. Now that I have installed the Phase 2 classes, my ICM script is failing at the "Run External Script" node and I am never reaching the VXML application - NONE of the applications are working now.
    I have reloaded the Phase 1 class flies, updated the classes and recycled the VXML Server (which I've done for each of the phases above) to try and go back, but I get the same error. Then I tried removing all of the class flies and doing the same - same result.
    I'm ataching 3 files/screenshots - from the Global Error Log, the Startup Log and from the Error Log of a specific application (Emerg_Set - however, all applications show the exact same error).
    It appears to me that there is now a file missing? javax/mail/Authenticator?
    Really appreciate any suggestions on how I might attempt to get the applications running again.

    javax.mail.Authenticator is available in a few JARs.
    For my Axis-based custom Action Elements I use mailapi.jar which contains this class. Running jar tvf on mailapi.jar shows

    With Tomcat, JARs containing javax classes should be put in VXMLServer\common\endorsed but you can also put the jar in VXMLServer\common\lib.
    Get the JAR, put it in place, and restart the VXML server to load the JAR.

    We need clarification here.
    Please don't just state version numbers, also state which software.  iTunes 10.7 requires OSX 10.6.8 or higher.  Leopard is OSX 10.5.8.  You have two alternatives right now.  One is to stay with Leopard for a while (ultimately you should upgrade) and install iTunes 10.6.3 which is the last version to work with Leopard.  This should work with iOS6 on an iPhone4.  The other is to call Apple and order OSX 10.6 (Snow Leopard) and upgrade the computer to 10.6.8 which will allow you to run iTunes 10.7.  The caveat is we know nothing about which computer you run and if it even can run any system higher than Leopard.

    If you want to try upgrading:
    Get more information about your computer. Go to the Apple in the upper left corner of any window, then "About this Mac" and "More Info..."  Copy and paste the information here, but omit the serial number and Hardware UUID (if present).  If it says something about Intel or Core Duo or Core 2 Duo in the processor you can upgrade to Snow Leopard (assuming you have sufficient RAM/"memory").  If it says PPC or PowerMac, you cannot.

      All my apps including email have stopped working..  and i have no idea why this happened a few days ago now and ever since ive noticed that ive no GPSR icon only 3G (sorry if i sound stupid im not very tech savy at all).
    First noticed my apps not working when the normal facebook at twiter wouldnt work and then bbm messages wouldnt send and the same for emails as i havnt been reciveing any and nethier will they send.

    Though I have doubts for success, you might try a SMC reset.  It can do no harm.  Otherwise, barring suggestions from others, the Apple Store or qualified repair facility is the last option.
