All catalogues lost in PSE7?

Last fall I transferred 1000+ photos into PSE7, edited and catalogued and tagged them. After being away for some months, I transferred today my 200 or so new photos. I was required to accept adobe's "terms & conditions", which seemed odd. I accepted.
The new group of photos transferred fine into a new catalogue; however, otherwise all my other catalogues, so painstakingly done last were, were gone. ALL GONE! No one has been near the computer, and I know I didn't delete everything.
Any good ideas?? Help!

Alas, I don't show a "Show all" button anymore. That doesn't sound like good news.
I think I've tried every button ... but there seems to be nothing there.
Just doesn't make sense.
I note we were away for three months, and had unhooked the computer and put it away for safety. Absolutely everything else is still there!
Fortunately I believe I still have all, or most, of the photos in their original state; eg unedited, untagged and uncatalogued. Many hours of work lost?
It is a mystery, but if you have any more thoughts they would be appreciated.

Just a quick double check that you clicked the Show All button near the top left of your grid of new images.
Upon importing a new batch of photos, the PSE Organizer only shows you the newly imported photos. To show everything that's in the Catalog, you'll need to click Show All.
Hopefully it's something as simple as that.

Thank you so much for providing the details about the duplicate song issue you are experiencing. It sounds like you would like to remove the duplicate songs that will not play on your iPhone, but when you connect it to iTunes, iTunes only shows you one copy of the song on your iPhone.
In this situation, I recommend deleting the individual songs that do not play directly from your iPhone. I found the steps to do this on page 61 of the iPhone User Guide (http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/iphone_user_guide.pdf):
Delete a song from iPhone: In Songs, swipe the song, then tap Delete.

I haven't gotten a new sim card because the problem has been presenting itself in various cards not only mine. So far, all I've done is reset my network settings.
Last night, I turned off the 3G tab and it had all the signal bars. Today, I did the network reset and it's working apparently. But like I said before, previously the bars just disappear and the iphone only has the 3G activated.

I got the new iPhone5 back in Dec, I hooked it up to my computer for the 1st time this wk. It deleted all new data added since Dec (notes,contacts,texts,pics, info in apps) and reverted back to all my old data. How can I retrieve all the lost data??

Is anyone else having email problems such as apps exiting in the middle of an email? It may be a wireless issue. I use First Class for work and yahoo email for personal. I will be in the middle of typing a long email and the app just quits, all data lost.

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after the iPad shuts down, then press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds). Ignore the "Slide to power off"

It's not that simple. You didn't lose your Office 2004 suite. Office 2004 won't run in Mountain Lion. You need to update your Office software. You need to purchase either Office 2008 or 2011. Either one can run in Mountain Lion.

Spinning Wheel, force quit, then all contacts lost (twice)

Twice today I've lost all my contacts from Address book. First, the spinning wheel comes. Then, after an hour, I force quit either address book, or Mail and upon reopen, all is lost.
What's the issue? How can I stop this from happening again?

Contacts on the iPhone are included with the iPhone's backup, which is updated as the first step during the sync process. You can also deselect sync contacts under the Info tab for the iPhone sync preferences - if she is syncing contacts direct with a supported application on the computer via the iTunes sync process, and doing so will not remove or delete contacts from the iPhone when syncing.
If powering the iPhone off and on and/or an iPhone reset does not resolve it (I'm not sure what a hard reboot is), the options are as follows:
You can replace contacts on the iPhone with the supported application on the computer used for syncing contacts, which is selected under the Info tab for the iPhone sync preferences below the Advanced section.
Restore the iPhone with iTunes from the iPhone's backup.
Sync contacts with the supported application on the computer.

Help All Contacts lost

someone please help me. i have lost all my contacts in both my macbook and ipod. i have tried retreiving them from my back up on idisk but to no avail.
they were on my .mac earlier but for some reason i sync'd it earlier and they have all been lost.
can anybody solve this problem.

This may not work , but it has for some people.
Quit Address Book.
In folder ~/Library/Application Support/AddressBook drag file AddressBook.data to the desktop. Rename AddressBook.data.previous to AddressBook.data and restart AB. If your contacts are not back quit AB again and repeat the drag/rename process, this time with AddressBook.data.beforesave.
If you get your contacts back, now is probably a good time to use the AB menu item File/Back up Address Book.

Media Hub Reset - All data lost

I have NMH300, Serial No ; BTS26J306488.It was running in RAID Mode (Disk Mirror) with two 1TB Hard Disks.
The firmware was up to date.And I had enabled various services on it, like Windows Shares, FTP etc.I had also renamed the hub to "MYCLOUD"
Then one day last week when I tried to find the mediahub "MYCLOUD" on my network shares list it was no longer visible.
The status of Lights on the hub was Both disks "Blue" in colour.
Then after trying to investigate, I realised that the device has rested to its default state and all my configurations are gone. The name is also reset to "MEDIAHUB"
Then in the configuration sections, I went to "DISK" settings.
There I see that Slot B is empty.
So what I interpret from this is that one of my disks might have crashed.
But the sd part is it also says "RAID MODE" Linear1

It is sad that things like this happen. I haven't encountered any major issues with my mediahub for the past 2 years. Now, the only way that it will revert back to single disk mode is when someone would actually set it via configuration page. Now, since your two 1TB drives were set originally to RAID1, try to take out the 2nd HD (Slot 2) from the Mediahub and check if your files are still there. You can also try to take out the HD from slot 1 and replace it with the HD from slot 2 leaving just 1 HD at a time. You may do a hard reset on the mediahub as well. Doing a reset would change your disk configuration. It will only change the basic settings (mediahub's friendly name, FTP name). So just give it a shot and post some updates.
Hope this could help. I am not sure if Cisco has data recovery facility. If your HD is within manufacturer warranty, then you may try to have it recovered on their end.

Id you still have CS2 installed someplace, export the original files as .inx (InDesign Interchange) and convert that instead of the .indd.

All sorted! dont suppose you know how to fix another problem I have??? for weeks now, since updating to ios5 I think, for some reason every time I have tried to log onto app store it says CANNOT CONNECT TO ITUNES STORE. It's nothing to do with my computer, and I've been to the Geniius bar but they couldnt help and nothing I seem to do lets me update my Apps and even worse, I cant even buy any more. Any suggestions?
