All contacts saying they are not available

I cant understand why people are saying they are offline when I am sure they are on line. I am abroad and used it once but when I purchased the internet skype will not work correctly but I can still get on the internet so I know thats working. Any ideas?

Are you signed into the AppStore  with the same Apple ID you used when you originally bought GarageBand and the in-app purchase? If yes, then contact the iTunes Store, see:

    If you log into Icloud.com, are all your contacts correct there? If the answer is Yes, I would then turn contacts OFF on your phone, and then turn them back on. Do not merge, but replace with Icloud content.
    This is usually the quickest way to edit a bunch of contacts, through the web interface.

    Thanks for your feedback, but notifications are a paid feature and are not available in a free account.  That isn't likely to change.  Hopefully there is enough value in this and the other features of a paid account for you to consider an upgrade.

    Just need an active local SIM card that is compatible with your iPhone. Your local provider
    may need to configure some settings under Cellular, but it should pick up signal. Just in
    case, make sure that Settings>Cellular>Roaming>Voice & Data are
    active.

  • HT204150 I can't get my contacts back on my phone from my icloud. It's up and running and I have already turned on the contacts. The icloud online shows that I still have all of my contacts but they are not popping up on my phone.

    I had my mom on my icloud through a different phone for the longest time and just took it off her phone today. Now all of my contacts have been erased from my phone. I went on the icloud online and it is showing that my contacts are still there, but they are not on my phone. I need help!!!

    Go to Settings>iCloud and confirm that you are signed into the account that contains you conacts and that the contacts setting is turned on.  Also open the contacts app and tap Groups (if you have this setting at the top) and make sure all your contacts groups are checked.
    If they still don't appear, go to Settings>iCloud, turn Contacts off, choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted (they will still be in iCloud), then turn Contacts on again.
    If they still don't appear, force-close the Contacts app and reset your phone: double-tap the home button, locate Contacts, swipe up on the image above the app icon to close it, tap the home button again.  Then hold the power and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, then release and wait for it to restart.  Then check your contacts again.

  • Phone Line BT Saying they are not our service prov...

    We've just had an incredibly frustrating weekend trying to speak with someone at BT to resovle our problem....which is that BT have disconnected our line, even though our account is in credit and are saying that they (BT) are not our service provider, but cannot tell us who is. We have never instructed BT that we wish to change our line service provider, they have never contacted us to ask / tell us that the line provider is changing, we have never signed or spoken to anyone or given authority to change SP, but BT are insistent that they are not our SP, but can't tell us who is.
    Consequently we can't do anything to get re-connected as we don't know who to contact, it's as if our line has evaporated into nowhere. BT customer services are of no help, on Saturday we must have  spoken to 20 different people all of whom simply passed us on to the next dept, often we were dumpedl in a queue and abondoned , our calls were cut off on approx 6 / 7 occasions, people who promised to call back never did.
    If anyone at BT reads this please can you explain what is going on, we have no line or broadband, we do not pay any other phone SP, never have and if you check our line number on a SP website it states that BT are our line SP.

    Thanks for the response. That was helpful. However, I still want to know why did the songs I purchased yesterday appear on my IPod for downloading but the those I purchased today did not? After you rassistance I went to settings and turned on automatic downloading for my ipod. So if it wasn't enabled yesterday, how was I able to see the purchases I made yesterday on my computer on the ipod and then download them to the ipod? That is what I expected to see today but all I was seeing were the songs I purchased yesterday and not the ones I did today.

  • CC Desktop reports all apps up to date, but Indvidual apps say they are not?

    While I have the Creative Cloud desktop application open and connected I will get Windows Tray notifications from Individual Adobe applications telling there "Updates ready to Apply."
    THe creative Cloud desktop app shows that all installed applications are 'up to date'.
    Below is a screen clip of the desktop app showing all up to date and a open Acrobat 11 dialog saying updates are ready to install.
    The Acrobat 11 dialog opened immediately after the Desktop application displayed the installed application statuses.
    So are all the updates the Desktop application downloading getting applied? Or are they getting applied twice?

    Run the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool, lett AAM reinstall the apps, then try to run the updates again.
