All devices are getting my emails and texts, How do I change that?

I have a few apple products. I updated to iO6 and all my devices are getting my emails.How do I change that?

Thanks for the info, but I did not see a circle in the upper left corner nor a paint brush to select format inspector. I did open inspector by clicking on the blue circle with the "i" in it and then clicked on "T" for text but I did not see any font settings. What is happening is that when I type text or numbers in a cell I see a random set of symbols in the cell, but in the bar above the table I see the correct text or numbers. I looked at some other solutions for default fonts and the response was that there is no way to change the default font. Any other ideas?

Thank you for posting on the Adobe Forums, kindly try the step mentioned below.
1) Right click on any of the PDF file and choose the option open with
2) Select choose default program
3) Select Adobe Reader/Acrobat from the list
5) Check the box "always open this type of file with selected program" (not the exact same wording)
6) Click OK
If you are on Mac, CTRL+Click on the file.
Go to Get info
Go to Open with
Change it to Adobe Reader/Acrobat and click change all.

Someone is probably sending spam with your address forged on the To: line. Could be one of your old contacts with a Windows machine has a virus that's doing it. It's also possible your e-mail account has been hacked, though I'd think such a hacker would be a bit more purposeful.

No luck, unfortunetly. I've even restarted the whole computer. They are usually still there, and sometimes, even older messages that I deleted from the drafts folder a long time ago, reappear as well. I've also deleted the account from Mail and set it up from scratch several times hoping that would work, but it failed as well.

You changed your email where? In the Mail app? Or in iCloud?

All links are opening in new tabs. How do I change this so links open in the same tab?

This started with upgrade to FF 10. I've tried switching Tabs options on and off but everything keeps opening in new tabs rather than switching to the link in the open window. This leads to many tabs that I have to chase to get to the page I wanted to open.

Maybe some of the extensions are causing a problem. I suggest you try using
* [[safe Mode]] <-- clikable link for instructions --
* do NOT make changes in the first window,just click on continue
* use only the default firefox theme
* if you continue to have problems; then whilst still in safe mode disable all plugins
It is also worth trying to ensure all extensions are uptodate
* see [[troubleshooting extensions and themes]]
You may have to try using the reset controls and toolbars option from safe-mode BUT that may loose customisations that you have made.

The iPod isn't tied to an Apple ID, but is likely tied to an iTunes library. If you want to set it up as a new iPod (as if you were just pulling it out of the box), restore it to factory settings in iTunes.

So my friend recently got an iphone. his texts come in as an imessage. mine send as texts. how do i change that so i am sending an imessage?

When your phone receives a message from your friend and shows iMessage, the conversation should change to iMessage unless your friend's iPhone suddenly becomes unavalable which can happen if they are traveling or something similar. If I understand your information correctly, your phone shows iMessage when you receive a message from your friend, but then switches back to Text (green) when you send a message on the same conversation thread. Your friend's iPhone should certainly mirror what your phone shows as a message will only be sent as iMessage or SMS/MMS, but not both. If this is the case, I would first try power cycling both devices and toggling iMessage off then back on in Settings > Message. I would then recommend deleting the conversation on both devices and start a new conversation and see what happens. I hope this helps, if not, post a reply.

Change Apple ID. I changed my Apple ID email to a new one but iCloud continues to prompt me for a password with my old email address. How do I change that? It won't let me even delete or access iCloud without a password for the old Apple ID.

I had this problem for a while but i finally found a way that worked for me.
My old icloud account asked me for the password that i didnt have. And my old email was not registered as a valid appleid.
So i created a new apple id with my old email and a new password. Signed in no problems and then i could finally delete the old icloud account and sign in with my real one.

We have an ipad and two phones that all conect to each other and I want my own password and userid and she does too how do we fix that?

For purchacing go to Settings>iTunes& App Stores, tap the Apple ID, sign out, sign back in with the other ID. For iMessage go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and do the same thing. For FaceTime go to Settings>FaceTime and do the same thing.
For iCloud, if your devices syncing data to the same iCloud account, on each device that will be changing iCloud accounts, go to Settings>iCloud and turn all data that is syncing with iCloud (contacts, calendars, etc.) to Off. When prompted choose to keep the data on the device. After everything is turned off, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. (This will only delete the account from this device, not from iCloud. The device that will be keeping the account will not be effected by this.) Next, set up a new iCloud account on the device using a different Apple ID and turn iCloud data syncing for contacts, etc. back to On. When prompted, choose Merge. This will upload the data to this new account.
You will then have to go to icloud.com on your computer and sign into each iCloud account separately and manually delete the unwanted data (such as deleting the other person's contacts from your account, and vice versa). These changes will be reflected on your devices.

Every time I added a contact my phone synced it with one of the email accounts on my Torch 9800. I want this to stop and I want to set my old contacts apart from my emails. How do I do this?
The problem actually increased when my gmail stopped working and when I deleted it and reinstalled it, I lost all the contacts saved on it. I don't want this to happen again.

You can disable the wireless synchronization between your email account and the contacts on your BlackBerry® Torch™ 9800 smartphone by opening the Contacts folder on your BlackBerry® Torch™ smartphone, pressing the Menu key, selecting the contact list with the name of your email account, and unchecking the Wireless Synchronization checkbox. After doing this, any changes you make in your BlackBerry® Torch™ smartphone Contacts will not be synchronized to your email account and vice versa.

Suddenly all my thumbnails got a white border. How do I change that?

I have always used thumbnails of the different eBook covers I design, to see how they work in a small size. All the alias' of all the eBook I've designed is on my desktop, so I can compare them. Suddenly the new pictures I store either get no thumbnail at all(alias') or they get this annoying white border around them(originals), all the old one's are still perfect without border. Now I can't compare the new one's with the others, because the white border makes the picture in the thumbnail smaller. And yes I have clicked "Show icon preview" in view options and it doesn't matter where I save them(folders or desktop) or where they came from(Photoshop, preview, iPhoto or directly from my camera) it happens to all picture thumbnails. This new white border is on jpeg, png, tiff and pdf. Actually the white border is a bit smaller on the pdf thumbnail, but the same on the rest.
Hope someone have found a way out of this?

Firefox only has the basic setting for the default action to divert the action to a new tab or window or current tab, so if that behavior has changed then it is likely that an extension has caused this.

Assuming you have an iPhone and you are signed in to Messages with your Apple ID:
Settings > Messages > Sed & Recieve > Start New Conversations From > set your number
Otherwise, there will be no phone number linked to your account and iPad will use your email.

Why are dropdown submenus ALWAYS extended? How do I change that?

I have a spry dropdown menu. Pretty basic, with 7 buttons, only two of which have dropdowns. Unfortunately, I have hit a switch somewhere. Now when I preview in my browser, any browser, the submenus all appear extended. There are triangles present, but no way to shut the menu.
As a result I have a jumble instead of an orderly tool.
What switch will rest the menu so that the submenues only show on hover and click?

Keep in mind that the original Spry files do not show the behaviour that is described by you.
