All devices logged off, but others see me as inactive.

Since I installed Lync 2013 for iPhone on my iPhone and logged in with my account there. Strange things have been happening with my account.
Now, Lync is used as a SaaS which is hosted by Microsoft self, so we don't have any servers running for Lync.
Here's the problem: I've once killed the Lync process on my iPhone by closing the app in the Multitask bar, but since then everybody in my organization sees me as inactive. Even when I'm logged off everywhere. I've also deleted the app from my iPhone. So
I really don't have any other instances of Lync open and still people see me as inactive.
If I log on now, I don't get the messages people send to me. The messages seem to go to the inactive session.
Can someone help me?

iTunes Match is a subscription system that allows you to upload your own music (e.g. coped from CDs) to the cloud so that it shows (in the cloud) on your devices and computers without having to sync/copy it.
Automatic downloads allows to, for example, buy an app on your computer's iTunes and have it automatically download on your phone without having to connect and sync it or go to the Purchased tab in the App Store app on your download and download it yourself - but doing that, going to the Purchased tab and redownloading an app, should get it associated.
But no, I'm not aware of any problems that not having it associated causes.

I am very happy to report that my server connection tech, which I called via landline, informed me to : 1. Open Tools 2. Scan down to Clear Recent History 3. Delete All. That was it! Unbelievable! Six hours of searching through the Windows catagories. I checked the results on an internet site, and viola! It was gone! Mozilla Firefox seems to remember the usernames and passwords irregardless of the option window that asks if you if want it to remember the user and password. I finally got in touch with my friend and he said he did not answer yes to the window, even though he was aware of it. No damage. I surely do appreciate everyones' concern in this, now what seems to be, a very simple solution. Cudos to Firefox! Thank-you! P.S. I now have to enter my information at the beginning of any password protected sites...no harm done! My friend is now condemned to the 'user account' site! lol...

Logging off but keeping programs running?

Wasnt sure if this is the right category to post this question, but here goes;
My girlfriend likes to leave her AIM running all the time even when I need to use the computer so I log off of her username and onto mine and of course all her programs quit. I know I have seen Macs log off but keep the programs running, how do I do this?

You can only do this if you're running OS X 10.3 or greater, using Fast User Switching. If your profile is correct, you're still running 10.2.x so this won't work unless you upgrade to 10.3.9.

My understanding is that a device must have access to either WiFi, a cellular network, or (best) GPS in order to establish a location. Of course iPhones can access all three and iPads also if they incorporate cellular. However, Mac computers don't have GPS or cellular.
So if a Mac is connected to Internet via Ethernet to a LAN and not WIFi it will not be able to establish a location. Anyway, that's my experience.

I also encountered this problem. I'm afraid I didn't meticulously document my work, but here are the step I took that might be relevant. I downgraded to IE9 and then down to IE8. I tried the
BypassSSLNoCacheCheck and BypassHTTPNoCacheCheck settings in the registry, which didn't work for me. I tried moving the location of the temporary internet files folder by modifying it directly in the registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ User Shell Folders
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ Shell
This didn't work either. While I could see that I had the invisible content.ie5 folder in there, plus the randomly named folders, there was nothing cached in those folders. Cacls.exe showed
that the user had full control, and I could past files into those folders. This seemed to rule out a problem with permissions on the temp ie files folder.
The big clue for me was this thread when someone said that it worked for the administrator account, but not others. While logged in as the affected user, I tried deleting:
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer (the entire folder, with all its subkeys)
and also: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings (again, the entire folder, along with all its subkeys).
I tried running IE again, and downloads work again! In the internet control panel, I now see a path listed for the temporary files folder (the path I specified), and the cache is set to 50MB
now instead of being stuck at 0. I haven't tried updating back to IE9 yet.
I suspect that changing the location of the temporary IE files folder was unessecary, and that all that I really needed to do was delete the two regkey folders. IE10 may be adding some setting
there that gets left after uninstalling it that causes IE9 and IE8 to choke. Hopefully this will save someone the trouble of rebuilding profiles.

Cannot see all columns in dashboard,but can see in RPD

I added a new datasource ,can see everything fine in the Admin Tool in all the layers but cannot see the columns in the dashboard in subject area.
The permissions are read only in the Admin Tool.

Check the Permissions in Presentation Layer for the user you have logged in.

How do I take all my data off my computer but leave the factory applications, etc. , I have a portable backup drive to remove everything but the person at the apple store told me I'd have to restore the factory settings.

Use your install disc, go to Utilities>Disk Utility and erase your drive - then use the install disc again and reinstall the OS.

No audio and website doesn't recognize my log in but other browser do.

I'm and online student and they say it only works in Firefox, however, when I log on to their site it doesn't recognize my user name and password, then I request a new password and it lets me in, but when I go to play the audio exercises I get no audio.

Does the unrecognized login come back again and again, or have you solved that one by resetting your password?
Regarding no audio, some users have reported that Firefox does not work correctly with their speakers but it does work with a headset. Have you noticed anything like that?
More generally:
When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site, try either:
* right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* (menu bar) Tools > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* click the padlock or globe icon in the address bar > More Information > "View Cookies"
In the dialog that opens, you can remove the site's cookies individually.
Then try reloading the page. Does that help?

I'm sorry your phone is still paying sounds after you have turned them off powchutu. Select Apps > Settings> Sound > Volume > & adjust the following
• Ringtone
• Music, video, games and other media.
• Notifications
• System

Enterprise Managers log off each other if they are open in one IE window?

The background is dbconsole is used to manage 10gr1 and 10gr2 standard edition databases hosted on different severs.
On one server two db are installed, so there are two dbconsoles. I log onto one dbconsole on my PC, and in IE's another tab page open another one, if now I come back to the first one and click on any link, I am asked to log in again. If I open the second dbconsole in a different IE window, the two will coexist.
While on a different tab page of the same IE window, I can open a dbconsole if it is hosted on a different server.
Why?

How do the URL's look like?
Web browser uses "session cookies" to keep sessions based on the web server name (the 'cookie domain'). When you logout, the cookies were destroyed / reset. Surprisingly, the cookie domain excludes the port number. Therefore, if you logout one URL, the other may also be logged out if the server name is the same.
And for IE, browser tabs / browser window created using Ctrl-N are considered the same browser session (same set of session cookies). Browser windows started separately are in different browser sessions (different set of session cookies). Firefox always use the same browser session.

All music is gone but "other" space is full

My iPod was messing up so I reset it.
I went home and reset it (holding down the center button and menu button) while it was plugged in (mistake) and after that all my music was gone. However, when I go to memory, there's still 113 gb of "other" space taken up. This is a 120 gb ipod classic.
Is there any hope of recovering my music or do I have to restore?

Could you explain in more detail what exactly is your situation? Do you mean that the "Purchased Items" playlist is missing from iTunes? Or that the tracks you purchased aren't shown in the iTunes Library any more? Or do you mean something else? If you'll provide a more precise description of what's going on, perhaps we can offer suggestions.

iCloud (http://icloud.com on a computer or Find My iPhone on another device) are the only way that you might be able to try and locate it. What iOS version was on it ? If it was on iOS 7 then they won't be able to reset it without your password.
I assume that you've reported it to the police (?). You should also contact your carrier and change your iTunes account password, your email account passwords, and any passwords that you'd stored on websites/emails/notes etc.
