All DMP's lost connection to DMM Server

All DMP's on our system suddenly have red X's and are showing as down on DMP Manager. No configuration or network changes took place, they just stopped working. I can still login to the web interface of each DMP, and I can ping each DMP from the server, but Digital Signage will not see them. This has worked very well for many months, and just suddenly stopped.
I am using DMM v 5.2.0, and the DMP's are all 4400's with v 5.2.3.
Anyone have any ideas?

Your DMPs digital certificates have expired. I missed the documentation about it, too, and am in the process of getting everything back working. You'll need to install a hotfix and upgrade your DMPs. I think this is the relevant link for you:

I recently put on a PowerPoint presentation at DU, in Denver Colorado; signed on as DU guest to access Internet link. Try iTunes Folder Watch or iTunes Library Updater. Folder Watch is much faster on the adding files front, can be set to run in the background and includes a useful exclusion feature, however it’s slow at removing orphans. iTLU is better for this although doing it manually after looking at a list of proposed removals generated by Folder Watch is probably faster still. iTLU can also be set to update iTunes when you've used 3rd party tools to change tag info.
You may need to amend the list of file types these programs look for. My list includes:
.mp3 .mp4 .m4a .m4b .m4p .m4v .mov .wav .aif .mid .ipa .ipg .ite .itlp .m4r .pdf
Note the last 6 types may not be recognised as already being in the library so should either be omitted from the search or you can add (at least for Folder Watch) individual exclusions for files you know are already in your library.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

Mail.app suddenly lost connection to exchange server

Hello
I have 3 (at least) different mail.app accounts (on different macs) that have lost the connection to our exchange server and is not able to reconnect to it..
We can access the mails from webmail or from Entourage.
At first we thought that it was the latest update to mail.app but we have found others on the internet with the same problem (before the update). Sadly they have not provided us with the sollution to the problem.
I plan to re-boot the exchange server on sunday and will update the post with the result.
But if anybody have had the same problem and found a solution, then I would very much like to hear about it.

Can't get my tv to home share with my pc anymore. It's been working for 11 months and all the sudden lost connection. I even created 2 new itunes accts and logged in on my pc but the tv won't accept any log in.

Lost connection to DHCP-Server of Internet provider

I installed Sneak Preview WAS 6.40 on my desktop.
Regardless of some warnings and errors the installation
finished succesfully.
I was a bit disappointed because unlike MiniWAS 6.40 the ABAP-engine is not included.
Now my problem. I cannot connect to my internet provider any more. The provider swears that everything is correct
but I wont get a lease. Even after uninstalling 6.40 it doesn't work. What might be the reason?

i think that Question should not be asked in SDN. But never the less give us more details about your Internet connection. Is it DSL, Modem, ISDN, Cable Modem? Do you have a router?

I can print anything else I want, like email or packing slips. Any thoughts? I would go back to the previous version if anyone knows how to do that.

Accendia server is implementing a callback mechanism that allows the server to notify the client.
This is not broadcast, you would have to call each client (www.accendia.com). For real broadcasting use datagram or multicast sockets (depends on different factors) on both client and server in addition to the sockets used as part of the NIO server.

Accendia server allows the server side to invoke callback objects on the client. You can't do real broadcasting, though, you would have to iterate through all client connections. See if it helps:

Finder sidebar connection to 'shared' server keeps failing

I'm on the same network being managed by Windows Small Business Server 2011, and I'm running Lion. I was always able to connect to the server via the sidebar in finder no problem. Yesterday our internal firewall wacked out and everyone lost connection to the server/internet. It took a few hours to get the firewall restored, and now I can't connect to the server anymore via the sidebar. All the 'shared' listing show up that are supposed to, and I can connect to ones that I wasn't connected to at the time the firewall went down, but I can't connect to the server now. I ran the Consol app and tried connecting, here's the error that showed up 'SharePointBrowser::handleOpenCallBack returned 61'. The popup either shows one of two messages on any given try:
'Check the server name or IP address, and then try again. If you continue to have problems, contact your system administrator.'
OR
'This file server will not allow any additional users to log on. Try to connect again later.'
Is there a way to just 'reset' these connections or something, or clear some cache and make it think its the first time again? It seems like it panicked once it lost connection and maybe something got corrupt? There's another Mac on the network (iMac also running Lion) that this is happening to as well. Any help is greatly appreciated, I've tried a ton of things from searching online with no success. Oh, I should mention that I am able to connect to it via Go->Connect to Server and using the IP address or the hostname. Just not from the sidebar anymore.

Same here. I just hired a new employee a few weeks ago and she's spent more time watching the spinning beach ball of death than putting in billing hours! Happens when the laptops are on the ethernet connection or wireless, worse with wireless. With so many projects and multiple people working on them it is impractical and illogical to drag files onto multiple computers. This all worked just fine before. Mysql_connect "Lost connection to MySQL..." error 61

A web developer is getting this error on a test web server of ours that is running 10.5.7 Server.
"Warning: mysql_connect() function.mysql-connect: Lost connection to MySQL server at 'reading initial communication packet', system error: 61 in..."
I've seen other postings online for this error suggesting that the line containing 'bind-address 127.0.0.1' be commented out within /etc/my.conf... but this line doesn't exists on my installation.
MySQL and php have been working well for other databases and developers. This is a newly created database.
Has anyone else seen this error and found a fix?

This is more than likely a firewall problem on your users end. I just ran into this when moving my servers to a colocation. Everything was fine until i tried to connect to an outside database from the machines behind the new firewall. was set to allow 3306 in, but not out. And would connect without issues to localhost:/var/mysql/mysql.sock .

shell> telnet <servername> 3306
should be able to login. if refused, then port is closed.

How do we connect to SQL Server database from Forms 10g?
In Oracle Metalink site they have suggested using Transparent Gateway for SQL Server as a solution.
But is there a way we can connect directly to SQL Server from Forms using an ODBC connection
without installing anything on the database server?

I was able to connect to SQL Server from Oracle using Generic Connectivity (HSODBC).
Transparent gateway was not required.
Followed metalink note 109730.1
So, after I created a dblink to SQL Server, I created a synonym for the dblinked SQL Server table.
When I used the synonym as the table source in Oracle Forms, I got the following error while querying.
"ORA-02070 - ROWID is not supported in this context."
This is because Forms has an invisible ROWID field and when data is fetched from SQL Server table
no Rowid is fetched since SQL Server table doesn't have one.
Is there a way to overcome this issue or do we have populate the block manually using a SQL query ?
Pls suggest.
