Any of the above technologies will do it. You could also use
a Java
applet or even a .NET solution of some kind, so the choice
you take will
depend largely on what platform you want to support and code
for. This sort
of project will require significant amounts of custom
programming. My
personal approach would be to use Flash, mainly because of
the popularity of
the plugin. The Shockwave example looks beautiful, and I
started out years
ago using Director, but fewer people nowadays have the
Shockwave plugin
installed. It doesn't look like any of the sites shown use 3D
modeling,
which is the only relevant feature that Shockwave has over
the other
approaches. JavaScript (probably some Ajax approach) would
work -- as
seen -- but then you're dealing with compatibility issues
among various
JavaScript implementations in the great variety of browsers
out there.
Flash minimizes that, in my opinion.
All you really "need" to produce what you've seen is Flash
and some sort
of database back end (MySQL, say), which means you'll need a
bit of
middleware (PHP, ASP, Cold Fusion, etc.) to act as your
ambassador between
Flash and the database.

Updates Confusion: Which ones to select for HP Notebook-15-r249tu

I regularly update my system, Windows is not an issue, however HP updates seem to be a problem. For example when I tried to update the graphic driver from Intel, it shows that my system has a customized driver and should be updates from the manufacturer site only. I have tried to get updates using the HP support assistant, but every time it shows "no updates". I then tried the HP website to get updated and it shows a list of related updates, but the problem is they all have the same/similar file name and description. I don’t have a clue as to which ones to download. SO my questions are: 1) IF the HP support assistant does not show any updates then is it right or should I try other source? 2) Are the updates on HP website just a list of all necessary drivers and software or are they updates to already installed drives/software’s? 3) How to know which to download from the list? Depending on which wireless adapter is in your model, one of these should fix the problem.Broadcom Wireless LAN Driver - sp68506.exe Qualcomm Atheros AR9000 Series Wireless LAN Drive - sp68427.exe If neither of those help and this is a result of converting the laptop to Windows 7 from Windows 8, then possibly the chipset drivers from THIS PAGE will be needed, also.

I grasp you need the drivers for your HP Notebook - 15-r249tu and Windows 8.1.
Here is a link to the drivers. HP Notebook - 15-r249tu.
Where is lists the Operating System as Windows 7, along the right side you will see an edit button. Click on it and select Windows 8.1 to display the drivers.

Hi Bairagi,
You can use most drivers that were originally for Windows Vista. For the chipset and graphics, I'd recommend using the Intel Driver Update Utility. It will automatically recognize your chipset and graphics, after which it will provide you with the most recent drivers for your computer.
For the other drivers, like wifi and audio, most of the Windows Vista drivers will work. You can download them from http://h22207.www2.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/compaq-presario-c700-notebook-pc-series/3466274/... If you get an error that your operating system is not supported, you can use the Compability Mode. Right-click on the driver installation file > Properties > Compability > Windows Vista (Service Pack 2).

The P20 is an oldie and the Win 7 drivers are not released officially for this notebook.
I didnt find any on the Toshiba European driver page
So I assume you will need to search for such drivers at your own hand.
Tip: try to install Win 7 VAP (value added package) and Flash Card Support Utility which are released for newer notebook series like L500 or newer. Usually such tools are not notebook model related so maybe you could download and install this on this P20.

Win7 64bit Drivers needed for pavilion touch laptop

I have just bought a HP pavilion touchsmart 14-n056ea that came with windows 8. I am using it for work and they have given me a windows 7 pro 64bit OS to use instead as it works better with their systems. i have formatted the drive and installed the win7 OS now but the drivers online are only for windows 8. Drivers needed for HP 2000-2313TU

Laptop Model - HP 2000-2313 TU
Operating System - Windows 7 Ultimate x64
On HP's website I see drivers are available only for Windows 8. I want all drivers for Windows 7. Please help me in locating the required drivers.
Additional Problems -
The brightness control key which is combined with F2 / F3 function keys are not working at all. Please provide me the required drivers (if any) so that with that function hot key I can control the display brightness.

HP only provides support and drivers for their consumer PC's for the current Windows operating system in effect at the time of production, which is W8 at this time.
Customers wanting support for other windows operating systems need to purchase a business PC.
The good news for you is that we can find W7 x64 drivers from other models with the same hardware that should also work on yours.
I'm thnking all of the W7 x64 drivers from this similar model will also work on yours.

If you need WLAN driver, you can download from Toshiba WLAN portal - http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/
Your notebook has Realtek RTL8188CE WLAN card inside.

I'm updating my os from win98 to win2k.
do i need new drivers for pci-7344, pci-6110e and ni-5411 (for pci). Labview version, i believe is 5.1, hardware and software purchased in summer 2001.

Hello.
There are updated versions of the drivers you would need for those boards available on the web, but your LabVIEW version is very old and thus will not be compatible with those driver versions.
Hopefully you have the CDs with your older driver versions on them. Many drivers are available on the web at:

You will need NI-Motion, NI-DAQ, and NI-FGEN for the 5411.

Internal hardware drivers needed for HP 2000 Notebook.

Perhaps someone can help me pull a pawn shop "bargain" back from a life of exclusive Linux service. The previous owner had appearantly attempted to retrograde the notebook from Windows 8 to Windows 7 using a Win7 recovery disc and an image of another computer. So of course the entire system, recovery partition and all, were formatted away and replaced with an unauthorized and broken install of Windows. I'm OK running Ubuntu on if for now, but I will eventually want to install a fresh copy of Windows and can't find the internal hardware drivers for my HP 2000 Notebook (product number C2M42UA) anywhere on HP support website. Before wiping away the unauthorized Win7 install I looked at the device manager and remember Realtec HD audio and Intel HD video and have located those drivers elsewhere on the web, but can't be sure what else I'll need. I do seem to recall that with the bad install the ethernet adapter was without a driver, for example.
Where can I find a list of drivers for which to scavange the web? Looks to me as if a hard drive failure will leave any newer HP computer in worse shape since they replaced the recovery discs with a recovery partition on the hard drive it's meant to restore. Something I should keep in mind in future computer shopping.

Remember, when you buy a new laptop they do not give you recovery disks. That has been true for many years. However, there is a Recovery manager that will let you make those disks and if you do that and store them in a safe place you are always able to recover your system. Windows itself also now has very good backup tools including the ability to make a complete system image of the computer in its current state (not factory condition) so there is no real reason you cannot be fully protected against a hard drive crash.

English drivers needed for SB AWE32 CT3990

Hello Everybody,
I just bought a used SB AWE32 this week, but I am having 2 problems with it... First of all its all installation disks are in German language. I dont speak German. I need the English version. Second thing: the owner, who sold it to me didn't give me the Plug and play configuration manager disk 2, only the first one. (...and he doesn't find it anywhere...) The first disk alone doesn't work...
So my question is if is there anybody, who has the same card with the English install disks such as the accessories, drivers, utilities, etc disks both for the DOS/win3., and for the Win95. I'd be very glad for any help.
Those short stuffs that are available for download here at creative support site aren't enough, I'd like to have the original software pack somehow.

I guess that SB0790 is a Soundblaster card, right? If it's a very old card, your plight seems hopeless. Before giving up, though, I would try doing some Web searches. Suggested searches: SB0790, SB0790 drivers, Soundblaster drivers, old Soundblaster drivers, driver archi'ves, old Creative drivers, etc. If you have the driver version number of the old drivers, you could search for that. The following site lets you do a driver search, but I'm pretty sure you're not going to find very-old drivers with it:?http://drivers.softpedia.com/progFinder?The drivers.softpedia site has many drivers, but I think they are all new, or fairly new.

Drivers needed for iPod to work?

A couple of days ago, I received a free iPod Nano (2GB) from a promotional offer with my bank. There was no installation software disk included. From reading on the site, this is normal because everything you "need" is supposed to be in the latest version of iTunes.
When I first plug my iPod into my computer, Windows recoginizes it as an iPod and prompts me to go through the new hardware installation. The installation then fails because no driver software is found/available for the iPod.
I have the latest version of iTunes. ITunes will open and all my music is there and playable. My iPod just will not show. My iPod is fully charged. I have gone through all of the 5 R's multiple times including the 6th R, which is REALLY FRUSTRATED!!!
Basically, I need a software driver so that Windows will recognize my iPod. I have read here that iTunes has them or something? However, iTunes will not recognize my iPod because it's simply just not there. Device Manager in Windows has the yellow exclamation point on the iPod.
I have tried multiple USB ports. I have tried upgrading all of my Windows utilities up to date. I've never really had any problems with anything installing/connecting to my computer until now. I'm really starting to disbelieve all of the iPod hype and am getting extremely frustrated with it because it's not seeming very intuitive or user friendly.
Any help getting Windows to recognize/install the software for the iPod will be extremely appreciated. I'm getting ready to eBay the thing because it's really becoming a headache. Maybe you could help me realize that iPods are where it's at and help me solve this dilema! Thanks!

Do you have Windows XP with Service Pack 2, or just Windows XP?
I believe SP2 is a requirement, as it contains the needed USB drivers for Windows.
