All emails suddenly disappeared from my iphone 5c inbox

Emails from my comcast.net account suddenly disappeared from my iPhone 5c inbox and I cannot receive new ones. They still show up on my iPad and my laptop (both Windows Live Mail and Xfinity. I'm using OS 8.1,3, Ideas?

Yahoo's servers are notoriously bad. Yahoo will have to fix the problem. It's not an Apple problem, or an AT&T problem (except for the fact that AT&T chose to contract their email service out to one of the worst providers on the planet).
Try downloading and using the Yahoo mail app from the app store.

I've had Yahoo email on my AT&t iPhone 5 for a year. Yesterday, with no action on my part, and no changes to the settings on my iPhone, all my Yahoo emails disappeared from my iPhone inbox, and no new emails sent to my Yahoo email address are appearing there. The Gmail inbox on my phone is fine. I can access my Yahoo mail on a browser, but not on in my iPhone inbox. I have reset network settings, deleted my Yahoo mail account, re-booted the iPhone, and re-added the Yahoo account. Nothing helps. I have no idea if the problem resides with Apple, Yahoo, or AT&T. Has anyone had the same problem? What can I do?

HT1689 All my contacts disappeared from my iPhone.

All my contacts disappeared from my iPhone.
The phone strarted "blinking" all of a sudden, and when it returned to normal all contacts were missing.
Has anyone else experienced this? Do you know if I can somehow restore the contacts? (No, I did not syncronize them with my PC or store them online..)

I would try a reboot and pray that it helped. But if you didn't back the phone up to itunes or icloud or if you don't already store your contacts in gmail, then they are probably gone forever.

It is not possible to delete Safari, it may have moved to a different screen. Do a search for the app or you can click on your settings>general>reset then select reset home screen layout.

There is no way to retrieve something if it doesn't exist somewhere. But from the way that you describe this situation, maybe it is just a fluke kind to thing with iCloud. I assume that's how you keep your notes in sync if the same thing happened on both devices. Before you start trying iCloud fixes, try this.
This is a stab in the dark, Close the notes app and reboot your iPad. See if the missing notes reappear.
Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the Notes app then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

does anyone know why my emails hVe disappeared from my iPad? Both gmail and Bob internet mail? All emails are coming into my laptop but none to my iPad and the ones I had opened have all disappeared too!

I have tried to rebuild the mailbox to no avail. The mailbox behavior says: Drafts (not checked) store draft messages on the server, Notes (checked) show not in Inbox, Sent (checked) Store sent messages on the server Delete sent messages when (option never selected), Junt (not checked) store junk messages on the server Delete junk messages when (option never selected), Trash (checked) moves deleted messages to the Trash mailbox and (checked) store deleted messages on the server Permanently erase deleted messages when (one month old option selected).
I have not set up any rules that I know of other than a signature, in the very least I have not changed any.

I have noticed that the FaceTime app has suddenly vanished from my iphone 4S. I have seen few similar posts on the Apple Support community about the same issue and have tried most of the solutions but none of them seem to address the nature of the problem that I have. Can anyone help.

Unfortunately, Apple has no official presence in Pakistan. Therefore, support issues
must be worked out with your wireless provider. As mentioned above, there are reports
of wireless providers updating their settings to disable/remove FaceTime. Pakistan is one
of the locations mentioned in these fora.
Suggest you work with your wireless provider or see if Google can point you to a potential
solution.

The iTunes app has suddenly disappeared from my iPhone 5s on 7.0.2

The iTunes Store app has mysteriously vanished from my iPhone 5s running 7.0.2. It was literally there one minute and gone the next: I checked the phone, locked it, then had to check something else and when I unlocked the icon was missing.
So far I have tried:
A full system search - the app does not appear in the universal search list.
Tried getting Siri to launch it - Siri replies that it cannot find an app called iTunes.
Checked restrictions in the general settings - restrictions are off.
Done a full wipe and restore from a backup prior to the app going missing - iTunes app still not present.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Well, just to tie this one up I'll say that the problem resolved itself. About three weeks after posting this question the iTunes app mysteriously reappeared. I did not do anything to try and get it back and the phone had not updated any software for a while. I have no idea why it disappeared or why it reappeared but there we go; maybe it fancied a holiday?

Why has all my music disappeared from my iphone 4S (iOS6)?

This morning on the train into work I was listening to a track as usual on my iPhone 4S (iOS6).
The track finished, so I used my Beats headphones to skip to the next track (as usual) and there was just a prolonged silence. On taking my phone out of my pocket I then saw that all my music content had disappeared! When I go into the Music app it simply displays 'No Content'.
As I am not at home, I cannot re-sync.
I want to know how on earth Apple can be releasing an update that causes so much hassle?
Can anyone help & explain why the above has happened?

iTunes syncing is generally in one direction only, from the computer's iTunes library to the iPod (and that is by design). You cannot use iTunes to transfer song files from iPod to computer, except for songs purchased from the iTunes Store. However, there are third-party methods and utilities that can transfer from iPod to computer. If you do an Internet search on something like "ipod transfer," you should get some links. (The CNET article seems to be popular.)
Once the song files are on your computer's drive, you can add them to your new iTunes library. After confirming everything is there, you can then sync your iPod to that iTunes library.

I contacted Apple & did as below as advised & I got my contacts back.
Before I started I made sure that I had a Icloud backup for my IPhone ( which was before the problem started ).[ Settings > ICloud > Backup. ]
IPhone reset - by 'Erase all contents & settings...
after the phone starts, choose to restore from Icloud backup.. & choose the Backup you think is without the issue.
VERY IMPORTANT.. Once the phone restores from the backup & the Home screen comes, put the phone in Airplane mode Immediately.
Now go to settings > Icloud > put the contacts OFF. ( Keep the contacts )
Now OFF the Airplane mode & go to settings > Icloud > put the contacts ON & select Merge.
I got all my contacts back which was there until that Backup.

My iPhone suddenly lost all contacts this afternoon. Hadnt even been using it. When I tried to Back it up and resync on the computer it wanted to update after installing the update to the computer it crashed the phone. Now I have no assess to the phone. It has gone to the original setting that tells you to connect to iTunes. iTunes does not recognize the phone any longer.

Email suddenly disappeared from Bt yahoo

Hi there
My daughters email address suddenly became invalid (username & password not recognised). I had to create a new one in my sub accounts at bt yahoo. I waited a day and tried to create her old email address again to no avail.
My questions is....
1, Why did this happen ?
2. Could BT have sold the email address ?
3. How come speaking to anyone at BT is very difficult ?
4 . Why do I stay with a company that I cannot trust to handle my email addresses ? (rhetorical)
5. .The help pages at BT are effin useless...that wasn't a question.... more of a statement.

I am not sure you can create any new sub accounts on BT Yahoo at the moment, as BT Yahoo is being discontinued and repaced by BT Mail. All accounts will be moved over in the next few months.

Why have most all email messages disappeared from the folders they were stored in?

I have 57 folders set up in TB. All had multiple email messages stored in them. These file folders were used regularly without any problem. One day I accessed one of the folders and it was empty. It turned out that all folders were empty except for eight and those eight had files missing. I was at a complete loss as to what had happened. I then remembered that System Mechanic, which I have installed, had found something like 124,000 misaligned files prior to this problem and had proceeded to fix the problem. I don't recall if I had tried to reference any of my TB stored emails immediately after the misaligned file problem was "fixed" or several days had passed since this misaligned file problem was "fixed". I have had both TB and System Mechanic installed for 3+ years without any problem. Has anyone had this problem with or without System Mechanic installed.

Yes they can. Connect your iPhone to your computer, open itunes, click on info and click on sync contacts. Alternatively you can go to your phone settings, iCloud and deselect the contacts option. A dialogue box or whatever that thing is should come up, select keep on my iPhone. Wait a few minutes and reselect it again and choose merge when it asks you to. Let me know if that solves your problem. It happened to me on my iPhone 4s and I just fixed it a few minutes ago.

Me to on my ip5. Then i noticed all accounts were gone in mail.
Luckily i had 90% backed up in yahoo so when i set up the account again i had most back. Still sure though info is missing.
In icloud i only found about 10 contacts who had been stored in icloud contacts
Any way i can get all data back? Can't be i accidentaly deleted these accounts right before download of ios 7
