All Flash Videos are skin elements

I was importing a flash video to one of my pages, dreamweaver
would not respond. Afterwards all the flash movies in the image
folder shows the same thing (icons for sound, stop, forward, etc),
even when I try to import different flash videos. Anyone know what
I did? I tried reinstalling Dreamweaver, reinstalled Flash Player,
threw away the preference files... I then tried to download my site
from the test server and I could do so as long as I didn't download
dependent files. As soon as I tried to download the file with
dependent files, the application quit. Suggestions?

To fix this I simply set up a new site with a blank html
page, imported a flash video; then copied the
AC_RunActiveContent.js from the Scripts folder as well as the
FLVPlayer_Progressive.swf and Clear_Skin_1.swf files to the old
site. All the problems disappeared....

So recently , all my flash videos have started to stutter. Whether it is small gifs , chrome , firefox or internet explorer , the audio is fine and the quality is consistent for the most part but every 1-3 seconds there is a constant stutter. I have tried to disable Hardware acceleration as well as cleaning up all my flash files but none of these have worked. Im wondering if anyone has experience with those problems and can offer me a solution for this constant , annoying stuttering.

GIFs are images, NOT Flash Player. And they contain no sound. You CANNOT view GIFs with Flash Player.

All flash videos are working except this one!?

Tonight a friend of mine tried to watch this video: http://www.globalmaritimes.com/video/index.html
But, it will not work on her Vista laptop. So I tried everything, I uninstalled flash, reinstalled it, changed various internet settings, etc. I tried IE 7, and firefox but it doesn't matter the video will not work. Yet on my laptop running Ubuntu, this video loads fine in firefox. Is there any suggestions on what is going on? The strange thing is, that all other videos such as youtube will work on her computer just not this ONE video. I'm losing my mind here so any help would be appreciated!

Furthermore, you clearly state, that you've installed
Flash 10.1 BETA...That's not the release version..That's
the beta. So giving me a *SIGH*, won't do you any good since

All flash videos are playing in a split screen since updating

I just updated flashplayer to the latest version (10.2.152.32) and now all videos play in a split screen. The videos get scrunched vertically, and it plays twice one ontop of the other, with a green bar in the middle. I use Opera primarily however I get the same problem Internet Explorer. Any help or advise anyone has would be much appreciated.

You may want to go to this site: http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/. Right click on the Flash logo, Settings,
then UNcheck the hardware acceleration in Display Settings.

I am having a similar problem. I need to watch flash videos for an online class. Whenever I select the video the window opens in QuickTime, readjusts, loads, freezes on the first frame, but the sound continues playing. This happens in Chrome, Safari, and Firefox. My laptop is a MacBook Pro and my operating system is OS Lion 10.7 and I have all the updated software. Please beware, I'm not as tech savvy as everyone else here so I may ask ridiculous questions!

I branched this to a new topic as it sounded like something different than the original post.
You mention that your flash videos are opening with QuickTime. Are you sure these are Flash videos and not QuickTime videos? Do you have a URL we can take a look at to see this problem?

Not all ATV videos are available on Enterprise Cafe

I see that not all the Adobe TV videos are available on enterprise cafe. For ex: the new Flex mobile (burrito) videos are not to be found on the cafe.
The way I look at it, Cafe should be one stop shop for all stuff Adobe. Having to leave this means its broken to some extent :-)
Would be nice if all the videos are included in the cafe. Also would be great if there is another view/sidebar for the videos showing the most recent video content - sort of showing the recent videos added so that we know what is new/latest.

Not all flash videos on websites work

Hi guys,
First off all, I'm really excited because I made the switch to Apple and Leopard. Yay! But I have one issue I can't figure out.
Not all flash videos on websites work, for example: www.x17online.com
Sometimes it's a blank square and sometimes I see an image but I can't play the video. I have flash installed so what's wrong?
Any help is appreciated!

How to fix green screen on all flash videos

Getting a green screen with audio on all flash videos, ranging from EI 11, Google Chrome, and Steam. Running windows 8.1 with all recent drivers and updates. Have tried enabling/disabling hardware acceleration, using software rendering instead of gpu rendering. This has been happening for many months and I still have not been able to find a solution. Have viewed many forums and have tried many solutions with no success. Any help appreciated.

Be sure to try a Reset first

This "reboots" the iPod. If that does not help, try doing a Restore on the iPod in iTunes (from the iPod's Summary tab). This erases the iPod, re-installs its software, and sets it to default settings.
If that does not help, the cause is likely to be a hardware problem.

ALL flash videos looks pixelated, win 7 or 8.1, ONLY with firefox

Latest firefox version, latest adobe flash player.. Had cleaned cache and preferences of both Firefox and Flash Player.. two different machines with different hardwares and SOs, no luck!

Firefox's WEB images are GREAT but all videos looks pixelated as the left picture.. had compared the same video with Firefox and Chrome opened side-by-side.. :\

Hardware acceleration ON of OFF didn't make any difference.. honestly I never saw anyone saying they see any difference switching it..
Of course with a higher resolution (720 or 1080p) there's less pixelation, but with other browsers there ain't such issue..

Flash videos are jumpy and fastfoward if I switch windows...help?!?

This is a problem that seems to have happened after the switch to the newest version of Flash (11,2,202,228). Anyways, I've been noticing videos are fine as long as I keep them in view but if I scroll down on a page, like on Youtube for instance, or browse another window while a video is playing, when I come back to it it will start going crazy fastforwarding-like until it gets to what is supposed to be happening at this moment. I've noticed it on Youtube and also on Skype, the sound usually will continue to play if I go to another window (although there have been a few cut outs) just the video is screwed up when I return to the video, which runs on Flash. Also I used both Firefox and IE, and this happens in both, so it's not a browser problem.
I've thought that this could potentially be a virus however I can't imagine any virus would just affect Flash videos and not affect anything else, considering my computer seems to be running fine otherwise and I've already run quite a few antivirus/antimalware programs, which came up with nothing.

More Flash Video controller skins

I use DW CS3. I'm a very basic-level user doing business
sites/pages and need to get things moving fast. I'm not much into
HTML coding.
I love the fact that when I have a page in DW it's simple to
choose "Insert - Media - Flash Video..." and I get the list of
choices for the file to insert and the dropdown of built-in
players/skins to use. I typically create 640x480 videos and I
typically choose the last one in the list: Halo 3. I always just
choose "Detect Size" and that's it.
However, I really need to add "current time" and "total time"
indicators ("Min:Sec" format) so viewers will know the time they're
in for and so I can have advisors comment on particular sections in
the content of given videos.
I really, really, REALLY want to end up with the same
luxuriously simple functionality that I have now with the current
built-in choice: Just choose it from the drop-down, choose "Detect
Size" and be done with it and move on.
I'd also really like to stay with the generally minimalistic,
clean, sleek, professional look that the Halo skin provides (well,
it's very similar to the typical YouTube skin for that matter).
And I'd really like for it to be truly debugged and 100%
reliable, functional, and compatible with the DW CS3 program.
I'm happy to pay to buy what I'm after.
(Note: If it just can't be done and doesn't exist, then
please guide me to the simplest path for achieving the closest
thing to this by placing HTML code and files in folders as needed
-- or anything else you can suggest.)

I never imagined myself joining the Adobe Forum to troubleshoot an answer. I've combed the FAQ and forums searching for an answer but I'm coming up short. I've googled several search items and have also come up empy. (I'm an IT Tech with more Windows oriented troublehsooting and learning Macs pretty quickly)
I have a Gen 1 MacBook Air that I've come across - Doing so I've wiped the drive and installed a new copy of Lion 10.7.3, all software up-to-date.
Since I've installed flash I haven't had one smooth experience watching a single flash video. I've also installed Google Chrome and come up with the same annoying glitch:
My videos buffer absolutetly fine (regardless of what internet i'm connected to). I hit play and it runs for about 5 seconds then pauses... then I hit the play button and nothing happens. I have to skip back using the bar for the video to start playing again...same process happens repeatidily. It now plays for 1 or 2 seconds if that and pauses.
On all my home PC's flash runs fine and I can browse youtube without any hesitiation, etc. I aslo have a MacMini (used as a media server) that also had a fresh Lion install and runs flash absolutelty fine with the most up-to-date version.
I cannot for the life of me figure out what's wrong with it. I've run all the troubleshooting from Adobe's Help (Clean uninstall/reinstall, adjust the global settings, cleared all cache, wipe history, etc.)
I'm looking for any insight in fixing this issue. The purpose of me acquring this macbook air for entertainment purposes on my daily commute seems to have gone without being able to fully utilize my WiFi hotspot and the macbook air.
I truly don't believe it's a hardware related issue. It's a 1.6ghz Intel Core 2 Duo with 2GB of memory. I've seen far worse windows machines running flash without any issue. P4 1.5ghz 512mb ram..etc.
Thanks for any help you can provide. If there is a way to download older versions of Flash off of here to troubleshoot, that is something I'd like to try but haven't come across.

Hi Michael,
Let's try going back to older versions of the player to determine if we've got a new bug against 11.2. I'd recommend running through the clean install steps (or at least running the stand alone uninstaller), then installing 11.1.102.63 (unzip and locate the dmg). After testing that, run the uninstaller again and then go back to 10.3.183.18. Finally, I'd also recommend trying out 11.3 beta out to see if it occurs there too.

I just purchased a new iMac, and not all Youtube videos are not loading

some of them say "Video not Available".... i have an older PowerPc G5 hooked up next to this new one, and it plays the same youtube videos perfectly

Did you install the adobe flash player plugin? Download it only from the adobe flash player plugin download page. Mount the downloaded dmg and launch the installer. Check the agree to terms to enable the install button and then click the install button.
Once installed, the next launch of your browser should allow you to play youtube videos and flash videos on other flash video sites.

Flash Video Import Skins

I've noticed that many of the flash skin players won't work
with the File-Video-Import option. I can get the skins that are
titled "Over " to work fine. But the "External" skins that wrap
around the actual flv. won't show up on export. All files located
in proper place. I've used several skins to double check. For
example ArcticOverNoVol works, while MojaveExternalAll wont show.
Size setting is 400 x 276. I'm wondering if there is a bug in this
section, I've noticed a lot of people dealing with this. Anyone
know the answer to this?

Click on whatever your using to display the video, whether it
be actual video footage embedded or your using an Adobe video
player component to display it while the footage is hosted
remotely.
Then go to the top toolbar dropdown Window > Component
Inspector.
If your video object is embedded on the stage, look in the
Component Inspector window, on the Parameters tab, there will be
options, one of them is autoPlay, set that to False.
If you are using one of Adobe's pre-built components to
display your video, click your player, and in the Component
Inspector there will be a checkbox labelled "Automatically Play",
uncheck that.

Flash video losing skins in DW

I am embedding Flash SWF files in my Dreamweaver pages. I
haven't uploaded them yet, but when I preview in browser the skins
are missing from the video. I've tried recreating the flash files.
The skin SWF and the video SWF are in the same folder (along with
the FLA).
Any suggestions?

Please make a test copy of your page (name it something the
public won't
know)
upload all your files (don't forget the Scripts folder)
post a link to your test page.
