I know that this is a common mistake on verizon iphone 5. i have the same problem with my iPhone 5 in Germany. It keeps sending data over cellular while I am on wifi. The wifi connection itself works though, even when I turn off cellular data. So my wifi is not broken.
Another thing that makes me curious is that my iPhone keeps sending data to somewhere and I don't know what it is sending. This led to the point that I reached my Monthly limit of 200mb within 2 days!!! And almost 95% of that was upstream. So I bought another 300mb and turned off cellular. Now I turned it back on and the megabytes are just running through. I thought it might be diagnosis and iCloud but I turned both off and it's still the Same way. Due to the enormous amount of data that is being sent the battery empties really really fast!! I was on a 20 minute car drive and my battery went down 23%!!! When I turn cellular off and use wifi it behaves completely normal.
So this is really annoying me and I hope that Apple will fix this or one of you guys can help me.

SithamYou may have a problem with your WiFi network if your iPhone can't stay connected to it.
If you are having WiFi problems it is necessary to isolate whether the problem is with your network or your iPhone. Note: Do NOT consider your network to be blameless if some other devices can connect to it.
First, test your iPhone on some other networks: a friend's, Starbucks, Barnes & Noble, etc.
If it works well there then the problem is with your network. Try restarting your router by removing power for 30 seconds. If that does not help check for a firmware update for your router. If none exists which corrects the problem consider replacing the router.
If your iPhone does not function well on other networks it possibly has a hardware problem. Contact Apple Support or visit an Apple store for evaluation. They can provide a replacement if your iPhone is bad.
If you need more help please give the make, model, and version of your WiFi router and how you have it configured. -
My PC Windows 7 hard drive crashed. I have a new hard drive. But i lost all my CD's that i had burned onto iTunes. They are all still on my iPhone 4s, but when i sync, only the purchased songs will import. Is there anyway to retrieve them? Thanks!
Restore your library from your most recent backup (you do keep regular backups, I hope). If the hard drive is in any way salvageable it may be possible to mount it in an external enclosure, connect it to your PC, and retrieve data from it even if it is not functioning as a primary OS drive (if you don't have the kit necessary to do this, your local PC repair shop may be able to help). Failing that, you can always recreate your library by re-importing your CDs.

We have an older IMac (preIcloud) and just purchased a new Macbook Air. Our Iphones are set-up to synch with the IMAC and my calendars on the IMac & the phone look the same. But when I open ICal on the MacBook Air my calendar is missing items? Help.
Are you wanting to import iCal to the MacBook Air. Since iCloud doesn't work with 10.6 OSX you probably don't have any data in iCloud yet?

You are in Recovery Mode. Follow the instructions below to recover your iPad.
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button.
5. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad. Data will be lost. -
Send data from VI to the Database
Hello everybody
I am competely new to LabView software and how it is used. I was working with an existing VI i got from a friend of mine. He made an ECG vi and i will be using his VI to send data to a Database. I do not know how to accomplish this task. If anyone can point me in the right direction it will be greatly appreaciated. I am using LabView 8.0 on our school computer. Along with this i am attaching the VI my friend created.

Final Hospital screen.vi 58 KBFirst, you need to design and create the database. Do you have any experience with that? Do you actually need a database?
If the answer to the first question is no, then you will also need to learn about databases and SQL.
If the answer to the second question is that you do need it, then after you create the database you need to access it using LabVIEW. In Windows, this is usually done through ADO and there are several free tools on the web for doing this. Searching for LabSQL should provide one example. Searching these forums for Mike Porter's posts should reveal some more VIs. Searching the LAVA forums for "ADO" should get you at least one more.
As for what to do in LabVIEW itself, this depends on your actual setup, but it seems to me that you can use the Get Waveform Components primitive to get the raw data in an easy to use format and then convert it to a string and create a relevant SQL query using the Format Into String primitive.
To learn more about LabVIEW, I suggest you try looking at some of these tutorials.

One of the nice things about MobileMe is/was the ability to send any photo to my MobileMe gallery. I could publish a photo to the web with two clicks, and then I could share the URL with others or post it with /IMG tags in bulletin board forums.
Now that iCloud is revoking this capability in June, I need to host my pics somewhere else on the web. Yahoo, Flicker, Picasso, etc.
I'd like to be able to specify that new destination and continue to use my "Send to MobileMe" button on the phone, so that it remains that easy to do... but the photos go to my new hosting location.
Does anyone know how to do this, or know of an App that would present itself as a tab in Photos to do the same thing?Thanks- photosync looks like it will suffice.
Huge thumbs down to Apple for rolling back functionality that MobileMe had, instead of adding to it with iCloud.
They could have at least grandfathered us. -
Iphone 4S resets itself every few min - the battery drains in an hr.
My iphone 4S is resetting every few minutes as a result the battery drains in an hour.
By resetting I mean, the lock screen would show up, then the apple sign would come up like when you start your iphone, searches for the network etc. This happens every few minute even when the phone is on standby or when I am using it. If I am on the call, then the call gets disconnected because the phone is resetting.
The usage always shows "-" for both Usage and Standby with the message that the usage time will be shown after iphone is fully charged.
This started only a month ago when my phone was not on the latest os version. But now it is on the latest but the problem never did go away. It never fell out of my hand or fall into water and is barely a year old (just 10/15 days over the warranty period).
Please help!And I should mention that I took the foll steps so far:
1. Let the battery drain out completely and charge it overnight
2. Backed the phone, then reset the phone and restored from backup.
3. Took it to the apple store and they did a different kind of restore but no luck
The only thing left for me to try to is to reset it to factory setting unless some one can suggest some other way. -

I am using itunes to control all my music and i like to use my iphone, or my ipad to control my music with the remote app.
But i have a problem: all the music i have in my iphone count as double play.
To explain everything since the beginning, i personally don't like and don't trust at all the music sync capability of itunes.
So i have my music on my pc, and i load every type of music as a single playlist (ex a Pop-Rock folder, with all artists folders and so on, makes me a Pop-Rock playlist).
For my iphone, i created a iphone music folder, with the same classification.
It means that i don't have all my Pop-Rock music, only a selection. But of course the selected music appears also in my complete music collection.
So in itunes i created a folder playlist named iphone music, with inside one playlist by type of music (exemple : Pop-Rock, which contains some files of my main Pop-Rock collection).
So i do have duplicates in my hard drive. But when i selected the playlists to be shared on home sharing in itunes, i selected only the main playlists, not my iphone playlists! But still, when i look for ACDC artist for example, i should see only what i have on my pc, not what i have also on my iphone.
The result is if i play an album for example Back In Black (i have it full on my hard drive, and full on my iphone too), then every song is displayed in remote app in double, and also played in double:
Here is how it is displayed:
Song 1
Song 1
Song 2
Song 2
So the remote app plays Song 1 one time, then Song 1 (the second Song 1) one time and continues like this to Song 2 etc...
I guess that if i put my selection of songs on my ipad, i will then have everything in triple....
It is very annoying. Is there a way for me to change that? Or for an update to be made (based on ID3 Tag) to not play everything twice or more? It would have an ID3 Tag No Double toggle button.
I don't want to select from my main music to send elements to my iphone as doing that i lost a lot of music multiple times. This way of doing is not safe at all (at least for me).
What is possible to do? Is there room for improvement here (i believe so). Is there a way for me to avoir this very annoying effect?
I would really like to put my music to my iPad2 also, but after i'll have triple play....

Same note about no USB installed. Have gone through all steps I can find on the community. Both my work and our home PC are affected. Seems to be directly related to downloading IOS 6. As I pull my pics to my PC just before that date without issue.

Are there data service problems in the northeast on 10/23/14?
Data speeds on my phone are very slow today and applications are not loading or having errors connecting to servers. I am wondering if there are issued due to the thunderstorm last night that came through the Northeast. Someone help?!?!?!

I have just joined itunes match and want to know what I do now. Do I delete all the music on my iphone and ipad and if so how? Once I've done that how do I find the music on the cloud on my phone/ipad?Go to Settings > General > Usage, select Music, then Edit. There will be a delete option there. It may take a few minutes to delete if you have a large collection on your iPhone.

All my photos from iPhoto are in iCloud now? and the app is gone???
for some strange reason my iphoto ap disappeared from the dock--it is gone from my mac as i have tried to find it. i have no place to put phots from my camera -- i don't feel i should have to buy a new version--i had one and don't want another one--or where else can i store my photos?
I was able to go into finder, click on picture hold down the option key and right click on into master folder n some of my photos were there (older photos) but I cant seem to find any of my other pictures!
