All i get is static with new Sound C

I just installed a new audigy2 zs, didnt have driver disk so i downloaded drivers off of here, restarted, and now when i plug in anything....headphones, speakers, all i get is a very loud static noise. Any sounds that are suppose to come out are very quiet under the static and sound very distorted. Any help is needed.

Well, what you are describing sounds like the spdif jack, which is a digital output (Static with a faint audio)
Go two jacks down to the line out , or green front output. Refer to the documentation if you are unsure.
If you now get no sound, check the Creative Mixer to see if Digital Output Only is turned on.

Use the trackpad to scroll, thats what it was designed for. The scroll bars automatically disappear when not being used and will appear if you scroll up or down using the trackpad.
This is a user-to-user forum and most people will post on here if they have problems. You very rarely get people posting to say there update went smooth. The fact is the vast majority of Mountain Lion users will not be experiencing any major problems with the OS, or maybe with apps which are not compatible, but thats hardly Apple's fault if developers don't update their apps.

HT4527 Followed all steps - phone not syncing with new itunes/new pc

I have followed the steps in this article for moving itunes to a new computer. I had no problems with loading my music, itunes folder and mobilesync backups to an external drive and copying them all to a new pc. (Windows 8). Installed itunes onto the new computer and plugged in my phone and restored with last backup. All went well with that. The computer is authorised with my account.
THE PROBLEM: Now when I plug in my iphone 5 to new itunes/ new windows 8 pc, it does not sync. It goes through 3 of 3 steps in about 2 seconds saying syncing, but not really syncing. I tested by adding a new app through the itunes and then synced phone. It didn't add it to the phone. Then I deleted it and added an app to the phone through the app store on the phone. When I synced the phone itunes failed to recognize a purchase on the phone that needed to be added to itunes.
So the itunes and phone are not actually in sync with each other and I don't know how to correct that. I have an ipad with retina display which needs to be added but I don't dare until I figure out what the problem is with syncing the devices to the new itunes/computer. It sees my phone when plugged in - I see my 4 pages of apps on the apps tab. I do not see my email accounts listed on the INFO tab. It just says "your contacts/calendars are being synced with your phone over the air." In the block where my accounts were listed on the old itunes/computer it is empty on this one. The phone is continuing to download email though.
Any help in getting the phone and new itunes in true sync again would be much appreciated!

Same problem with a mac. My computer will recognize the iPod on the desktop and itunes even opens up when I plug it in, but the iPod doesn't appear on the iTunes menu and won't let me sync.

It sounds as if you have tried all of the user troubleshooting. You need to make an appointment at the Genius Bar at the closest Apple store and see if there is a hardware defect.

Unable to get XML payload with new JDBC interface

Hello - I have hit a wall in trying to use the new JDBC dequeue interface. I can get an Oracle connection and get a message with the following code:

But I have found no way to turn this into an XMLType (or even an xml string). In looking at it in the debugger I have found that the only variable set internally on the payload is the byte [] returned by getPayload(). However, I cannot figure out how to turn this into an XMLType. I checked the Oracle documentation and they only discuss sending / receiving RAW message types.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Why am I suddenly getting audio static with FaceTime connection?

I recently started getting audio statice when making a FaceTime connection. The other person can hear me, but I get only static. The image is clear. Is this a problem on their end or mine? Is it the iPad or a router issue? Regular connection to the net is fine and playing of music from I tunes is fine with no static.
I'm puzzled.

You could try to reinstall using the full three step way (otherwise strange things may linger):
Uninstall (ticking the box to delete the preferences), run the Cleaner Tool, and reinstall.

Whenever I close and then reopen firefox all I get is boxes with numbers in them instead of letters or words I have to reboot to get back to regular firefox.

If I leave firefox open and simply minimize everything is fine if I close it and then reopen it even if right away I get the boxes with the numbers instead of letters or numbers.

Try to set the pref gfx.font_rendering.directwrite.use_gdi_table_loading to false on the about:config page.
To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website. 
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page. 
*Use the Filter bar at to top of the about:config page to locate a preference more easily.
*Preferences that have been modified show as bold(user set).
*Preferences can be reset to the default or changed via the right-click context menu.

Still getting Javascript error with new version of UIX

I'm facing some problem after changing my UIX framework version (2.2.3030829.1626).
Currently I'm using UIX version (2.2.3030829.1626) . Paging with table is not working with new frame work .
It is giving me javacript error "object doesn't support property or method" when clicking 'Next' .
It's working fine with old version.
We had used proper cabo directory. These files are in sync with the version of the runtime
Here is our finding
I found a error in _updateFormActions() function from MarlinCoreb2.js file.
In this function it is giving error at
if(a8!=a6)
a7.action=a6 line (line # 1841,1842). If I comment out this two lines page is
working properly without any javascript error.
This problem is a bit tricky....
Because it seems to be a problem with the UIX framework that only occurs on some versions of the Internet Explorer. On some version (IE 6.0.2600.0000) it works fine
and it also works on the Mozilla Firefox browser.
Can any one advice on the same?

Playstation 3 can't get on wifi with new Airport Express

Hi guys. I got the new Airport Express that was released a few days ago. My Mac and other iDevices all connect fine but for whatever reason my PS3 has issues resolving an IP address or whatever. At first I thought I'd solved it by turning off the only DHCP Reservation I had on (for my iMac) but the next day it's not connecting again.
Unfortunately I'm not much of a networking whiz.
I have it set to DHCP (not Static or PPoE) And I'm not sure what else to share but I'd really like to solve this.
It connected once or twice in attempts so I know neither the Airport Express Base Station nor the Ps3 is broken.
Just totally stumped here. :(

As an update, I noticed that the brief moments when my PS3 would attempt to connect, I would see another IP on my Airport Express Base Station. 10.0.1.3
So, wanting to try something out, I went into DHCP reservations on my AEBS and added a DHCP reservation for 10.0.1.3 and assigned my PS3's MAC address to it. I was able to connect instantly.
However, I've been connected briefly before, so only time will tell if it sticks. At this point I don't consider my situation resolved. Clearly my inability to connect has something to do with IP addresses and maybe the 'dynamic' one the PS3 sometimes gets assigned by the AEBS is something one of my other devices is already blocking or using?
I'm not a whiz at this stuff, so if anyone has any insights as to a good way to set up DHCP reservations so that everything works, I'm all ears.
Would it be wise to take the iMac, AppleTV, 2 iPads, and 2 iPhones and assign them ALL different DHCP reservations so that no one steps on anyone else's toes, so to speak?

for some reason when using encoding packs certain features get dismissed. for example all your bass settings will not work, adjusting the slider or bass boost wont do anything. thx console is also out of the picture or any attempt at manipulating single channel level. also total volume output is locked at highest setting, cant do much about it from the console.
what you can do to overcome these limitations is to have your software do these things for you. if the player (lets say KMPlayer) is outputting movie in 5. mode then you can modify individual channel level, add bass boost, adjust volume, etc.
its just the way it is and i find i can li've with it.

5200 photosmart all-in-one problems printing with new dell computer running windows 8.1

have a photosmart C5280 all-in-one that I was using with a computer running windows XP, it worked fine. Bought a new computer running windows 8.1, printer not printing very well at all. It prints page after page of one or two lines of hyroglifics untile I cancelled print document to stop using up paper. I uninstalled printer software and reinstalled from HP web site software for running with windows 8.1 still not working.

I think this has got me printing again. I had to uninstall the full feature software and loaded the driver only. I could not get the full feature software to load completly so I loaded the driver only and this seem to work O.K. Thanks for the help.

Cannot make calls or receive calls. Good network coverage. All I get is static or dead air. I've tried restoring to factory settings. Rebooting ect. No luck. Any suggestions?

i Am using an iPhone 6 plus. just bought it 10 days ago. I am unable to make or recieve calls. I either get static or dead air, the person on the other end cannot hear me or they only hear static. I have tried hard rebooting the phone which did not work. I tried restoring the phone to factory settings no luck. I am out of ideas on how to fix the issue. Laptop Stolen, now How can I get Ipod working with new computer/disable old

My laptop with my itunes was stolen. I still have my IPOD 30GB.....
I have a new computer, and I think I can download Itunes to it and hook up the ipod and it will be able to load ipod content to the new computer???
Also I am worried, what about the old computer, do i need to DeAuthorize it? How would I do that since I don't have it in my possession?

You can't deauthorise a computer you no longer have access to on it's own. However once you reach the limit of 5 authorisations you have the option once a year to deauthorise them all in one go and start over: About iTunes Music Store Authorisation and Deauthorisation

If your iPod is set to update automatically you need to take care connecting to an empty iTunes. If it is set to update automatically you'll get a message that it is linked to a different library and asking if you want to link to this one and replace all your songs etc, press "Cancel". Pressing "Erase and Sync" will irretrievably remove all the songs from your iPod. Your iPod should appear in the iTunes source list from where you can change the update setting to manual and use your iPod without the risk of accidentally erasing it. Also when using most of the utilities listed below your iPod needs to be enabled for disc use, changing to manual update will do this by default. Check the "manually manage music and videos" box in Summary then press the Apply button: Managing content manually on iPod

There is also a manual method of accessing the iPod's hard drive and copying songs back to iTunes on Windows or a Mac. The procedure is a bit involved and won't recover playlists but if you're interested it's available at this link: Two-way Street: Moving Music Off the iPod
Whichever of these retrieval methods you choose, keep your iPod in manual mode until you have reloaded your iTunes and you are happy with your playlists etc then it will be safe to return it auto-sync. I would also advise that you get yourself an external hard drive and back your stuff up, relying on an iPod as your sole backup is not a good idea and external drives are comparatively inexpensive these days, you can get loads of storage for a reasonable outlay.

How to get webpage URL with new Safari V6.0 under OS 10.74

Now that the URL space of Safari allows searching by key words, and there's no separate Google search box, this poses a problem.
Let's say one wishes to search for images of "kendall jenner model".   This will bring you to a Google page of multiple individual images. Just found the cure for Safari 6.0 under 10.74
In Safari preferences, changed the default search engine from Google to Yahoo. Now whenever, for example, a search is made in Google's images, and other websites, the full URL shows in the address line.
Now all websites show the full URL, even through they were derived from search words in the URL field.
