All I get is untitled blank pages.....

I need answers on how to fix this "untitled" page syndrome.. What is shown here on the forum are the problems but not the solution why is that??????

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you about that, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.

  • None of my "paid" books will open in iBooks.  They show they are there, but when I open them all I get is a blank page.  I have checked all the newbie mistakes.  Mavericks will not let me uninstall and reinstall iBooks.

All the books I paid money for will not open in iBooks on my MAC.  Mavericks will not let me uninstall iBooks, so I cannot uninstall and reinstall it on my Pro.  I have deleted and re-loaded the books and they show in my library (as they always did), but when I open them, all I get is a blank page with three dots at the bottom, flashing in sequence.  This does not affect the free books from the book store nor does it affect the PDF I have loaded myself.  (I had this problem on my iPad when the latest big software came out about a year or two ago, but I was able to re-initalize the complete iPad from my Pro Book.)  I have tried just about everything I can think of, but all to no avail.  To save time, I have reset my iTunes password and performed all the other "Apple Tips" in the support section, but after 5 hours I am giving up.  Surely someone else must be having the same issue??

Yup, same issue since installing Mavericks.  iBooks works fine on my wife's Macbook Pro, but on my Mac Pro none of my purchased (protected) books will open - only the free/unprotected ones.
I'm asked for my AppleID password, but nothing happens when I try to open a purchased and downloaded book.   I deauthorized, reauthorized, etc ... nothing.  Each purchased book that I double-click gives me a dialog asking for my Apple ID password.  Nothing else.
I was already buying more books via Kindle than iTunes and this just seals the deal for me.  At least I can read my already-purchased iBooks books on my iPad still...

  • I can't print web pages or emails. All I get is a blank page with nothing but the headed tag at top.

I can't print my emails. Tried to get help from my email provider. They asked if I could print pages. I tried and found out that didn't work either. All I get is a blank page with the header tag at the top.

    Hi,
Please see [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Problems_printing_web_pages this]. If the web page has a Print button/icon you can try to use that. You can also try right-clicking on the relevant section of the page > '''This Frame''' > '''Print Frame'''.

    Hi Epoptops,
Please try downloading from a different browser and check.

  • Suddenly, Firefox won't load many websites. All I get is a blank page. I tried the fix suggested in knowledge base. Used 3 different virus/malware screens. No viruses, but some adware. Removed those, but it still doesn't work

Many common websites won't load, all I get is a blank page. I am running Windows Vista. Tried virus scans, got rid of some adware but it still doesn't work. I am now using Google Chrome. I've used Firefox for many years, but this isn't acceptable

Update: This is NOT just related to "Yahoo" pages, while this problem first began with some of my Yahoo pages, it is now also happening with other NON Yahoo things I want to load up. Like Twitter, or Links in emails that load Blank, or even images within emails that show up Blank in the preview part of Yahoo mail. It is NOT a Yahoo issue as I have loaded up my Yahoo Mail in IE and Chrome, and everything loads wonderfully. I can even load up sites like Twitter, and other websites that will NOT load in Firefox, but they come up fine in other Browsers.
I have done the ONLY suggestion that came from Firefox Tech support, to load up FF in Safe Mode, but the problems still exists. I have uninstalled FF and re-loaded it, but the same problem is there.
Does anyone have any ideas here at all? I can't seem to get any Fire Fox help, so I am reaching out to the community here to see if anyone can help.... Thank you !!

  • When I print a doc from firefox 5 all I get is a blank page, nothing wrong with the printer

Ever since my last upgrade ( to fire fox 5) I don't have a google tool bar , and when I try to print anything from firefox all I get from print or print preview is a blank page! I have done all the maintenance to printer and it prints fine on test and google chrome.

Thanks, Cor-el, but that question addressed a problem I had with FF11 (that was only fixed when FF12 came out). FF12 worked fine for printing selections from emails perfectly up until yesterday afternoon. Reboot didn't help, even after reboot when I preview what I want to print (thank goodness for that option, or I'd be going through a lot of paper) it's still showing the page of text I actually want to print, then 6-8 blank pages afterward. This is not happening with every email, I have noticed ths morning. It now happens with email sent from (or to, as a reply) a yahoo account in Sweden and email sent from (or in reply to) a gmail account in Canada. These previously printed fine. Other emails will print maybe one extra page. There seems to be no rhyme or reason why it would suddenly start doing this. Should I look at the source code? What would I be looking for?

  • Firefox won't run any web pages or go to any URL's. All I get is a blank page.

Firefox started crashing when I used Facebook. I upgraded to the new version and got lots of "memory cannot be read" errors which would crash the program. I installed the Beta version and now all that happens is I get a blank white page. I can't go to any web sites or load any URLs. Bookmarks do not work. I have had to switch to IE for the time being and it runs everything just fine so I know it's not the computer or the web connection. I made sure my proxy settings are correct and I tried disabling Firefox from my firewall and re-adding it, and still no luck. Nothing I do seems to work!

  • Why can't i access my emails, all i get is a blank page

For sometime I'd been using Firefox for my emails, then the screen went blank.
I received some information saying it was something that International Explorer had done, which stopped me gaining access.
Can anyone explain what I need to do to get back emailing with Firefox?

  • I've just updated to Firefox 3.6.2 and when I try to open it all I get is a blank page which says Service Unavailable, try again later.

There are no more details. That's exactly what happens.

I have the same problem. I have never had a problem with Firefox before, and use it as my main browser. However recently, after updating to 3.6.8, its been crashing all the time. Up to 20 times an hour. Usually it occurs when I click a link from a Google search, or in Yahoo. Even if I send in a crash report and restart Firefox, it crashes as soon as the same page is brought back up, or the same link is clicked. I have also had it crash when completely idle. Its very frustrating as it is my favorite browser. I've resorted to using Google Chrome for the time being.

  • Upgraded to 3.6. Now when Firefox loads, I'm unable to bring up any websites? All I get is a blank page. Firefox used to work just great - until I upgraded to 3.6.

Firefax used to work great. Just upgraded to 3.6. Now firefox loads, but I'm unable to access anything on the web.

If you aren't able to connect in Firefox, but can connect with other programs, the most common cause is a firewall. See [[Firewalls]] for instructions on configuring firewalls.
Other possibilities for broken connections include:
    * Proxy settings can be misconfigured. Check these the [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Options+window+-+Advanced+panel Advanced panel of the Options window].
    * You are in offline mode. Make sure "Work offline" in the File menu is ''unchecked''.

I click on a link, and get a new blank page, not the info expected. I use AVG Free Edition, Windows 7 Professional. I have tried "open link in new tab" - no joy. Not all links are affected. It is not possible to say when a link is going to fail or work - it seems random.

Hi, blank white screen where exactly?
Make a New Location, Using network locations in Mac OS X ...
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2712
    10.5, 10.6, 10.7 & 10.8…
System Preferences>Network, top of window>Locations>Edit Locations, little plus icon, give it a name.
    10.5.x/10.6.x/10.7.x/10.8.x instructions...
System Preferences>Network, click on the little gear at the bottom next to the + & - icons, (unlock lock first if locked), choose Set Service Order.
The interface that connects to the Internet should be dragged to the top of the list.
    If using Wifi/Airport...
Instead of joining your Network from the list, click the WiFi icon at the top, and click join other network. Fill in everything as needed.
For 10.5/10.6/10.7/10.8, System Preferences>Network, unlock the lock if need be, highlight the Interface you use to connect to Internet, click on the advanced button, click on the DNS tab, click on the little plus icon, then add these numbers...
    208.67.222.222
    208.67.220.220
(There may be better or faster DNS numbers in your area, but these should be a good test).
    Click OK.
