  • How to get all image files from a folder to wwv_flow_files?

    Hi there!
    Is it possible in apex to show, in a report look-a-like, all image filenames from a folder in another machine (i enter in that machine by ip) and insert all files into wwv_flow_files?
    I want to see all files, then pick one and open a image...
    But it can't be by browse item... it has to show all filenames as a list...
    If it is possible, how can i do it?
    Thanks!
    Best regards,
    Luis Pires

    Hi,
    you can connect to the server using UTL_HTTP.
    Then for each files you copy the response into a BLOB to be able to show it or to store it in a table.
    A piece of code :
    begin
       -- initialize the BLOB.
       dbms_lob.createtemporary(l_blob, false);
       -- path to the file
       l_url := 'http://your_server/your_file.jpg';
       -- begin retrieving the target.
       l_req := utl_http.begin_request(l_url);
       -- identify ourselves (some sites serve special pages for particular browsers)
       utl_http.set_header(l_req, 'User-Agent', 'Mozilla/4.0');
       -- start receiving the response.
       l_resp := utl_http.get_response(l_req);
       -- copy the response into the BLOB.
       begin
          loop
             utl_http.read_raw(l_resp, l_raw, 32767);
             dbms_lob.writeappend (l_blob, utl_raw.length(l_raw), l_raw);
          end loop;
          -- stop when exception end_of_body is raised
       exception
          when utl_http.end_of_body then
             utl_http.end_response(l_resp);
       end;
    end;It's a minimal example, you may need authentication, check l_resp.status_code, etc...

  • Images missing from Import?

    I imported a large number of images into Lightroom today, then noticed several images are missing from the library. When I try to import again, the image cannot be selected and it says that it is a "duplicate" image. How can I get those supposed duplicate images, that are missing from the library to appear?

    So, according to Lightroom, you have already imported the photo. It's not a good idea to import it a 2nd time.
    Here's how to find it ... follow all 4 of these steps, in sequence
    Go to the Catalog Panel (it's on the left) in Lightroom's Library Module and click on All Photographs
    Turn off all filters (Ctrl-L or Cmd-L once or twice)
    Expand all Stacks (Photo->Stacking->Expand All Stacks)
    Search for one of these files by file name.

  • Reinserting Preview/Images missing from  Library and Project

    After ingesting my images from CF reader into a project, I started working on them. For some reason after working on them for awhile, I started noticing that previews were missing from the project. I looked in the Library and they were not there either. However, when I looked in to the project folder (via the Aperture "folder" in Finder), the images and associated Aperture information files were all there in their respective folders.
    I'm not sure how I lost/deleted so many images from my folder and Library (I may have accidently deleted a stack, but when I searched the number of images missing I know I could not have accidently deleted that many that way if I did). But since the files are still on my hard drive in their respective folders, in the right location, is there a way to bring them back into Aperture?
    Thanks,
    Ed

    bump...if anyone can tell me that would be great. I know it sounds like a dumb question, but for the life of me I cannot do any command - import, etc. - that can get these files that reside in the actual folder to show up in Aperture's Library or its original project.
    Thx,
    Ed

  • Aperture installation deleted all image files from MacBook Pro.

    After installing Aperture 3, I noticed that all the image files I had on my MacBook Pro immediately disappeared. These were stored in various locations throughout my computer depending on subject (e.g. "Emergency Response Training", "Summer 2009", "Car Restoration" and so on). A small number were in the "Pictures" folder but most were kept in other locations. All the folders and subfolders where these images were stored are intact but the images are gone. There is simply a "thumbs.db" file inside and the folder size is about 6 kb on average.
    I did nothing other than install Aperture (no importing or library creation) and none of these images or folders are in the Aperture library. A similar thing happened with iPhoto where all my iphoto thumbnails show up but there appears to be no actual photo. No images prior to Aperture installation appear anywhere on the Macbook using tailored queries with "Find".
    Apple support indicated that Aperture would not search out these photos unless prompted and would never delete them but It's hard to imagine how else this could have happened, as it happened only during installation (subsequent photos are fine) and targeted all image files in every location. Hard drive is new and indicates no problems.
    Any ideas what might have happened - and, more importantly, how I might be able to recover the missing images? Unfortunately, my upgrade to Lion obliterated my DNS 321 back up disk, as well, and I don't yet know if I can recover those files.
    Thanks for any help you can offer.

    Apple support claimed it was impossible for Aperture to delete files, as well, Allen. All I can tell you is I installed Aperture and the files immediately disappeared. I installed Aperture with the intention of learning its capabilities over the ensuing months, as I had never used it before, and so made sure to do nothing but install and launch so I could have a look at it and see how it was set up.
    The network hard drive obliteration occured when I was trying to transfer novie files from my Macbook to my DNS 321 network drive, which I use to store all my backups and most of my media files. I've done this countless times with Snow Leopard without a hitch. However, when I tried it with Lion the system locked up during the transfer and I lost my connection to the drive. Once I managed to reconnect, I found that I couldn't get into the folders on the network drive anymore. All that would come up was a "My Documents" folder, which had no content. After doing a websearch I discovered that Lion no longer supports DNS 321 and that others with similar style drives had been having similar problems. What might be unique to my situation was that when I hooked up an old PC to the DNS 321 I was able to get back into my original folder set up but I found that the folders labelled from (A to J) were missing entirely and that the remaining folders had no content.
    So, as I mentioned in my first post, the only input from me was installation and launch of Aperture and the only thing I was doing with my network drive was transferring movie files from the Macbook to the DNS 321 drive. If neither of those actions could possibly have caused the problems I described, I'd be very eager to learn what did.

  • Images Missing from PDF

    From RoboHelp > Printed Documentation > Generate Adobe PDF -  all images are missing in final output. In the Images Section, I have Embed in documents selected. Please advise a solution.

    I'm using RoboHelp 7.03.001 and Adobe Acrobat 9.0
    I tried your suggestion of generating the printed document in Word. The images still did not appear. I searched your site before I posted here, and I did not find the answer. Please advise. Thank you.

  • AI file import/open all images missing

    I'm using FW CS6 to build a mockup of a website for my university course. I've completed the first part by designing the idea in Illustrator CS6 and using Fireworks to turn it into the interactive PDF.
    The preview file/opening the design in AI has all images and everything we want, so the images are holding their links properly.
    When I open this file in Fireworks to build the web part of the design, none of the images are showing up.
    How do I get the photos to be visible from the AI file?

    Embedding is what I needed, now how do I link all of my pages together?
    When I use slice or hotspot and link the pages accordingly, anything outside of home.html says "file does not exist"
    How do I resolve that?

  • Image missing from design view

    Hi. In DW CS4 on XP.
    I have an image that is missing in my design view from DW. It shows up in the live view, but when I select it I cannot get the option to change the image.
    I do not want to change the image in the code. It is not loading my new picture under the same filename for some reason.
    I have all the visual aids shown except the first 2 listed: CSS layout backgrounds & box models.
    I tired selecting all over the table this page is designed in. I cannot seem to select that picture missing. Right now it is a missing link & usually I am able to click the missing link box. I even tried opening it up in DW 8, but I am not even able to select the box, but at least I see it.
    Please help if you can.
    Thanks.

    I would have said "Try renaming the folder containing the images in Rh's Project Manager. That sometimes fixes the problem. You can revert to the old name afterwards."
    Keeping all the images, and / or topics, in the root is never a good idea. It can slow things down and it's messy.
    You can move the images you can see but obviously you cannot move the others. Try moving a topic that has one of the images to a different folder and see if that refreshes. Also try deleting the CPD file and reopening Rh.
    Backup first.

  • All printers missing from Print Management

    Okay, so I have a weird issue.  I am running Windows Server 2008 Standard SP1 on my local workstation and used to be able to fully administer all printers in our company via Print Management installed as a feature from Remote Server Administration Tools > Role Administration Tools > Print Services Tools.  One day earlier this week, I lost this ability.
    All printers literally disappeared.  I can still see drivers, forms and ports, but absolutely no printers.  However, within printers inside Print Management, I can still add a new printer although I cannot see it - but know that it has been added successfully by consoling the respective print server and tested it.  I also am still able to see all deployed printers (via GP) and can still deploy those that have previously been deployed.
    Nothing has changed in terms of security rights (I am a Domain Admin), firewall settings, or Windows Updates.
    The print servers that I connect to are all on the same subnet, and are running Windows Server 2003 R2.
    I've tried removing and re adding the Print Services Tools in Server Manager and tried updated Windows Media Services 2008 via this link.
    I cannot find anything out on the web indicating a similar issue,  so I am hoping someone on this forum may be able to help.
    If this is a known issue, I must of overlooked the post, so please post the link for me.
    Thank you,
    Bob

    Hi,
    As far as I know, most printer object missing issue can be caused by the printer pruning. This feature is an thread running inside spoolsv.exe on the Domain Controller. It will periodically check if the printer object is valid. After trying several times, if the object always considered as invalid, DC will remove this object form AD.
    To disable printer pruning, we can simply disable spooler service. The only impact is the printing function on DC is not available. But, all the client and printer server will not affected. Client can still search object in AD.
    The following are two policy related to pruning:
    1.      On DC, run gpedit.msc and locate Computer configuration/Administrative Templates/Printers
    2.      Make sure all the pruning related policy is set to disabled
    Disabled the policy "Allow pruning of published printers"
    Enable the policy “Directory pruning interval”, and set the interval to Never

  • Install Image Missing from List

    I am trying to deploy Windows Embedded Standard 7 from our WDS server, built on Windows Server 2008 R2.  I've added the install.wim file from the WES7 DVD, and I can see it listed under Install Images in the WDS control panel, but it doesn't appear
    as an option on the client computer when I boot into PXE.  I've also tried restarting the WDS service, as well as the
    WDSUTIL /Update-ServerFiles command, to no avail.
    Searches have given me 3 possible causes, all of which have been ruled out:
    Wrong Architecture - I have tried both x86 and x64 client machines, and other x86 images are showing up and installing fine
    File permissions - I have double-checked that users have write access to the folder holding the WIM files - again, other images in the same folder work fine.
    HAL mismatch - the WES7 image has the same HAL type (acpiapic) as other images that are working.
    Is there something I'm missing here?  I'm using the boot.wim from the standard Windows 7 install DVD - does this make a difference?

  • I just find out many images missing from my most important project for no reason and don´t know what to do!

    I was checking my SDHC cards to see which ones had already been downloaded to my computer and sudenly after I inserted one of the cards an anouncement poped out telling me Aperture had trouble importing many files... since this card had already been downloaded in one of my projects and had been working on some of the pictures I did not mind and took the card out and formated it in my camera (as I said before all the pictures had been downloaded before!) and I went to work on Apperture. When I opened the project I was going to work in I found lots of pictures missing!
    I don´t know how to recover this pictures or if it can be done!
    This is my most important project to date!
    I will greatly appreciate any help.
    Alberto Ayala

    Hello Léonie,
    I will try to be more specific:
    I inserted my memory card and opened Aperture. I Pressed import and chose an existing project as a destination after choosing only the pictures I wanted to keep for imediate use (done this same precedure before). The importing procedure started and everything was "normal" but the "procesing" indicator (the spinning circle in the low left corner) never stoped (even the day after) so I quit Aperture,turned of my computer and took out the memory card.
    Later I restarted my computer, oppened Aperture and saw all the pictures I wanted there, I even made versions and worked on some of them and everything was fine so far... The big problem came when I was cheking my memory cards -days later- to erase some of them for reuse and to make a back up copy of the full card in a diferent folder on the desktop of my computer (as I told before In Aperture only downloaded some pictures) and inserted the card that presented the continus "procesing" inconvinience: Somehow it created a link to Aperture and a notification poped telling me that some files where unable to download...
    Since I had already seen and worked with the files in Aperture I thought the message was a mistake (the files had been imported ok before!) so I took out the card and reformated it in my camera (BIG MISTAKE!) and for my surprise when I wanted to work with this files and their versions and opened Aperture all of them were gone as If they had never been imported!
    I opened the back up folder on my desktop just to find none of the files was saved there even though the downloading had run fine...
    I tried to restore my Aperture library from Time Machine this morning but I think I made another BIG MISTAKE when answered to replace my library instead of keeping both... I found some files replaced, none of the diferent versions I had done, some files missing, some foulty tumbnails and God knows what else...
    I´m very frustrated and disapointed and don´t know if there is anything I can still do to recover my files...
    I don´t know if I should blame Apple´s Aperture or the card´s manufacturer for the origin of this problem but how can I trust my work to this combination of factors?
    Thanks for your concern Léonie and have a good new year!

  • Images missing from gallery N85

    The image gallery on my N85 has suddenly stopped showing all the images in the 'Captured' library (where they are split into months). If I select 'All' from the options I can view all photos taken on the phone, but I'd like them in the months folders - strange that they should just disappear.
    Is there a way to re-index the library so the phone picks up the dates the photos were taken? Software still seems a little buggy, I'm running software v20.175.53.1 (Date 06-04-09)
    Thanks for any advice.

    during the installation, a corruption may have occurred in the software which may cause problems. Some phones hang due to this, so why not this? Anyway, I read your problem again, and it may be caused by a virus or a file corruption in your memory card. The phone itself cannot be affected by viruses but your card is. Also, as I said, a file corruption is a possibility. This more often happens to music files, with the same symptoms. You could try to copy your memory card's files into your PC via mass storage mode, then reformat your card.

  • Images missing from collections

    I've been using Lightroom since beta days with no problem...
    However, I've just opened Lightroom and, worryingly, I saw most of the images in most of my collections, remove themselves within a matter of seconds.
    All the collections in the shot had images in, and now most are empty.
    Any suggestions/help appreciated.
    Windows 7
    LR 2.5

    I have experience of the same thing too. It looks like this when you go to the collections. (two examples shown) but I have no idea what has caused it or how to remedy it.  System is Mac Snow Leopard but I suspect the problem occurred prior to upgrade from Leopard but went unnoticed as a result of not clicking on the collections. Importing the catalog to another doesnt help. Same result with backup catalogs. Opening catalog on a different system doesnt help.  Very odd behaviour.
    I should note that this isnt a case of undoing a session as it has affected dozens of collections and there is no correlation between them. All collections are "dumb" collections in sets and in most cases the entire set is not affected. Also, the result is not always zero, some collections just reduce in volume by one or two.

  • Image missing from Search results

    When my search results come up, in the top left corner of the
    results is a red x indicating a missing image. Checking the
    properties of this image, it is a 28 x 30 pixel image. Address just
    shows
    http://robohelp/Robo/BIN/ (our
    intranet site is
    http://robohelp). What is this missing
    image? and how can I make it appear (or delete).
    Also strange thing happened this morning where clicking on
    the search button brought up all the main navigation buttons again
    where the search results should appear and also search field did
    not work at all. I closed browser and started new session and all
    is well now, but RoboHelp does some strange stuff sometimes.
    Thanks.
