All images on all websites are slightly blurry

I tried searching for help, and the only thing I saw was to try resetting the zoom (command+0 on Mac) but that didn't change anything. Please advise.

didnt it bother you when the ubuntu network manager bothered for the keyring password everytime it tried to access a network? thats how it was 'solved'
i dont see how this could be a security issue because:
a) to access the file remotely, you need to already be connected to the network.
b) if someone you dont trust has local access to the keyboard. then you have bigger problems than leaking your wireless password.

Firefox 5 and 6 are slightly blurry, relative to IE9 or various applications.

Images and text are very slightly blurry in our deployment of Firefox. We've been FF5, and are moving to 6 - but have not seen the issue resolved in 6. FF3.x is nice and crisp in its display of text and images - as is IE9, and various installed apps. We see this on variety of new computers, with updated graphics drivers and ClearType running.

try this next
1 - remove the effects on all the objects, add a new slide, copy over the objects onto the new slide then add the effects again
if this does not work
2 - delete the slide and re-create from start

When downloading CS6 on my Mac all programs are indistinct/blurry/pixely

Hello! I have a problem with downloading CS6 programs. I just bought a Mac and got a new serial number for my CS6 etc. and when I now downloaded the Mac-version the programs are all indistinct/blurry. They look very "pixely" - not just pictures etc., but the whole program! Do I need to change settings somewhere or why does it look like this?
Here is a picture to give you an example. If you compare Photoshop with the "menu" over it, you see the difference. The program is pixely, WHY?

Install the Retina-enabling updates for PS and AI. All other apps do not support Retina in CS6 and simply will look soft.

All websites are blank pages..?

I recently downloaded Firefox, I've always used internet explorer with no problem. But Firefox is not working at all, it does not even start to load websites, but immediately goes to a 100% blank page with the header,"(untitled)". What should I do?

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you about that, maybe after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox.

After updating, all fonts on all websites are bold, help?

I just updated to Firefox v7.0, using Windows 7. I go into Gmail and all of my email looks unread. I realize this is not a gmail setting as CNN is the same, as is all other sites. Please help me get my fonts back to normal! I checked my default and I am not on Arial Black or anything, I am not zoomed in, and my Arial font is not corrupted.

almost every website I visit is blocked and I have to add security exception for everyone every time. Did not do this until I downloaded firefox 35.

Check the date and time and time zone in the clock on your computer: (double) click the clock icon on the Windows Taskbar.
Check out why the site is untrusted and click "Technical Details" to expand this section.
If the certificate is not trusted because no issuer chain was provided (sec_error_unknown_issuer) then see if you can install this intermediate certificate from another source.
You can retrieve the certificate and check details like who issued certificates and expiration dates of certificates.
*Click the link at the bottom of the error page: "I Understand the Risks"
Let Firefox retrieve the certificate: "Add Exception" -> "Get Certificate".
*Click the "View..." button and inspect the certificate and check who is the issuer of the certificate.
You can see more Details like intermediate certificates that are used in the Details pane.
If "I Understand the Risks" is missing then this page may be opened in an (i)frame and in that case try the right-click context menu and use "This Frame: Open Frame in New Tab".

Once I changed the settings "request desktop site", now I revrsed the Setting.Nonetheless, all websites are opening in desktop mode.Any solution?

Please change the user agent.
To change the User Agent string, just enter about:config as an address in the address bar of FireFox, the location where you normally enter a URL (link). I recommend to preserve the original value, which you can get when you enter just about: in the address bar.
Now press the right mouse button to get the context menu and select "String" from the menu entry "New". Enter the preference name "general.useragent.override", without the quotes. Next, enter the new User Agent value "Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.2; en-us; Nexus One Build/FRF91) AppleWebKit/533.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/533.1" ( also without quotes) .

Images on websites are not clearly displayed

Dear All,
The last month or so i have noticed that images on websites are not as clear as they used to be. Seem to be fuzzy. This is not a great help when im buying cosmetics or clothes as the images are not clear enough to see what im purchasing. Its not just one website its all.
Ive not changed anything on my laptop that i know of, its all running as when i purchased it.
Does anyone have any suggestions for me to try?

Its not a notebook malfunction. There is all ok with the hardware. I assume you have changed something in the IE settings or the images on the websites are really blurred.
You can try to check the settings in the IE option View. Check if the text size is set to medium and the encoding to Unicode (UTF8)
What you can do also to reinstall the IE.

Safari stopped showing images in all websites

Morning all,
A few days ago Safari 6 (OS X Mountain Lion) stopped rendering images in all websites (no exceptions, all image types).
Bizarrely a few other symptoms of this are shown below,
1) Right-click over where an image should be, and clicking download downloads the image.
2) Right-click over where an image should be, copying the image URL and pasting this into a new tab works (image loads)
3) Spacing is right for absent images (for those with and without css width/height rules or html size attributes)
I have tried everything I can think of,
1) Reset Safair
2) Delete cache.db from Library/Safari
3) Clearing browser history
The only thing I can think off (but can't work out how to do this with Safari 6/Mountain Lion is to uninstall Safari and reinstall).
I have enabled the Safari debug menu, and find nothing under there which affects the problem. The symptom almost looks like a 'Do not render images' flag has been turned on, but I can find no such flag.
Any help appreciated, I'd really warmed to Safari with V6, but have now had to move away from it until this matter is resolved.

I have officially gone bonkers.
Entirely my fault, I'd disabled images in the Develop menu. Can't believe I didn't notice that for the 5 or 6 days I've had the problem.

All graphics / vector in Save for Web are getting blurry / unsharp from Illustrator

All graphics / vector in Save for Web are getting blurry / unsharp from Illustrator. Same problem with save for web in Photoshop. Frustrating to be working as a designer and not be able to create sharp logos for mail sign, word templates, PPT templates etc etc. I purchased this Adobe Creative Cloud package in Sept, and are working on my Mac HD, OSX, Vers 10.9.4. I have been using the same programs on a PC for years and never had this same problem. Its frustrating!! What to do??

gif, jpg and png are pixel formats, so please clarify what the problem is supposed to be.
