All Installations of CC products fail thru AAM. Why?
Good day... I am trying to clean install Creative Cloud Apps and managed to get the AAM installed and when I tried to download Premiere thru the AAM, it failed... repeatedly. All the other Apps have failed as well.
Just looking for some help...
Thanks!
John,
Thanks. It took me a while to find the Go feature on my Mac (thank god for google), but I did what they suggested and renamed that folder. I'll let you all know if it works.
Be well,
Bruce

I installed all creative suite /cloud products on my main hard drive which has just failed. I can't open the apps on that drive. How can I deauthorize them when the drive is damaged beyond repair and unresponsive?
Kay5000 you are posting in a pubic forum.
As Ankit stated please try installing and activating Creative Cloud on your replacement computer/hard drive. If you have reached your maximum activation count then you will be prompted to deactivate all your activations. This will then allow you to activate on the replacement computer/hard drive.
For Creative Suite 6 I would recommend that you try installing as well. If you receive a message that you have exceeded your amount of allowable activations then please contact our support team directly. Our support team will be able to increase your activation count and allow you to install on the replacement computer/hard drive. You can contact our chat support at http://adobe.ly/yxj0t6 to make this request. -

ACR 8.4 CC RC install fails with AAM message 'patch not applicable'
ACR 8.4 CC RC install fails with AAM message 'patch not applicable' - Running Photoshop CC on OSX 10.7.5
Anyone seen this or have any ideas for a fix?
I also have my legacy CS6 installed on the same Mac - tried installing ACR 8.4 CS6 RC and that fails with the same dialogue box from AAM
The DNG converter installs no issue.
Thx
Chris.Do you have some other software, like Photoshop Elements 12 on your system that would generally also be compatible with ACR 8.4 final but isn’t compatible with the RC because the RC’s only for PS users?
I installed the RC the same day it was released on my computer that has PS-CS6 & PS-CC with Windows 7 and it worked ok, so the update generally works, but something isn’t on your systems.
Are you up-to-date with your PS-CC version, which seems to be 14.2.1:
http://blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/2014/02/photoshop-cc-14-1-1-update-now-available.html
And is CS6 updated to 13.0.6?

Installation of Management Console fails
I'm trying to install the OpsMgr Management Console on our management server, but it fails:
Windows Installer installed the product. Product Name: System Center Operations Manager 2012 Console. Product Version: 7.1.10226.0. Product Language: 1033. Manufacturer: Microsoft Corporation. Installation success or error status: 1603.
All requirements, as stated
here, are there. So I reboot the server and executed msiexec directly:
msiexec /i Z:\Setup\AMD64\Console\OMConsole.msi OM_INSTALLDIR="
C:\Program Files\Microsoft System Center 2012 R2\Operations Manager" SEND_CEIP_R
EPORTS=0 MU_SETTING=0 /l*v c:\temp\msi.log
When I open the verbose log I get some more detail but I still don't understand what is happening:

What is going on and why is the installation failing?I suggest uninstalling both .Net frameworks (3.5 & 4.5), reboot server and then install them back, if not 4.5, try installing 4.0 and try installing SCOM, hopefully this should work
Else, as per your exception there seems some problem with CAS policy which was obsoleted by the .Net framework

the device has encountered an unexpected error. Installation error: application verification failed
I have been receiving this message over and over again when trying to publish my iOS app for the app store (I use Flash cc AIR 3.9.1.1080 for iOS and my settings are: "device testing in interpreter mode", as my app uses several swfs).
I have done everything from scratch, as recommended on other sections of the forums: new app ID from my apple developer account, new Distribution Certificates, new Distribution Provisioning Profiles and nothing works.
I can install my app on my iPad if I use the development Certificate and Provisioning Profile and everything seems OK. But as soon as I use the Distribution Certificate and Provisioning Profile get the same message:
the device has encountered an unexpected error. Installation error: application verification failed
I have done everything from the beggining over and over and nothing works. Am I the only one having this issue on Flash cc???Hi Daniel:
I´m far from being an expert on Xcode (or any code) but this is what I did and it worked:
- On Xcode go to Preferences > Accounts > select your App Developer Account, then click "view details" on the lower right corner.
- There you can see which of your "Signing Identities" (Certificates) are "Valid". You should have at least one for Development and one for Distribution.
- Below that window there are two icons which you can use to add, export or revoke a "Signing Identitie" (Certificate).
- Choose the one you want to use (Develop. or Distrib.), export it to the folder of the app you are working on and name it in such a way you can relate it to your app. Before knowing this I was exporting them using Keychain Access and I wasn´t naming them to differentiate each one properly.
- On your Apple Developer account create the Provisioning Profile for your app. I deleted any App IDs or Prov. Profs. which were useless.
- Then on my Apple Developer account I generated a Development Prov. Prof. to install and test my app on my iPad. All went fine.
- Then an Ad Hoc Prov. Prof. again to install and test my app on my iPad. All went fine.
- Then I generated the App Store Prov. Prof. and I was able to install the app on my device without the upsetting error.
- Then I uploaded the app to iTunes Connect with no problem.
These link was useful for me: https://developer.apple.com/library/ios/technotes/tn2318/_index.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/D TS40013777-CH1-TNTAG0
You can also search for "Certificates" and "Provisioning" on Xcode help.

Installation of component VCSServiceManager failed for vCenter 6.0
Hi
When installing vcenter 6.0 i get the below errors; I see that there are solutions on the vcenter release notes page -https://www.vmware.com/support/vsphere6/doc/vsphere-esxi-vcenter-server-60-release-notes.html they are not working for me.
Error 1:
An error occured while starting invsvc.
VMWARE workaround: Workaround: Use the IP address or the host name of the database server to create a DSN.
Does not work for me, i use the full hostname on my DSN
Error 2:
Installation of component VCSServiceManager failed with error code '1603'. Check the logs for more details.
VMWARE Workaround: Before you install VMware vCenter Server 6.0.0, make sure the IPv4 stack is installed. If the command netsh interface ipv4 show interfaces results in a message: The request is not supported., the IPv4 stack has been uninstalled and should be reinstalled. To reinstall the IPv4 stack, run the netsh interface ipv4 install command and reboot the machine.
I don't get the error the request is not supported. No errors at all. Even if i uninstall the ipv4 stack and install it again, problem still persists.

My DSN sql server connection string dont have a trailing white space, and i even changed the DSN name, I changed the sql server connection name to the IP. Same error.
I even tried the solution provided on this site: http://christopher-technicalmusings.blogspot.com/2015/04/installing-vcenter-600-gives.html
Does not solve my problem.
Your assistance will be appreciated. Thanks
Regards,
MervinFixed my issue. I went into SQL Configuration Manager and enabled "Named Pipes" and "TCP/IP" and it works. Don't know if Named Pipes is necessary.. maybe only TCP/IP.

Installation Succeeded but Patch Failed. Download Error Support (49)
Installation Succeeded but Patch Failed. Download Error contact Support (49)
i have the exact error. I have CC for Photographer for quite some times now and it updates on and off normally until perhaps a couple of month ago. Lr updated ok. ACR updated ok. But Ps ended up with such error. I uninstall it and tried again, same error. There was one hit that mention about disabling McAfee anti-virus. Since my machine is managed by my company, I can only disable it by booting Windows (Win 7 enterprise) in Safe Mode. I did but the same error. Any other suggestion?
By the way, my other machine which I install exactly the same CC applications have no problems at all so I am quite sure it is my company machine that is causing the problem. I just need to figure out what is wrong. -
Which is the software needed for an installation on a production server
Hi,
which is the software needed for an installation on a production server (windows 2008) of Forms/Reports 11g ?
I mean the old 10g stand alone forms and report service but un 11g release ..
RegardsFor application deployments (production), you will need the following software. The same is true for a design-time environment.
1. Weblogic Server 10.3.2
2. Fusion Middleware 11.1.1.2
See my update in the following:
Re: Some FORMS quesion...
All products are contained within the Fusion Middleware (Forms, Reports, Portal, Discoverer) distribution. This includes Builders, Runtime components, HTTP Server, Web Cache, etc. During the installation process, you choose which you want to install. -

Why WSUS installation on WS2012 R2 fails with message indicating server restart required?
Dear all,
I've trying to install WSUS server role on WS 2012 R2 standard. Server is domain joined, and local SQL server (SQL Server 2008 R2 with SP3) installed. This SQL server is to host the WSUS database.
WS 2012 R2 is fully patched. Nothing else is installed on this server except SQL server mentioned above. I initiate WSUS role installation, specify that WIS is not required, rather WSUS database is required, database connection to locally installed SQL server
is established; which succeeds without any problem, but when wizard starts WSUS role installation it continues to fail over and over. It indicates in server manager task view that role installation failed because the server require restart.
I restarted server several times, repeated the process but this continues to behave like this.
Why WSUS installation on server fails repeatedly?
Why log should be examined or any other dependency is missing here?
Please advise.
Regards,Hello Steven,
Thanks for the input, in fact I did mention server name to pick SQL server instance from, since the only instance configured is default instance locally on the server where I'm trying to install WSUS on.
When Add Roles/Features selection wizard gets to WSUS configuration; it asks for location where updates will be stored, next it asks to connect to SQL server to use for SUS database; that's where I specify local server's host name (in my case HQCAS) and
click "Check connection" this succeeds without any error.
All these steps proceed without any problem, but later on, WSUS role installation fails. I also checked CBS.log file; but it didn't give any specific clues? The only message I receive is that role installation requires server restart.
I reboot server; start all over, but the behavior remains the same. Since WSUS role did not get install in the first place, it won't be possible to check event viewer for WSUS related events. Moreover...wsusutil.exe tool will also be not available until
after successful install.
I couldn't reach any post deployment. Had a look at that link you forwarded, the
update mentioned in below area also doesn't apply since I specify the local server's host name and then click "Check connection". This steps goes without any error. Any other insight would be greatly appreciated.

Allways two installations of Adobe Products in my System
I find allways two installations of Adobe Products (for example Premiere Pro CS6 and Premiere Pro CC 2014)
Do I need two installations or can I delete one of them? Thank you for your help.
MarcCloud members have access to 3 major versions: CS6, CC and CC 2014.
It's up to you if you want to install and run them all or only the latest.
If you only want the latest (CC 2014) then feel free to uninstall the older versions.
