All installed adobe cc programs refuse to start

Hi,
after messing around with my "cc desktop app empty window" problem I now have a serious other one.
When I now want to start After Effects or Photoshop or another CC Program a window pops up saying that log in is neccesary. I than enter my email and password and another window pops up saying:
Error
There was an error with this action. Try again later.
843bda8c-1da3-47ca-946c-c64fa577d4c9
The last row of numbers and letters change with every try.
I cannot start any program and I cannot Install any because of my app window is still empty/blank
Please Help!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks again,
after phoning the Adobe support everything is clear.
I accidentally deleted the OOBE folder in the wrong Library/ApplicationSupport/Adobe folder.
I did not see the hidden Library folder in the user section and therefor thought I had to delete the one on the main system Library folder, which has the same name....
After deleting the OPM.db file and reinstalling the cc desktop app, everything works fine again.
The problem was, that without access to the CC desktop app for log in, the system treated me like a test-user and that causes the error.
Best wishes....

  • Adobe CC programs crashing on Start-up for Windows 7-8.1

When running CC programs on PC Premiere, After Effects, and Media Encoder all tend to crash on start-up. I've uninstalled all CC programs and re-installed them and I still get the same problem. I have to start them about 6 or 7 times before the program will actually launch. Also if I am in Premiere and send a sequence to Encoder, it almost 100% of the time crashes and then crashes Premiere. It happens only on the PC, I've tried it on 2 different PC machines
    PC 1:
    i3 dual 2.3ghz
    8gb ram
windows 8 (then upgraded to 8.1, same problems)
    PC 2:
    AMD A10 7700 3.4 Ghz,
    Radeon r7 1gb vram,
    16 gb ram,
    windows 7.
When ran on a mac with OS 10.9.x I have no issues.
Why does this crash so many times on PC?
The error message is "Something has caused Permiere/After Effects/Media Encoder to stop working. Closing program."

What is your exact brand/model graphics adapter (ATI or nVidia or ???)
What is your exact graphics adapter driver version?
Have you gone to the vendor web site to check for a newer driver?
For Windows, do NOT rely on Windows Update to have current driver information
-you need to go direct to the vendor web site and check updates for yourself
    ATI Driver Autodetect http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/auto-detect-tool
    nVidia Driver Downloads http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
Do you have dual graphics adapters?
Go to the Windows Control Panel and select Hardware and Sound and then select Device Manager... In Device manager you click the + sign to the left of Display Adapters... and see if 2 are listed

  • Error installing Adobe in Program Files... PLEASE HELP!

    Hi,
I´m trying to install the trial of Adobe CS6 Master Collection (FOR PC) in the folder Program files and I always get this message:
"download may fail to this folder due to restrictive access privileges. Please select a different folder."
I´ve tried installing it in another folders and the problem is the same... If I try to install it in a completely different place (as the desktop), it initially lets me but after that, when the installation starts, it says that there is the error 109 and that I cannot install...
WHAT CAN I DO? PLEASE HELP!
    Thank you very much.

We cannot know, but it sounds like you simply don't have the proper user privileges and are not the administrator. This is nothing Adobe can fix for you. Talk to your IT department/ the computer owner or if in fact you are your own admin, log in with a proper account and turn off security tools and whatnot...

  • Programs Refuse to Start!

Safari, MSN Messenger, and Mail will bounce once when clicked on, and will not launch. I deleted all programs, and re-downloaded them, but these three specifically will not work, though they will successfully download.
the crash log tells me this:
dyld: /Applications/Safari.app/Contents/MacOS/Safari truncated or malformed library: /System/Library/Frameworks/WebKit.framework/Versions/A/WebKit (file is empty)
I don't know what this means... Can Anybody Help?!

    Hi Cassidy,
If you follow the path to the file (click on Finder in the Dock, them System, them Library, etc.) you'll find the folder WebKit. The files that are supposed to be in there are missing. If you have access to another Mac running 10.3.9 you could copy the folder and put it in the proper place on your computer.
If that isn't possible do an Archive and Install using the Preserve Users and Network Settings option. Back up your home folder prior to doing it and also launch Disk Utility (in Applications/Utilities), highlight your drive on the left and click on Repair Permissions. Once done, insert the install disc in the drive and restart while holding the "c" key. Read through the following article about Archive and Install.

  • Install Adobe Photoshop CS6 after Creative Cloud failed...

When I start my Adobe Photoshop, I alwasy get asked to reactivate my abonnement even if I bought a CS6 Version with a Serialnumber... This product is registrated in my Adobe Acount. What can I do to use my Adobe Photoshop with my serialkey instead with Creative Cloud.... (I used the Removal Tool from Adobe to remove my Creative Cloud Applications bevor I installed the CS6 Adobe Photoshop without Creative Cloud..)

Claudias31518194 what specific error do you receive them you open Photoshop CS6?  Did you previously evaluate the Creative Cloud version of Photoshop?  If so I would recommend removing all installed Adobe Creative software titles and reinstalling the versions you plan to continue using.
Without doing so you may still have upgraded components installed which could lead to unexpected results similar to the repeated request to activate.  You can find details regarding the uninstall process at Install and update apps - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html.
If you need a fresh copy of the retail installation files for Creative Suite 6 they are available at Download CS6 products.

  • In Windows 7 I mistakenly un-installed Adobe Application Manager and all applications (CS3E, CS5 and Elements 6) have disappeared from programs on the start menu

WIN7: Mistakenly un-installed Adobe Application Manager and now all Adobe apps (CS3, CS5 and Elements 6) have disappeared from the programs list in the start up menu.
CS5 Bridge is still there so I can get into the photo editor to de-activate it and re-install.
However, all of CS3 has disappeared so I cannot get into it to de-activate.
Question 1: Will downloading and re-installing Adobe Application manager get CS3 automatically back?
Question 2: If not, what to do to get CS3 back things working properly again? Remember, I can't de-activate it.
Thanks and have a happy day!

Don't worry about activation unless you are installing on a new and different machine. Simply reinstall in order. It should all work.
Then install any updates. Product updates
After that, let me know how it went and if there are any further questions.

If you are using a Mac, simply hit Command-Spacebar to bring up Spotlight Search.  Begin typing the name of the application and when you see what you are looking for, press enter.  You should get a hit by the second or third letter you type.  Great way to launch apps on computers that you are not familiar with.
Windows 7 and 8 should have something similar.  I think you simply press the Windows key and begin typing.  Press enter when you see a match.
Both Mac and Windows search tools can be customized to search for applications, files, emails and so forth.  For Windows, look for Taskbar and Start Menu Properties.  For Mac, go to Preferences Spotlight.  Turn off items you know you won't need to speed up searches.

  • All of a sudden my iTunes stopped working, and I get the following error messages:   1. the program can't start because MSVCR80.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem   and   2. iTunes was not installed correct

All of a sudden my iTunes stopped working, and I get the following error messages:
    1. the program can't start because MSVCR80.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem
    and
    2. iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7 (Windows error 126).
Now I've checked the forums and followed the advice of uninstalling all Apple applications, rebooting, and reinstalling iTunes.
This is not working. I've tried installing as Administrator but doesn't make any difference at all.
There must be a way to fix this? I'm not a tech geek but I want to avoid having to take my laptop back to factory settings to sort this out.
    Thanks

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

Thanks for the help. I installed CC and it fixed everything but Photoshop. I guess I will have to use my old laptop for images until Adobe fixes the problem. Do you know of a place where we can send issues like these to Adobe?

  • Installed Adobe dlm add-on and now Firfox will not open. I see the process starting in Task Manager but no window opens. Unistalled Firefox then re-installed but still no luck. HELP ME!

''Duplicate post, continue here - [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions/793259]''
I installed Adobe dlm add-on and now Firefox will not open. I see the process starting in Task Manager but no window opens. Unistalled Firefox then re-installed but still no luck. HELP ME! I do not want to use IE! I presume it has something to do with Adobe DLM as ever since then it is not working.

I had this problem for a couple weeks as well and it was extremely frustrating considering we use firefox for all our company tasks. Here is the solution:
First of all if you have no bookmarks you want to save, then go directly to step 7. If you want to save your bookmarks first, then follow these steps.
    1. Shut down the computer
    2. Reboot and open firefox
    3. Go to Task Manager, right click firefox.exe, and click END PROCESS TREE
    4. WAIT 30 SECONDS! Then Double-click the shortcut to try and open firefox again
5.Repeat steps 3 and 4 until firefox finally opens (trust me, eventually it will)
    6. Once it finally opens, backup your bookmarks,
    7. Download a copy of firefox from there website
    8. Uninstall from programs menu and make sure to check the box REMOVE ALL COMPONENTS
    9. install the new copy and BOOM! it works
If it doesn't work, you're an idiot. If you don't want to reinstall firefox, then you're out of luck. Good Luck!

  • Adobe Reader X refuses to install - indexing service filter daemon

I have closed all applications, but Adobe Reader X refuses to install, saying that something called "indexing service filter daemon" is open.  How do I get around this?

This is how I got around this install issue:
    During install with the Indexing Service Filter Daemon message still open;
    1) right click on My Computer
    2) select Manage
    3) double click Services and Applications
    4) right click Indexing Service
    5) select pause
    6) in the Adobe X install message window, select Retry
It will have you reboot after install and it should automatically restart the service that you just paused.  If not, repeat the steps and select Start instead of Pause.
    Hope that helps.

  • Indesign CS6 " The program can't start because Core Foundation_v11.dll is missing from your computer. Try re-installing the program to fix the problem"

    Hi all
I'm running Indesign CS6 in Windows 7. Lately, when the program is opening, I'm getting the error pop-up: " The program can't start because Core Foundation_v11.dll is missing from your computer. Try re-installing the program to fix the problem" When I click OK the program continues to load as normal, with nothing abnormal going on that I can see. I'd like to get rid of the error message though. I've tried re-installing, and scanning for problems with several anti-virus and anti-malware programs, all to no avail (no sign of any virus or malware). Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to restore the missing file? Many thanks for any help.
    Wayne

With a bit more searching I found the source of the problem. For anyone interested it's explained here
    Missing file: CoreFoundation_v11x64.dll
I tried to install a trial of Extensis Suitcase last week but for some reason it failed to install. It was after that I started noticing the error message, but because Suitcase had failed to load I didn't connect the two events! After reading the above thread implicating Suitcase, I looked in the InDesign plugins folder and, lo and behold, a folder called Font Activation that contained Extensis files! I moved them out and the error message is gone!
Thanks again to P Spier and thanks to Adobe for these forums.
    Wayne
