All kinds of problems with scripts running and slowing things down. It always has to do with "chrome". I sick of it and am going back to IE if I can't get this resolved this weekend.

What do you want to know.....it's been going on for months and I can't seem to get it resolved. It's definitely a conflict with FF and why you can't resolve it, I have no idea. I've searched the net and these error messages are everywhere. Don't you think it's time you address this.
At this point I really don't care if I use FF any more. It's slowing everything down on my machine and if you don't have the experience to correct it, then back to IE I'll go.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

10.7 was horrible unstable so I waited until 10.7.1 and tried it again. Well I have to say that it is still a defective OS. I am reverting to Snow as we speak from my carbon clone copy.. This is really the worst OSX I have ever used. It gives me random Kernel panics for no reasons, unstable airport and hundreds of small issues that are just not necessary. For instance I can't use QuickTime in Lion to trim a videoclip ( the UI goes mad and the trimslider becomes inoperable and hangs the Player window ) while in Snow it is no problem. Itunes gives me crackling sound when the equalizer is turned on, Graphical glitches in Photoshop, games crashing, Preview.app not working with some pdfs, so I need Adobes reader which I never used before.. It is definately not ripe for mass usage. Might 10.7.2 or 10.7.3 fix it, but not yet.
* and just for the records : the hardware is absoltely ok. Because in Snow it works as it should. ( So many Lion fanbois are talking : "your Ram is defect", defintely NOT. - Lion is defect! ).

If you have synced your phone with a computer connect to that computer and you can back it up without the passcode. If you have not synced to a computer there is no way to recover data without the passcode.

iPhone warranty is not international, but is valid only in
the country of original purchase. Since you bought the iPhone
in the UK, your warranty is valid anywhere in the EU but not

Sounds like it is hanging when you exit and later try to restart Firefox.

I have an ipod touch 4th gen. and since the last update the lock button no longer works, this has caused it to have a lot of problems now like freezing all the time, kicking me out of almost all my apps, some times even when if locks on its own its not locked and buttons with be pushed in my pocket, and this causes the battiery to die fast. A friend of mine recently had me purchase a refurbished computer through my work. The computer came with no operating system on it...but that wasn't an issue as we have a disk for Windows XP. We installed it, no issues (at least I don't think so). We cannot get the computer to recognize the modem...so we can't get it online to download the drivers. I've tried burning them to a CD and then putting them on the new computer...but it seems to not be working? It also won't play CD's or DVD's...although under normal circumstances, it should.
I know next to nothing about computers...can anyone give me some pointers on what I can do to get this thing on the internet at the very least? I have Comcast DSL internet...if that makes a difference...so I am NOT trying to get on wirelessly.

try NeoOffice or OpenOffice. I don't know what apps you have. Pages might open it or TextEdit, but, again, I don't know. All I can do is suggest. If you are really a stickler for format, if you're on that dell PC again, try saving the document as a .pdf and then putting it on the thumb drive.

Have an older iPod. Computers I originally authorized are gone. I have downloaded iTunes to three other computers hoping to be able to back the nano up to at one of them. You should be able to copy it over by connecting your phone to your computer's iTunes and doing File > Devices > Transfer Purchases - it should copy over to the Books part of your library

Just updated to Maverick on my IMac and have all kind of problems with Iphoto and Mailbox

I recently updated my IMac to Maverick and was not aware of all the problems that came with this update. In Iphoto a lot of pictures disappeared and other are turned upside down other were wrong format. In the mailbox I tried to sort by name of sender to find out that names of sender are not matching the mail. One name that I have had on e conversation with was related to 10 mails with NO connection to him. Have made all the updates to latest version Iphoto promelem remains.

Re iphoto, back up first then rebuild the library as follows.
