All kinds of problems with syncing and backing up

Can anyone help?
My iPad gets only so far through the sync process before I get a window telling me my iPad has disconnected or that the disc cannot be found. The only way I can get it to sync is to reset it and sync from scratch, which means re-downloading all my apps.
Also, before anyone says it, I've tried just backing up the iPad but it won't do that either. I keep getting told the iPad disconnected before it's finished and ends up not copying anything
Hope someone out there has a suggestion

I checked the USB and it all looks alright. I tried syncing again and got told:
"An error occured while reading from this device"
which is the normal one i get.

Just updated to Maverick on my IMac and have all kind of problems with Iphoto and Mailbox

I recently updated my IMac to Maverick and was not aware of all the problems that came with this update. In Iphoto a lot of pictures disappeared and other are turned upside down other were wrong format. In the mailbox I tried to sort by name of sender to find out that names of sender are not matching the mail. One name that I have had on e conversation with was related to 10 mails with NO connection to him. Have made all the updates to latest version Iphoto promelem remains.

Re iphoto, back up first then rebuild the library as follows.

I am having all kinds of trouble with itunes and updating my ipad. when I open up itunes, it seems to just sit there, never going to itunes store. when I connect my ipad, I check update and it starts, but then I get this message:backup can't be saved on

I am having all kinds of trouble with itunes and updating my ipad. I open itunes up but it doesn't do anything except open to a blank screen. I try to access the itunes store but it won't go there. When I connect my ipad, and try to update it, it starts and then I get a message that says backup cannot be saved on this computer. I have tried everything suggested to no avail. This is the 2nd or 3rd time I have had problems with itunes. Sometimes I even get a message that I am not connected to the internet.
I have uninstalled and re-installed. Any help?

Problems With Syncing and Audio Play with Itunes

I've been having a problem with Itunes and my iPhone for the past few days. First of all, iTunes will not play any songs. When I press the play button, the speaker changes to the play picture, and the song loads at the top, but the timer stays stuck on zero. Also, when I attempt to sync my iPhone it will not add new songs downloaded onto my phone. I have updated and re-installed iTunes and it has not helped. Also, tonight I even updated my phone settings (which I interestingly enough was able to do despite the fact that I cant get a song to transfer to my iPhone, yet somehow the new program settings were able to make the jump.)
I am using Windows Vista at the moment. Does anyone have any idea as to what could be going on? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried backing up you iPhone and copying over everything to iTunes etc.Apps,Videos...Then Restoring to factory setting?
If that doesn't work try Manually Managing you Music and Videos.

Problems with syncing and transferring files

Hi there. Im having problems with syncing my Ipod Touch and uploading files. Ive managed to transfer multiplr MP3 fils but i noticed that when i disconnectktwith my PC. All the sings are gone. What could have haplened?

Apologies for the misspellings.
Basically i have tried uploading my MP3 files (one by one) in my device. then i tried uploading films. then when i disconnected my device all my songs on the device is gone. i do not know what happened exactly.
it would seem the current iTunes version is "unstable". having uploaded 50 songs, doing them one by one only to find out out it got wiped out in the device for some reason.
any explanation for this?

All kinds of problems with scripts running and slowing things down. It always has to do with "chrome". I sick of it and am going back to IE if I can't get this resolved this weekend.

What do you want to know.....it's been going on for months and I can't seem to get it resolved. It's definitely a conflict with FF and why you can't resolve it, I have no idea. I've searched the net and these error messages are everywhere. Don't you think it's time you address this.
At this point I really don't care if I use FF any more. It's slowing everything down on my machine and if you don't have the experience to correct it, then back to IE I'll go.

Problems with Next and Back Buttons ActionScript 3.0

Hi,
I have set up a Back, Play and Next buttons in a slideshow I am making. The next and back buttons work correctly until it gets to the end.
If I press the Next button it goes back to what appears to be Frame 1 and will not go to the next slide. If I press the Back button it will then go to Frame 201 and If I press next again it will go to Frame 1. It will only go back and forth in between those frames.
If I press the Back button from the beginning it goes through the slide show correctly then it gets stuck at Frame 1. If I press next button it goes to Frame 121 and gets stuck in between 121 and 1.
I can't figure this out please help.

I had to Convert to Keyframes each frames I wanted to jump to on the buttons layer. Then highlight the button and give each another instance name! Like forward1_btn, forward2_btn, back1_btn, back2_btn... I did that and adjusted the action-script for each button.

My lock button no longer works on my ipod touch and now i have all kinds of problems with it freezing and kicking me out of apps. Is there any way to get this fixed and were would i go to get it fixed?

Please Help!!!! I have an ipod touch 4th gen. and since the last update the lock button no longer works, this has caused it to have a lot of problems now like freezing all the time, kicking me out of almost all my apps, some times even when if locks on its own its not locked and buttons with be pushed in my pocket, and this causes the battiery to die fast. I really love my ipod and would like to just get it fix if possible for a reasonable about of money. Anyone know of a place I can get it fixed in Ft Lauderdale Fl area or is there something I can do?

All kinds of problems with HD shows and movies...

Recently, when I rent a movie I get a message stating, "An error occured loading this content. Try again later." I found this also happens with I now try to watch movies I've purchased. It also happens with TV shows as well. It's frustrating because sometimes it works, but those are now fewer and more far between.
I've restarted, and restored, my Apple TV but to no avail. Apple TV works fine with my other services, and my connection speed checks out fine.
Any ideas?

Problems with sync and the music player

Ok, here we go. my problems started when I bought a mac (I used to have a pc) I transfered all my music and apps to my new mac then... when I tried to sync with my Iphone 4s all my contacts were erased! D: but i think that was because the new computer didnt have a thing, well... thats not the deal, the thing is im not sure if the iphone is recognizing this new computer as the one hehe, the main, so it can save the backup and all that stuff. I have already autorized this mac, and I have checked the option to sync information, music, videos, and photos. After all of that I sync the music and see what happened! it happened to all of the abecedary, I have already turn the device off, sync again and nothing. someone can help me please?

All Kinds of Problems with my MacBook Pro

I've got a MBP Core 2 Duo, running 10.4.8. Here's the problems
Okay, this all happened at once without me doing anything different than I do everyday. No changes, or maintenance programs run...just normal computing. Okay, so today I open iTunes and it says that the library is corrupt and forces me to reimport all of my music. Then, I open iPhoto and the same thing happened...library is gone. The files are still there, but I had to reimport them. Then, iWeb won't open at all...it just has one of those "Report to Apple" things that comes up. In Mail, all of my smart folders were still there, but my e-mails were all gone until it redownloaded them from the server. When I opened Skype I had to re-"Agree to terms" and retype in my username and password. Oh yeah, and all of my iCal calendars were gone.
So I got everything back up and running, reset my computer and the same thing happened again.
Does ANYBODY know what's going on? I'm about to move out of the country and don't want to deal with this stuff in an area with no Apple Support close by.

Try this for starters. You may have a disk issue.
Boot from your system CD, run Disk First Aid from your Disk Utility and repair your permissions.

Itunes problems with syncing and photos

Why is syncing in itunes screwed up all the time...it doesn't seem dependable. I downloaded some tv shows and tried to sync it and it doesn't even let you drag it to your ipod. The only way I could manage to get the videos on there is by manually managing my music. It seems like managing manually is the only dependable way.
Second, Is there a way to get photos downloaded directly from your ipod on itunes? I noticed there is a photos tab under devices/ipod and it seems to sync it, but you can't view it on your hard drive. The only way I got my photos on my hard drive was by using my computer/ipod (which doesn't even let you drag your music to the device, what is up with that? can you only use itunes to put music on your ipod?).

Deselect Sync Photos under the Photos tab followed by selecting Apply and a sync which should remove all photos on your iPhone that were transferred from your computer.
Re-select Sync Photos under the Photos tab and the folder of photos on your computer you want transferred to your iPhone followed by a sync.
If no change, Mac or Windows PC?
If a Mac, do you use iPhoto and are you transferring photos from iPhoto or do you manually manage photo storage on your Mac?
If a Windows PC, do you manually manage photo storage on your PC?

I've been using Firefox for some time now. but i've been having all kind of issues with it and am considering a move to Google Chrome. i don't want to do this, but for example: your site tells me i'm running version 3.6.10, when i am running 4.0.1...huh?

i play restaurant city on Facebook, among other things, but the game crashed every time i breathed on it. somebody suggested Chrome, so i switched to it...just for that game.
today, i started having trouble with Twitter (the new one), sending messages & tweets. i've switched to the old one & it works, but again suggested that i go to Chrome for this & all my needs.
i don't want to, but i will if things like this keep happening.

In the current Firefox 34 release there is a new "one-off" search bar.
This search bar doesn't show the name of the search engine and a logo.
You can type one letter to make a drop-down list appear where you can see suggestions and see the used search engine and that also has bar at the bottom where you can select other search engines that are enabled via the Search tab in Options/Preferences.
You can use the Tab key to select one of the other available search engines and press the Enter key to search with the selected search engine.
Click the search engine icon and click "Change Search Settings" to open the Search tab in Options/Preferences (positioned between Tabs and Content) to select the default search engine and select which search engines to show in the search bar drop-down list that opens when you start typing search terms.

Problem with guitar and backing track

Hi, i link my guitar with the jack cable, but when i go to play i don't hear the sound of my guitar and i don't hear the sound of the backing track too. Why? Somebody can help me?

You'll have to give us more details! Like:
- What is "the jack cable"?
- How are you recording?
- Are you recording to a guitar track or a real instrument track?
