hi
i have nokia c6-00.yesterday when i sent a message to my friend , i saw, all of messages in my inbox,sent and draft folder were deleted!
i didn't do any thing just send a message.
before this, i had more messages in my inbox but never happened like this!
the messages saved in phone memory
i searched in sim card memory and even in memory card but i couldn't find them
do you help me to recover my messages?

All Text Messages Were Deleted On Their Own & I Can't Do A Restore

I have an iPhone4 and this morning I woke up and see that my laptop (windows) had been restarted due to updates. My phone was plugged in to the laptop because it was charging. I have a password on my laptop so once I put the password in, it is like turning it on and of course it starts charging my phone and itunes starts doing a sync. I did not know that my messages were deleted until I went to send someone a message and that is when I noticed all messages were gone except the ones that I just received this morning. I tried to do a restore but it said I couldn't do a restore because I didn't have enough space available(even after I deleted a bunch of stuff). Long store short, I been trying to fix this problem all morning and a few syncs have been done so I'm asking for help. Are my messages now gone for good? Is there anything I can do to retrieve them?
Side Note:This may or may not mean anything but my phone has been running slow for the last 2 days.

TS3899 In the past I have been able to retreive all messages not deleted in the inbox of my mailbox. This week I have not been able to acces messages received prior to 9/10/13. what can I do to retrieve messages eceived prior to 9/10/13.

is your movie in your backup folder a Quicktime movie? Then probably only have the Quicktime wrapper in your backup folder, but not the referenced media in the file fork of the movie. If you see the full quality movie in iPhoto in QuickTime player, don't drag it from the browser to the Desktop, but use "File > Reveal in Finder > Original File" to show the movie in your iPhoto Library. Select the Movie when it is revealed and ctrl-click it to open it in Quicktime Player.
Export it from Quicktime Player with "Export to" and share it to iTunes. This way it will be converted to a .mp4 movie that embeds the missing resources.
You can drag the converted movie from iTunes to the Desktop or share it using to Media Browser to other applications.

The first problem is - during importing all my pictures throug ovi suite - all my pictures and videos were deleted from my phone and werent copied out to my pc, i didnt find all my pictures which are so important for me! Only one picture was removed to pc and kept on my c7 - the picture which was sent to me via mms. Why its happened so and where i can find my pics now? next time i tried to download one song to my C7 -and i found out that a lot of my songs were removed from my C7. i had 200 songs but i found only 40 of them WHY?
the second one is - though i have no any pictures on my c7 - its said that my mass memory is full and phone memory is full as well. why?? how can i solve this issue? i ned ur help please..

When i saw the message that my memory is full, i decided to import all mu pictures and video to pc. I connected my C7 to pc and clicked to import pictures, after that i ve found that all my pictures were deleted from my C7 and also i didnt find them on my pc. hope u uderstand me. thanks

Is there a way to mass/multi delete photos in all messages without deleteing the message

i have iOS 7, iPhone 4s and Mavericks.
i know i can tap and hold on the photo and the "more" option appears, then flip through the conversation and select individual messages to delete within that conversaion. but i have so many ongoing texts that i dont want to delete, and most have many photos within the message that go months back that i dont need. i dont want to delete the entire conversation but i dont need the photos embedded in the message. im tired of deleting photos from the message as soon as i read or sent a photo text. is there an option in the phone or an app that will mass delete embedded photos within all texts. either iphone or mac app would work... or a script... anything! i would even be happy with selecting all phones to delete across all messages the way the camera roll allows you to delete. its seems like an obvious option.

Open the Settings app > Notifications > Messages. Scroll down adn turn OFF "View In Lock Screen". You may want to consider setting Alert style to none, but this will not impact what happens when the screen is locked.

Lost all Messages after Deleting some.

Pop account using Mail v2.1 on an iBook G4 OS X (10.4.10) with 640MB Ram belonging to my wife. I'm a PC guy. Thinking of changing to Apple. :=)
My wife deleted a 'batch' (approx 50)of messages by highlighting them, clicking on Edit, and Delete. When she did that all the messages in that mailbox disappeared. She can still receive emails in that account as the New Message counter still shows when new messages arrive. She cannot see the new messages without doing a Search for them using part of the missing email address. When she does a Search the messages are there. There are 4656 messages found.
There is a small triangle next to that email account with the missing messages. When the triangle is clicked the triangle rotates, but nothing else shows. Nothing drops down below the account as I think it should. So the account is there, messages come in, the triangle rotates, the messages are not visible in that account without a Search of the Inbox.
I have attempted to Rebuild that particular mailbox, but the option of doing so is not available. 'Rebuild' is dull for lack of the proper term. She has another mailbox which does have the option to Rebuild so that is available in the program. I did attempt to Rebuild the Inbox under which the two accounts are located. That didn't do any good.
I attempted to Reindex with no change.
I ran the Disk Utility with no change.
When I look in Library, Mail, Pop(account), Inbox I see the messages she deleted. Nothing else. I can read them by double clicking on them which makes them open in Mail.
If this was a Windows program I'd reinstall it, but Mac programs are usually pretty steady.
I'm at a loss. The messages seem to be there, but not visible in the mailbox. Any suggestions?

The problem is probably that the mailbox has lost the .mbox suffix in the filesystem.
Report the names of the files and folders present at the first level of the ~/Library/Mail/POP-username@mailserver/ account folder in the Finder.
In order to post the exact file names and avoid typing mistakes, proceed as follows. In the Finder, go to ~/Library/Mail/POP-username@mailserver/. With that folder open, if you’re looking at it in View > as List mode, first collapse any expanded folders so that the Finder only shows the files and folders at the first level. Now, do Edit > Select All (⌘A), then Edit > Copy (⌘C), and paste it in your reply to this post.
You’ll probably see an INBOX folder without the .mbox suffix there. If that’s the case, quit Mail and rename the folder to INBOX.mbox.
Note: For those not familiarized with the ~/ notation, it refers to the user’s home folder. That is, ~/Library is the Library folder within the user’s home folder, i.e. /Users/username/Library.

Since I updated to iOS5 software, my old voicemail messages have been deleted. Also, I finally set up a voicemail password so I could retrieve my new voicemails. That's when I found out the older (prior to Oct.) messages were deleted. Thanks.

haha, so now i'm thinking. I'm learning the terminal as fast as i can but there are several lines of codes and commands in there that throws up red flags to me that i don't fully understand. It just looks fishy too me. It would be highly appreciated if someone could just check this out just to tell me that i don't need to worry about it. Or point me in the right direction. I just feel un easy about this. ha.

All my text messages were deleted

My phone has been working fine all day/morning. I go to use it and i get a text message that says 7645 from a five digit number. I close the message and then when I go to read my old text messages, all of them were gone. Wth? Are they gone forever? I plugged in my iPhone to my computer and no luck there.

When you plugged the iPhone into the computer did you try restoring it from a backup?

Messages Were Deleted by Magic

Last week, I reported that all of my messages that were in my In Box had been deleted auto-magically. The customer service rep that I talked to, at that time, accused me of deleting the messages; rude person, he was, and I ended the conversation.
I called back the next day to report that the server was trying to load messages, but the messages wouldn't come through. This time, I talked to a really nice customer service rep (he told me he had just started working there). He connected to my computer and saw that the server was trying to load messages, yet no messages came through. He told me that the previous customer service rep (rude guy) had entered a status that he had solved my problem (typical for a rude person).
I have read where this has happend to other Verizon customers.
Whenever I access Verizon email, I do it from my computer or from my smart phone while I am on travel. I don't use Outlook or any other email engine or email software.
I do not delete messages via my smart phone. I only read messages.
When I delete messages from my In Box, I do it directly from my Verizon email on my computer but I leave them in the Trash Folder until I am sure I want to delete the messages for good.
Fast forward to this week: all of my filters are gone ---- auto-magically.
What the heck is going on Verizon?
Months ago, I reported that when I reply "All" to a message, not only does the message go to everyone in the send field, I too, get the reply message back. I am a software engineer and that's not the way it's supposed to work. I should not get my own "replied to" message sent back to my In Box. Right now, the only way for me to stop this is to make sure to delete my email address from the send list in the reply message.

If you don't have an iTunes or iCloud backup for your contacts, you should use a third iPhone data recovery tool to get your contacts back.

Need help!!! All files were deleted.

Hey all. Tonight I upgraded my computer to leopard. When It restarted and booted up I noticed all my applications, pictures, music and all other files were missing. Please anybody help me. I had a lot of stuff on there that just disappeared. I am freaking out and don't know what to do. PLEASE HELP.

Which option did you use, Erase and Install, or Archive and Install? If the former then you did just that, erased all your files.
Try using an application such as [Data Rescue II|http://www.prosofteng.com/products/data_rescue.php] or [FileSalvage|http://subrosasoft.com/OSXSoftware/index.php?mainpage=product_info&productsid=1]. Both have free trial versions that let you see if the software will help before you decide to buy. You will also need a second hard drive equal to or larger in size than your first drive.
It is critical that you do not use the computer or even turn it on until you have rescued your files. Files only have the directory reference to them removed when you empty the trash and are still present on the computer. However, their space is marked as available to any other file creation done on the computer (even done by you booting the computer) and there is risk that your files will be overwritten by the computer.

WSUS - All items were deleted

WSUS:
We run Server Cleanup Wizard to delete computers not contacting the WSUS server, however, the wizard deleted all client computers list and servers as well.
The wizard should only delete client computers not contacting the WSUS server for 30 days or more.
Is there any way that we can recover the deleted list?

This is functionally impossible. The Server Cleanup Wizard can only delete computers that have not communicated with the WSUS server in over 30 days. Either none of the computers have been talking to this WSUS server, or there's more to the story.
Is there any way that we can recover the deleted list?
The computers that ARE communicating with the WSUS server will automatically re-appear within 24 hours.
