I attempted to update my iPhone 4 from ioS 5 to ioS 6 from iTunes on my laptop using Windows 7 OS, I had downloaded the new ioS 6 and started the update on the iPhone 4 and everything seemed to be going routine until the phone had been going thought what I though was the update process, when an error window opened up and it said that an error had occured and the iPhone 4 could not be updated. I have never had a problem like this before and it caught me off guard and I did not note all the information in the error window, but it did not appear to indicate anything other than that I would have to abort the update and did not think it would be that big of a problem. I tried to disconnect the phone and was going to do the update at a different time when I could investigate what the problem was. However I could not get iTunes to recognize the iPhone 4 after this and still cannot. After rebooting the laptop a few times and also trying to reset the phone a few times as well, I just have a dead phone. The iPhone 4 just has the image of a USB cable with an arrow pointing to an icon for iTunes. I have tried to get iTunes to recognize the iPhone, but cannot get it to. I am unable to do anything else with the phone. It seems like the phone is in a state where it does not have enough software loaded to do anything or I don’t know how to get it to. Any suggestions how I can get my iPhone 4 back into service. Note: iTunes still recognizes my iPad and iPods, so iTunes seems to be okay to me. Craig
I had this problem on my iPod Touch 4g. Just press the home and sleep button. Wait and it will give an iTunes and cable logo. Now you can put in DFU mode (Hold Sleep and Home button 10 seconds and then release the power button kand keep pressing on the home button.) Now you will be able to restore it in iTunes.

I have Windows Vista 64 bit.
I click on the bookmark and the address comes up on the bar, but it doesn't open. When I go to Internet Exlporer the website does work.
In addition, before I downloadedI loved playing Yahoo gin. But the new Firefox does not load it.
I love Firefox, but it looks like I'll have to go back to IE.
I've downloaded Firefox 4 again to see if that helps. It doesn't.
I'd like to go back to the previous Firefox and download that. This 4 is a pain.

everytime I start ITunes 64 bit on my Windows 7 64 bit PC, I get the Welcome Screen and all is reset.
Seems to be ITunes can not store the settings after closing.I am having the same problem! Everything worked fine last week and now it looks as though iTunes is brand new. I can't sync my iphone without restoring. and I if I reload my library or even a song, nothing saves when closed. It just sits there empty.

If you are unable to remember your password, security questions, don’t have access to your rescue address or are unable to reset your password for whatever reason, your only option is to contact Apple ID Support, upon speaking to an operator you should explain that your problem is related to your Apple ID, this way you will not be charged for assistance, even if you don’t have an AppleCare plan.
You will need to show patience with the procedure and be prepared to demonstrate without question that the account belongs to you. Don’t expect access to be restored immediately and if you aren’t the owner of the Apple ID registered to the device the account won’t be reset.

Any time that I try to use an application, the screen become normal just for a couple of seconds, and it zoom again. I can not reduce it with my fingers.

Apps don't work after upgrading to iOS 5
After having my new iPad 2 to iTunes, answered one million questions, upgraded to iOS 5 and restored my content, MY PAYED FOR APPS DO NOT START, ANGRY BIRDS ALL VERSIONS, GARAGE BAND, SKYPE ETCETERA.
I am SOOOOOOO frustrated overklig tjis. I have PAYED FOR these APPS and have receipts, and tjej Seouls Word.
What has Apple done with them???? I want them back now!!!!!!!I just did some poking around on other Apple forums here and found a recommendation for an app which actually does take the embedded lyrics from iTunes and display them on the iPad. It's been around since November, so I don't know why I never saw it before. It's called Lyrics View and it works well. The only quibbles I have with it are that it doesn't display the title, which the Music app used to do automatically, and when you switch out of the current song it takes you to Songs rather than Artists or Albums, so you have to change to Artists if you want to hear someone else.
It also displays the lyrics with the first lines all the way at the top of the screen, so they are sometimes hard to see behind the progress indicator, but you can make the indicator disappear with a click.
At least there's a workaround until Apple fixes this, assuming that they do. -

I have an app (Bento 1.1.5) that won't start on the iPad 1, current iOS (5.0.1). It used to be fine, but no more. It eaither goes into forever start-up mode; the "wheel" keeps turning and it never loads. Or it crashes immediately on start-up. After each problem time I've closed all apps and restarted the iPad. Still no luck. How do I delete Bento and reinstall it from my Mac? Or is there a way to re-download a fresh copy?
