All my contacts have suddenly disappeared!! I just changed my email exchange details as have changed my company and 5 mins after that my contacts were all gone.!! am going through messages to understand the contact person and saving numbers.

I just changed the details of my mail exchange and suddenly after 5 min.s all my contacts are gone??!!!!! I am trying to go through all messages to recognize the people who have sent me their messages.. PLEASE help. How can I get my contacts back??
I dont really have my backup. The laptop I used to sync with, is with my old company now.

This should really be unnecessary but anyway..
If you mean the internal IP of the TC, the it can be changed by changing the dhcp settings.. which is weird.
It looks a bit different in the v6 utility but is easy to do..
See the DHCP beginning address is split into sections.. change the front section from 10.0 to 192.168
Then update the TC.. then you will need to change everything on the network as the IP will need to change.. I recommend you simply turn everything off and then on again in correct order.. modem.. TC.. clients. 2min gap.

Is it connecting to the Router or Modem?
Is the new Router using maybe WPA2 encryption? If so, G4s can only do WPA or less.

The Interface that connects to the Internet, needs to be drug to the top of System Preferences>Network>Show:>Network Port Configurations and checked ON.
Instead of joining your Network from the list, click the WiFi icon at the top, and click join other network. Fill in everything as needed.
Then... Try putting these numbers in Network>Airport>TCP/IP>DNS Servers, for the Interface you connect with...
208.67.222.222

Then Apply.
Also, turn off IPv6:

if the device I connected have caused this, shouldn't the macbook itself have some type of protection that should prevent this from happening.
because when I took it to an apple certified maintenance shop, the guy said that now it could only run while connected to the power. it won't run on batteries. and that I have to change the motherboard.
can I just replace the damaged part only, would apple consider this as a design issue and they could pay for it, or should I just buy a new motherboard for 800$.

The problem is in finding a tech shop that will/can do board level repairs on Macs. They are few. And I certainly wouldn't spend $800 on a new logic board - I would replace the computer if I had to pay that much!
You could call around to a few repair shops and see if they feel competent to isolate the problem and do a board level repair - but I'm afraid, in the end, that your search will be futile.

You can use their BC login details and use them , which on publish the site will be under their account.
Please change the BC login from Edit > Preferences > Publish > Switch Accounts , for Mac it would Adobe Muse > Preferences

Unfortunately it looks like your 3GS' battery has expanded so much that it cracked the whole case wide open. If you have AppleCare on your device then you're all set, just take it to your local Apple Store.
If not, then still take it to the store. Complain about the battery bursting, and make sure to tell them that it's for sure a defect (you'd think it's obvious, but sometimes you just need to drive the point in), and that it potentially could have been and still be a hazard.
Remind them that the phone has not been in any adverse conditions, extreme temperatures, or abused in any way but that you just merely used it normally. (I'm assuming that's the truth?)
If they're good about it they should replace the broken phone for you; but unfortunately there's little chance of repairing your current device.

Hi, this problem is also happening to me also. I just took some pics of my daughter on my nikon d3100 and imported them from SD card to iPhoto. It says 'preparing to import' but during the process i do not see the photos being imported. After it was done, there was a new event album, i clicked opend it to see my photos but all of them were blank. If you have a Mac OS 8.x or 9.x CD (depending on the iMac model), look for a Drive Setup utility somewhere on that disc. Boot from the CD while holding down the C key. Initialise the hard disk with a 'Zero all data' option chosen.
